This was our first time to see an event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. And my brother and I were extremely happy with the entire facility.Everyone was extremely happy and made the entire experience that much better. As you can see we were there for the Sammy Hagar Best Of All Worlds Tour Concert and it was absolutely amazing. The sound system Sammy used was incredible and crystal clear that night. Im sure the Arenas Acoustics definitely helped. We had very good seats but from what it looks like theres truly not a bad seat in the building. It was very easy to get into the Arena, but the only problem was getting out. Only one way out and one way in, and when its time to leave, its definitely crazy with everyone going the same way out. ( Part of the Las Vegas experience I suppose lol )...But other than the leaving part it truly is a fantastic facility to see a Live event 😀👍👍
The concert was absolutely fabulous. The sound was awesome. However, communication by the venue was pathetic. The changed from Ticketmaster to AXS without telling us. It appears that we only had 1 ticket when we purchased 4. We were also told that they changed the numbering of sections (which I dont totally believe) and was further away than what we had originally. The WORST part of the night, how on GODS GREEN EARTH do you have 8 exit doors for 12K people. It took forever to get out because you have to be herded like cattle to exit.I wont be attending any shows at this venue EVER!!!!
As a WWE enthusiast, my recent visit to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for a WWE event was an unforgettable experience! The arenas layout provided excellent visibility from every seat, ensuring that every fan got a front-row feel to the electrifying action in the ring. The acoustics were spot-on, allowing the cheers, boos, and entrance themes to echo through the arena, creating an atmosphere that truly enhanced the spectacle. The MGM Grand Garden Arenas capacity to host large-scale events was evident as the crowd roared with excitement during every powerbomb, suplex, and finishing move. The production quality was top-notch, with the giant screens ensuring that even the most intricate details of the WWE games were visible to every fan in attendance. The convenience of the MGM Grand Garden Arenas location on the Strip, coupled with the well-organized event management, made the entire experience seamless. From purchasing tickets to finding my seat, everything was efficient, allowing me to focus on the thrilling WWE action. Whether youre a die-hard wrestling fan or a casual observer, catching a WWE event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena is a must. The energy, the drama, and the adrenaline rush are unparalleled. The arenas history and reputation as a premier venue for world-class events are well-deserved. While ticket prices can vary, the overall value for the experience is undeniable. If you have the opportunity to witness WWE games at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, dont miss it. Its a slam dunk, a pinfall, and a three-count rolled into one amazing spectacle!
MGM Grand Garden Arena – Nov. 25 (POSTED)Three of us attended the Still Raining concert on Nov. 25. We sat in row 1 of Section 1: the riser just behind and to the right of the sound mix stage. This meant peering around the slightly raised mix and the barrier behind it.The sound system was great; Rain’s vocals came in crystal clear. The venue isn’t so large that even seated where we were, it wasn’t that far to the stage so we got great views of Rain and the dancers.I liked the venue; being attached to the MGM Grand made it easy for us as we were staying in The Signature. The size of the arena meant that we could get good views of the stage even if we had seats further away. I would return to see other acts / groups.I can’t comment on ticket prices as it was a birthday present to me. We didn’t purchase any refreshments but we did stay to buy merchandise. That was well organized and I can’t fault the MGM GGA for the lack of merchandise; that’s on the show staff.
I didnt stay at the MGM but enjoyed an awesome concert and the casino. The concert at the Grand Garden Arena was so fun and they had plenty of concession stands to order food and drinks. The bathrooms were fairly clean. The casino was nice but one of the slot machines malfunctioned and wouldnt give me my ticket. I had to have security get a manager for me. They did well fixing the problem but I did wait almost 40 minutes waiting on them. The service button on the machine was broke too. All in all, I had a great time at MGM and would definitely go back to enjoy the casino, a concert or even there many shops and restaurants.
Good venue for seeing boxing. Polite staff from entry to usher. Concessions folks friendly. One issue is the lack of enforcement of prohibited actions in the arena. Security/staff is making a choice to look the other way - but I Kindly say, get it under control and it’ll be an even better environment. Raking in the dough probably means they won’t care 😆
Great show, great sound. Only knocking one star for the long line to get in. Get some more metal detectors if thats what youre planning to do. That went a little too slow. And we were in line at 7:15 for an 8pm show, its not like we got there last minute.Update from 2024: the metal detectors at security are much faster now, however getting out of there is a nightmare. They only opened the doors to the casino and its a cluster you know what to get out.
The MGM Grand Garden Arena was truly the most beautiful casino I have ever visited in Las Vegas.I wanted to go sightseeing during my brothers boxing event while in Las Vegas. While I was walking on the main strip in Las Vegas, I walked pass the MGM Grand Arena.Even though I was staying at another world-class casino in Las Vegas, I was treated with so much kindness as a guest. One of MGM Grand Arena staff member gave me a tour of this breathtaking resort and casino.I decide to have lunch at the MGM Grand Restaurant before walking back to my hotel Resort to meet up with my brother before his fight. The food was cooked to perfection; and the service was above and beyond. And the entire MGM Grand Arena was spotless; it was beyond beautiful it was like a fairy tale.I hope a million visitors will stay and enjoy the most beautiful casino in the world
Shout out to the worker who was working the floor sections on 5/17/24 Melanie Martinez event I believe he was African American and had black circular glasses HE WAS AMAZING!!! really helped make our experience in Vegas for the concert the best ever super professional and great people person.
Latin Grammy Award winner Pepe Aguilar gave concert goers an amazing show filled with great music, memorable performances and colorful visual displays. Beautiful horses circled the interior, one ridden by Pepe and the other two by Pepe’s son Leonardo and daughter Angela. The concert was filled with unexpected twists & turns, especially, when a rodeo involving cowboys from the United States and Mexico took center stage and attempted to ride bulls. I came for a concert but was treated to a show that would rival a Las Vegas production. If I had to describe my experience, I’d say it was a little cirque du Soleil, mixed in with a little medieval times, accompanied with great music. This was my first time seeing Pepe in concert and it definitely won’t be my last. He is an amazing entertainer who possesses great stage presence and has a welcoming and energetic personality. Should you ever have a chance to see him in concert, I recommend you do.
I would have ranked this higher if the next week I didnt go to T Mobile arena. I would have said this was a decently priced, nice auditorium style place where I have been to many times for graduations. But after going to the t mobile arena...I would say now ; hard seats, very small seating, dirty and sticky. Sound was okay. I cant get over how your knees are someone’s headrest. Needs serious upgrading. I would rethink going to a concert now here because T mobile arena was just soooooo much better
The rodeo was fantastic!! No matter where you sit, you will have a great view. Only reason not giving 5 stars, is the cost of concessions. 11 for a hotdog? 5 for a bottle of water? Little much but if u eat before you go, you will be good. Great place to sit back and enjoy shows. Would definitely go back.
They genuinely need to consider more than one exit. I understand one entrance when youre paying to get in and need to get tickets etc. But one exit was absolutely chaotic. Should also consider placing merch tables away from the main entrance so its not clogging up people coming in.
This venue sucks for concerts in my opinion. I went to one over the weekend and will not go back for any event. The stage is very small with not much room for the artists to work with. The venue itself is annoying to navigate through as well with everyone packed in so close.
The Eagles bought their last show of the Hotel California Tour 2022 back to the MGM Grand Garden Arena where it started in 2019. Don Henley came out and said the band is here to take you on a 3 hour vacation from your life. They play the classic Hotel California album in its entirety. Then the show included hit after hit. Joe Walsh, Timothy B Schmit and Vince Gill are such talented musicians and the harmonies incredible. The whole experience at MGM Grand Garden Arena were magical.
This arena is alright for the most part. Even if youre in the highest seats, you can still see the acts on stage pretty well and that says a lot (especially for concert goers like me) but there was no cup holders in the arena so that was unfortunate. The seats are comfortable enough to sit in for a while and aisles are big enough to accommodate a rush. Speakers worked really well and it was an overall great concert and view from where I was at. One of the best places to see a concert in my opinion.
This was literally one of the worst run venues I have ever been to, and I wouldnt say that without due cause. The security detail and staffing were abysmal, and that may not be on the arena itself, but the promoters had a responsibility to provide a safe and secure concert space and they failed in multiple ways and multiple times. We were there for all four nights, on the floor. Entering the arena on Thursday night, we could tell that it was going to be problematic at best. Prior to the pandemonium that was the crowd trying to get into the arena, they had offered to wristband attendees who could provide proof of vaccination. The other option was to show your negative Covid test at the door. It turned out that neither mattered, as they started handing out wristbands at the gate so that people could get in regardless of their tests or vaccination status. It also turned out that the staff only required attendees with negative tests to provide proof on the first night, so anyone who continued to attend shows the rest of the weekend was never asked to provide proof of health after that initial check (for the record, my wife and I were triple vaxxed). That may explain why this series of shows has recently been referred to by the Boston Globe as a super-spreader event (along with the fact that NO ONE masked). Once we got into the venue, we realized that there was only one way in and one way out of the floor, and if you went to the left side or front of the floor area, you were essentially stuck there until the set break, when 5000 people filed out to use one set of bathrooms. The mayhem peaked on Saturday night, when a group of fans rushed the front gate and we ended being shepherded into a 2.5 hour line, despite being there almost an hour before the show was scheduled to start AND taking into account that the band always starts 30-45 minutes after the start time. We missed the first song and most of the second, just trying to enter. When we did eventually enter on Saturday night, the floor was packed so full that we were literally pushed by a security guard into the throng and could hardly breathe, let alone move. We saw multiple fights break out, as well as people passing out. There was no way to mitigate those situations other than self-imposed crowd control and bodysurfing people out. Keep in mind, this is a Phish concert, not Slipknot. Ive been in the pits, this was worse. While the music was able to rise above the venue, we determined that we would not attend another show here without serious modifications to the security and safety of the building, particularly after the tragedy that occurred two weeks later at Astroworld.
The Grand Garden Arena has played host to hundreds of events in its 29 years of existence, from spectacular concerts, championship fights, premier sports action and special events. We went to Andrea Bocelli concert and it was just amazing. You must be aware that before big concerts all the streets around the arena would be closed and it is better to take an Uber instead of coming by car.
Their security is a joke and cannot support those with autism or any type of disability because they think that they are club bouncers. We reported the couple behind us, threatening us and their security team did nothing to prevent it and while we were being attacked, they were nowhere to be found. We had to rely on the public around us to get men off of us.If you suffer from any type of disabilities such as anxiety, autism, etc. do not attend a concert here. They’re not equipped to protect and serve you.
The 100th Championship Fight Night was Amazing. The MGM Grand Arena had everything to enjoy the night. There was a gallery of past championship fights that was interactive and the atmosphere was awesome. Tank Davis vs Frank Martin headlined the night and it was historical.
We went to see Pepe Aguilar in concert. The concert itself was amazing and worth every penny. My rating is not based on the quality of the concert but the lack of access for the elderly/disabled. There was no drop off close by as the streets surrounding the venue were closed/blocked. The parking structure was about a block away and on a bit of a hill which can be difficult for the elderly/disabled.
First time here to watch AEW collision and Double or Nothing event. One little problem I had, is people vaping inside the arena. Im pretty sure those are illegal substances that they decided to sneak in and vape inside.
Setting aside the abysmal exiting policy that slows down everyone attempting to leave after a show The MGM Grand Garden Arena remains an iconic venue that gets it right in terms of sound. As the smallest arena on Pearl Jams 2024 Dark Matter Tour prices were typical for Las Vegas but the guys put on two stellar nights of music including 26 songs on Thursday the 16th and 25 more on Saturday the 18th. Everything sounded great and visuals were also on point. Far better than T-mobile in terms of acoustics, though flow and merchandise could use some work.
What a great spot! Ive attended a conference in Vegas at the MGM Grand hotel and we had a few sessions and the closing party at the Garden arena. Everything was absolutely perfect! Was absolutely impressed with the quality of the sound of the setting and the way they handled more than 10k people. Really impressive! Definitely a great arena!
To start this review off, Theory sucks. The atmosphere was magnanimous, WWEs Money in the Bank felt right at home here in the MGM, an enthused crowd, seats arranged so that even the farthest ones felt close to the action. Not even Austin Theory winning the money in the bank could ruin my night. Also, Liv Morgan and the Usos rock. Everyone in the mens mitb match too, except for Theory. Screw Theory
Bocelli Family Christmas📍MGM Grand Garden Arena | Las Vegas, NV#REMARKABLE #MAGNIFICIENT #PRICELESS #INCREDIBLEThe Greatest Voice of All Time @andreabocelliofficial had a very emotional and unbelievable performance with his family @matteobocelli and daughter Virginia Bocelli. This concert left the audience speechless and many in tears with the beautiful performance with his family ❤❤❤THE BEST PERFORMANCEThe concert deserves 5 stars but the fact that MGM Security kept threatening to remove people from the concert if they took a photo was incredibly terrible, especially after paying nearly $2,000 for tickets. I give the staff 0 Stars and Bocelli 10 stars! His performance turned around what couldve been a bad experience.@food_explore_travel_adventure
I went to a WWE event here I actually enjoyed myself. The seats were easy to find and because the arena isnt as large as say The Allegiant Stadium (which the WWE failed to fill so they moved it here) every seat was a decent seat. Be warned tho. This venue is cashless, meaning they DO NOT take cash. Cards Only. Other than that all the staff I encountered was polite and professional. parking is located on the MGM Casino property, however expect to pay separate prices for events than just visiting.
MGM Grand Garden Arena is a huge venue. We saw Slipknot & the band sounded amazing, the sound quality was so much better than when we saw Misfits. Danzig sounded like s*** in this arena , I thought it was the sound system but it wasnt. Overall great experience great place to see bands. Have seen Kiss, Aerosmith, Blink 182, and Green Day here before, all phenomenal shows 👍😀
Theres only three reasons to ever come to the MGM Grand Garden Arena: (1) boxing fights, (2) UFC fights, or (3) concerts. Its off the beaten path but thats a good thing. The arena itself is pretty much designed as one giant bowl, so sightlines are pretty good even if youre far back. The seats are all plastic from what I was able to see, but at least both the seat and back folded up together so it gave more room when people had to pass by.Entering was a breeze. Exiting was a breeze. Mind you, the venue at maximum capacity is around 17k and it was about half that for the event I attended.Workers here were extremely polite.Bathrooms were huge (no lines) and clean. No lines at the concession stands on the night we went either. They allow you to walk in drink in-hand and have a table set up outside with plastic cups for you to pour your drink into and a trash can to dispose of the bottle (no bottles allowed). When leaving, I would HIGHLY recommend taking the monorail. Its just outside the entrance to the arena and hardly anyone rode it to get out of the MGM after the fight. We got to Paris to have dinner 15 mins after leaving the arena. Also, re-entry is allowed. You just have to make sure they scan your ticket when leaving.
The parking was atrocious in all aspects and some of the employees were rude but the concert itself was awesome
Had a great time here. Went to see Jimmy Buffett at the end of 2019 right before the whole pandemic thing. Had a blast. Easy to get in and out. We were less than ten rows from the stage and it was a magnificent show. Easy to go in and out to get drinks as well and everyone working the event was really friendly.
Always crazy, like livestock loading up, we filed into the arena. There was plenty of direction from staff and plenty of beverage vendors inside to handle the initial crush of concert goers. There is plenty of signage and our seats were good. We enjoyed a margarita with an extra shot for $21. The Bob Seger concert was awesome! The sound was clear and the crowd...well behaved. Much like our arrival, like cattle we exited, which seemed a bit more chaotic as there were a couple options for exiting, but you werent really sure where on the outside you would end up. Its my 3rd concert here, and most certainly, I will return.
Amazing place with great location and lots of fun around the Arena
We came here for a graduation. However because of the ticket limit we waited for our graduate Titilua and outside in the parking lot to receive the graduates at the end of graduation. We decided to valet which was initially a good option but because of the number of people there for graduation and staying at the hotel it took us about half an hour to 45 minutes to retrieve our vehicle from valet. It is beautiful walking through the MGM and they had a food court and other attractions inside for those who didnt want to gamble. However some of them were already closed due to the time.
The Grand Arena where our event was held was very spacious and lots of seats. Loved the staff as they handled large crowds diligently and effectively. Hands up for you guys!!!!! My only problem the screens to see the stage were a bit to far for me so when we were sitting all the way up I couldnt really see. I had to really zoom in to see. Overall my Company did an awesome job on picking this event space.
I was a little confused when the rideshare app said lower level self parking. It actually is rideshare and uber pick up. Both the same thing.
Even high up, you can still see ( ex. Boxing) clear enough. Holds so many people that it is difficult to get in and out of the Arena, or to order snacks. The seats are tiny and you are pressed against strangers and we were all skinny, cant imagine how a bigger person would fit in only 1 seat. Plus if someone in the row needs to go buy something or use the RR everyone in the row needs to stand up to let them out since the knees touch the following seat back next row.
#celebrate2021 for Paparazzi $5 jewelry. We had a good time for the most part except when leaving the arena. There should have been more exit options for the size of the crowd that was there. They were all over it with staying masked 😷 as much as they could but, social distancing was not in play. Thank MGM for hosting us. Also, needed to be a little more handicap ♿ accessible. Long scooter lines for the one elevator 🛗. Loved having access to the monorail too. Loves the multiple pools as well.
This event space is awful for sporting events. The seats are hard plastic and so incredibly uncomfortable plus they have the air conditioning turned up so high they freeze the fans.
A very good Arena but if you are handicapped or in a wheelchair do not go especially if it is a concert. Very outdated and hardly ada acceptable. The moment the concert starts everybody stands up and if you are sitting down the entire concert all youre looking at are peoples backs. If you must go try and talk to guest services and they may move you to the floor if its available... Much better for concerts
Super chill theater I can honestly say it was a smooth experience. The only hiccup I was say is how far the walk is from the garage to the arena! It’s kind of far because it’s the shared Parking with the MGM Grand Casino. The drinks are the prices I expect in vegas. There was normal arena food as well. I feel like the ticket prices were fair and so were the seats which were good. I was happy that the digital tickets worked so smoothly. Be aware of Event parking prices.
Saw The Eagles here on Oct 5th! What a great show, and the grand garden arena delivered! With street tacos INSIDE the venue and easy in & out access for smokers, awesome lighting and sound and excellent views from every seat in the arena. Concession stands & cocktails were outrageously priced, but that is normal for any venue on the strip.
The show was great, but there was a bit of miscommunication between band security and arena security. The lines (that were organized and honored by band staff/ security) were disregarded by arena staff/ security leading to a lot of upset patrons. But they did let the ga line stay inside the night before the show and hang out in the food court the day of. More communication is needed, but overall it still worked out
I visited this arena in 2019 when I went to see Iron Maiden perform on their Legacy of the Beast tour, which was pretty special for me. This was not only the first Iron Maiden show I had ever seen, but it was the first ever concert I ever saw, and I really enjoyed it. The arena is great. It is not the biggest arena in Vegas, but it is a great venue. The seat I purchased was the cheapest nosebleed seat possible, but I still had a great view of the show on stage. The seats were comfortable enough for a stadium/arena seat. The sound system is excellent, as well as the lighting. The staff was super helpful and friendly and I felt that the security staff did a great job of keeping everyone safe. Overall, this is a great venue for concerts.
This place is amazing..Great shops, and restaurants. Theres a food court too..
Too big. Had expensive seats considering how far we were from the stage. Sound was good. Needs maintenance, bathrooms beat up. Our seats were really uncomfortable and the whole row of seats were loose and rocked back. After a show the night before at the Venetian theater this was a disappointment. The concert, however, (Jimmy Buffett) was excellent.
A nice small arena, perfect for concerts. However, the seats are probably the most uncomfortable and cramped Ive ever experienced at any event, and Ive been to alot of concerts. Also, the seating is numbered weird. It was difficult to find our seats and I noticed other concert goers experiencing similar issues. Overall, not bad!
Set up for stagehand services was easy, security was tight and access to loading docs and dumpsters was the best. Big flat cement floor with riser seating that tucks away on wheels for a massive stage area.
Was there for a conference and the closing keynote. There was no assigned seating for my event but the staff on hand were helpful in directing you to the various seating options. My colleagues and I sat on one of the upper tiers. The bench seating was comfortable and there was a ledge for drinks etc. The view of the stage was unobstructed which didnt matter as our event was also put up on two huge screens. Easy to access and exiting with so many people at once was relatively easy.
Always light in the room!! Thin white cover turns neon green because of the building lighting at night. Couldnt sleep in the day because the window cover was thin and the room was light, couldnt sleep at night because there was a neon light for a window. NOT TO MENTION, the first morning I wake up and as i take a shower, THE WATER TURNS OFF as Im full of soap!! Hair, body everything! Called and waited on hold for 20 minutes latheres in soap to hear there would be no water for 40 more minutes. I was so mad...I still itch and and tired from not being able to get any rest. Its actually a nice place to go. I just wont stay again, and I fly in every month...Will Romero#dissapointed#dontrecommend
Well, the rearranged the seating for the Eagles concert, so our seats were farther away from the stage. They added in seats between two sections which moved us back. Never let anyone know anout the changes, so the band members looked like bugs from our seats. Concert was fantastic as always.
This venue is not Active Military friendly, the ventilation was so poor that we were forced to leave, in fear that our 18 yr old Son would return from his a military leave and fail his drug test. We have worked and attended more than 50 indoor and outdoor concerts, and it was sad that we weren’t able to share this concert with our son as a homecoming gift; SORRY MGM and SLIPKNOT You both failed to think about our men and women who risk their lives to protect us… maybe next time you book this in a outdoor venue…P.s. ALL the staff were amazing and wished they could let him watch the show on the TV screen in another area, we appreciated the sentiment.Mom & Dad’s big surprise was a big disappointment.
I was there for a 2 day basketball tournament. The floor seating was excellent. Purchased refillable cup option because bar staff said the cups could be used for both days, however, some door staff would not let cups come in next day. Bar manager remembered us and apologized and honored the deal at her bar...heard other bar manager would not.
Masks are not required. All the seats are pretty good. The concession prices are quite a bit higher than in the casino, and you cannot bring in drinks from the casino. So, you may want to have you drinks before entering. They did allow you to leave and reenter.
This huge arena can fit many people and allows a great view of the stage. If you get stuck way up to there are plenty of large screens to ensure everyone can see what’s occurring on stage. The entertainment planned for my companies convention was extraordinary! I would give this place more stars if google allowed me to!
This review is for security staff. We went to the concert tonight and security guy told me we can’t take the backpack with us, I asked if we can put it in the front like all of other museums allowed to, they said no. Especially their manager was extremely rude, he said we have to leave or throw our backpack to the trash can. The security guy also throw my chocolate without my permission. If they don’t let you take anything into building, they should set up a locker close to the entry, not in another 10-minute-walk building ok? I can’t believe such a famous hotel hired so many rude security staff, you should do professional training before letting them work, we paid for the show tickets, not for your employees throwing our valuables.
Went to a graduation ceremony. The parking situation was a complete cluster !@#$. There were no signs saying that flowers and purses were not allowed during the walk to the arena. Once we arrived at the main entrance to the arena they said we cannot have purses and flowers. So we had to walk all the way back to the car....Once we get seated in the arena we see a bunch of people with flowers and purses. And they made us through away our water bottles, without having any vendors open inside. I have been to other high school graduations, the Thomas And Mac arena is better at running the entire event. The best venue for a graduation that Ive ever been to was at The Orleans Arena. Easy parking and the staff was friendlier. Long story short if you have to go to the MGM for anything, I highly recommend parking at an adjacent hotel and walking.
The arena is pretty old. There is not much room to move once you get to your seat. I went there with a handicapped person and our seats had to be changed since there was no way to get to our seats with the wheelchair. They were nice enough to change our seats to more accessible seats, but she had to get up from her chair & we had other patrons help us get to our seats. Other than that, we enjoyed the concert, parking was a bit though. And getting to the parking lot was an odissey.
Had a great time at the JONAS BROTHERS concert. Security was quick. Good venue. Wish the seats had cup holders and were a bit more comfy. Plenty of overpriced concessions. Good staff and strong sound. Would attend again. Arena at Eastern end of hotel so decent walk.
Let’s just face the fact. That this place went down hill the moment khabib said he would never fight here again. The Middle Eastern venues have taken over in regards to the boxing and mma side.
Had a business convention, and found the seating to be somewhat uncomfortable. Had to attend 2 different sessions in this arena, and the second time was unsatisfied with not having more bar areas open at the same time. We had over 14,000 people and it took forever to get through food and drink lines because of only having 1 or 2 available bar stations open at one time. The people were standing there available to open more, but were not allowed. 😔
This arena is easily the worst run arena in the world. The one star required by google is incredible generous. We have been standing in line for over 30 minutes no movement and the event starts in 30 minutes. They told the ticket takers to hold and are refusing to resume citing security delays. You say doors open at 3 that means 3. Fire all staff and demolish this horrible @#*% hole! You couldn’t pay me to attend an event here again. I deserve to be refunded at this point.
-Venue floors- Just saw Andrea Bocelli MGM Grand Garden Arena on December 7, 2019. Although the show was excellent, the venue is another story. Had not been at the venue for about 4 or 5 years and was extremely disappointed in how dirty the floors were. We heard many people complaining about how sticky the floors were, with good reason. While sitting in our seats, our shoes stuck on the floor which meant every time we wanted to shift, we had to make sure our shoes didnt come off our feet and this is not an exaggeration.- View- if youre sitting side view section 216 area, be aware that a lot of the screens are partially obstructed because of equipment hanging from the ceiling. Its not like they are cheap seats.. they still cost over $150 each.- Egress- Not sure why we were not allowed to exit through the various side doors once the show was over. There was very clear signage showing that you could get to the parking garage by exiting out variety of doors but there were security people standing there telling us we could not do so. As a result, it took almost 30 minutes to get out of the venue because everybody gets funneled through the same relatively narrow entry to the venue. Not sure if thats normal but it certainly is not efficient. They should take some lessons from T-Mobile Arena when it comes to emptying the venue after a show.
Its a very long walk through a myriad of fast food stores and tourist type shops to the end of the hallway were suddenly the security check point is...Theres at least 12 walk thruMetal detectors and security personnel with wands, scanning folks as they enter the venue. Security was fast and thorough.I felt safe attending the concert.Once inside the sound was crisp and clean,Without any reverberations, common at older venues....the big screen behind the stage wasExcellent quality. Clearly showing the performances....I was sitting in Section 1.Row J. Across the Arena and equal height of the stage...May I suggest that you bring yourBinoculars, unless you sit in the front half of the Arena. In that case you wont need anyHelp seeing the stage. Any seating in the upper deck will need binoculars....but the sound is excellent...
The layout of the Garden Arena was impressive. However, we had temporary metal folding chairs for our floor seats. VERY disappointing & uncomfortable. The entire row of seats is connected & doesnt allow for large, overweight people. My mom & I sat next to 2 of them. This was our first visit to the Garden Arena & frankly expected more for our money. MGM, you can & should do much better!! Customers paying premium prices DESERVE better!
Great venue, Pearl Jam rocked.
Just ok, I went for the first time recently and 1 female for security told me my purse was too big to come in. Others security was ok with it. I never received anything specifying purse sizes. Why trying to call my ride to pick me up, I then saw multiple females going in with all size purses while I waited. Then I was let in. I would’ve missed the concert because of that one female who ultimately changed the rules. Not sure the real reason behind it all. I had a small MK backpack purse. The Arena was too dark to see well and the staff directed me to the wrong side and I had to inconvenience a few concert goers before finding my seat. This could have been avoided if I had not been held up outside an hour before the concert started.
Line to get into utopia tour was atrocious and not organized as well. Half the people were at the wrong entrance ( could have been a user issue)
Definitely a fun experience. Traffic and flow control was a little difficult at times, and the metal detector staff didnt get the memo that tickets were picked-up after we crossed the checkpoint, but aside from that, the catering staff had great snacks, and the lounge had some fun memorabilia. Great show, and a really nice crew.
Im sure this is a good venue for sporting events, but it is not a great place to see concerts, especially when the set the stage at one end (like it was last night for Andrea Bocelli), rather than the middle - the seats are so far away that even the giant TV screens appear small. The acoustics were better than most sports arenas but not great.
Line moved fast thru security and plenty of food and drink vendors open. bathrooms were super clean which is amazing since it was a sold out show, staff had great attitude and worked their butts off to keep every thing smooth.
Outstanding venue. Saw Jimmy Buffett there and was impressed. Sound quality was excellent. The seating was comfortable and views were unobstructed. The entry process was thorough and I felt secure with the checks. My only concern was the exit of the facility. Appears as though there is only one exit which they heard all the people through and if there was an emergency the safe evacuation of event goers would be near impossible which is unacceptable in todays safety conscious environment.
Visited the venue for the Chris Paul HBCU Classic. Was a nice set up, the only negative was the stadium seating. Being over 6 ft, leg room is a must. Leg room was very cramped
Staff was friendly and helpful, but the arena itself is dated. Having been to T Mobile where the seats are tiered and the stage higher, the only advantage MGM has is that there is a little more leg room. You cant see the band from the floor, even seated. Thankfully, they showed them in the screens behind them. Sound was good.
This arena is huge! Lots of seating..even for the disabled. They have areas in each section just for scooters & walkers. The staff was friendly & helpful. The sound was bananas! They have huge screens on all sides of arena so you can still see the show even if youre sitting far away.
The best venue for seating, bathrooms and concessions. Crowds had a harder time moving through the exits in a timely manner. Took us 20-30 minutes to leave . Take a walker if you have difficulty and tag it. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The concert we saw was awesome! The security staff were friendly & did a great job. The seating was kind of wobbly & stuck in the down position. When we stood up we had to bump the seats up. The guests sitting next to us did too. I liked how small the venue seemd, compared to T‐mobile.
MGM Grand was a beautiful experience. We were at a BTS Live Play show held in the Garden Arena. Entrance to our seat was organized and such a stress free time. Clean areas, not clouded with smoke like other casino/hotels I have stayed at friendly/helpful staff etc. I definitely would love to return and get the full experience of staying there.
Nice clean venue for graduation, but an ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE trying to leave the parking garage. Youd think it would be a little more organized with them knowing they had so many graduations. I waited - no joke- an hour to get out of my parking spot alone. Horrible horrible horrible!
Huge arena in Las Vegas. Possible to have larger concerts etc. Ive seen Pink, Chainsmokers, One Republic etc in the arena. The employees are also very customer oriented and the setup when it comes to bars and food works every time
Food places need to be better staffed for large concerts. Bar lines were terrible, as well as mall food areas, and restaurants. They were clearly understaffed for a sold out show. Line up procedure could be better, as line was split and sent outside in a different direction. Clear line directions on venue tickets would be better. Sound and visual was excellent. Staff was overwhelmed but, friendly. Also, thought ticket prices for high seats were 70.00 I think 50.00 is more appropriate.
Had our Paparazzi Celebrate 2021 Convention there. It is a huge spacious area with lots of entrances, great lighting and awesome acoustics. Lots of oversized screens at various angles around the arena. Loved the experience❤❤❤
Getting in and out of the arena wasnt too rough, but its hard to get to if youre walking in off the strip. The people working there were nice and helpful. The seats, however, are incredibly uncomfortable and the floor was so sticky I saw one person lose their shoe. Ive been more comfortable at shows in my small town arena. Pretty disappointing for the arena that attracts all the biggest shows
Security process is very smooth. They manage such a large venue very well. The seats, however, are very uncomfortable, especially for my tall husband. Weve sat in the folding chairs set up on the floor seating as well as in the stands, and both are equally tight and uncomfortable. The show was great though. Loved all the lighting, special effects, and sound was good.
