Went for a couples Korean scrub on a Tuesday evening. The staff were all pretty okay. For the price, I think more could easily be included. If it were my business, I would offer a complimentary beverage while guest wait (doesnt have to be alcohol). I would also include a moisturizing component after the scrub. It was an interesting experience, but overall I would not return.

I took my husband here today for a one hour couples steam room session. It was so relaxing. The staff was polite and inviting. The spa is really pretty. The Steam Room was clean, had a nice shower, towels and toiletries provided, cold water and privacy. It was a beautiful experience.

A Korean Scrub is an epic experience at Sacred Hour. Brittan was outstanding. From the moment she introduced herself, she put my mind at ease, was professional, calming, and knowedgeable. You will walk out of there feeling refreshed, relaxed and your skin will glow.

Booked a manicure and pedicure with Briana for my first time at Sacred Hour. She was so kind and took her time and made the whole experience very relaxing. The staff was extremely attentive and even offered me a complimentary glass of champagne. My nails look great. Cannot wait to comeback !

Ive been going to Sacred Hour for years. You get what you pay for here with quality, comfort, care, relaxation and outstanding services whether nails, facial, massage, etc. or have a drink at the hidden gem of Tribu bar and lounge (you can get the relaxing Sacred Hour vibes there anytime for a drink even if you dont have a service). Pro Tip: Make sure you double check whether your service is at the Lakewood or Rocky River location...they are within a few minutes of each other and both addresses have Detroit in their name. :)

I had the most amazing facial with Justine at SH. She is getting to know my skin and making a difference in texture, hydration and fine lines. The most relaxing afternoon that I have had in a long time. Thank you Justine. XO

The best spa experience in Ohio, hands down. The number of options on their menu is unbelievable. The Indian Head Massage and the 90 Minute Deep Tissue Massage are my go-to services, but when I need a full pampering day I add a gel manicure and a fireside pedicure. I cant wait to try their facials and the Earth & Sky massage soon! Oh, and its worth mentioning that their team is so talented across the board that in the 13 years Ive gone to SH, Ive actually never requested any specific person, I always schedule with whatever therapist is available at the day and time that I need. And Ive always been beyond satisfied with my experience. The entire team is world class!

Callie at the Tribu bar is amazing make sure you stop by before or after a service! Be sure to see Kathy if you can for a massage she is the best! Britton of the Korean scrub best hour of your life! Also if you get the chance to get a service by the owner Tabitha you will be for sure in for a special treat, she always goes the extra mile!

Very kind staff, my 1 hour deep tissue massage was amazing and very relaxing. Loved the patio/ bar area, was so fun to have some cocktails and sharable snacks before/after the massage! Great place to come with a small group of family/friends for a relaxing day.

Sacred Hour is the last word in relaxation. From the bar/lounge to the massage services it’s truly amazing. The atmosphere is soothing and calm from the second you arrive. All of the staff is very friendly and professional. You’ve got to try honey lavender latte when you come. I highly recommend the 90min CBD massage. Eric was my massage therapist today and he worked some demons out of my back I didn’t know were there! 10/10 coming back and would recommend to others.

I received a gift certificate for a massage that I was super excited to use since i had heard such great things about Sacred Hour and ended up booking towards the end of the summer. As soon as my service started, the masseuse started to trauma dump on me for the entire hour about her ex and a situation she saw on her phone when she checked it right before my massage. Was the most unrelaxing hour I could have had. She continued to apologize throughout about telling me all of what had happened but then continued to talk about it, it was just very unprofessional and would be very hesitant to rebook a service here for fear of that happening again. I wish that I didn’t have to tip on the service when checking in since that ended up being my experience. 2 stars since the atmosphere inside the spa was very pretty.

I got the korean scrub with Britton. And first off she is amazing, super sweet, considerate and she makes you feel so at ease it really makes the experience even better! Absolutely follow the recommendation to not shave, use lotions, or do up makeup though, it makes it so much better! My skin feels so soft and I am absolutely estactic with the results of this scrub! And as always the staff of sacred hour and the bar are welcoming and so lovely its a treat to come here

Ive been visiting Tribu [after my spa appointments at Sacred Hour] for nearly three years now... The interior space is intimate and beautifully appointed (bar top and small fireplace/stove is quite elegant), and there is a decent heft of exterior seating when weather permits. Ive never met a cocktail there that I havent loved, as well. Will happily continue to patronize for many years to come...

A copy of this complaint was mailed to the owner of Sacred Hour Wellness Spa (Lakewood). I chose this location for my manicure for its excellent reputation and stellar reviews on Google. The place is beautifully decorated and the ambience is inviting and relaxing. The staff at the front desk is friendly and welcoming. My complaint is specifically regarding the provided service – manicure. After nail technician #14 finished my manicure, and I let it dry for 10 minutes outside on the patio, I noticed bubbles on the nail polish. I believe this was caused by using old nail polish. I informed the staff at the front desk and after one of the specialists took a careful look at the bubbles, they rescheduled me for 3pm. The second manicure was done by another nail technician. She informed me that she never seen bubbles before. After my second manicure was completed, I let it dry again for 10 minutes while sitting on the patio, and bubbles appeared again. I had another appointment so I had to leave the salon. A second issue is the billing. On the spa’s website the price of the manicure is $35. I was never notified that a mandatory 20% tip will be automatically added to my final bill after I gave them my credit card information. I was never given a chance to approve these additional charges. Nowhere on the website says that my card will be charged 20% extra after checkout. I believe this is an unfair and dishonest billing practice and I would like to resolve these issues.

The space was very relaxing with warm color tones and a modern vibe. The staff was accommodating and personable completely adding to the essence. My massage therapist was professional and ensured that I had a positive experience. Well-priced. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of visiting sacred hour in Lakewood, Ohio for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I got a pedicure and wished immediately I had scheduled more services!First of all, it was THE best pedicure I’ve ever had, and two weeks later it still looks like I got it yesterday. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful, calming, and energizing at the same time.The tribal lounge outside was the most amazing thing for me, what an amazing atmosphere to let your polish dry, and grab a cocktail! I spent way more time there than I needed to, but never felt like I was over staying my welcome. I will be back again and again and just might make a special trip to visit (from Columbus).

Awesome experience! Wonderful friendly staff! I had a 90 min deep tissue massage and the lady did an amazing job! Afterwards my sister and I went to the Tribu Lounge and had an app and drink which was delicious and the atmosphere was so relaxing and calming! We will be back soon and schedule more than one service so we can be pampered even longer!!

One of the most relaxing experiences Ive had at a spa. The Korean scrub was unlike anything I have experienced before and left my skin feeling wonderful. The manicure and pedicure were reasonably priced and came out perfect. Check in/out was seamless at check in they verify how the transaction will be paid in order to just head out after your treatment is done. I cannot wait to book another appointment!

Soothing experience. Mani/Pedi professionally done. The staff is laid back and you can relax around them. The light soothing music completes the vibe. Worthwhile experience!

Sacred Hour Wellness Spa is our Favorite Massage Spa to go to in OHIO now. We have been to numerous Spas in the Ohio area yet nothing compares to Sacred Hour Wellness Spa. The staff there was amazing. The Spa itself is so nice, clean, and calming. I love the set up. They have this Bar/Lounge to go and relax with a few drink or food while you are waiting. The Massage we got was the 2 hour couple massage. WAS THE BEST MASSAGES we have gotten! We will be back 100% and we will highly recommend everyone stops here!

Kristen is an amazing massage therapist and healer! I’m so glad I found her, and her deep tissue massages are so therapeutic! She listens and delivers, and her skills and knowledge are impressive! On all levels, I feel like a new person after! Thank you for all that you do!!!

Always professional and lovely. Not only do you come and go feeling welcomed and comfortable, the masseuses all do a fantastic job. Me and my boyfriend just had Nicole and Brooke for a couples massage and they both did phenomenal!

I get massages pretty often. Sacred Hour is about an hour drive for me so I only come here once in awhile when I want a special treat. I used to absolutely LOVE this place. The most relaxing and tranquil experience I ever had at spa. But I was disappointed that my recent experience was not that. The woman who greeted me when I got there was very nice. Nothing wrong at the front desk. I was pretty turned off that I am now charged a 20% gratuity before I even receive my service, though. That seems kind of ridiculous to me. My massage therapist was not warm and friendly. It was definitely a get in and get out type of vibe from her. Something that wouldn’t bother me if my 75 minute service wasn’t $160. If I’m paying that much then I would like a little more pampering and kindness. Especially when I was charged 20% for the tip upfront. The room was freezing. My body was tense the whole time because I was so cold. Needless to say, I was just very disappointed by my visit. I got a babysitter, made the hour drive, and took the morning off work and it definitely wasn’t the Sacred Hour experience I’ve always received in the past.

Appreciated my therapist, but the entire facility seems focused on getting clients in/out as quickly as possibly, theres a general lack of care on a deep level. Surprised they have so many reviews, must attract many superficial people that dont care to truly connect with their body worker.

Had a prenatal massage by Karen and it was everything I needed! She was very professional and kind! 12/10

I visited the spa the other day and I loved my experience. I got a 45 minute Swedish massage with Sheena. She was very hospitable and kind. She worked wonders on my body. Afterwards I had a pedicure with Melissa. She was very outgoing and made sure I had a relaxing time. I purchased a Golden Fairy drink with my services and enjoyed it. After my spa time came to an end I was led to the Tribu Lounge for another drink. The environment of both the spa and lounge is relaxing and you do not feel as if you are in Cleveland. The staff are so nice and cater to anything that you need. They want you have have a perfect experience. I will be visiting Sacred Hour again soon! Please choose this place as your next spa getaway!

I visited @sacredhourspas in Lakewood for their 60 minute deep tissue and therapeutic massage and let me tell you....!!!!! It was quite amazing. The entire atmosphere, aroma and nature of service was amazing. It was everything I needed! #GoVisit

I had a really lovely / amazing massage itself, my therapist took direction and gave special attention to the spots I asked about, so for that I would give 5 stars... But the total experience itself was lacking. At this very high price point, and for all of the marketing they do as being a sort of sanctuary of relaxation, I was expecting to be admitted to some lovely womens dressing room where Id get a robe, have a more private waiting room area (not just right next to the front door), maybe have a foot soak (they do all of these things at both Ladies & Gentlemen as well as John Roberts, where the price point is also a bit lower I might add), but when you arrive they just have you wait in your normal clothes in a waiting room (though its not so private it is still a beautiful room), but right next to the front door where you hear the phone calls, the front staff talking, etc... so the ambiance is lacking in a weird way. Because the house itself (where the spa is located) is so beautiful and the rooms are wonderfully decorated... but this is a strange oversight. Especially because other area spas provide a more total experience (the robes, the foot soak, etc) in this respect.SO, if youre looking for a FULL relaxation experience from the minute you walk through the door, I would recommend going elsewhere... but if youre just going for a great massage, you wont be disappointed!

I have been a loyal customer for years, referred family and friends. I have never missed an appointment, until tonight. My car broke down. I had no way to get there. I explained this to the person on the phone only to be told that even if I rescheduled, I would be charged the full amount for my missed appointments. I understand cancellation and no show policies but things can happen and thats when customer service should override a punitive policy. They have lost hundreds of potential dollars just in this year alone, taking advantage of my bad circumstances this one night. They promote themselves as a space for healing and wellness, I wouldnt fall for their hype.

Had THE BEST Spacation at Sacred Hour. Ive been to quite a few spas in my lifetime and Sacred Hour blew each of them out of the water. The Mimosa Body Scrub was FANTASTIC! The Deep Tissue Massage...FANTASTIC and my other services were great as well. Caitlin was a breeze to work with booking and the staff was amazing! If youre thinking of going, GO!

This the perfect place for a massage. Check in was a breeze. I relaxed on the porch until Eric came to get me for my massage. All of my knots & pain were worked out with this deep tissue massage. Eric took the time to listen and he addressed all of my concerns.

Services and staff are all phenomenal. I’ve had the pleasure of attending scared hour for about 4 years. I’m happy to share that the place now has a Pavlovian effect on me. As soon as I walk in and smell the candles, hear the music, and see the warm decor - I completely relax regardless of how my day has been.

Sacred Hour is my go-to for manicures, pedicures, and massage. The quiet tranquil environment is relaxing and stress-free. All staff are very professional and attentive. Special shout out to Asha for the best pedicure I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

I cant recall a time where I was ever fully relaxed during a pedicure, but Sacred Hour was calming from the minute I stepped in the door; this upscale little getaway will absolutely make you forget that you are on a busy street in Lakewood! Im ticklish and have back issues, so the posture of pedis is often uncomfortable, but Katie (sp?) did such a fantastic job of using just the right amount of pressure and support that I even dozed off for a few minutes during the foot massage! The decor is luxurious without being over-the-top, and it seems like every aspect has been intentionally thought out: from the layout to the decor and lighting, to the body-friendly lotions and polishes.Parking can be tricky and it is on the pricier side, but well worth the splurge for the quality and value of services!

Kristen gives a fantastic deep tissue massage! I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and by the end of the hour session I felt brand new! The location was beautiful and the services were top tier. Will definitely be making this place a routine stop!

This was my first visit to Sacred Hour Wellness Spa and I was so impressed. The space itself is gorgeous, clean and very zen. Really felt like a spa. I enjoyed the Sun Goddess facial with Andrea and I absolutely loved it.

WARNING! I booked my spa day a month and a half ago. The rate was $300 plus tip and tax. When I got there today they upped the price to 350++. They said they can change the prices at any time. No notice to me in advance. I showed up and HAD to pay an extra $60+ that I was not planning on. The services provided were fine. Just note that if you are needing to take a shower or use any facilities they provide a towel. Thats it. You also have no choice but to tip 20%. Its mandated. Highly disappointed.

I had the most amazing relaxing experience at Sacred Hour. The top notch customer service and the way each technician took care of me during my services were unmatched. I will absolutely be back and recommend to everyone I know ! Thank you to the staff for everything ❤️

Loved my time here with Melissa. I had the buff and glo pedicure and sacred hour mani. Melissa was so sweet and professional and made me so relaxed I almost fell off to a blissful sleep. She was also very intuitive to whatever my needs whether it be reminding me to relax, helping me reposition , or helping me pick out the right color polish. I also really appreciated her assistance getting about the salon with wet nails and her escorting me to the lounge so I could purchase myself a latte for the drive home. The facility was very cleanly and the staff patient and helpful. I love that the facility encourages keeping the space quiet to allow healing and relaxation. Best place to unplug and enjoy some self care. I hope to be back to see Melissa soon! Simply can’t recommend it enough.

I had my experience on Christmas Eve, with Britain and with this being my first time, I was hesitant about being fully unclothed and so my daughter explained that in order to get the full experience it would be best although Britain advised that I could wear a paper thong. As it turned out I was very comfortable and the steam was amazing. To think all the dirt that was scrubbed off my body, and being congested, I give it a plus plus plus. I from Arizona and I look forward to going back and I cannot brag enough about this wonderful place. If your thinking about doing this, think no more. Just like the Nike slogan, Just Do It! You will not be sorry. My skin is like a baby ! Thanks again Britain

I love everything about this beautiful and peaceful space. From walking in the door, checking in and waiting in the lounge with a glass of lemon water, I felt relaxed and welcome. I received a 75 minute facial with Justine and she was wonderful! I nodded off a few times I was so calm and comfortable. My skin looks great and I love the natural products she used! I will be returning for a facial with Justine. Thank you!

Colleen is so amazing!! The BEST massages every time! Her energy is caring, healing, and kind from the moment you meet her! I don’t know what I’d do without her! I’ve gone to her atleast 8 times and they’ve always been incredible. I feel so amazing after and always feel a relief in my areas of pain. I feel renewed mentally, emotionally, and physically each time :) She is so truly such a gift! And the new space is absolutely beautiful!

My pedicure was good , can’t say it was fantastic. First of all got charged even before the service +20% tips which is kind of ridiculous. How do you even decide for me how much I will be satisfied with the service. Tips should be based on customers approval. Second of all the most weird got a phone call from my friend from another country who was calling to congratulate me with with special occasion and got aggressive reaction. So I hung up on my friend right away to sit in some kind of tranquil environment however since the pedicure lounge is next to reception area basically had to listen to all the customers as well as those who were going by me to the restroom. Not sure how tranquil is that kind of the area. And no more pedi/mani clients were there at the moment.

My experience at Sacred Hour was wonderful. Im surprised that anyone gave negative reviews.I had a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Maureen and it was one of the best Ive had. I had no problem with the amount of pressure - if anything, she could have gone lighter and it still would have fallen under deep tissue. If you want more pressure, just speak up. Maureen was very attentive and checked in with me periodically. Its usually difficult for me to relax, but the atmosphere here is serene and I felt completely at peace. All of the employees I encountered were pleasant and I will absolutely be going back.They do have some parking in the back, but street parking is readily available as well and I didnt have an issue finding a spot. The only other thing I will mention is that there were some noises throughout my massage. You can hear footsteps, doors, dogs barking, etc. I personally didnt have a problem with this, but I know it might bother some.

Danielle is an incredible technician and healer. She did a great job opening my shoulders after a recent injury. She understands the science of body muscles, but also has an astute intuitive gift. Five stars!

My signature facial with Sheena was heavenly! She worked miracles with my sensitive inflamed skin. I really appreciated all of her suggestions of different products to try. Sheena is incredibly talented and so kind too. Wish I lived near this spa so I could come see her more often!

The ambiance was extraordinary and my massage therapist was absolutely amazing. However, I was quite disappointed when I was asked to come early to enjoy a glass of champagne only not to enjoy, when I asked about it, I was told I can enjoy at the end of my service. At the end of my spa retreat, I checked out, paid for my services without being offered the promised champagne, I was so disappointed. I wanted to book an appointment for myself and my daughter, however, I changed my mind. If a customer is paying for a service and promised something, the company should come through period.

The service was incomplete and when I questioned this and the cost they replied with sorry we do the best that we can do with our time.  I scheduled accordingly to have the gel nail polish that was applied at Sacred Hour removed followed by the signature manicure.  The manicure was rushed and I did not receive the hand and arm massage that was part of the manicure.   The gel removal was scheduled for 15 minutes and it took 45 minutes to complete.  I stated that it was their product and that it was not my fault that it took three times as long as they scheduled me for.  They replied with they do with the best they can do but still felt it was just to charge me full price for incomplete work.  I had been in three weeks prior for a spa day and was planning on returning but will not now. The spa day was costly and felt slightly rushed. There are many other nice spas in Lakewood that are less pretentious. I would not recommend Sacred Hour to anyone.

Beautiful, relaxing space. I received a 90 minute glo facial with Andrea at the Lakewood location. She was amazing. Explained everything without talking too much so I could relax & had the perfect amount of pressure during massage. I came in with dry flaky winter skin & literally left glowing. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more frequently.

I’ve had a number of massages in my life. But Tabitha and Sacred Hour do an absolutely perfect job in setting the environment, creating comfort, and giving a high quality and professional massage. Other places great a sterile environment, making it feel like I’m getting a massage in a doctor’s office. Sacred Hour feels like an intimate space, almost like home, making it absolutely perfect for relaxing and releasing.Shout out to Sheena!!

Sacred hour is my favorite spa in all of Cleveland. I highly recommend visiting if you are looking to take some time away for yourself to relax. The staff are friendly, the decor is modern, prices are adorable and the place is very clean. I never had a massage until Sacred Hour and now nowhere else can compare.Only downside is the parking lot is small but there is always street parking available. Highly recommend!

I really love the entirety of the place as soon as you walk in the door.However, I felt like both the massage and facial I got were inadequate. The massage left me feeling unresolved, and the person who did my facial was really rough on my skin, and I felt like my skin didn’t improve or look better after. For the price, I’ve definitely had amazing massages/facials at Soothe in Rocky River so I was a little disappointed in trying out Sacred Hour considering how much more I’m spending.

Sacred hour in Lakewood is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The services are not going to be the lowest cost in the market, but you get what you pay for here. The first visit, my boyfriend and I spent ample time in the relaxation room prior to and after our couples massage. On our second visit, the room was not available due to renovations. We look forward to the renovations being complete so that room is available again, but it is worth coming either way. We have had a total of 4 different masseuses and enjoyed all of them. There is hot tea available for customers before and after the massage.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE! I have lived in Lakewood for a few years and with wedding planning have been so stressed. I needed a place to get a massage. Luckily this was close and I heard good things about it but let me tell you it was totally worth it.I did a 60 minute Swedish massage and from the moment I walked in it was quiet, peaceful, and I felt so relaxed. It put me in a great mindset to enjoy the massage I was going to be getting.I definitely will he going back!

Needed a massage and Sacred Hour was highly recommended. After an hour and half massage with Regina, I can now know why. She was very thorough and professional and responsive to more or less pressure as she provided the massage. The environment was relaxing, the right temperature, and clean. The entire staff was pleasant and will definitely be going back.

As beautiful as this place is and as nice as the girl was who did my nails, they did a truly unprofessional move to our group of 9. We had booked our spa day as a wedding weekend celebration and had booked at least a month in advance, been given prices and had our reservation set and were told any changes made had to be at least a week in advance. So we get there, again the place is beautiful and everything gets started. After the first set of girls started to be finished they were then told the prices had been changed the day BEFORE. We were never notified. So I myself paid almost 50 dollars for someone to cut my nails and paint my toenails. I get more done at my local nail place for less and a better job. Also after everything was done they told us not to wear socks or shoes for HOURS after since everything would still be tacky, again none of us were warned beforehand and we had given them exactly what everyone would be having done. The girl who did my toes was very nice. The establishment was soothing. The way the front desk went about everything was unprofessional. Why should we have to notify you of changes a week in advance but you wouldn’t have to notify a group of 9 in advance about changes in price no matter how big or small of a price change.

A friend recommended this place so I decided to give it a try when I was in town and let me say, WOW! Kat was my message therapist and I can say enough good things about her. I normally request a male because my experience is that they give a stronger, deeper massage, but this was the best massage of my life. I have my own personal anxieties when it comes to massage and feel that my legs need to be perfectly shaved and my body needs to not be something that they are going to be put off by. I had traveled in from out of town and havent shaved in a couple of days because I forgot my razor. She wouldnt even let me apologize for it. She made me feel so comfortable. It was like I was giving myself a massage... If myself had any clue what to do, lol. I live in Indianapolis and already have another massage booked with Kat for a couple weeks for a 2 hour appt. I absolutely do not mind driving the 5 hours to be able to come see her. I have a connective tissue disorder that causes quite a bit of pain and Im not always good about explaining what hurts where. She was able to find all of the sore spots that I had and work them out. I cant remember the last time that I felt so good. If you are on the fence at all make a reservation and specifically ask for Kat.

Sacred hour was awesome. Facility was very clean. Felt very safe. Therapists all wear masks. You have to keep your mask on during your treatment at this time for the therapist safety as well. Awesome experience. Highly recommend a body scrub!

Ive been ranting and raving about this spa since Ive been in over a month ago! The interior is beautiful and serene with a calming atmosphere, decorated with crystals and sage in every corner. Leading up to my appointment my work schedule got changed, and I called the spa in disappointment to cancel, but the wonderful lady who answered the phone did everything she could to find a time for me so I could still make it in. My boyfriend and I were offered champagne while we were waiting, and our masseuses were absolutely amazing. This is hands down the best spa Ive ever been to, and I definitely plan on making appointments here in the future!

I really wish I could give them 4.5/5 stars. Some of the complaints below I know they dont really have control over. I have been looking for a spa that would offer a 4-handed massage. i have been looking to try a 4-handed massage, so I decided to book Sacred Hour in Lakewood. I have absolutely no complaints other than that google maps does not know the exact address. It was a little aggravating to find the location. There is also absolutely no on-site parking. They have a tiny, 4-spot parking lot that was filled when I got there. The meter parking was all taken up because of construction. Once you walk into the spa though, it was an instant change in atmosphere and ambiance. Check-in and check-out process was quick and painless. They have an amazing lounge upstairs, offering tea, coffee, water and snacks while you wait. All I can tell you is if you ever have the means to try a 4-handed massage, so do so at least once in your life time! The experience alone was heavenly and left me in bliss. I have no complaints about the masseuses. Both were very professional and they had their techniques down packed. I know I am going to be sore the next couple of days, but I am so happy I treated my self! Thanks so much, Sacred Hour!

Came up to Lakewood for relaxation and Sacred House delivered! The staff was super friendly and helpful and they made the experience even better. I got a French mani, back cleanse, and facial. All the services were fantastic! Cant wait to go back.

The atmosphere of the spa is truly exceptional! From having a drink at Tribu to the calming therapy rooms - a delightful experience. Massages received have been delightful due to having found the right therapist!

Had a plain, regular pedicure. The cost was $65 plus 20% gratuity added and tax so the bill was over $88 for a basic pedicure. The person who did the pedicure was nice but the entire experience wasnt worth the cost.

Ive received one deep tissue massage and multiple facials from Sacred Hour in Lakewood and each time has been great! The ambiance is relaxing and very unique. Maureen was my esthatician for my facials, she came highly recommended. Based off my skin, Maureen recommended the SuperGlo facial. Its amazing! I highly recommend it. I look forward to my future appointments at Sacred Hour!

I have been going to Sacred Hour for over a year and havent been happy with them lately. I had scheduled a massage with the therapist I have been seeing once a month since last year. I got to my appointment to find out that the therapist I normally see wasnt in and put another therapist in place without giving me a call before hand to let me know or even ask if that was ok with me. All I got was a confirmation phone call which is typical of anywhere you make an appointment with. They already charged my card before the service and the receptionist acted like I had scheduled with the therapist that replaced the one I normally schedule with even though I have email confirmation from when I originally scheduled. Definitely was one of the worst customer experiences I have had and dont think I will go back.

I have been searching for a spa that has both an amazing atmosphere and massages. I’ve finally found it! As soon as you step inside the building you are instantly relaxed by all the modern and beautiful decor. The small touches of asking to take off your shoes as soon as you walk in, to the cozy lounge area covered in blankets and pillows made the experience luxurious. I had Kate who was very thorough in her technique. I’ve had painful massages in the past and she had the perfect pressure and was able to relax me- which is hard to do! I will be back! Recommending this spa to everyone I know.

I have been going to Sacred Hour for the past year and a half. I have has massages by a few massage therapists, (whom were very good) but once I received a massage by Stacy, and thats who has been my massage therapist since then (a little over a year) she is the absolute best! I am obsessed with the decor, literally want my entire home to look like this!!

I have gone to Sacred Massage multiple times over the past 4 years. The ambiance is relaxing but the service is less than adequate. My most recent experience involved booking an appointment a day or so beforehand for a specific time slot, 1 hour massage.They called and left a voicemail on my phone that this time slot was not available just 1 or 2 hours prior to my appointment. They never spoke with me personally and unbenounced to me moved my time up 30 minutes. I never received this voicemail informing me of this change, being that I was at work, and went straight from work to the appointment.When I arrived, 15 minutes early to my previously booked time, the massage therapist was very rushed and short with me. Only after she finished my massage 30 minutes early, and I informed her that I had booked a 1 hour slot, that she told me I was 15 minutes late to my appointment. I was very confused and realized only then that they had left a voicemail stating that they changed my appointment..When I explained this, there was absolutely no apology from the receptionist who had placed the call and the receptionist had absolutely no customer service skills. I work in patient care at the Cleveland Clinic. When there are mix ups, you apologize and you improve processes, no one took responsibility in this case. It should not be a policy to move someones 1 hour treatment without verbally confirming it and still charge them when you only provide 30 minutes of service. They should have at least told me at the time of my check in that my appointment had been changed and moved up, then I could have made the decision to reschedule. I will not be going back anytime soon.Aside from the miscommunication errors the massages were pretty average. I requested specific trouble areas (neck and shoulders) rather than a full body massage, and to have deep pressure. Pressure was very light/ medium and they did not focus on neck and shoulders any more than the rest of my back and legs which I did not need done.

Absolutely horrible here. Nails lasted 4 days and it was $45 for gel. Such a stuffy place. My friend and I were literally “sushed” by nail tech Alex. Who clearly didn’t want to be there. Also I didn’t understand their flow of things. They put us back in a room to sign a “massage” waiver for a manicure...? Whoever owns this place needs to hire new staff who actually know how to treat people. Only sweet person that worked there was Serena. Wouldn’t recommend this to any of my friends.

This is my first experience at this spa. I decided to visit to support my best friend, Racheal in her new position here and I was amazed. The outside of the building is absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. The parking situation is a little tight, but there is plenty of street parking. I walked in and was immediately greeted and taken care of very kindly. I LOVE that their COVID precautions are so serious and will tight it. Its easy for the client to come in, wash their hands, get their temperature checked and move into the spa for their appointment. The staff that I met was very kind. The entire inside of the building is calm, serene, gorgeous, and tranquil. I lived it. Would 10/10 recommend this spa and Racheal is amazing at deep tissue.

I have been coming to this place since the days they were located on Madison in Lakewood. Both the Rocky River location and Lakewood locations our outstanding. After finishing my half marathon I splurged on the four hand massage. Amazing! So unique to this place and I highly recommend giving it a try. Great service and therapists who really care.

My husband and I went for a couples massage on our anniversary. The ambiance is nice. The massages were great. The body scrub made our skin so soft. I will definitely schedule here again.

My husband and I booked a 60 minute couples massage. The massage itself was pretty good from both therapists who were very kind. The rest of the experience was not spa-like in any fashion. We walked in the door and my husband was asked immediately to go back outside in freezing temps so that another customer who was being escorted by an employee could come inside in front of him for her hand washing and temperature check. Even after she had left the room I asked the employee at the front desk if my husband could come in and he said not until I left the room due to Covid occupancy restrictions (he and I were the only two people in there when moments before there were three of us). It was very strange because he then tried to escort me to a tiny waiting room (perhaps the same size as the lobby if not smaller) with two other customers already sitting that I don’t live with, which made no sense in terms of protection against Covid spread. I looked at him in a very confused manner and he seemed to pick up on my vibe and ushered me upstairs to sit in a dark corner to wait on my husband. After our massage we were handed cups of hot tea and immediately sent out the back door, no lids on our cups. I guess we were supposed to drink it in our car? We recently moved to a new house and have been to fifteen different spas within the past year or so to check out the area and try to find one to call home. This spa was the only one that charged my card prior to receiving the service and also charged a mandatory gratuity. In addition, the services are definitely on the higher end that we’ve seen ($288 after their mandatory tip for a couples’ 60 minute CBD massage). We always tip well for service and found the whole experience to be a little unsettling. We do not plan on going back.

We came here for manicures and booked it because of the quality of the spa. The woman who did my nails said about 5 words to me. I don’t expect full on conversation the entire time, but she definitely wasn’t personable. She “shushed” my friend and I because we were started laughing during our manicure. She told us “ we needed to be quiet” and made it so uncomfortable the nail tech working on my friend seemed to see how bad we felt, and we felt the need to apologize, multiple times. No drink menus were offered, we needed to ask. If you want to go somewhere you want to relax and laugh with a friend and enjoy your time together, this definitely isn’t the place.EDIT. After that reply, I feel the need to again, say something. First, we did get drinks and Im not saying we didnt. Im saying we had to ask, nothing was offered. For you to say youve never sushed anyone- I hate to say it, again, but we were literally shushed by the nail tech. There is a difference between asking to politely keep it down for laughing and literally shushing someone, like happened to us which clearly you dont want to believe. So thank you for telling me Im lying. Also to add on, both of our gel manicures chipped within 5 days. Mine Saturday and the others on the following Tuesday (Since youve looked at my ticket you know were there on Thursday, so mine lasted 2 days). Basically, it wont matter if we dont go back because you have your other 25 thousand customers to rely on, but there is a way to be personable.

My favorite place to get a massage! The ambience right when you walk into the door is soothing. Every massage therapist has been amazing! You really get a sense of being taken care of and pampered. I great place to spend some time and forget about everything that you want to forget about.

Beautiful, quiet space, friendly staff. Scheduled a deep tissue massage, talked with therapist before massage about my preferences and was disappointed that the pressure was extremely light. I asked for more pressure, but nothing changed. I am not a big person, pretty easy to work on. Paid more for a deep tissue and received the gentlest pressure Ive ever had in a massage. The touch was almost imperceptible at times. I emailed the studio the same day regarding my concerns, but never heard back. I have been an licensed massage therapist for over 12 years; I know what I am talking about. Save your money and go elsewhere if you need anything more than lotion rubbed on your skin.

I just moved back to.thr area, and needed to find a good massage therapist. So I tried Sacred Hour twice now. I love the entire experience of Sacred Hour. From the peaceful calm when you walk in, to the amazing staff, I cant say enough about this amazing place. I highly recommend the fireside footrub and CBD Massage for alleviating pain, sureness and allover relief. This is my new massage place for sure!

One of the highest recommended massage places in all of Cleveland. I was extremely excited to surprise my wife and take her here for Valentines Day for a couples massage. Shes been under a lot of stress and kicking butt lately working out getting in shape and a professional deep tissue massage was just what the doctor ordered. This hubby was going to get bonus points this Valentines Day. I was really on my game this year, took the time and booked the reservation in early January, left my credit card on file to hold the appointment as it clearly states during booking and assured me was just to hold the reservation and no payment is at all required until the day of the appointment.Got a phone call one week later advising me that my original time of 2:45 wasnt available so theyd move it to the next available that day, 3:00 instead. No problem!Time goes on, fast forward to today, one week before my amazingly planned Valentines Day excursion. I get a phone call from a polite and pleasant employee informing me theyre calling to collect payment for the booked appointment plus gratuity today one week before per policy. Im taken aback by this. It clearly stated at time of reservation no prior deposit is required. My conversation ends with the employee telling me shed check with the owner and see if they could make an exception because I explained my funds are tight and I get paid the Friday before Valentines weekend hence why the original arrangement was why I booked in the first place. She agreed and said shed call me back. Phew! Crisis averted, or so I thought.An hour later she called informing me the owner refused to make an exception as this is policy and she would not deviate from said policy. My heart was breaking, my perfectly planned finale to Valentines Day weekend was crumbling. I pleaded with the girl to have the owner call me, stating Ive never had such a problem with another establishment during any holiday booking. She said she would call her one more time for me, I thanked her and hung up. Hopes crushed, praying the owner of this highly recommended establishment would have mercy on a thoughtful husband trying to make the day a little extra special.Hour later. Same employee calls back one more hour later. I can hear it in her voice, Im done for. The owner refuses to personally call me nor make any exception to her policy which is stated no where on the website, nor during the booking process or even brought up when I was rescheduled one week after the appointment was made. She proceeded to advise me the manager would allow me 24 hours to come up with the money or my appointment is cancelled. I reiterated I had no extra money to front this cost until I get paid on the 12th. She apologizes one last time and we hang up.Utterly disappointed. How can the owner of such a renowned and popularly recommended salon have such a cold heart on such a beautiful love filled day? Not to mention lack of customer service skills.Here I sit, one week before the day I had such big plans for. Crushed and heart broken with disappointment with no chance of redemption because I was only notified one week before of this requirement. You cant even book a nice restaurant a week out from Valentines Day let alone a well deserved day of pampered massage for the woman I love the most and wanted nothing more than to reward her for being my biggest inspiration and love of my life.Sincerely,Heartbroken

This is one of my favorite spas in Cleveland! An absolutely gorgeous place, with a great small wine bar at the Lakewood location. Go early to grab a glass of champagne and some delicious, simple appetizers before your services!

I had a two hour deep tissue massage with Nanette this morning and it was EVERYTHING. The ambiance of this spa is unparalleled to any other spa I’ve been to in the Canton/Akron area. I drive almost an hour to Sacred Hour because it is just that great. Highly recommend.

Went in for a Mani/Pedi. Lovely girl named Gabrielle took care of me. She was delightful and sweet. As one of my first times in a spa, she made me feel at ease and welcome, while doing amazing work. Very very happy, and will definitely be back!

Bad service at this place beats an extraordinary massage Ive had here. The front desk was rude and didnt even look up to say hello. I walked in practically staring at her waiting for my appointment and directions and she ignored me until a couple of minutes later when I sat down she finally gave me these slippers. I headed upstairs to my massage which was one of the best Ive ever had. Too bad everything else was not.I was also left feeling so confused and annoyed by the end of this experience. When I initially scheduled my appointment over the phone the lady told me they didnt except cash unless its the exact amount which I thought was super strange, but she then confirmed how much I would owe with tax so I brought that much plus tip to my appointment. When it was time for me to pay, the amount was $4 more so she miscalculated and I had to pay by my credit card instead which is frustrating since thats not the type of payment I chose. Even though this is the best massage Ive had I dont want to be treated like Im invisible especially since the reviews talks about great service makes me feel like I did something wrong and I will never be coming back.

Booked a 1:30pm couples massage online, which was suppose to be a surprise for my wife. They called me at 7:10pm and wanted to move the appointment to 1:00pm. They called back 3 minutes later to tell me they need to move my massage to 12:45. Thanks for ruining my wife’s birthday present! Definitely find another massage place! I’d probably use body and soul massotherapy in Berea after this. They definitely have their schedule well put together!

Incredible experience. Taking COVID-19 measures seriously without disruption to their services.From beginning to end it was a calming experience for a deep tissue massage. From the welcoming storefront and peaceful waiting room lobby to the wonderful massage itself.Great local business.

When checking out after my massage, they asked me for feedback at which point I shared that the service was very different than the previous services I received for the exact same massage. They then went on to argue with me and when I tried to reach the owner, they would only email me. I finally received an email from the operations manager explaining that I should not return.

Customer service is not their priority. Be careful about booking appointments here. If you have to cancel they have a very vague cancellation policy. My husband ended up with the flu and we called to cancel our pedicure and steam appointment with 38 hours notice. They tried to charge me the full amount saying they had a 48 hour cancellation policy. I would much rather spend my money at Stella and Shay in Lakewood.

The massage i got was great mary did an excellent job. i had some trouble paying with my card and ended paying cash no problem there but the next day i still have charge for the massage to my account i call to ask about it the receptionist is less than helpful and very vexing put me on hold to make an appointment for someone else then brushes me off and hangs up on me while im talking. never coming back here again.

I have had two signature facials with Justine. I can’t say enough good things about her - I will never book with anyone else. She makes you feel comfortable, is very knowledgable and just an overall kind person. I encourage you to book with her and recommend Sacred Hour to anyone!

This place is AMAZING. The atmosphere is so relaxing and very spa like. I love sitting in the upstairs room drinking the tea and waiting for the masseuse. Their regular nail polish comes of in 3-5 days . I was never informed that they offered a touch up service. Would have been nice to know. I reached out and only got excuses. Sacred Hour is not the best place for mani-pedis. Pick somewhere else like PJs spa that is professional and works to come with a resolution than putting it on the client as though they are to blame.

I had Grounding massage . I’ve never been that relaxed in my entire life . I’m highly recommending Rachel if you decide to get that (or any) service.

Have gotten massages there at least a dozen times, by numerous skilled clinicians with intuitive hands and a detailed approach to getting me out of pain and back to active lifestyle. Strongly endorse the therapists here for their consistent excellence.

I’ve gotten good massages here. My problem is with their business practices which are unethical. If you receive a receipt on an iphone or on any device running a Mac OS, make them print it out for you, or none of the “exceptions” to their services show up in the addendum under your transaction. They take full advantage of those addendums. Buyer beware. Or just go to Charles Scott.

I had a Swedish massage with Kathy and it was the best massage I have ever had. She found all problem areas and knew exactly how to work them out. I was really impressed!

One word....CLAUDIA. Her deep tissue massage was the best I have ever received in Cleveland. She really listened to my needs and delivered the perfect combination of therapeutic and relaxing.
