The Humble Abode Spa

The spa itself if GREAT! The owner is super sweet and amazing. My rating it more for my specific therapist. We agreed to have a mix - a Swedish and deep tissue, but during the service... there was no deep tissue. I asked to have the pressure increased twice, but anytime she would move to another area, it was back to zero. Also, she also left in the middle of the service to tend to another client. Again, the spa itself is amazing and I really loved the owner and everyone at the front desk. Ill go back again so I can try a different therapist.

I had such a great experience here! I received a gift for a massage and they were able to take me today when I called. The building is lovely as is their boutique which is filled with candles, soaps, etc. It smells wonderful too! My massage therapist Eddie was absolutely kind, respectful and incredibly skilled. Ive never had a better massage in my life and Ill be sure to book all of my future spa services at The Humble Abode Spa.

Love my massages with Lisa! Shes incredible knowledgeable and Ive gained a deeper understanding of my muscles, posture, & breathing after every appointment.  Ive always been nervous about deep massages but Lisa has opened my mind! I enjoyed the deep work shes done on my wrists (I spend a lot of time on the computer) and I recently, after beginning Invisalign she was able to relieve the tension I felt in my jaw & neck by massaging pressure points INSIDE my mouth. Lisa and The Humble Abode has been a real blessing for my health.

I went it for a chiropractic adjustment with Steve who was really friendly and definitely knew his stuff. I walked out of there feeling so good and limber I decided to get my first facial ever from Nicky who was really gentle and pleasant. I normally dont like people touching my face, even if Im paying them to. She also was very firm when needed and hit all the pressure points. That was 3 years ago. Ive now been seeing her weekly since. I recommend her to anyone who needs to feel rejuvenated, younger and who wants to treat themselves to the pampering they deserve. This is a great spa.

I love love love this place! It is by far the cutest place I have been to in West Hollywood. The owner works the front and is super nice and I have been seeing Nicky for facials and cant thank her enough for how great my skin has been doing! I was also really excited about how reasonable the prices were. I have been to a lot of spas in LA and dont mind paying for a great facial but here you get the best of both worlds; great facial & great price. Cant wait for my next appointment!

I’ve never had a massage like the one I had with Lisa. I told her where my problem areas were and she knew just what to do. Absolutely amazing! Also such a kind staff - they accommodated me in various ways and were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend this gem of a spa!

When I first called Liz (who is amazing) answered the phone and booked me in next available. It’s a small business that’s been in town for 25 years, SUPER reasonably priced, won’t find anything similar in the area. Byron turned my back from a rock into jello. Loved it all!

I had a Groupon for a 40-minute massage and a deep cleansing facial ($89 for $180 value). Making an appointment over the phone was easy and quick. Parking (to my surprise) also was easy.The Humble Abode is located in a little shopping area and it somehow manages to feel like an enchanted forest in the middle of West Hollywood. Very cute. I will definitely go back.

Atmosphere here is amazing, really nice place. I loved that it is hidden away from the traffic. It felt like we stepped straight out of Los Angeles into an oasis. I went with my girlfriend and had a great massage! She really enjoyed her facial and we will definitely be back!

I hate giving away the secret! But I have to say everyone at humble abode is so kind and together with the best facials in the most relaxing setting - the feeling of warmth joy and glowing skin I get here make me never want to leave. I’ve been a fan for so so many years and humble abode always delivers.

I called last minute to schedule a massage session for someone other than myself. The receptionist was very sweet and oh so helpful. The word I got back is that the massage was excellent and professionally conducted. Many thanks.
