This was my first time visiting any med men store and I was quite impressed with Paulina R. And her knowledge of all the products, so much so that I let her choose all of my order and I have to say I’m very satisfied and I would give more stars if it were possible. I will definitely come back again just because of Paulina R. Thank you so very very much! See you soon!

New management. New experience. Shopped with Drake today (he’s been there for some time) and lemme just say, I’m glad I gave MedMen another shot once they reopened. Staff was always cool but at times I just felt it was cheaper to go elsewhere. Popped in today and it’s a whole new energy and they had some excellent deals!

Daniel is very well versed in the store’s flower selection. He made my experience easy with his A-1 customer service skills. Seems like a really great piece to the current MedMen team, keep this guy around.

This dispensary is incredible! Staff is friendly and there is a ton of product to choose from as well. Definitely the most affordable in the area by far too compared to others. If you’re looking for a spot definitely go to this location.

When walking, in the staff was friendly, and professional we were greeted and helped quickly. When questions were asked the employees were knowledgeable of their products and very informative. We made our purchase and left in a quick timely matter overall the experience was a positive one

Tons of variety. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Once you’re in the system all you have to do is show and scan ID. I enjoy all the products I get each time and usually go with staff recommendations. Great sales and deals as well.

Presentation in this store is AMAZING. Prices are pretty high compared to WA but its downtown LA what do you expect??? Great service with very knowledgable and friendly staff. Next time Im cruising LA Ill be sure to be back.

LA wonderland will make you much happier. High prices and location is literally trash well surrounded by trash. They don’t accept medical cards and tax 30% vs wonderland 13% save yourself the trouble.

This place I feel is a huge ripoff. They charge triple the price for decent cartridges and they have very little selection. Everything is 50% to 150% overpriced avoid this place and chain like the plague.

My boyfriend has serious health issues and his doctor recommended him to smoke medical Cannabis. He went to this smoke shop and it was closed!!! It was only 5pm and it says it closes at 10pm. My man had a damn stroke and is now in the hospital. Update your times!!!

Sales person sells me on this 24% THC Sativa telling me how strong it is. It’s $57 for an 1/8 (3.5 grams) I buy it. Way overpriced but ok. They hand it to me in a sealed black pouch that says 24% THC on it (just like the sales person said and iPad display showed). I arrive home to open the sealed pouch and inside on actual jar/packaging it’s clearly marked 20% THC!?I call MedMen back and I get Nick on the phone who says it’s no big deal! It’s probably just a misprint happens all the time but if I want I can come get a refund. I drive all the way back to downtown to get my refund.I tell the associate at the front door I need to make a return. First she says they can’t do that but after hearing the problem she starts to apologize because that’s not right and points out Manager Man Bun Nick.Nick looks at the THC % and sees it doesn’t match and proceeds to tell me that he knows he told me he could refund me on the phone but can’t really do that. He did apologize and said he would make it right by giving me 20% off of another $50 purchase.So, their solution to ripping me off is to have me spend another $50 to get 20% off of a product that who knows what it will actually be when I get home!? As a manager Nick probably knew he couldn’t give me a refund but had me drive an hour each way for $10 off $50 of weed?! That’s less than my gas back and forth.I came to MedMen because they are building this brand of upscale pot shop meets apple store environment. I know they are expensive as hell but I wanted to try and get some really good weed and see if it’s worth it. Well, I’ll save you all the trouble, it’s not worth it. The shop may be clean and have 20 employees but you’re not getting high end product. All you’re buying is overpriced weed from a corporation trying to make as much profit as possible. They don’t care about you, your high, your wallet; just their profits!Ps. Just go to a regular weed shop! You’ll get twice as much weed of a better quality and have a better experience. The weed wasn’t even special. Was packaged in August! It’s The middle of January.

Just beware they are pricey because of LOCATION!!!

Last resort type of situation. They have good weed but the tax is outrageous. If you have money to spend go for but I strongly suggest Buddha dispensary on Los Angeles and 8th or La wonderland. Same great weed less taxes

Visited from Chicago and this place was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. The store uses great service and technology in a clean bright store with a great vibe! Amazing selection for both the novice and the experts. Bus tenders were helpful without being pushy and the use of technology to explain the product was incredible. Great experience for even an old guy like me!

Not only were they helpful, they also were knowledgeable about the product to find the best fit for your needs.Security is top notch in front of the store prior to entering, requiring photo ID to be scanned and an email address entered before going into the store (this is info for out of state people who might not know otherwise).This store allows for local delivery or pick-up by ordering online. It is a great option for those who like to compare products!!The store had a wide array of edible selections, with most products in-stock. One item I was looking for, a chocolate espressor bar, was not on display but a worker happily searched the back stock room and found exactly what I was looking for!Would absolutely return and recommend to others.

I don’t know why taxes are so much more here than Wonderland dispensary. I just spent $44 and was charged 9 dollars of tax at Wonderland. Same amount at Mad Men and it was 19 dollars of taxes! NEVER AGAIN

Tried to go in tonight and was stopped at the door and asked for ID, which is fair enough. A lady then came out of the shop and started writing down the details from my drivers license. I asked what she was doing and she told me that cannabis is a class 1 drug and she is legally required to record my details. That didnt sound right to me, so I took my ID back and left. I went straight to another dipensary who also asked for ID. I showed it to them and was allowed to buy without having all my personal details recorded. Theres enough info on a drivers license to steal someones identity. Theres no need to be dishonest with your customers. It is not a legal requirement to record license details.

Prices are pretty high. Customer service was horrible, you’d expect good customer service with the price you’re paying but unfortunately that’s not the case. First and last visit. Highly unsatisfied.

MedMen is such a great place to grab any kind of Weed you want or need! The staff are super knowledgeable with all the products so they can easily point you in the right direction for whatever it is you are after, they sell Flower/Bud Edibles Drinks Vaporisers Hash Wax Resins etc... this place is unbelievable!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💨

I stopped by the first day while staying at Freehand for 3 days to get a few budget friendly prerolls. Prices were higher than Im used to in my home state but California is spendy. I was disappointed when the joints I got only burned down halfway before they stopped hitting.I returned to Medmen the next day to get something different. I mentioned what had happened with no expectation of any sort of reimbursement. It was the same guy as the day before so he recalled his recommending what I purchased & apologized. The other employee asked what I had gotten & seemed genuinely concerned.A 1.5 gram infused joint was recommended, I was given a discount, & wowzer! That one hit great all the way down to the filter & I was properly stoned for the duration of my trip.Thank you for the great service!

Honestly don’t waste your time, they charge 36% in taxes, $3 for debit fees, no first time customer deals, must wait outside for entry etc. — I usually keep it classy and go to The Marathon Store and even THERE they don’t tax like this! But if you’re DTLA and need a quick spot to go to, Go to Buddha Co and get HotBox or Alien Labs.. save your time and energy. Everything is priced at $50+ 36% on top of whatever other bullshhhh prices they have . BE CAREFUL FOR CANNASCAMS ! Thank me later !

Easy to order online and pickup. Prices were good. Salesperson was kind of nice...? He didnt seem super knowledgeable, but I guess that didnt matter bc I pretty much knew what I wanted. Havent tried the gummies yet, Im sure theyll be fine!

Amazing store with tons to offer. Everyone on the staff was extremely nice and Davin was especially helpful. He was able to walk us through and find everything we needed for our specific tolerances. I was very happy with the selections he helped us pick out and had genuine conversation throughout our visit. Highly recommend this place for visitors and locals alike!

Michelle the store manager, was a great help! She answered all of my newb questions and showed me around the lovely store.The displays and presentation was super clean and easy to navigate.I highly recommend this location if you are downtown or passing through!

They have a lackluster set of reviews, but they opened early on Saturday. I arrive 30 minutes after supposed opening time and was informed they wouldnt be opening for another 2-3 hours and to come back then. Impossible as Im not a local. This vibe seems to be how they run the shop based on reading other reviews. I reccomend The Buddha Company in DTLA, just down the road. Staff was great and prices were reasonable, also their name doesnt bring about images of patriarchal male egos.

This place has a friendly staff and a steady operation. If you know what you want and/or ordered online in advanced, you can get in and out fairly quickly. They have kiosk and samples on the floor so getting the information you need is there for you. Of course, if you cannot find the information you are looking for, theres plenty of easy to identify staff members in bright red shirts all around to assist you. Be aware that credit cards are not accepted but debt card are, and there is an ATM located inside. Be sure to ask about specials, you can find great deals that way. And everyone is laid back.

Went in to pick up a new battery and cartridge and was super impressed with Lauren! She was so insightful and helpful about the really interesting differences in cannabanoids and really made me look at the process completely differently. 10/10 would recommend — ask for Lauren, she’s a wealth of knowledge!

Terrible. the manager named aubrey was not outside or near the door to scan id or recieve customers. NO ONE or staff was at the front door. Not even the security was near the door. There was NO line outisde. I approached the door and then they realized they were NOT on it receiving anyone. The security proceeded to incorrectly justify the fact that he was not on point by highliting there is no opening door (which i never did or go in) and that customers should wait on the side. If there is NO line, NO ONE there to scan an ID, NO ONE near the door AT ALL or in sign of the front entrance.. what is a customer to do? hand signal or wave for someone to come do their JOB? absolutely NOT. This place is trash, Aubrey is TRASH. Aubrey was abbrssive and rude saying things like let me give you a life lesson excuse me? He completly was out of line, unprofessional and called out for not being there to scan, recieve and let a customer in. The security was also called out as he tried to cover his incompentent ineptitude by talking nonsense when clearly sir its not my problem if its too cold or whatever for you NOT to be outside and let people know to wait on the side if thats what you do. This less than mediocre Aubrey character should get reported and fired for the upmost rudeness and unprofessional tone towards a customer who mightve not known what to do in a situation where NO ONE was present or availiable to give information, scan their ID and simply be greeted with grace. Not courteous AT ALL, lacks politeness, considerstion and respect. Ill mannered disgusting behavior that needs to be called out. Absolutley trash disgusting behaviour that needs to be addressed. AND WAS.

It was my first time visiting a legal shop and I was amazed! Being from Louisiana it is two totally different worlds. The staff were helpful and they didn’t bother you too much if you just wanted to look around. The store itself was set up very nice, almost as easy as looking online! This is a must to visit!

Literally the worst dispensary in LA with outrages prices. I’ve been there a handful of times and there’s always something. Staff talking to each other and ignoring me, no one answering questions, security outside always telling me to move when I’m waiting to get my ID checked no matter where I stand. And sadly enough, they had no product to sell me after half the staff just told me they had a fresh shipment of product that I could chose from. No matter who is working, it is a consistently trash experience. Embarrassing how high end they believe they are when they’ve never offered actual decent service or had good choices. And when you tip them, they give you a trashy look and say “oh, we get paid enough. We don’t want that”. Beyond rude and inconsiderate.

First experience as well as few hoursi n LA and was recommended this place by a local during my travels as a good starting place.Absolutely loved it and was bewildered by the professionalism of the whole experience. The staff were able to walk me through what I wanted and the process was nice and easy.Would recommend those from outside America or anyone !

Great delivery experience. My driver Petra was friendly and on top of her game. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong product and she personally went back and got the right thing and drove back to swap it out. Will definitely be doing business with them again!

Really clean bright facility. I personally was helped by Stephanie who walked me through each section then helped me pick out items for both myself and a family member going through a hard time. She was SO knowledgeable in a very intricate way about each product I asked about.

I really enjoyed the tablets that were available for customers to view the details about the products.They have a wide variety of products to choose from. Primarily prepackaged weed and edibles. My delivery driver was impeccable...and the speed of service was perfection!I suck at names, but I had a great lil chat with my driver who was rocking some rad vans, and drove the bright blue Bat-mobile (per his license plate holder). Ill definitely be utilizing the delivery option again in the future!

This store is amazing! Conor (one of the co managers) just taught me more about concentrates than I ever knew existed! These guys are VERY knowledgeable, and VERY passionate about cannabis. It’s like the Whole Foods of dispensaries. They have ALL of the top new products and they know their stuff. If you’re new to cannabis, or you’re a connoisseur, this place has everything you need, and they will take the time to talk you through it. Super classy modern weed buying experience.Gabby, in sales, was also very friendly and helpful and took care of me once I figured out what I needed.I will def come back to this store again!!

This place is so dope! First out the layout of this dispensary is very easy to navigate whether you are coming in to be educated on the variety of products they offer or you are just coming to grab exactly what you want. Lauren who is truly a Connoisseur took the time to give us a tour and was very informative when explaining the different products. This will be my go to when I’m in LA. Kudos to Lauren you are truly a gem.

First time in, and was very impressed. Only two downsides...Parking can be challenging and they had very limited preroll options when I was there. The service, however, was top notch and everyone was knowledgeable and more than accommodating. Looking forward to the statemade brand making its way to Cali.

Great product & serviceAesthetically pleasant and flow of the store gets you thru there sweet selection.I wont penalize the outside of store for this (they have security def safe) but outside the hustlers trying to persistently sell their misc product is a very bad look and was a gang of shady undesirables *this should be addressed.

Curbside pick up is not available as advertised. There is nowhere to park near the entrance. Had to park a few stores down (in a no parking zone), only to be told I had to pay inside. Thinking it would be a quick transaction and hoping I wouldnt get a ticket, I went inside to pay. The clerk rang me up my total was $60 and change he said because I was paying with a debit card hed have to round up my total to $65 and then give me back $4 and change in cash. After charging me they couldnt find any cash to give me my change. What was supposed to be a quick almost drive thru like experience became the longest most inconvenient one. Fearing I would get a hefty parking ticket I left the store without my change.If youre gonna do their so called curbside pickup just bring cash i guess. Otherwise dont bother, its more of a headache and there are far better dispensaries.I hope MedMen LA gets their stuff in order.

The staff is the best part of this place. They are always kind, knowledgeable, and eager to assist if you have questions or want to learn more about any product. There usually isn’t a line but when there is it moves quickly. My go to spot downtown.

Overall good experience. The selection compared to others left a lot to be desired but the budtenders did a great job and were really helpful. The iPad menus were a little funky and hard to understand at first as well.

Horrible!!! I purchased four boxes of [statemade] brand pre-rolls because they were out of the brand i normally buy. They are horrible. Right when i opened the box i could smell a turning oxidized smell. I tried them anyway and they taste horrible and won’t stay lit. I called to ask if i can return the other three boxes i didn’t open and the guy i spoke with Miguel told me there is a no returns or exchanges return policy and he was also condescending and rude. I only go there as a last resort anyway but now I’m never going back. Spent 372$ to get for horrible product and horrible service

Great selection and friendly staff, but between the prices themselves, CA taxes, and the “friendly roundup” (don’t even get me started on that) and fact that they’re cash only feels a lot like getting ripped off by a dealer on a gross DTLA street realizing he sold you a bag of oregano.

Awesome experience and a even a better employee with Angelique is an awesome employee she made it super easy for Me to choose a battery for my new cartridge, I ended up buying 2 batteries and 2 cartridges. It’s been real LA

Had a great experience here from the check in service and everyone who spoke with me at different sections of the store. So much information and checking on you to see if you need help or recommendations. This place makes you feel like weed is legal, compared to some of the other dark/anxiety ridden/sketchy/mean-hot-girl options Ive visited nearby.They even offered to let me park my bike inside so I didnt have to sweat it getting messed with on the street, since there wasnt a bike rack within eyesight. Will def come back to this one.

They always have fresh flower and a wide selection of prerolls, edibles, concentrates and more! Plus, they offer delivery which is convenient. I’ve had a cool delivery driver, Andrew, come by a few times now. He’s always friendly and we’ve had great conversations. Try the Durban Poison!

Interesting, Ive been to this location at least six times and on each visit 80% of the staff was new.Very friendly courteous staff however you should study your cannabis before your first visit because the staff never has any answers.Also they do not accept any tips.

Where do I even start?! Love how they verify your id before you go in and at checkout. The staff is knowledgeable and fun. They have everything your heart desires and then some. No public bathrooms but Ill get over that. Definitely recommend this place. Cant wait to visit again!

The store was really nice, clean and well organized. We had a long talk with a very knowledgeable Bud Tender name Michelle. She was cool! They had lots of products but the prices of the flower are a lil higher than the other dispensaries that we frequent. Overall it was a good experience and we will consider doing a Ghanja Guru Tour there eventually.

Usually I love this place. However today when I checked the menu, I couldnt help but notice that all your cheapest flowers were out of stock. I ended up going elsewhere. You guys have got to keep up on your stock or I imagine youll be losing more customers.

Great selection. I visit here every time I’m in Los Angeles! Nobody is in your face and you are able to browse freely and can ask questions as needed. Prices aren’t too bad either.

Staff was extremely helpful in finding me a CBD product to help with my anxiety. Ive had bad experiences with pot before so it was great to have someone help me out and understand exactly what I was looking for. Love the layout of the store, everything is so shiny and clean.

They have a monopoly over this downtown area and I feel the lack of competition is BAD for the consumer. Also the guy checking me out didnt let me use my card, first time ever, so I was a bit appalled. Other workers were nice, but overall Id rather find an alternative!

As soon as I walked in the store it gave me bad vibes. The employees are extra weird. Security Officers weird. Managers are weird. They all seemed annoyed. I been to other locations as in Weho and Abbott Kinney and both stores made me feel welcomed. And I received positive vibes from both stores. Been to DTLA only twice and each time I felt uncomfortable. And security just stands there with attitudes. The other 2 locations I mentioned security is really cool. They even help with questions if the employees are busy with other customers. I think y’all need new staff at this location. Oh and Nick is a lil dude with short men issues. Not a good person at all. Donna and Karina are the only good employees I met.

Parking is really bad needless to say so if you’re driving then you may have to leave your car out with the emergency lights on. However, on my most recent visit, their system was really slow and it doesn’t help when the employee themselves (Patrick) get upset; you already told me it was going to be a long wait. The employees don’t even have time to introduce you to their rewards system because they much rather check out all of the customers. MedMen West Hollywood is much better because there’s risk-free parking across the street it’s definitely worth the drive and I don’t believe I’ll be returning here even if I live less than 2 miles away.

They are kinda rude to new customers, the door lady was great. Her manager however wasn’t so helpful when he told my bf that he couldn’t be allowed in the store with only a temporary download of his med card , even though I had my physical copy and stated his was coming in the mail and I had gotten mine from the same website. NuggMd is 10/10 and so is the stiiizy dispensary which we went to and bought from BEFORE WE WENT TO MEDMEN. Doesn’t make sense how one takes the temporary with a drivers license and the other doesn’t, but it was only our FIRST time going there.

Things got a little mixed up at first. I thought the customer service was the worst I’ve dealt with out of all of the MedMen. However they fixed the issue like a company with great customer service does. I thank them for that.1 minor issue is they seem to have been out of everything I actually wanted but I was still able to get some great weed from them. Though a bit pricey compared to other places I’ve been to, MedMen is a great source for recreational weed.

Petra was extremely helpful. I had lots of questions about a product line and she answered them all with recommendations too. Her suggestions for other Cbd products will help for my next visit.

It was going good till I didnt get the promo that they had going on. It was or delivery minimum$49 and get a gram of claybourne for $.99. Well I didnt get that and did everything listed in order to qualify for promo. So then I emailed them and txt to let them know and I have not received a answer back on either. So with that being said I probably wont order from here anymore or recommend them. Sorry MedMen you fed up and then not answering me back.... Nope. Done

I was greeted by Davin. He personally walked me through the store explaining each section and made everything very approachable. The quality is excellent and I definitely recommend it.

Super friendly staff throughout the store. Several staff members were helpful in answering questions. When I left without a specific item I intended to buy, the manager on duty happily replaced it the next day at no cost. Wide selection of products, including edibles, and interactive computer tablets to read details about the products on display. It is suggested to try the Velvet Queen if you like sativas.

Honestly I dont understand why people complain about the prices, they seem pretty standard from what Ive seen. Plus the fantastic service and expert advise given is great when youre looking to target a specific issue or condition. Ill be back -a lot.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable easy to find what you are looking for. Taxes are a bit extreme $40 in taxes for $100 worth of weed but its out of there control. So despite the taxes its a great place and I would highly recommend.

Theres a really cool guy named Nickolas who works there... I think thats his name. I think he said he moved here from Santa Barbara. I went there like a week ago and came back today. And he recognized me right away. It was cool. There was another guy named Alex who works there too. Hes pretty hot! He gave me 10% off my order, cuz I didnt have enough cash on me... its not that I didnt have enough, just the tax of the product was a little higher than I thought, so he helped me out a little. Everyone at this store is so friendly though, definitely check it out

Cashier wasnt friendly. Great displays and selection. Shop is very appealing to browse in. Bought a 1g heavy hitters Girl Scout Cookies and it came out to 77 bucks without a med card. Cartridge leaks and smells.

Purchased a Lowell Herb Co Pen and the product had no battery , nor was the product supplied with a battery to recharge the DISPOSABLE PEN . I purchased the same product from a different retailer the next day and this product is fully charge and ready for usage . As well as $15 cheaper in value . Total rip off, i want my $80 back or store credit for a better product .

Really don’t like this location. Get hella bad vibes. Employees not as friendly as other employees at other locations. I don’t like Nick. He always seems to be annoyed when trying to ask him questions. Which is weird since he gets paid to answer questions. Normally when I see him working I leave. I rather drive to Abbot Kinney then purchase from DTLA when he’s working. Which sucks because I live in Downtown.

I wish they had more pure weed choices, there is too much marketing if you ask me, theres some over over pricing going on and the wait at the counter. First time there. Not sure what her name was but the. Bud tender was awesome.Honest opinions, have recs on discounted items which to me tells me they actually care about the consumer. High knowledge of product, reliable recommendations. Couldnt ask for more. 5 out of 5 because the employees make the business.*update, so I usually go to LA or SF to stock up on high quality product. I bought 2 pax cartridges the alien OG which was great. But we got a Sage and Sour pod that I literally just opened and its almost empty. I guess of your buying products like that check them after purchase in the dispensary to make sure you dont get screwed out of 55 dollars plus 30% in taxes.

Had a blast at my first visit to a dispensary in LA, Cali. They have security so that’s dope. The shop is very clean and open. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They ask for ID info and email at the door so it felt a little breach-eey. Lol but worth it. Now I get info about their stores opening cross-country. Look fwd to visiting another store soon.

No street parking, you might get a 1 in a 100% chance to find one. If not cary cash to pay for parking. Location in nice, felt like I was at a retail store. I miss the good old dispensary days, but if you want to feel welcomed this is definitely the place. Prices are reasonable, and options are there.

Expensive store and they think that what their selling is worth the price, thanks Insider, but no thanks. Id rather visit a dispensary that actually knows the price of what theyre selling. There are strains in there I could get for $10 a g ($35 an eighth), but they would sell them for $45 an eighth or even $50. Definitely overpriced, and Im one thats never afraid to shell out for good stuff.

Visiting for the first time from out of town and wasnt greeted at all, rude. Didnt want my ID scanned because its not needed to verify my ID and to keep a copy of it? Yeah right, I smell more fire on the streets of LA than medmen. Go elsewhere. 👎👎 and yes thats two thumbs down for overall experience.

OMG!!! I have never met anyone as knowledgable about the actual science of what makes Marijuana tick, as Lauren who helped me. In the 10 minutes that I was in the store, she explained the difference between CBD and THC and how each of them works and the relationship they have with each other in order to derive the desired results. This girl knows her product. Edibles, beautifully rolled joints, sweet smelling buds....she even pointed out the beautiful packaging of many of the products. Would totally return to that location and be super happy to have her help me. :-)

On 03/23/19 I purchased a disposable THC vape pen ($40) here which hurt my throat and tasted like metal. It had a weird peach flavor on top of it seemingly to conceal the metal taste. I threw it away on the advice of a friend who said it could be unsafe and harmful to health.

This dispensary is something that Ive never seen before. Other dispensaries pale in comparison to this one. The customer service and technology used to enhance the customers experience while shopping is NEXT LEVEL. The knowledge the associates have and wide variety of products they offer are extensive. If youre into dispensaries, do yourself a favor and make a trip to MedMen.

These guys are crooks. Straight robbing customers. Went in to buy an oz. of flower for $275. They charged me $146 in tax!!! $146 tax on a $275 oz??? Straight highway robbery at its finest.
