Golden Massage Spa

The lady gave a great massage from head to toe. At times I felt as if she had seven hands! I heard my joints crack in the midst of the soft soothing music in that cozy dimly lit room and it was fantastic!—————————————————————It’s only been a week since my first massage and I’m already back! My wife loved it, my kids loved it, and I loved it too. Last time we each got half hour massages. So this time my wife and I decided to get the one hour massage and it was even better than last time! Hot oils! Hot stones! Hot towels! Monkey bars!…well, they’re actually bars that run across the ceiling. The masseuse uses those bars to hang on while she massages your back with her feet!.. but only if you like it rough like me. Great place and the owner is very friendly.

I’ve gone here before and had a wonderful experience in the past. I went today and got a 60 min massage and the lady who did it did a wonderful job. But when we went to check out she stood over me while I was signing my copy of the receipt. I left a $10 tip on $70 bill. She then looked at me as I was signing and TOLD me to leave 20%. I stood there for a second and continued to sign the receipt when she placed her hand on the receipt, which had my card underneath. She then pulled out a calculator and typed in 20% ($14). I told her she did a good job and that $10 was what I was comfortable tipping. She then repeated 20% about 2 more times. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. I ended up changing it because I was uncomfortable and then I left. I called after the fact and asked to speak with the owner, to which she responded the owner does not come into the spa.Overall the quality of work was wonderful and I have had no issues but the tip situation definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. I see other similar comments posted here so I hope that these are being taken seriously because it’s very unbecoming behavior of an employee to do that to customers.

Won’t be going back. The lady who did my massage had calluses hanging off her hands which was beyond gross. The when we gave an 18% tip they questioned us and rolled their eyes. They then spoke to each other in their language as we left which was obviously in regards to the tip. Based on the nasty massage we shouldn’t have tipped at all.

Always have availability, nice rooms, just not very quiet when youre getting a massage. Great prices, but I went in for a deep tissue, and I mainly just got rubbed down. I wanted the knots to get worked on and out. I just feel like its all a routine no matter the person or complaints about a certain spot that needs worked. It still felt great, and the lady was nice. The hot rocks always feel good, too.

Last time i will be coming here. My massage was ok and when i tipped 15% she ask me if that was it, i said yes. She ask if i didnt like massage and i said it was ok. So she goes ahead and asked again no more At this point i felt i just wanted to leave so i just gave her 2 more dollars and was charge on my card for 2 more. Im guessing for card transaction fees. Didnt like that kind of approach of how much i should tip for a service i was ok with.

Do not go here. They were almost forcing us to tip, and when we didn’t tip the lady literally said “don’t come again”! The massage was like massage given by a toddler, a tip for what?? Not only that, they accused us of not paying and then she was like “oh the cash was under here”!!

Paid for an hour 10 minutes into massage was told busy 15 minutes left. Session ended early then was asked for tip. I miss the original owner she didnt rip you off.paid 70 for less than 30 minutes not a value.

Bottom line: Go somewhere else! I get a massage at least once per month and I am a big tipper. This was my first (and last) time to get a massage at Golden Massage. I asked for a 120 minute Swedish massage and I basically had the back of my ankles rubbed for at least 45 minutes. She rubbed my back very gently for another 30 minutes. My shoulders were very tight and I told her about this but she kept working on my back making soft swirly motions. Overall it was one of the worst massages I’ve ever experienced. She started 5 minutes late and finished 5 minutes early so I paid for a 120 minute massage and received a 110 minute massage. They made me pre pay for the massage (which is a first for me) and then when I walked out of my room the lady stood there with a small tray with a cup of water and a few pieces of candy. She asked me how I liked the massage and I told her it was alright and I gave her a $20 tip. She looked at the $20 bill and then said, “120 minute massage?” I told her I prepaid for the massage and I am tipping her $20. She again looked at me and complained that she just did a 120 minute massage. I pulled another $20 out of my wallet and handed it to her. I figured I was going to post a review worthy of the $160 I paid for a very poor massage. This place has zero customer service and they are all about money. My advise? Go somewhere else!

I came in and had a wonderful massage. I was so happy with the service that I gave a $40 tip on top of the $60 I was charged for the service. The next day I looked at my expenses for the previous day and saw they took another $20 on top of what I thought was a generous tip. I was planning on coming back but now will take my business elsewhere. I hope it was worth it.

Just moved here from out of state, and because of my job my back is always in pain, so massage is a need for me. Found this place online and called them last week, went in for my appointment, I was impressed on how good my back felt after my appointment. My experience was beyond my expectation. Oh btw, this spa is nicely decorated and clean :) they are a busy place so I would call to make the appointment in advance.

Sunny is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had!! I’ve personally had over 1000 massages in my life and suffer from chronic severe back pain! Sunny has techniques that offer tons of relief!! I highly recommend seeing her!!

I dont always have the same masseuse but I have had issues with sciatic pain. After describing what and where the pain is, it always gets addressed. I do feel so much better when I leave.

I really enjoyed the massage but the lady left the room 6 or 7 times to answer the phone and go see when someone came in. She was very rude that I didnt leave her a bigger tip. When I explained why she scoffed at me. I have never had something like this happenI was so appalled. I had also just scheduled my husband and once she saw my tip she seemed put out about seeing him. So I canceled his appt. I will not be going back. Tips are optional, not a requirement. She was lucky I tipped anything after that encounter. Id like to talk to an owner or manager.

Went today 4/8 and got a couples massage with my wife as soon as we walked in it was very welcoming and relaxing, we were greeted right away and taken to our room. The massage was amazing and felt great my wife and I both left feeling amazing the ladies did a wonderful job.The reason I did not give a 5 star is because after the massage I was paying for everything when I gave the tip she saw the amount and gave my wife and I a very disappointed look and I believe it was a very fair amount so that alone left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I go to Golden Spa whenever I want a massage. This is a clean, comfortable and professional business. The people there are friendly and respectful. The owner is Sunny. She gives me a refreshing and thorough massage that leaves me floating on air. Angela is also very good. I highly recommend it!It is time for an update. I visited Angela again and left completely refreshed. This is the place I visit when I want a massage. They are very friendly and caring. They give me the treatment that I need to relax my tired body. They are always glad to see me and eager to please. I recommend Golden Massage Spa to anyone that wants to deal with friendly, caring and honest people.

My massage was fine, about as expected. When I went to pay I gave a $10 tip. The masseuse shook her head and said that wasnt enough. I gave another $10 for tip. That uncomfortable interaction at the end will probably prevent me from visiting here again.

I’ve been here thrice. Every time Sara did highly excellent work on me. She has a gentle but powerful touch. I haven’t yet tried anyone else there—doing so and foregoing Sara’s touch would be quite hard. instead of five stars, zi gave them four fir sometimes playing entry games with me.

Well what a terrible experience! I came in for a 30 minute massage and told them what I wanted worked (shoulder, upper back, and feet). Waited about 5 minutes for someone to come and start the massage, after they checked in and saw I was ready and then the lady left three separate times to take care of someone/something. 15-20 minutes later she said “Ok sir all done”. I was like “woww that was short”. Feet weren’t even touched. And she was noisily chewing gum the whole time…$40 for 30 minutes actually ended up being $42 for 15-20 minutes. I still gave a $3 tip and was promptly asked why only $3?? I said because it wasn’t 30 minutes….She got angry and told me not to come back. I didn’t have to give a tip…and to be even questioned about the tip is unsatisfactory lol

Not what my wife and I expected. Basically an oil rubbed all over our bodies. Did not come thru on the deep tissue part at all. I bought a couples certificate for my wife and I for Christmas for $120.00, gave a ten dollar tip at the time. When we were done with the massage and went to give the certificate, the lady asked me for a tip. I usually tip when the service is good. So, the massage was not good, then she asked for a tip. Not professional at all. I just spent $130.00 on bad service and now you ask for a tip 😒🤭.

I’ve been here a number of times now and the experience is always so wonderful. The owner (Sunny) and the rest of the staff are super friendly and make you feel very comfortable. They are very skilled in the amount of pressure and techniques they use. I usually get a full body massage and I always leave feeling completely rejuvenated. The place is super clean, ambiance is relaxing and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Found this gem looking for massage places in the area. Seemed like no one I called wanted my business. They were all booked up or didn’t answer their phones. So I Goggled a massage place and Golden Massage answered eager for my business, told me to come in ASAP. The environment was very relaxing. I could of done without the bell when someone came into the business. Ruined my Zen moments. Overall my first visit was great and Tina was excellent! My girlfriend booked a couples massage on another occasion and Sunny remembered me from the first time. I will be back again and refer anyone in need of a stellar massage. Thanks again!

Massage Therapist here, just moved from CA (yes, another one). Sometimes a good foot massage is all you need instead of a full-body session. Been here once, the manager/owner started the session, but then another person took over. The manager had excellent pressure and technique, the second person was okay. The place is very clean and I was relaxed when I left. Mission accomplished.

I went to get a couples massage with my best friend as a late birthday present. This place was centrally located and their prices were decent. The massage was awesome. I was a bit skeptical when they told us to strip all the way down and cover up with the towel but it made sense when they got into the massage as they Target your glutes and sciatic nerve (which runs down the butt through the hip). More forearm massage than handsy. Would definitely go again!

First Thai massage was so good. Jenny was so clear in her instructions and very strong. This is different than Swedish massage. There is a lot of deep tissue work but also some chopping and pulling. I was taken by surprise , but it was very effective.Be careful about asking for hard pressure. I loved it on my back at first but towards the end I should have asked her to go to medium. I feel a little bruised. But I know that every rib and vertebra is back in place!I felt like all my joints and bones were put back in order. When I went in I had a lot of pain in my upper arm and my knees and was completely pain-free when I left.Wish I had taken photos inside. It is beautiful and low lit. Very peaceful. I would have liked to take more time to enjoy the art and the surroundings.

Oh my gosh. My daughter took me here. Yes, I needed it for sure, but the ladies were so, so great. Very sweet and I left there with a big smile and feeling so relaxed. I have metal implants, and Jenna was very careful with her magical fingers.

First time getting a massage and decided to try this place since the other reviews were so good. I loved it! Super relaxing and a very calm environment. The ladies were very nice and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a massage done!

Wonderful experience! Great ambiance. Just a tip, dont let the size of your therapist fool you! Very strong women, so if you think they dont have the muscle, your wrong. Great place, great prices, and they are open on Sundays!

Don’t go! Was so looking forward to my Mother’s Day (couples massage) but basically got oil rubbed all over me. No actual massage, never did feet. So disappointed. Do not recommend-go get a real massage as price was $60.

I went here today for the 1st time, looking for a change. And oh, my goodness! You know how they say when you find something great, dont tell everyone about it because then the secret is out and its not just yours anymore. That thought crossed my mind. But I thought it would be selfish, and unfair not to share....Linda massaged me today, and it was THE BEST EVER! Never going anywhere else again! It was like she read my mind, and did everything I needed. Very kind, courteous, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. And just the best massage! I would reccomend Golden massage spa to everyone I know, and dont know! And Linda, thank you, you made my week!!😁

These ladies go all out for a one hour full body massage (front+back and face), which includes deep tissue, hot oil/stones/towels and all in a private, relaxing atmosphere. Before they begin they ask if you want medium or hard and check in throughout to make sure youre comfortable (much appreciated). If you go before 3pm you get $10 off, which is nice. Ill be back.

Great massage! Dark atmosphere, nice and calm. Starts out with a rub, then oils with the full massage, and then they ask if you want hot rocks. I loved my scalp massage and such a good price.

Sunni, the owner, gave me the Best 60 min massage I think Ive ever had! Shes a huge blessing and worth every penny and more! Thx Sunni, we will return Soon!!!

I have been to Golden Massage Spa four times and have thoroughly enjoyed the massages Ive received. It is very clean, professional in a relaxing environment. Extremely happy with their service.

The massage was great, but at my checkout, I was so berated and scolded about my miss calculation of my tip that I will never return.

Very friendly masseuses. One of the only places around open on Sundays! They always are great at loosening up my tight muscles.
