I recently got a haircut from Skyler, and I couldnt be happier with the results! The cut is absolutely perfect, and Ive already received several compliments on my look. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and executed amazingly. Her attention to detail and the precision in the layering really make the cut stand out. If youre looking for a stylist who listens, cares about their craft, I highly recommend Skyler. Ill definitely be back!

Took my pre-teen son in to have a sort of transformation cut (from past his shoulders to short on all sides and feathered on top). He brought a picture of what he wanted and Mo did an AMAZING job! She listened, was meticulous, and so supportive of what he wanted. I also come to La Tierra, and now bring my teenage daughter, too. They are amazing here, and if you’re unhappy then TELL THEM! They listen and are so great. Will absolutely keep coming back.

My daughter had a haircut at a different place that didnt go well, we quickly booked with Amalia and she has been great. She was able to fix it, was attentive to my daughters concerns, listened and showed her respect even though shes younger. Weve become a repetitive customer of hers and always love the results, highly recommend!

I had an appointment as a new client and had my hair done by Skyler. She is very knowledgeable, very thorough and makes sure her clients are happy with the results. Highly recommended!

They do great men’s cuts. I went to numerous barbers looking for someone where I did not have to clean up a cut myself or where they typically cut too short. I stumbled in here while my son was visiting the dentist across the street. I have had two different ladies cut my hair here (one moved) and they both have done a great job.

Had an eyebrow maintenance service done today by Farren and I am so happy with it. I am very particular about my eye brows and I am always anxious to have them waxed but she did an amazing job. She listened to what I wanted and she has such a calming and caring energy. I think I have finally found someone I can trust for future waxing needs. Highly recommend!

If you are a male and think you should go here CHANGE YOUR MIND. I showed the hair stylist a 360 video of what I wanted explained what I wanted and she proceeded to give me an almost exact representation of a buzzcut. She would not stop going shorter and shorter and ever time she closed those scissors raised the urge of me jumping out of the seat and bursted out of those doors crying. Lucky I was able to keep my composer and not do that but now I’m thinking I should have because I came home crying from looking at how bad this looks realizing I can’t change it until a month from now going back to the place I usually go. The place looks very nice even the hair stylist was nice but she did NOT know how to cut hair. I’d rather go to a homeless dude on the street and have him cut my hair with his eyes closed than ever sit down in one of those chairs ever again. I will not be coming back and I hope people who have read this won’t come in the future.

Taylor did my daughter’s hair for her recent jr prom. We came in with a picture of what she wanted & Taylor got it absolutely right! We love this salon & we think Taylor’s the best!

Came in so excited to get my hair done today only to leave hating it. I dont get how 2 - 3 inches turns into cutting 7 inches off. Never again will I come here. Super disappointed.1/10 do not recommend. 👎

Demi did an amazing job with my hair!! I have pretty thick hair and i got a full head of highlights that look beautiful! The haircut is also amazing!

Nicely decorated salon with very friendly staff. Got a free hand massage while my color was processing. Heather was very thorough when touching up my grey roots. Very clean and organized salon. It was my first time there and I will definitely come back.

Maria was great! I came into the salon as an anxious boy who didnt know how salons or haircuts work. I left as a less anxious boy with better hair. Dont be afraid to get your hair cut by Maria even if you dont really know how haircuts work that much

Love everyone here! Mo is such a sweetheart and an amazing stylist! Definitely need to book out far ahead for her, but she’s worth it. It seems like a lot of Aveda salons have stopped doing the little extras like hand massages and such during appointments, but this one still does (sometimes). I haven’t had a chance to try any of the spa services yet but hope to one day.

Got a great cut and style today. Taylor was personable, listened to what I wanted and reasonably priced. Update: Amber cut and styled my hair today and I love it. She gave me great tips on styling and best products to use. Update 2: Taylor cut my hair today and again, its perfect. She is fantastic 😍

I recently found Taylor and I could not be more thrilled! I have thick and wavy hair, which has tripped up a few stylists over the years. Not Taylor- she gave the best cut Ive had in a long time. She is also incredibly lovely to chat with- bonus!

I have been going to this salon since 2012 and could not be happier with the complete experience. The LaTierra staff is warm and welcoming. The salon itself recently underwent a facelift. I am a fan of Aveda products. My stylist, Julie, is top notch and I have referred my friends to her as well. Five Stars for sure.

I went in to get my hair cut by Amalia and it was amazing! She really spent the time to understand what I wanted and ensured it was perfect for me! Shes also so kind and fun to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone!

I havent had my hair done in years. I had a hair stylist /family friend that I used since I was 15 and since she moved I hadnt gotten my hair done professionally. Im 32 now. My husband insisted that I treat myself and get my hair done.. I wish I wouldnt have. The mask on my hair was great, the cut was good except my bangs. I asked if she was comfortable cutting bangs. She said yes. It was awful. The color was actually great and I enjoyed talking to the stylist, hair wash felt really good but for 215 dollars. It was not at all worth it. I left looking crazy because she couldnt even style my hair. I tried pushing my bangs back. It just wasnt good. I would have been fine not having them cut thats why I asked if she was comfortable cutting bangs. Its a nice looking place and Im sure there are good stylists here but I wont be coming back. Its overpriced and I didnt have a good experience.

First time experience with mens cut, never going back. Saw Jules, provided several photos and instructions of how the haircut should look which were promptly not followed. Also incredibly rough washing hair and brushing it out. Actually pulled out some hair in the process which when youre in your mid-40s is kind of a big deal. Sideburns were shaved off despite instructions to not shave. The entire process felt rushed and deeply unsatisfying.Only reason this didnt get 1 star is at least a full refund was issued.

She gave me exactly what I wanted with just a few Pinterest pins and my general ramblings as guidance, got a double hair process and cut done in like 2 hours, and was a delight to chat with. Just got the best haircut from Ayesha! She really knows hair. I’ve been a loyal customer of this salon for 12 years and every single stylist is good. Plus the Aveda products they use are soooo good too. Thank you La Teirra!

I was in need of a new hairstylist after having used one while at school in Fort Collins. I decided to try out this salon, and I’m so happy I did. Since I had never been before, I said I could be placed with whoever and I was placed with Amaris who was *fantastic*. I told her I wanted to chop most of my hair off (about 12 inches) and she kept making sure that’s what I actually wanted before the big cut. I told her I do this all the time but I was grateful she didn’t want me to regret my decision. We chatted the whole time and had great conversations. It was such a nice connection to make with a woman I was putting my full trust in to make my hair look good. Throughout the process, she made sure to keep asking if I liked what she was doing with the hair and would explain what she was about to do incase I wanted to adjust it. All in all, it was a great experience and I definitely will be going back.

Clean, friendly environment. Staff is all very pleasant. Easy to get to. Not overly priced.

This salon is awesome! Taylor is amazing. I worked with her the past couple years to transition my hair color after going to a different salon for many years. The staff is very friendly and passionate about what they do. The only thing that would make this place better is offering a glass of wine (my old salon did that and that I do miss)

Julie is WONDERFUL!!! Julie takes such great care with each client! I wont have facials with anyone other than Julie because she takes the time to know about my reactive skin and how best to keep it healthy and glowing! Julie is always like visiting with your best friend!

I was very happy with my haircut here. I found the staff friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and especially liked Jill who did my cut. The place is clean, they offered something to drink while I waited, and my haircut started right on time. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Monica is great her styling color all great work. Overall my experience here have been great there have been a few issues with reschedule appointments but they have gone above to make up for it. I love coming here and feel better about my look everytime.

Saw Amber for a badly needed/overdue haircut! She did a great job blowing out and cutting my thick curly hair. She was friendly and competent and helped me pick products that I requested (did not try to sell me stuff I didn’t need). Already booked another appointment with her!

Monica was Wonderful!! I havent had a hair cut in well over a year and she was an absolute pleasure to chat with and listened to what I really wanted! My hair stylist was kind, but I asked for my hair to be cut below my shoulders- I even showed with my hand where, and we said we would cut less off and keep going gradually. My hair ended up being chopped off all at once- there was no progression or discussion, and by the time I realized it it was too late. It is short and definitely above my shoulders. In addition, she waxed my eyebrows completely different and uneven, and even tore my skin off in three different places- the spots are still bleeding and raw. I will not be back because of this, and very frustrated there was no acknowledgement and that I had to pay full price.

Taylor is awesome!! Gave me exactly what I wanted even tho it’s more “out there”. I left with the exact textured mullet I was hoping for! Super attentive and listened to exactly what I wanted:)

I absolutely loved my experience at La Tierra! I decided to get my hair cut to have a new look and was booked with Amber. She was amazing!! She listened and did exactly as I wished!! And with the COVID-19 issues, the place was clean, they took every precaution, disinfected all surfaces! Highly highly recommend and looking forward to my next appointment!!

Went in for an easy straight hair cut. After a hack job, I came out with too short bangs that I specifically said I didn’t want. The stylist argued with me and didn’t apologize and the manager never apologized for the atrocious cut. Then they shipped me to someone else for a super quick dry cut. Luckily I didn’t gave to pay for it, but this place is a joke. My 6 year old could have given a better haircut.

Chelsea and Amber were both amazing. Management is great! When my hair turned out lighter than expected they were wonderful and corrected the color right away and did a great job. They’re customer service is right on point and they genuinely care that their customers have a very positive experience when they come in.

I love going here! I see Sarah B. And shes amazing! She cut my hair when it read long and does awesome with pixie cuts. I have a ton of hair and its hard to cut pixies with my hair. Shes not allowed to leave. And they are so nice and clean inside.

Jill is an absolute artist when it comes to hair coloring! She is very consciences about every aspect of her job. Would highly recommend her. The salon is always very welcoming.

Hair styling- they had an apprentice do it. She was sweet but had no idea how. It also took much longer than usual (she was very late to the person next). Ultimately the style I left with looked nothing like what I wanted. Not fair for the salon to do that to her (or me). She should have had a mentor at the least.

Provide excellent service, including, hair cuts, color, hair extensions, and more. I have used other services including a lash lift and tint. I always feel great when I leave! The stylists are fantastic and do a great job. Everyone is friendly from the time you enter the salon to the time you walk out the door.

I loved my color with Taylor! And definitely get a facial here too. Such a warm, relaxing spa ambience!

In the past year, I have seen Monica, Taylor and Amber. Each one of them took time to actually study my hair and understand my ask. It didnt feel rushed and I didnt feel like a just another client coming in. I will say, I was not expecting it to be so expensive but I was so happy with the results, its hard not to keep coming back to them. They are wonderful.

Came in for the first cut after my hair grew back from chemo therapy. I asked specifically for someone who could teach me how to deal with my newly curly hair. I told her she could go short. I showed her pictures of how my hair was before. What I got was a minimal trim and was told to drink turmeric and green tea to keep my cancer away. My hair is so dry and damage. Such a waste of time and money.

Julie McGoveran is my hair stylist now and in the past I had Lauren Peterson (between maternity leaves), and each stylist has provided me with excellent service. One issue is that I am a long-time customer and the salons opening statement that now welcomes me to the family is just too generic and assumes we are all new to the salon? Thank You

I am over the moon! My cut n color turned out fabulous and looks like a million bucks. Jennifer my stylist rocked it!! My hair is always challenging and am never 100% sure if it will turn out how I want it to. Not today!! I would recommend Jennifer to anyone, she listens and will honestly tell you if she thinks your hair can be styled in a certain way or not. I had a standing 2 hour appt. every 6 weeks for highlights.. Last Saturday they called and canceled my appointment 15 minutes prior to the appt....Due to a scheduling problem.. There was never a call back to say How can we make this right, or were sorry or can we reschedule??Just awful Customer Service..... Clearly they dont care about keeping a loyal and good customer!!!Be Cautious with this company.

Natalie T. at La Tierra Salon & Day Spa has been doing my hair for years! I highly recommend her. She is truly talented and we always pick up right where we left off. Its so nice catching up with her and trusting that whatever she does to my hair, Ill love. Natalie has become more than my stylist/colorist, I consider her my friend.

Front desk staff are helpful and pleasant, my stylist, Demi, is excellent. She is skilled and a good listener- shes able to take my slightly garbled ideas and images I show her from Google searches and translate it all into a style that works for my features. Excellent service and experience.

I visited la Tierra to have my hair done by Heather D. She does my highlights and haircuts and she does an amazing job. She is very sweet and professional and works hard to make your hair look amazing. She does beige highlights with rose gold low lights just for me.

Had an appointment for a color and cut. When I got there I was told that the stylist could start me but another would have to finish me. I asked to have a glaze color when I set the appointment but when I got there they had no such thing. I was talked into a low light color but was told they had nothing that would cover gray hair. I asked to see a color swatch of the low tone but was told they don’t do swatches. Felt unheard and frustrated. Ended up with just a haircut that I could have had from great clips. I also had an appointment for a brow and lash tint. It ended up looking like I’d forgotten to wash old make up off of my face. I would not recommend this place at all.

Walked in last minute and got a hair cut appt. within an hour. Cody did a wonderful job cutting my long hair... I was very pleased and will definitely be back! Everyone was very friendly and I even got a lovely complimentary hand massage :)

Julie gave me an excellent manicure and professional brow service that was exactly what I had requested. I wholeheartedly recommend Julie and her expertise!

Not what you expect in suburban area - more upscale than the typical suburban hair place. Like that they are friendly and have various levels of stylists as well as full spa services, including facials and massages. Beth is fabulous. She better not move away. The team there are very courteous and professional. Easy parking and fair pricing.

I moved to Highlands Ranch 2 years ago and Ive been going to this salon for a little over a year. Lauren has been doing my hair almost a year. She is really good. She listen to me what are my likes and dislikes. I am very satisfied with her service.

I was expecting to just get a haircut here, hopefully a really nice one because I’ve only ever been a Supercuts kind of person. BUT oh my goodness, this place exceeded my expectations so much. Demi cut my hair today, it was my first time there and I loved it. Everyone is super nice, I got a little scalp massage, shampoo+condition, hair styled, and even a touch up on makeup. I love this little salon, will be coming back for sure.

Getting makeup and eyebrows done without a mirror should be the first clue that it’s not going to work. Crooked eyebrows and not even any foundation, would not let me look in the mirror till she was done. Absolutely terrible. Makeup and eyebrow waxing was the worst I have ever been exposed to, I ended up going to the makeup counter at Estée Lauder and they did a wonderful job for free. My Hair style was good at La Tierra but won’t go back because they failed so bad.

Lindsay does a fantastic job on my look!! She is a gifted colourist and is very creative in hair design. Get lots of compliments and always feel much better when I leave.

Hailey has been doing my hair for a while and I always leave with exactly what I want. It could be high lights, low lights, a brazzilian blow out. She is so friendly with great suggestions.

Loved my facial!:) Usually sitting and laying for an hour is very hard for me to do. The person who saw me gave me the option to lay in silence or ask any questions if I wanted to. Im such a chatty Cathy. I just talked for the whole hour. LOVE IT!

I stopped by this location yesterday to grab some of Avedas delicious tea and some hand lotion. I was immediately greeted by Jenny, who was very helpful and friendly. After discussing various products, she was able to give me some recommendations and samples. I asked about Spa services, and was given a tour of the facility. It is very clean and seemed like it would be very relaxing for both salon and spa treatments.Last week I went to a different Aveda Salon, and had a sub-par experience to say the least. I wish I would have gone to this one. Based on my brief experience, I will definitely consider this location for my next cut, color, and massage.

I received the WORST haircut of my life here. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The manager was kind and tried to fix my hair free of charge but there was no fixing it. I asked for subtle layers and the girl gave me layers that are shorter than my bangs all around my head. I will have to wait YEARS for this to grow out.

Ive been going to this salon since it opened and have only received excellent service, wonderful hair cuts and great products. Lauren is the consummate professional and look forward to my appointments. Ive had a variety of spa services and have enjoyed those as well.

I was great Amber is a professional she is quick and she always makes you feel comfortable in her chair! This is my hair the next day and after a workout the blow out still looks good : )

I have been looking for a stylist that I trust for years. Im attached to my length and was so tired of stylists who would cut more than I asked. At La Tierra I saw Abby who was fantastic! I will definitely be returning!

Very bad experience !! i took my daughter for a hair cut and it was a disaster!! she messedt up her bangs and her beautiful long hair is sooo uneven ! it was supposed to be a layered with long bang haircut . As soon as we left the salon my daughter was in tears .I dont remember the stylists name but she was a very young girl, the cashier lady said she was one of their new stylist , I think she needs to go back to school , and this salon should NOT be hiring unexperienced people.She did not know what she was doing. My daughter is still very sad! I will never go back there !

I went to go get two inches off of my hair, as i just wanted it to be a bit shorter, but the woman who was cutting my hair kept saying that she had never worked with hair as thick as mine before. so that was an immediate red flag, but as soon as she started cutting she took off about four!! not to mention how short my hair is now, its superrrrrr lopsided. so thanks

If I can give a minus to this salon I would. I went there 3 times. My hairdresser /Destiny/ first time did a good job, but never discussed the price with me so 1. time I paid $190.00 cut and color. I was there almost 4 hours.2. time I paid a $170.00 just for color again I wast there almost 3,5 hours. and the bleach went al over my shirt, nexd day I went back they paid for my shirt.3. Time I paid $275.00 for exact the same service color and cut. So I talked to the manager why Im paying this time almost double. She sad because I had a color and cut and she was spending 3.5 hours on my hair and I have to pay for her time :-). she left the bleach on my hair for 2 hours my hair looks like a doll hair I can not do anything with it just put it on the pony tail. How the manager handled the issu it wasnt professional, and she was rud!!

From Haircuts, to color to the occasional massage, everyone in the salon is so genuine, experienced & talented. Weve enjoyed each experience weve had and truly love the atmosphere, staff, products and services! La Tierra is truly an Elite and Elegant salon that I recommend them highly!

Rating 5 star because of the masseuse!!!! Wow she is amazing, intelligent, affordable and great at what she does. Cares more about the client and making you feel better than the profit. Also taught me stretches and movements to help with me chronic neck tension.

I found my new go to. Usually I just do cuts (not color) so I hate to spend too much. I felt the pricing is spot on and there are plenty of options from simple to full on pampering. I was very satisfied with this place and will be back.

Ashley had the unfortunate luck to deal with my crazy hair. My color went sideways and even though it was NOT her or the salons fault, they fixed it for me at no cost. Ill definitely go back!

Cant say enough great things about Ashley! She took my damaged hair and turned it back to my healthy dark color! She was so kind, understanding, and fun to work with!

Horrible! I paid $250 for a brazilian blow out and they failed miserably at it. I have had this done before and my hair looked amazing! this time, my hair is brittle and had no impact to the product. The owner of the salon is stingy and a penny pincher so do not expect to have the proper amount of solution used on your hair. They will not consider refunding your money either!

I love Aveda salons, I love the vibe at La Tierra, I love the hair artists there! My tinted eyebrows and highlights look fabulous, and they take such good care of you there, even through the pandemic.

I recently moved a block away and I love ❤️ the service I get with Heather. The price is right and they offer free bang cut in between haircuts 💇‍♀️.I’m very impressed with this salon.

Did not do the highlighting I asked for. Styled my hair like Bozo the clown. The stylist was a half hour late for my scheduled appt and then I was forced to leave a 15% tip at check out. Worst hair salon experience ever!

Reasonably priced for the service depending on the tier of stylist you want. Im always able to get in same day, or early next day. The staff is always friendly and welcoming with plenty of parking onsite to not feel rushed.

Make sure when you call to schedule any service you tell them you want the add ons right over the phone. I was told it would be decided during my appointment and I never got the peel I wanted. But overall, good facial.

Taylor is an amazing stylist. Also, I loved the scalp massage, hand massage, and the lip color application at the end of my appointment!

What an absolute joke of an establishment. When purchasing my wife a present here the front desk girl could not articulate anything about their offering. Had to be saved by a coworker that had over heard. Then, make an appointment, confirm said appoint, ON MY WIFES BIRTHDAY, and they didnt have the ability to fulfill said appointment.Sorry I even tried to support these yahoos

My hair is messed up. The color is fine, but I only asked for maybe 2 inches off and now it’s so short I can’t even put it in a ponytail. It’s going to take a year at least to grow back to the length it was. I’m so upset I’m never going back.

Having going here for a little over a year now and absolutely love it.Its pretty down to earth but also very nice inside.My hair has never looked better.

I have gone here for years now and I LOVE it. They are accomodating, friendly, and have an open area and VERY clean without being overbearing or overwhelming. Theyre also reasonably priced and offer a large range of services like facials, hair care, etc. Highly reccommend!
