It was a lot of fun. First time really seeing drag kings perform, and they were great! Attended Miss Kittys Pub Crawl.
I have never had a single bad time here at Club Sway. It has been my home club for a small chunk of time now, and I would recommend anyone who likes clubs, or is even just a curious young lgbtq person to come here at least once.Incredibly friendly staff. This building is somebodys pride and joy, and you can tell in every cell of this buildings anatomy.(My coworkers tell me this club is VERY old. The ambiance is like stepping into the belly of a beast who’s ventured history)But aside from the vibes, this is a very nice club and great for a “first club” when on a night of fun!Stay for the shows tho! They NEVER flop!
We werent in Little Rock when Sway was open before, but we have enjoyed visiting it since it reopened recently. Friendly owner, responsive staff, and fair prices. Its welcoming and has older and younger clientele.
Such a loving and open atmosphere. I always feel safe and welcome. Go when theres a drag show though, because these folks are fantastic. Their shows are fresh and creative and never fail to entertain!
The performers were all similar in appearance, style, genre, etc.The staff was rather rude and curt. The patrons were the worst part. Its hard to enjoy a show when the people around you are openly making fun of you for your clothes and appearance. Ive since changed my wardrobe and lost 45 lbs but I wont be going back; even if RuPaul herself was there.Honestly this club embodies the white gay stereotype and everyone there is a page out of the same book: performers, patrons, and staff alike. An LGBT+ club should make you feel welcome and safe; Sway will make you feel judged and unwanted.
Great and friendly atmosphere. Loved that it’s a smaller club. Went there last night and saw some good performances. Drinks were cheap! $4 for a beer and the cover was only $5. Definitely will go back.
Club Sway is the place to go in Little Rock. Not only is the music and staff great, the community and entertainment is top notch. Im glad to have such a wonderful place to get out to. Hope to see everyone there.
Disrespectful staff that actively works towards hiring acts whom are racist. Complaints have been registered multiple times with the owners, and in solidarity with the bigoted-acts in question, the club has retaliated to the community with comments and videos supporting ignorance and a lack of acceptance. I will never be visiting this club again, because I would never support a club which embodies proudly the lack of leadership and respect needed in order to look after a polite and respectful staff. A laughing-stock of a safe-space. SPEND YOUR TIME AND MONEY ELSEWHERE.
There was some rainbow people. Them rainbow people got to wild . One person made me question myself. I do not like that them rainbows are taking over the economy
Absolutely a must visit if you are in the area.
Starting with the good: Drinks were good. Well mixed. A little pricey compared with what I am used to but that was Ok. The cover charge was reasonable. The best thing about this club was that it is 18+ since I went with 2 friends who were only 20. (Little Rock doesnt have anything for night life if you are under 21)However, the drag show was not good. I am not an expert on drag but I tend to think its about feeling like you are at an Adele, Madonna, etc show but its actually a man. Totally should pull a Mulan on you, right? The Queens were over the top. And the MC of the evening was doing this sailor thing... I didnt get it. But she spoke not in a womans voice but just a typical gay mans voice. Wasnt convincing at all. She, the MC, also talked and talked and talked about random stuff that wasnt interesting at all. We pretty much ignored her that whole time. Also it was dead at midnight on a Saturday which was the main disappointment.
Dont miss this bar!!! This club is sooooooo much fun! Club Sway is so diverse, ethnically and genderwise. They are accepting of everyone. The drag is amazing! They even had Bob the Drag Queen! Best gay bar in Arkansas by far. The last one star reviewer has never been in Sway and doesnt know what they are talking about. Thats a fact! When a club like this is attacked by an ignorant few, you know they are doing something right! And Club Sway has it all! Best drag, staff that cares for everyone, a safe environment to be yourself. Heck, they will even call a cab for you!
Arkansas needs more clubs like that. Great vibe, great shows.
Dont go here without friends.Decent place, clean, good barI was drugged here.Do not trust without a wingman.
Funky downtown club which offers drageoke and magnificent female impersonators perform. Great atmosphere for dancing. Full bar.
Went to see the rocky horror show last night, it was nothing short of amazing. Can not wait to go again!
I ain’t sure why it’s closed. Who’s gonna bronze this here starfish.
Enjoyed an evening there watching the drag show and dancing. Cant wait for Madonnarama! Thanks guys!
Not the place for you if you give a damn about racial equality and acceptance of the fact that Black Lives Matter.
Great club. The owners spend serious green to bring in great entertainers.
