I celebrate my bday faithfully at Classic hits and soul every year!!!

Went with friend for birthday for few hours,,, very crowded but the vibe was on point,, nice line dancing and band!! REALLY ENJOYED,,, staff was polite and security very vigilant,,, enjoyed!

Security was VISIBLE & on point. The chicken wings were RIGHT ON.

This is not the place it use to be. The staff is rude and disrespectful from management on down! I really use to like going there but not anymore! Black owned businesses will disappoint every time! I tried but can’t take it anymore!

No face tattoos. $20 to get in. Great music 🎶 but you CANNOT move in there!!! It’s so packed in there… I never got served at the bar so don’t waste your time with that. Remember it’s packed.. Overall I think I will return.

The woman bartender with the crown of hair is the worst bartender Ive ever encountered. To be honest I left with buying any drinks. I stood patiently in line as she served two people who got in line behind me, before me. The third person was the straw to break the camels back, i reached out to get her attention and then she froze with an ugly disposition did you just touch me she echo to which I replied yes. Because obviously you blind and death and thr next sense is touch . Nevermind, $12 entry fee wasted, lesson learned this business do not need my money

Not the best place to have fun, eat and drink. First of all, they had the AC blowing like it never worked before that night. I was FREEZING and I was shivering in there. No waitress came to our table. I had to go to the bar to order food. It was 8:30pm. She had her homework and cell phone sitting out on the bar. She barley said a word to me. It took 2 hours to bring our food out. So yes we didnt eat until 10:30 pm. The catfish was delicious but the service and professionalism lacked in many ways. Not saying I didnt have a good time but wait staff might need some professional training on how to serve customers in a club setting.

A little too pricey if you ask me $15!!. its still a BYOB and they have a full bar. The food is always good.. I like the fact they serve jello shots. The waitress are on point at Classic Hitz. The DJ will have you up and out of your seat . I like the fact you can dress up or dress down. The crowd is mixed in age.. so it can be people from 21 to 91 up in there. My spot

Nice grown and sexy spot. Mostly for couples but singles dwell here too. Its a great environment to be in for some good music, food, birthday parties, celebrations, or any type of event!

From Kansas City and decided to go to a nice lounge instead of Beale Street before heading home the next day. Checked online before driving there and hours show open until 3am. Drove all the way there in hopes of having a great time with my wife and the place was closed. Very disappointing when youre not from Memphis and all you can do is trust the internet for times. Please update soon.

My first time visiting; excellent music, good food, spacious seating area and dance floor, a fun vibe all around.The security and parking are definitely a plus.I hope to return soon.

Usually a nice place to go.. Ive experienced with Major holidays, 3rd string employee replacement comes in and its not so great. . I will continue to go, just not on Major Holidays.

I love this place,I live in L.A. party capital of the world.So I know a good party Spot..This place is the Real Deal,I usually dont Dance,I did both Nights. Cause They had Good Music Fine women and cold beer.I will be back..I love the No Gang NoTattoos Security policy....

If you are smart and especially if you are from out of town like me DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I felt like i was in secondary school. We had to form lines to go in the club, to the bar, to the restroom, and even to the dance floor. I had to get my ears assisted because i lost hearing in my right ear after they rang something that is too high of its decibels for a humans ear.(Im thinking of suing them). If i am grown and paid my money to get in an event, i dont want to be patrolled and my buzz screwed up by it. IT WAS HORRIBLE. The intake security touched me so inappropriately upon going in the club, it started my night off bad. Anybody who wastes there money there is a pure FOOL.

I told everybody I know to visit this place! I love seafood, & they took care of my fix! Ive tried restaurants from coast to coast and this is one of Memphis best kept secrets! Food=5* Customer service=5* Cleanliness=5* Presentation=5*I was in there on 3/3/2016 @4:59pm. I remember the exact time because they still took our order even though they were fixing to close! We (6) were down for the Martin Lawrence comedy show and eating here was truly the highlight of our Little Rock to Memphis couples retreat! Im coming back every time! I promise! Move over Joes Crab, Red lobster, & Pappadeaux I got a new fave!!

Please remember how much you give your waitress at this club because they will keep your change and card as if they forgot…Food is high is not probably cooked. Waitress are rude and unprofessional when you have a problem management is no help at all either…

Attended May 2021 and had a ball. Plus you can BYOB!! Jammed on the old school side Classic Soul then ended the night at Classic Hitz-..Best of both worlds in one location !

Very bad and descriminates told my son he couldn’t enter the club or bar and grill because he has tattoos on his face .. yet, he has not ever been to jail nor has a felony nor misdemeanor... we will be seeking further justice.It’s sad 😢

Great atmosphere, good music but we were very disappointed by the food!!!!!! Wings were gigantic and not done! Staff wouldnt do anything about it!

Use to love going here but the smoke den got terrible you cant even hardly breathe and enjoy yourself
