This review is for Dr. Allen Bonilla:Coming to Live Well for chiropractic care has been the single most effective treatment I’ve received after 2 years of lingering chronic pain and misdiagnosed mental health issues. Dr. Bonilla was able to locate a source of discomfort within our first session which had gone overlooked by other practitioners. The benefits have been profound and have opened my eyes to understanding both the human body and my own body. My improvements have been immediate and have affected my life greatly already. I cannot thank you enough!

After years of dealing with chronic jaw, neck, hip, and ankle pain I have been to many chiropractors, but I’ve never had as good an experience as I have with Dr. Bonilla. He is excellent. Within minutes he identified and resolved problems that had been nagging me for years. His skill and knowledge of the body as a whole is rare. I am so glad I found him and recommend him highly!

Dr Bonilla has changed my life! I have lived with chronic pain for as along as I can remember and for the first time my hip, back and neck pain are gone. Consistency is key, but this is the first chiropractor that has been able eliminate my constant pain and I feel that I have normal posture again.

Great technique. I have tried different methods and different offices. My chiropractor talked about Dr. Bonilla and his technique is different. He concentrates on the specifics on my back and neck and hip and goes and does adjustments on that area. Been to him few visits and been great. I highly recommend him. Every visit after I leave I have more energy and breath much better .He uses Advanced Biostructural Correction aka ABC technique .

Dr Bonilla has helped me so much with my neck. I have been dealing with pain in my neck and spasms. I couldn’t even turn my neck to the left because of discomfort I had. Dr Bonilla has changed my life in a good way. This awful pinching nerve around my shoulder blade I had constantly would not go away. I tried it all and nothing worked, until I met Dr Bonilla. I couldn’t even cook or do certain things without pain and discomfort. I know I still have a ways to go but my life has changed in many positive directions. I was diagnosed with scoliosis at an early age and kyphosis developed in my teens. I did not take any action until I was in my 30s. I tried physical therapy through both UCLA and Kaiser. I followed the recommended exercises for several years, such as wall angels and chin tucks, but saw little to no improvement. Upon reaching my 40s, I decided to try chiropractic care, and visited Dr Bonilla. At the time, I was informed that it would take some time due to my age. After nearly two years of visits, the results have been remarkable. My posture has improved significantly, and I no longer feel a heavy weight in my back, feel lighter when standing, and no longer look down when walking. All the aches and pains I used to get from standing and running for too long have gone away. The overall results and experience have been amazing, and I plan to continue my visits for the foreseeable future.

I had been dealing with horrible back pain around my shoulder blade for about a week and it seemed like it wasn’t getting any better at all. Dr. Bonilla is amazing. I have been a dancer/ yoga /fitness person for many years I was in a bad place with Sciatic pain such that my leg went numb a few times getting up out of bed and I would almost fall. It took consistent visits in the beginning but Dr Bonilla explained his technique and the process to correct issues that others could not. I live two hours away but Dr. Bonilla was worth the trip. I followed him to his present location which is a nice place and cool area of LA. He also helped my husband and son ( tennis player and swimmer)with their posture and other issues( carpal tunnel). Highly recommended.

I am so thankful I found Dr. Bonilla . I had seen several chiropractors over the last couple years , a physical therapist but my neck & spine issues continued . Not only was I spending a lot of money but I was not seeing any improvement or getting any relief. Unable to get a good nights rest in over 3 years was becoming a hopeless situation . I had to get adjusted while on vacation. Its not easy trying to find a chiropractor on your own under those circumstances. That being said, he would be my chiropractor if I ever moved to LA. The doctor was super knowledgeable, very patient, and explained things I had never been told by any of the many doctors Ive seen for years. It really helped me piece together some important information I needed about my health and wellness. I cant recommend the doctor enough. It was also one of the smoothest adjustments Ive ever had.

Dr. Bonilla is really good. I’ve been living with horrible, life altering, chronic back pain for 15+ years, but in the last 18 months I’ve endured a new set of issues related to my hip and back. It’s felt hopeless at times, going to different doctors, taking xrays and mris, seeing physical therapists, acupuncturists, natural healers, other chiropractors, doing extensive yoga, etc. and the problem has just continued to get worse with no clear solution. Luckily, I stumbled on Dr Bonilla’s practice when I was searching online… I knew from the first consultation appointment that he was different. His approach was much more calculated, thoughtful and specific. I had tightness in my neck and upper back for a long time. After having an adjustment with Dr Bonilla last year I felt much better. I started to get adjustments more often, and the motion on my left side increased, and was not so tight anymore. Dr Bonilla can tell where your pain is, and has many techniques to fix it. Hes very skilled, and caring, and he will help you to find relief in a safe and effective way.

Dr. Bonilla is the best chiropractor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.Why?I came for neck pain, brain fog, disassociation all stemming from a car accident. NOTHING was helping me even 3 months after the accident.Turns out my neck healed incorrectly and was locked in place which was causing all of my mental and physical symptoms. Within just a few weeks, I feel 80% better and each day notice an improvement.Although I came primarily for my neck, Allen has been able to address the rest of my body-- specifically, he is helping adjust my lower back that has been out for 5 years.He is incredibly knowledgeable of the body and even when my pain subsides and my neck is aligned, I will continue to come regularly for maintenance.The Space:The office is conveniently located on Pico Blvd and the office is very comfortable and clean. Dr. Bonilla is someone that I have had a chance to work with professionally. He is what I call a chiropractors chiropractor, meaning that as I chiropractor myself I can thoroughly appreciate his depth of knowledge and adjusting technique to the extent that I am thrilled to get treatment from him for my own personal needs. Dr. Bonilla is kind, caring and has those personal skills that also make being seen by him enjoyable. Cant say enough about Dr. Bonilla and how much he has helped me identify problem areas in my body and form a long-term plan for posture improvement. Im a desk worker and over the years experienced worsening symptoms of neck and back pain, with a deep knot thats always there in the same spot behind my shoulder blade. I used to get massages but they only offered a temporary relief, and these issues are deeply rooted and were affecting other parts of my body and even my sleep. After my first adjustment I slept more deeply than I have in a long time, and Ive continued to visit Dr. B since in order to systematically tackle this one deep knot in my upper back that has festered over time. The knot has finally started to improve after consistent adjustment. Dr. B is one of the only ABC (advanced biostructural correction) certified chiropractors in LA and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to change their posture and body in the long-term. Wow! What a experience. I walked into Dr. Bonilla’s office with pretty bad back and neck pain. It had been happening for months now. So glad to find Dr. Bonilla doing ABC in Los Angeles! I have worked with dozens of chiropractors and I recently discovered Advanced Biostructural Correction. This is the only kind of chiropractic care that has actually created lasting changes for the better in my spine and body. I was feeling pretty crippled after a couple of car accidents. ABC has brought me huge relief. Because we travel around the country a lot, Ive worked with a lot of ABC practitioners and Dr. Bonilla is really good at what he does. Hes kind, caring, skilled and very insightful as to what is going on in the body. He pulled out extra skills from his bag to help my hands from long term injuries from my massage career that no one else has every helped me with.

I work with Dr. Bonilla and I am ALSO his patient. His clients range in ages from 14 years old - that need help with sports injuries to well over 60. I see his clients transform immediately - sometimes one visit is all they need - others choose a more long term approach to injuries that are simply not quick fixes. My posture has improved greatly as has my back pain. I cannot speak highly enough of him as an incredible professional who truly cares about his patients and their well being.

I could not be more grateful for Dr. Bonilla. He is very knowledgeable and has a great passion for his craft. I had originally went to Dr. Bonilla to treat my costochondritis; I have also benefited greatly in other problem areas of my body. Although I still have costochondritis, it is nothing near what it was before I went to Dr. Bonilla. I had previously seen other chiropractors and they had no idea on how to treat it or how it even develops. Dr. Bonilla however, explained to me the possibilities of the development but also treatment for it. Cannot say enough about him and his practice. I am constantly looking for an experienced and highly recommended chiro (years of being poorly hunched over a computer and wrist pain) in my area and a few weeks back I was recommended Dr. A Bonilla by my personal care physician. I set up an appointment and I was in there the same week! It was a very comfortable atmosphere and what I liked best was that he was all about trying to find out exactly what was bothering me...not just trying to apply some blanket approach to long-term back pain. He was able to identify subluxations in my spine, did the proper adjustments and even recommended exercises and diet options to help with long-term pain. Weeks later I am still feeling better and doing everything he recommended! High recommendation!

Wow! Life with no headaches! Im going to have to get used to this... Dr. Allen Bonilla is so easy to deal with and so relaxed you think he might not be up to the job but once I started talking about the problems I had he was able to discuss the medications and MRIs and other treatments like he was an expert in all those fields... Also at the first visit he felt my back and once he starts touching you you KNOW that he knows what he is doing. He was able to push on the areas that hurt and TELL ME how they felt! This is the longest Ive gone now with no migraines and only one mild headache and I cant believe it. If you really want to get off medications or find out why where your problems are really coming from I recommend you come and get an exam from Dr. Bonilla.

I went to see Dr. Bonilla when my neck and back pain became too much to handle. I originally went to another doctor who took x-rays but was in no other way helpful. Dr. Bonilla did a good job of explaining what was causing the pain and how I could fix the problem.

This place is Ace! Make sure you park in a legal spot and from the outside you cant even tell if you are in the right place but once you find it youll be really glad you did. I know a lot about chiropractics because my brother in law I a chiropractor (in Arizona) so he told me to make sure I found a chiropractor that did Advanced Biostructural Corrections. Now I realize why. After working on me Dr. Allen Bonilla was able to totally change my body. I didnt even realize that I couldnt turn my neck all the way- I thought that was normal!!! Also, not even related to that he found out that I was on medications so he recommended natural stuff and now I think pretty soon I will be completely off of most of my mediccations. Good riddance! I love coming here and Im glad to have Allen as my chiropractor and even though he is my chiropractor I feel like he is my friend because he is that honest and really works to make your whole life better any way he can.

Allen Bonilla, DC and the ABC chiropractic technique is correcting my life-long bad posture and is nothing short of a miracle. I have suffered from bad posture since my youth, and a life time of abuse making the situation worse and worse.
