Massage Envy

Had a 2:30 appt, arrived at 2:15 to sign some documents which only took a few minutes then sat in what I believe they refer to as their zen room to wait. The massage therapist took me back to the room at 2:36, which is fine since I assumed the 6 minutes would be added on to the end of the 60 minute session to make up for the time lost but nope they wrapped up right at 3:29. I don’t think the service itself was performed well either.

My 90 minute massage with Karen was wonderful. Her room was clean and organized. She made sure to spend extra time on my problem areas. She listened to me and adjusted her pressure accordingly. She was very kind, professional, and positive.My only issue is that the lighting in the massage rooms is a little weird with iridescent overhead lighting. It would be more relaxing with different lighting.

Sometimes it is hard to find an available therapist that will do 90 minutes and that offers deep pressure, so I was thrilled to find availability with Tomeka just one day in advanced. She did an amazing job and really worked hard on all my difficult areas. I left feeling much better than when I walked in!!! Front desk staff was friendly and efficient as well. All around great experience.

My visit at Massage Envy was an excellent experience. From the moment I walked in the door until the time I left, everyone provided excellent customer service. Rick provided a perfect massage and concentrated on the areas I requested. And the front desk staff were very personable and professional. I will return!

The facial and treatment was great, no problems there - Diane wonderful. Very disappointing in the price. I booked via website and it very much looked as though a 90 min facial would be $113. It was $188!!!! The explanation I was given was, thats if its your first visit. Also, facial began at 10:36 and ended at 11:53. Not 90 min. I was going to purchase a few gift cards but decided not to.

I had a great experience at massage envy. Stephen did a great job with a full body massage, and deep tissue concentration on my neck and shoulders. Everyone is very professional and makes sure you’re very comfortable. I would definitely recommend!

I received a massage and facial for my birthday and I thought to myself it would be a waste of money! Well once I got there and Nathan started on me, I completely changed my mind! He was wonderful, he did an amazing job and really focused right on my focus points. I then got a facial after and Marina was awesome to! Explained everything as she worked on my face! I totally recommend this place and I will be becoming a member!

Every single person at my ME Springhurst location is highly professional and very welcoming. It’s like the great experience begins as soon as you walk in the door. Over a few years of being a member, I’ve had only good experiences with any therapist, but am currently on about a year plus with my all time favorite, Allison. Allison is a very experienced and knowledgeable massage therapist, and I can highly recommend a session with her!

Working with Tiffany. As far as Im concerned shes one of the best! Her pressure isnt deep but it is consistent you ask her to work on an area and thats the area she will work on. Shes very professional and only talks if you feel like talking. Shes absolutely amazing, they are blessed to have her.

All around excellent experience!!! From the front desk to the massage. Kasey at the front desk was pleasure to work with and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve been a member for many years and by far, this week was the best experience that I’ve ever had.I was contemplating cancellation of my membership (to cut back on expenses), but after working with Kasey and Rick, I’ve decided to continue my membership due to the service and personalize service!!! Thank you.

Scheduling seems to be an issue at this location. 100% made my appointment and entered into my calendar the date and time of the appointment at the appointment counter before I left, showed up and they said oh you’re actually late for your appointment. Masseuse didn’t talk to manager or anything to see what the issue was, they just said okay you owe us for the additional 30 minutes of which you missed 20 minutes of. Definitely not wanting to continue with service. Didn’t even feel relaxed after the massage, quality was sub par. Cancelled my membership before leaving. Nobody even said why are you cancelling, or how can we get you to stay. Disappointing to say the least.

Jeremy was awesome. The front staff made the experience 1 star. I received less than a 40 massage due to front staff not telling Jeremy I had arrived. No apology! Charged me $75.00.

Diana was awesome! She continued asking me throughout my chemical peel process what her I was comfortable, if I felt any skin discomfort, what my skin would look and feel like in the days to come as well as providing me with an extra anti sharing eye and lip treatment along with my aftercare products box! 10/10 recommend!!

I have been to every massage envy in Louisville but this location is the best.Everyone is friendly and professional.I highly recommended Steve as he does the most amazing job every time. He listens to want I want done based on what areas are bothering me and always works them out. He is absolutely wonderful and very professional.

I got my first ever facial with Diana and it was so relaxing! She explained everything to me and even gave me suggestions for future skin care.In addition, everyone there was so friendly and welcoming! I will definitely be back.

I thought I was getting a deep tissue massage. She told me she did firm. Since I was already there I agreed to stay. I did not think it was firm. I would say it was light to mediumI asked for a total body. There were a lot a places missed. When she was working on my neck, she did the same movement for 47 times- I counted. I thought she was going to rub my skin off.

Allison is the best! Great job at working out problem areas! The only suggestion that I have for the business, itself, is to open more appointments a little further out on the calendar so it is not as difficult to get scheduled with this amazing massage therapist!

Always professional and caring of their customers! Always do their best to great you by name and make sure you are well taken care of! I have seen Tiffany on and off for a couple years and she is amazing! I have also started to see Cheryl and she is terrific and always makes you feel like friend!

Rick was absolutely amazing!!! He was attentive, courteous and very thorough. There is no doubt in my mind that Rick loves what he does. I felt so relaxed and regenerated after my soothing massage. Highly recommended!

Ive been to Massage Envy in the past and had excellent experiences with both the staff and the massage. My husband was aware of this and bought me a gift card for my birthday. Upon purchase he asked for a gift card that would cover a 60 min massage and the tip. He was sold a gift card for $70. I called, booked my appointment, and received a massage by Andrea. When checking out with the gift card I was told I owed an additional $25. I was informed then I no longer qualified for an introductory rate because Id been there in the past. We were never told this would be my total at any point prior to my massage, she disregarded my concern and asked if Id like to leave a tip. Then I asked if I could speak with a manager, she gathered her manager who tells me that they always explain their pricing policy ad nauseam and says I was even booked by an asst manager (read: Im lying to them?). I explained the situation again and she insists that they always explain pricing and I had already received an introductory massage rate. There was zero attempt to make this right. What kind of business doesnt inform a customer of the cost of a service prior to booking? I will obviously never return (because who pays $95 for a 60min massage) but I will ensure my friends, family, coworkers never do either.

It has been a long time since my last massage. Allison made me feel comfortable and was very good at working out all of my stress knots. I would definitely return for a massage here. TJ

The massage was great! Cheryl always does a great job. I was a little confused that the massage started several minutes after the scheduled time and ended seven minutes before the scheduled conclusion. Maybe that’s standard practice but it seemed a little short.

I am rating my experience very low, not because of the facial I received here but because of the treatment by the people at the front desk. The girls working the front desk were unengaged, unhelpful, probably actually just unkind. This is very unfortunate because they are the “face” of the business. They are the ones to receive customers and make the first interactions with them. If your frontline people are that bad, they are going to be offputting to customers, and your business is going to suffer. As it did for me as a future customer. There is a real disconnect at message envy between the front desk people and the people actually rendering the services, which is too bad because the messages, etc are good—but not worth the painful interaction with the front desk people. I won’t be using message envy again. I hope you guys can improve upon your business, at least for the sake of you message therapists and aestheticians.

Fabulous describes Marina! Not only was she a great representative of her trade but she was so knowledgeable. Her passion for her craft is evident. Taught me so much! Inspired me to care for myself and my skin. She was professional and so easy and fun to talk to! I cannot wait to see her again in two weeks!!

Fantastic, relaxing, and professional facial with Marina! I highly recommend as my skin has never looked better. I’ve been going to Marina for a few months and am extremely pleased.

My wife and I have been there several times and the pricing is outrageous for non-members especially for the quality of service. The therapists were competent but they seemed rushed, somewhat disgruntled, and overworked. My therapist today had a session immediately before me and immediately after, and after my 90 minutes, the guy could’ve used a break. It feels and felt like the fast food of massage therapy.

Rick does wonderful, amazing massages. . Great communication, professional, kind, and caring. I like him alot👍🏽Yesterday my joints were very stiff and achy. Rick’s massage helped to eliminate a lot of that. I slept better last night and am still feeling good this morning. He is very knowledgeable. Thank you Rick 👍🏽

Marina is great! I can really tell the difference after one of her facials. She was able to fix skin issues that even my dermatologist could not. Highly recommend!

I advised where I wanted emphasis and masseuse just ignored my requests and did what they wanted. Do not recommend. I have had about 5 or more massages with Massage Envy, and the massages have never been up to par. I thought it was the particular masseuse and kept trying different ones. I am going to drop my membership.

I had been a member about 4 years back and had to cancel my membership. I received a gift card from my husband because I needed it. I finally got around to scheduling it and the person I spoke to informed me that since it had been 4 years since my last appointment I could have the introductory rate. I had a conflict so called back today and the clinic manager was rude and said I will have to pay the full amount since I had been there before . And she said the girl who booked my appointment was new and didnt know. Lack of training is not my problem. Clinic manager should have honored the price and told her employee to not do that. Well Ive now canceled my appointment. Extremely disappointed.

I had a facial with Diana. She is great, very friendly and tells you what she is doing and the products she is using as she goes through her process. I highly recommend!

Cheryl is a wonderful therapist! I am only giving her a 4 because for my last session because my appointment started 15 minutes late so I didn’t experience my full massage therapy time.

Tamika is the best! Her pressure is firm and she also uses a lot of friction and also her actual fingers, which are my favorite things in a massage. I know that not just anyone could what she does because her strength and stamina is way above average. I wish there were more Tamikas so I could get that kind of massage whenever I want! She’s hard to get into to for someone with an 8-5 Monday-Friday job :(.

I’ve been seeing Marina for facials and chemical peels for more than two years now. She is always professional and very knowledgeable about processes and products. She is delightful and has a sparkling personality! Ask for her and she will pamper you!

Over priced, just not worth $188 or the membership when you can go other places for the same price with a better quality environment. Therapist was professional but room was not inviting nor relaxing. Lighting was not soft. It was iridescent ceiling lights. Which made me feel exposed and uncomfortable. They should switch to soft lights.

Diane always does a great job. She is very informative about how to keep my skin young looking. It’s always a pleasure to have a treatment with Diane.

DO NOT go here. Very unprofessional, rude customer service. My family had 9 hours left over for massages from our membership, and we went in to do one massage and had to pay full price for it. After talking to several people and managers, no one was able to refund it and those 9 hours were taken from me. I was told that they didnt have time for it. This specific location has a very rude front staff and I will be telling all my friends and family not to service at Massage Envy anymore. And I will not be renewing my membership , even though I was planning on it.

Steven is not a 5, he’s a 25! He is incredible. When you get Steven, you get every single minute of your 60 min massage. Not 50, not 58… 60. Also he makes it very comfortable to give direction, is the table warm enough, is the pressure satisfactory…. Very professional.

My wife works hard in all that she does and to be able to go to Massage Envy Springhurst once a month with her membership to get a massage, facial or other service helps give her a moment of relaxation that is worth every penny. Tiffany is a great massage therapist!

Rick is a talented massage therapist! He communicates well, and made me feel comfortable ! All of my interactions at Massage Envy in Springhurst were positive.

HORRIBLE customer service. I had an unexpected, out of my control, situation arise and I had to cancel my appointment two hours before. I had the decency to call and cancel and would’ve happily paid a cancellation fee, but I was charged for the full service. Terrible customer service, will NEVER book with them again. The therapists are GREAT, but the management is a disgrace.

Hands-down one of the best Massage Envy locations I have been to. Since moving to Louisville we have tried to find a good massage salon, and this one is it. Very friendly front office staff, their technicians are wonderful, all around a great experience.

Upon arriving the front desk staff are welcoming, efficient, and warm. Allison does an excellent job addressing my pain no points and lending me feeling relaxed and renewed.

I was having problems with payment because at another ME someone took my credits not knowing how to use the system properly.The therapist and front office staff here helped me get it figured out with patience, courtesy, and professionalism all while keeping me calm because of my anxiety.

Pamela did a very nice job on my aching back. I was in quite a bit of pain when I went in and felt much better after the massage. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I definitely plan on going back.

Cheryl listened carefully to my issues which was 75% neck and back pain. She was the first therapist in 30 YEARS to offer a comfort wedge that elevated my torso when on my stomach which provided comfort for my large bosom. i walked away with great pain relief!

After a recent labral repair, Ive been in horrible pain with scapular winging & limited mobility of my right arm & shoulder. Ive been coming in every week as part of my regimen to PT and Danny is wonderful. He is very knowledgeable about body mechanics, muscle groups, stretches & listens to what you are saying. He is also gentle & doesnt push your body further than it needs to go. He is helping my shoulder & arm gain some function back & Im grateful for everything. Its super important to have someone like him after postoperative procedures who know what they are actually doing. Thanks Danny!!

I purchased a gift certificate for my mom for Christmas hoping she would enjoy it so much that I could then purchase a membership for her. When she went to visit, business was slow so she was excited to schedule her appointment. The front desk person sat on her phone, looked up at her and then proceeded to scroll on her phone. My mother asked if she could get some help and the girl replied what do you need. Every question my mother asked was answered with this information is on the website. Mind you, my mother is a senior citizen who just wanted to get pampered. She was made to feel so uncomfortable that she now refuses to go to any Massage Envy location, which means Ive wasted money on a gift certificate.

Went because I got a gift card from my husband. Had a facial done, which was nice. Wish they didnt charge you more because your not a member. You have to pay a monthly fee to get discounted rates.

I had a great experience with Tomika. She was pleasant knowledgeable and thorough and i felt great afterwards. I plan to make another appointment with her soon.

In town for a few days and was able to get in for a 1hr facial. First time getting one and it was more than I expected! Great service and friendly staff! Go to this location!

One of the best massages Ive ever had. I absolutely loved this place. I would be loyal to this place and this place only if it wasnt for the prices Those are a little much. The first visit price of $55 is great. If they lowered the price for everytime I would go here more often.

It was an awful experience. I got in the room and the ac was on and blowing in my face. It was freezing. I told the therapist. She had them turn it down. That was great but then she touched me with ice cold hands, so cold it hurt. I left. Awful. Who does that? Maybe freezing is relaxing for some, but not me.

Diana was very explanatory and answered all of my questions! My facial included a neck, shoulders, arm and hand massage that was wonderful!!

Angel was my therapist and he was AMAZING! I went in because of a problem with my shoulder. He was very knowledgeable about how to address the issue. I felt ten times better by the time I left.

Great service, explained every step and was very relaxing. I would highly recommend them if you need an hour to unwind from a difficult day or any day for that matter.

Im really disappointed they charged me $55 when I cancelled my appointment well before the 24-hour cut-off. To be exact, I called them 29 hours before my appointment to cancel it

The staff is always nice and helpful. The therapist are very educated and listen to exactly what YOU need. Highly reccomend this place if you need a massage or a facial!!

Great Facial I can never get appointments a special appointment I made with my granddaughter was canceled I am getting out of my membership I can get into a great therapist down the street for less and get a appointment when I need it!!!
