Laurel is absolutely amazing! She was very comfortable to be around and was willing to do either a more silent or chatty appointment based on how I was feeling. Bryce was also extremely nice and helpful when I first came in!

April has been the best massage therapist! Always kind and helpful at each visit. She truly cares for her clients recovery and we appreciate her dedication to providing excellent service. I’ve been coming for several years now and I love the convenience of being able to schedule on short notice. But I do regular scheduled massage with Mike he’s the best.He always finds the tension and keeps me active by eliminating it.

Nicole was amazing. She listened to the areas I was having problems with and worked on those while also working on knots in other parts of my body. I asked for firm pressure and she did a wonderful job.

Ive been getting massages off and on since 1998, and the massage I had from Holly yesterday (focusing on back and shoulders) was one of the best Ive ever had. The thing about Holly is that she really listens to your needs and takes them into account. Plus, shes super professional and friendly. If I could give her six stars, I would.

A massage by Steven at the Massage Envy located at the corner of Nicholasville Rd and Man-O-War Blvd is the highlight of my month (twice a month actually!). He is experienced and professional. He listens to your concerns, asks questions as appropriate in order to provide you the Massage of your expectations. The facility is clean and well maintained. The reception staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with Steven and Massage Envy!

Excellent massage, Jamie worked out a lot of really tight spots. I was a tiny bit sore the next day, but it is exactly what my muscles needed. Very therapeutic.

I’ve seen several massage therapists at massage envy and I’ve like all of them. Recently, had Steven as my therapist. He’s very grounded and there’s a calmness that’s centering. Almost reiki like. But very much a massage. I was so calm and relaxed that fell asleep.

The spa provides a professional and relaxing atmosphere for a menu of services. Staff are courteous, helpful and welcoming. An extensive line of take home products are available. Facial experiences are fantastic, leaving you relaxed and glowing.The best part about Massage Envy is the professionalism of each and every therapist.

Upgraded using 2 prepaid for oxygenating facial which when questioned was the 1 hr timeframe but was only 35 minutes!! Really believe this was not a good value from custom facials in the past! Not recommended! Just the service provided was very disappointing !

Requested a firm massage. Instead I got a 2 fingers pointing into my neck that left me with a kinked neck. When I asked for more of a 2 regular handed massage I received a 40 minute lotion application. It’s hard to keep critiquing when you’re lying there naked. Steven is not your guy.

The facility is very nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff were friendly and my massage therapist, Laurel, was very nice. I do prefer more pressure and muscle stimulation with my massage. I requested firm pressure when booking, but it was what I consider light/medium. Was disappointed that an hour massage is really only 50 minutes here, so it felt like it was over quickly. When you pay that kind of money for an hour, you want your full time. They should build in their cleanup around their time, not mine.

Oh my stars, let me just say, Mike is a gifted healer. I’m dealing with Breast Cancer and can only lay on my back for my sessions. He has never touched my actual back but the way he manipulates my extremities, he loosens everything from the top of my head to my toes. I am so grateful for the way Mike has helped me as I’m healing and heading into the next step for treatment. He has an excellent bedside manner and is so kind and so patient with my restrictions. He is my favorite provider.

I have been going to Jamie for a while and he is still as amazing as the first time I met him. The first few minutes, he still checks in with me to see where my target areas are and to see how I am doing!!! Every time is an amazing experience and I see him monthly! He is the absolute BEST!!!

I have been seeing Sherry for years on average once a month to get deep tissue massage and it makes a huge difference since I exercise daily. She always asks what I need and adjusts her approach accordingly. She has a great personality and does high quality work. I highly recommend her!

Had a wonderful experience at massage Envy with Kyla. Her techniques are the best I’ve seen. I suffer from a chronic muscular pain condition and she is who I go to see for relief. I’ve been a client of massage envy for about 5-6 years now and while all the therapists are professional and experienced, Kyla offers a style of massage therapy that far exceeds anyone I’ve ever seen. She listens very carefully to my needs and concerns. She takes detailed notes so that if it’s been a long while since my last massage, she can easily educate herself on my custom needs. I actually feel relief during the massage. I feel my muscles begin to loosen and my knots/trigger points begin to weaken. Most therapist easily skip over those parts but I will never get real relief if they do. Kyla is incredibly through and has a good hand for my muscle knots, trigger points, and overall tension. She reminds me just how much of a difference massage therapy can offer someone with a chronic muscular pain condition. These massages aren’t just for relaxing, they allow me to continue to function with reduced pain. I can’t wait for my next session.

Mike gives a different massage every time- meaning he pays attention to what is needed instead of a set routine massage. He is strong and patient to get those stubborn knots out!

Ive called several times over 2 days, why does no one ANSWER THE PHONE!!?? It goes to voicemail every time. Is it time to end my years long subscription to ME because of this?Edit - as a reply to the response from the owner - I will not reach out via an online portal. I tried calling several times and you had no interest in answering over several days. I will just be using my remaining credits and ending my subscription with ME. if I wanted to use an online portal I would not have used the telephone in the first place.

Sherry is the absolute best! She is always client focused!The only complaint I have is with ME itself, can you please just have restroom? Why does it need to say all gender bathroom??? I just think you are trying to be too woke and in the process will loose long standing customers such as myself. Seriously restroom covers it all!!!

I have never been to get a massage before I have been having a lot of back pain since having my son a few years back and today I decided to go get one I saw Britt M and she did amazing at first when I got up I felt really sore but then after a few minutes when I got in my car, I just felt a huge relief off of my back. I am definitely coming back next month. I did not realize how badly I needed this massage.

First off— the employees here are all great. I’ve never had an issue.that being said, I will **not** be going back to this establishment after the other day. Hundreds of people (strangers!!) now have my PERSONAL email because the company decided they were going to email all their customers together, at the same time. I guess someone doesn’t know what BCC is. How are you just going to put everyone’s information out there like that??

Back facial was great but they called it an upgrade and charged me more even though I pay a monthly membership. Theyve never charged me an upgrade fee for a back facial and I think its crazy.

I had a 60 minute massage with Jessica and she was great! She was very understanding that I was there to relax and helped work out a lot of stress I had built up in my neck and back. No headache today which I was having every day for the last few months. All the girls upfront were super nice, helpful, and not pushy-- which was important to me as most of these places are. I felt comfortable and plan to come back as soon as I can :)

Lacking severely in transparency of their membership. It isnt a requirement, but more or less it is. When I go to get services to relax, the appointment & scheduling process also should make me feel relaxed. Instead I felt pressured, judged & treated coldly. There is also a serious lack of ethnic skin awareness & products for my daughter were either not good for her skin or just werent even available. When asking questions about this, nobody had any real knowledge. We ended purchasing product that my daughter could not use. We have gift cards that my husband got my daughter & I for Christmas & we have now canceled our appointment & we will try another franchise location in Lex to at least use our gift cards.

Massage Envy therapists are super great I give them 5 stars. Especially Holly B. What I do not like is paying a monthly fee and finding it hard to get in to see your favorite therapist. Usually I have to schedule everything months in advance. I also don’t like the fact that if I pay $75 per month (which covers an hour massage) and I have an appointment for 60min massage. I am expected to pay the monthly fee, plus gratuity at the recommended rate of $25-$30. That is $100 per month for a 60 min massage. Just received a letter that my rate is going up in Sept. I have Been a member with Massage Envy since 2012 but come Sept 2021 I will be looking elsewhere.

I have been going to Massage Envy on a monthly basis for almost a year. I absolutely love it and look forward to ME time. The therapist that I see is wonderful. She works in the areas I need most, always reviews my current needs, and finds new needs as works on me. The front desk staff are incredible. I love going in and see Danny and Joey. They make me smile and I love that they remember me and are truly interested in how Ive been. I have also been the recipient of a facial, which was wonderful! The advantages of being a member have been incredible. I love Allie, Crystal, Kim, Danny, Joey and the rest of the staff at ME Nicholasville Rd.

Ive had great experiences in other cities with Massage Envy, but this specific location seems to be less customer oriented and thats disappointing.Im big fan of the stretch sessions they offer, but its been challenging working with the front desk to find times to get it.They also seem to be highly inflexible in working to put customer interests first when it comes to session. For example, they might have a person for hour massage or stretch but they wont allow you to do half stretch and half massage. Stuff like this, maybe you have an hour credit but just want 45 minute massage. If you tell them this at booking they wont let you book it! I tried to explain they can use an hour credit Ill pay/tip whatever for an hour time but just need to leave early. Nope.They are just incredibly rigid with corporate rules and that totally takes precedent to what customer prefers.So its challenging to get in at times and they really dont work with any creativity to provide services best suited to individual needs. It just doesnt work well for us.

My boyfriend scheduled a full service and facial for Valentines day. We walked in and I was so excited. Then we checked in just for them to reschedule me a week later because I was pregnant and they couldnt take me on the day we paid. I was so upset. So i came in on my reschedule date and was disappointed again. I came in at 12:50pm my appointment was at 1. They took me to my room, my massage therapist was very nice n sweet. She didnt do my arms or feet telling me because the lady who does facials will do it. The facial lady came in. She was also sweet. But didnt do my feet 😐. She tried to get my feet done for free since I had 2 issues. They denied it. Saying it was my fault cause i was late doing my paper work. And i used the bathroom. Remind you im 7months pregnant. It was so horrible and rude of them to take something away and still made me pay full service. And the lady in the front checking me out was rude. Her whole attitude showed she didnt care how i felt.. never again. Never go there again..

Went there yesterday with a friend which was her first time. I had been there several times before. I was very excited and told her what a great experience it will be Boy was I wrong we had an hour massage that is supposed to cover from head to toe. When entering the room from using the restroom the therapists said we only have enough time to work on one area what do want it to be. I was shocked. The therapist I had did not do a good job and she kept huffing like she was ready to go. I was looking forward to a wonderful relaxing experience and massage and that is definitely not what I got . The little girl at the front desk that checked us in and out was super sweet!!

Called my husband an hour before his appt to cancel with no backup. His appointment has been scheduled for 3 weeks! I told the girl when I scheduled how important it is to keep this appt as my husband cannot reschedule due to his busy schedule as a respiratory therapist. Unacceptable and very disappointing.

I loved my visit when coming to Massage Envy!I am currently a Junior at the University of Kentucky and after a very stressful finals week me and one of my friends decided to get a massage from Massage Envy.Upon our arrival the front desk people were very friendly and professional. This was our first professional massage and they made sure that my friend and I were comfortable.This was a perfect way to end my Junior year, and I will definitely be back for more massages!

My husband and I booked the couples room in July for an October appointment, we could have gone to a much closer location but this was the only location in town with the couples room. We got there and they put us in separate rooms, when we asked they said it was double booked. Never apologized. Then one of us had a therapist that talked the entire time and it was not relaxing.

Mike gives great massages. He should get a raise if he has not had one lately.

The massage itself was great and the front desk staff were nice but I dont like Massage Envys bait and switch tactics. It does not mention on the website that the $55 is an introductory price. They dont mention this prior to your massage either. Afterwards when you are paying, they tell you its an introductory rate and if you dont enroll in their membership plan, its $90 for a 50 minute massage, if you want to come back. It costs $55 just to enroll in the plan and you pay around $60 for a once a month massage and I think a facial too. None of that is counting tip. This is ridiculous and no offense to the massage therapists, they were great, but this is too much and I dont like how they dont mention any of this on the website or before you get the massage.

My wife had an account set up on autopay for a monthly visit, all during the pandemic our card was charged even though they didnt provide service....2 months ago I called and cancelled our monthly visits due to the fact they couldnt provide what we were paying for and demanded they stop charging my account....just checked my account and found that I was charged 2 more times after telling them to stop....my next stop will be the Better Business Bureau and then small claims court....I imagine Im not the only one they have done this too.

I was holding off on a negative review until all my transactions were complete, but since Ive been waiting for eight days for a refund, here we go.Massage Envy have some very talented and attentive therapists to choose from. I eventually chose a guy who was very aware of Fibromyalgia and all the painful issues that comes along with it. I have to stress how great the massages were - top notch. With that said, I have to mention how lousy the front office service is. The only reason I chose MA is because I was given a free massage card from my employer. Of course MA doesnt want you to simply reap the benefits of a relaxing massage - they hope youll sign up for a membership program. Ive had no good experiences from these type of programs and was very wary to sign up. Since I had enough perks for several free gift cards, I signed up with the caveat that my card wasnt to be charged unless I was out of gift cards. No problem. they said.Problem.I was home from my second massage for all of an hour before I noticed another charge on my card. At the time of check out I asked for a rundown of the charges for that visit. A meager $5 wasnt covered by my card, so that was debited along with my approved gratuity. If youve ever received a good massage, you know your brain is a bit mushy upon exit. I double-checked my charges and was assured nothing was going through besides the balance and tip. Here we are eight days later and my bank account reflects no refund. How many calls should it take to clear up something so seemingly simple?Massage Envy arent content to just give you a massage or even sign you up for a package. They want to remain in a constant state of upselling you. You booked an hour massage, they want to give you 90 minutes, you booked 90 minutes, they suggest 2 hours. Your massage was great? Why not try a facial or sugar foot scrup or hot stones or etc, etc.Bottom line: great therapists - terrible unappreciative customer service. If you have a similar experience, let me suggest Lexington Healing Arts off Southland Drive.
