We have tried the golden pedicure and it was a blast, feels and smells very good. They have expanded the salon recently and it is extremely clean, elegant and classy. Staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

I’m honestly in disbelief. I have never had such a bad experience here but I went in for a pedicure soak off on my toes and hands and a new set of acrylic mind you I’m usually spending $100-200 here so it was packed they had w new guy soaking my acrylic off my toes he nicked me bad so I asked him like dang can you let it soak that’s what I’m paying for, he didn’t let them soak once he gets upset and aggressively wraps my toes I’m like dang yea y’all doing too much for someone to being giving YALL they hard earned money because why do you have a nasty aggressive attitude when you nicked me anyways I asked the owner if I could get my hands soaked at the same time she tells me no we don’t have anyone to service you they don’t know how to do what I’m asking. 🫤 ma’am what. So they did not even finish taking my acrylic off my toes and expected me to PAY! What in the world am I paying for? Pics will be below showing I still have acrylic on my toes and I got refused service. I’m definitely reporting this. I tried to get past the dirty implements being used and all like when do yall ever use barbicide? Yea never again! Terrible my toes NEVER in my life look like this walking out of a nail salon. *Edit* honestly it was God I immediately found a better salon very clean tools look so clean very nice and professional and I didn’t even have to ask them to start on my hands at the same time and as you can see they still have to soak off my toes! Yes if you’re seeking a luxury nail salon please try Glamour Nails on JFK you get your moneys worth for sure! 🤍

This was my 1st time here and when I tell you it was amazing.. no lie, I’m from Houston and I’ve had a hard time finding a good nail shop in LR. Everyone was VERY nice, professional and accommodating. I felt very comfortable here, not to mention I asked for a pink and white French Tip Pedi.. the lady I had killed it.. man it was worth every penny! 🫶🏽

James was amazing! super quick & work is great! I love my nails. I got a soak off + medium/long acrylic frenchies (full set) for $90. My second time going to Star Nails & i’m satisfied again! 😁

I personally do not recommend this place. had an appointment for 3, barely soaked my feet before getting started. prices dont match what is said on their papers. a deluxe peddy was $47 but ended up being $67 bc of gel. gel THEY put on without asking if i wanted regular polish. thats a secret charge right there. when i got my nails tended too?? everything was fine. but as they started to dry my tech was rushing and got a little upset when i asked for my tips to be darker. it hasnt been a full week and half my polish is chipped off! we went friday, March 22nd. it is now March 27th and my nails have chipped really bad. nails that said $50 on the sheet but ended up being $70 bc i got gel! i got gel on my TIPS. this is not a full hand of gel. they have good service but they getting over lowkey. its not fair. this may not be the best picture, but at the end of my service i didnt even get cuticle oil. we all can see my cuticles need work. she cut them but didnt even rehydrate them. they start to rush when its closer to 7. making you feel like a burden. i hand picked this place hoping it would be a better experience! i will not be coming back, me or the two others i came with. pictures just dont do no justice!

First I would just like to state that the environment of the business was very comfortable and welcoming. All of the staff were nice and understanding. However I am giving 3 stars due to paying 100$ + for a pedicure and manicure, in which the manicure did not last at all. My gel nails within two days peeled off clean and easily without me doing anything. I went back and the broken nails were fixed for free (gratefully) - only to last for a shorter amount of time. The establishment was clean and professional, however the service was not the best and to be charged for small details amounting to 50$ I expected better. As this was not my first option for a nail place, I will be sticking to my regular business. Likewise, if I wanted plain nail polish - I would take into consideration this business.

I took my Dad for the first time and they were wonderful. The gentleman that seated my dad, was so kind and nice. The lady, Taylor, that gave the pedicure was so good and gentle. Wonderful experience. We will definitely use them more.

I went to get my acrylic nails off and get a manicure, that ended up not happening in. They put a different polish on my acrylic nails, I was fine with that cuz I was like okay whatever. Then I found out in the middle of the appointment that they couldnt do what was previously on my nails, which again is fine. I would have liked to have known that beforehand, though. I wasnt greeted whenever I went inside, it was like I was invisible sitting there. After my nail appointment, the man who did my nails walked away without telling me that I was done. I sat there probably 30 minutes without him saying that I was finished or anything. I asked for him to come even up my nails a bit more and he did and then walked off again just to scroll on his phone. Finally, I went up there to pay because he wasnt coming back or anything. I was going to leave a tip because the color is beautiful, however, the service was horrible. And I noticed later that my right index finger, the acrylic isnt even. So it doesnt look like the other nails. If you look up close, also there are spots that werent painted. Ive gone to them in the past, but this customer service was just not it. I will be having to go somewhere else. The nail polish is already chipping on my nail, I just got my nails done 2 days ago.Update: I went in to get my right index and middle finger fixed and they painted both of them the wrong color, it was quite noticeable, thankfully my husband pointed it out, then they fixed it. It was very obvious that it was another color. The same two people were there that were there the last time I got my nails done. Not even 30 minutes after I left the nail salon, my thumb started peeling, the polish on my thumb is just peeling off. I should have just asked for a refund straight up. If I could write this zero stars I would. The person who did my nails was there and not once did they apologize or anything. Once again, the customer service was not good. I do not recommend this place at all, Dont waste your money..

Didn’t have bad service, but it seems I didn’t go in a very good day. Tons of customers upset about the prices and service of things. I do feel like I was overcharged for my services especially since my nails aren’t the same length around, and my nails are starting to look like they already need a fill. Just had my nails done Saturday.

We had a great experience at Star Nails! My husband and I got deluxe pedicures and it was so relaxing! My husband got his toes painted turquoise and they turned really good. I got tips and dip powder with a design on the ring fingers. There were a couple of minor fixes that I wanted and they were happy to do it and make it look how I wanted!

They provided a good gel pedicure. However, before I made the appointment, I requested for Gel-X extension which they said they could do. That wasnt the case on the day of my appointment. I wouldnt have made the appointment if they didnt provide that service. The low rating is for not being honest about the service they could provide before the appointment was booked.

I went in to get a pedicure. Well first when I got there there was water already in the in the bowl and it was cold. I had to tell her to put some hot water in it and then for some reason once you come and get a pedicure they just try to dive right in. I had to ask her about three times to let me soak because its been a while since I had been there. The overall service was just not that great. I spent a lot of money and just to be honest Im going to have to get up fresh pedicure when they normally last about a month

How you doing toes with xrta long nails, and didn’t even have the decency to wipe the extra polish off from around my toes! First and last time ever going back there. This place sucks including the manager who did nothing to make sure I was satisfied! Zero stars if I could! They tell you one price and then another yeah horrible I pay for what it’s worth and that was terrible I said what I said!

The mancure/pedicure itself was fine. But the chemical smell in the salon is so strong that i asked for a mask, and my eyes were on fire by the time I left. In addition to that, there was no sense of it feeling like a salon, the staff was very loudly having conversations amongst themselves. I will not go back.

This was the not a great pedicure. The man that did my feet was not good at all. He was nice but, he bent my toe back to polish , now it is aching. Instead of asking me to move the chair up. He did not trim my nails well they are crooked. He did not clean the dead skin from under them. I am in Arkansas on business for two weeks. I get pedicures to have a great experience and to take care of my feet, because I have been on them all day. They feel no different than when I walked in. $60.00for nothing. I will not use them again when I am in town.

Booked ahead of time for a ombre dip, 50$. Extra 5$ for extra length. I loved the guy who did my nails, gentle and did them perfectly. Didn’t nick me once and there are no bumps or anything on the nail. Was out in an hour or two. The child there that I assume was an employees was just lovely and sweet, and so were the rest of the employees. Issue came when I went to checkout, they said 100$ because of the length. But that’s why I put extra length? Who knows why they wouldn’t tell me before. But it’s okay I suppose, I still like my nails and everything. Father did yell at me for the price though afterwards.

Complete waste of time.  3:00 appt for mani/pedi, so why am I waiting for an hour with my feet soaking in cold stagnant water. At any point from the moment I entered you could have said were running a little behind- do you mind waiting.  But NOPE.  The idea that a customer wants to sit and stare at your slow moving staff for an hour just takes the cake.  The previous owner would have NEVER allowed such slack service!. Dont waste time or money with these newbies.  They dont have a clue how to efficiently service customers. Used them once before and there skills are marginal at best.  Lots and lots of other shops to choose from.  Just wish I hadnt wasted part of my busy Sat on this one. I left after 4 have received only a cold foot bath and went to another shop. Only had time for manicure after waste with Star Nails on Bowman

My daughter and I normally go to Lillys but they were closed early so we came here. Although I am satisfied with our feet, I regret it. We got a regular polish which turned out okay. The older lady that did my daughters feet was very rude and would not speak to us the whole time we were there as if we were invisible. She was very rude. When I asked about pricing, she began to talk about me in a different language thinking I couldnt or wouldnt understand. We were left sitting in our chairs trying to figure out if our feet were dry while they catered and waited on everybody else. Finally a girl walks over to us but refuses to put our sandals back on!! We felt very unwelcomed. I will NOT be patronizing this business again!! Very poor customer service.EDIT: I am now giving them 1 start instead of 2. If I could give 0 I would!! This is due to the owner leaving a nasty remark for my honest review of their establishment and the way they run their business or lack thereof. I complained about the service, not once did I say anything about our cuticles not being touched up. The owner obviously has poor listening skills and gets easily offended by reviews which is evident from her argumentative responses. You will be out of business very soon if you keep this type of poor customer service up!!

I paid $43 for a full set+ gel nail color. Way over priced. I went around 12 pm on a Tuesday so I was the only customer. You would think I would have the owners attention right? Wrong!! He was up every couple of mins helping his wife and daughter, who was inside with her infant child. At one point he stopped doing my nails to take the baby outside. I probably wouldnt mind paying $43 if the service was good but it was terrible. I wont be returning.

Went to go get my nails done I saw someone walking around the building however they have a sign on the door that says You must book an appointment by calling the number I called the number nobody answers the phone if she couldnt do the appointment all she had to do was pick up the phone and say I cant take any appointments right now I think its rude to not answer the phone for your customers to book an appointment when youre telling them to book the appointment by phone. Oh well she lost my business.

Tiffany is really the only one there that does a good job. Everybody else in there I wouldn’t let them touch me again. The lady at station 6 was rough, she kept “nicking” my skin. I said something to her I don’t think she understood. I had to tell another lady and she told her.
