If I could give them zero stars, I would. I planned to celebrate my 21st birthday here with six friends, and I was initially excited due to the good things Id heard. However, I was soon very disappointed. We encountered incredibly rude and unprofessional staff. Despite purchasing tickets in advance to avoid issues, upon arrival, we were told my boyfriend couldnt enter due to the dress code. We understood and were discussing our options when a staff member suggested we buy a table starting at $600, which seemed like a money-grabbing tactic.After getting my boyfriend a suitable shirt, we were allowed in, but then encountered further issues with security, particularly with a friend whose ID was questioned despite being clearly hers. The security guard, Roger, dismissed her attempts to prove her identity and refused her entry, which felt like discrimination. We tried to resolve the situation calmly and even tried speaking with the manager/owner, but were denied our request.To warn others about our experience, all seven of us left negative reviews. In response, someone from the club contacted us and offered a refund in exchange for removing our reviews, which we refused, feeling it defeated the purpose of sharing our experience. Subsequently, they temporarily blocked new reviews and deleted ours. Please consider this before choosing to visit this establishment.

If i could give 0 stars i would !!! Upon arrival, Roger, who claimed to be the manager/security, refused me entry, saying my legitimate ID wasnt mine. Despite my request to speak with another manager, he wouldnt let me in, he just ignored me and said he just “didn’t want to let me in”. Tried going to the club next to la otra, and he signaled the security at the neighboring club to deny us entry too. (FOR NO REASON) Its frustrating since we traveled from West Palm and our tickets were non-refundable. They admitted people with fake IDs but not real ones like mine. Additionally, they deleted my review and other negative ones, only leaving the positive. Contacted another manager through email and he said he’ll only refund me if I delete my review and even then took it upon themselves to delete it anyways. How embarrassing to offer a refund in exchange for me to delete my review. They went as far as asking people for positive reviews due to all the negative feedback after this incident, cant even receive genuine feedback. This club is a disappointment, and an embarrassment. worst-staff ever. these employees need to stop letting their positions get to their heads, they are not the owners!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THIS BAD BUSINESS!

This club doesn’t even deserve one star . Biased as hell, only enforces dress code based on skin color , white girls let in with sandals but my friend who is not white was not let in having the same shoes.“Dress code” is arbitrary and the bouncers (white/Latina girl with straight long black hair and taller bald man) clearly stated that the code does not apply to everyone equally.10$ for water is incredibly inconsiderate to the patrons and I hope everyone who reads this steers clear from this place.The music is also bad ❤️nothing you can’t get elsewhere for a fraction of the cost and stress

I used to enjoy coming here but the security lady kicked my boyfriend and I out for literally no reason after we had already spent over $50. Some guy was acting obnoxious on the patio and we had just stepped outside to get some air and she just kicked everyone out who was near by. Nasty attitude and overall ugly behavior from the woman security.

Moisés is the best bartender in the whole club, his attention to every client is immaculate, he wants everyone to have a great night and he’ll make sure that happens. He’s the best and this party is amazing!!!!

I used to come here all the time because I liked the fact that I could go outside to the terrace and go back inside whenever I wanted to. I was able to smoke outside, and it was one of the only places in wynwood that allowed us to do so. I just went last saturday, and I was told that I couldnt smoke. I do not like the new changes this place made and honestly, I will probably never go back. Drinks are also overpriced, minimum $25 with tip for a vodka sprite.

I’ve been to La Otra 4 times (including last night) and I’ve always had the best times. If you want a club with good music, this is the place. This place will forever be my go to

BEWARE POC VISITING !!! we got turned away by bouncers bc 1 person in the party was wearing open toe sandals. They said it was because sandals have to be secured with a strap, so we engineered straps for the shoes and still didn’t get let in but then they let 3 white women with open toe shoes in :( so whack

We had an open bar booked for a large group. The staff was quite rude and they only had 3 bartenders to service more than 150 of us at the event. I will say, the bartenders were not slacking off, but the service quality could definitely use some work. You just feel a little ripped off.

I had never been to Miami and heard only raving reviews about La otra. I got in contact with one of the managers, Gustavo and he was very hospitable. When I got to La otra to celebrate my bday, he did not disappoint! The ambience was great and so were the people! I had an amazing night to remember! Thank you La Otra!

One of the best clubs out there no doubt, I would definitely recommend going if you want to have fun.

La Otra had about 10 couches set up, with small coffee tabes and cups on them, they were in the way. The cups kept getting knocked over. Then security would stack them again. Crazy! I told the security guy to get rid of little coffee tables, he didnt speak English. Also, this red bull and 10oz water was $31!!Finally, if youre going to open a club spend a few dollars on some lasers! They are not that expensive, I have them at my house. 2 stars because the djs I saw were very good, but this venue needs help.

Per owners response, dont come here on Thursday till 2am unless you wanna spend 30 dollars a drink waiting for hours, wondering if you have died and gone to some empty purgatory and wondering why you paid such a high cover so early. I really had fun before in this place But this last time i went. I paid 2 bottles and I never got a server. After 30 minutes being at the table they brought the bottles and the server didn’t do anything. My friend served all the drinks. And around 5 am they took everything away without even telling me. What a bad service! I’m really dissatisfied.

Very fun place. We went two nights back to back, first night dressed up, second night dressed casual. I didn’t experience any rude bouncers, everyone was respectful. It helps to purchase the tickets online in advance.Inside the music is reggeaton and the place lights up at around 1-2am. Outside they have electronic music.

The place looks nice but I went on a Friday and was empty since I got there at 12 am until 3:30 am when I left. One tequila shot 20 dollars, a water 10 dollars, a red bull $8. The cover was $20 for women and $30 for men. However I heard if you pay online it costs $25. No place to sit unless you reserve a table. The music was mostly Spanish (regueton, only regueton, no salsa, no merengue or anything like that) some house music too. The security always watching everything is ok, something really good in my opinion. They don’t give you wrist band at the door when you pay for entrance. I paid $60 for parking outside the place (no vallet). I know the place doesn’t assign prices for parking but just to be aware of the whole experience.

Summary: Stay away from here, we just left, this club promotes free entry at 12a but they just make ppl stand outside til after 12a so when they let them in they pay cover.Message to business: La Otra consider retraining your staff. We were in line before 12a when entrance is supposed to be free. The doorman opens the rope & we go up the stairs and the lady at the register tries to charge us entry. I told her we were there in line waiting but the doorman had the ropes closed, trying to build up a line & not let people pass in before 12a. She looks me in the eyes & says “no you weren’t, I was watching the line”. Meanwhile it was super clear from where she was standing that the doorman was forming the line by roping it off. Plus she was rude in addition to being in denial, or in on this play of having a fake line form outside to cause ppl to pay a cover. (She had straight hair slicked back dark brown/black hair in I believe a pony.. average looking.. clear skin.. wearing something butchy I think it was a suit or something I didn’t look closely— she just gave off masculine energy vibes she wasn’t like a dressed up sexy hostess or anything. Anyways don’t want to sound mean about her looks but just trying to describe her clearly so you can train her better or replace her. Oh and light skinned/pale ish… Latina or white. )

The promoter or bouncers were really rude… I just wanted to enter the club with a friend, but the didn’t like us, so the told us we have to go back in line and suddenly they increased the price. They did this on purpose, because they didn’t want us in the club. We were dressed really nice in shirt and good clothes but they were very rude the whole time so we decided to go somewhere else. And this is the best decision if the same bouncers are there!!!

I was just on the door of la otra, me and my friend paid to come in. What I found so rude and disturbing was the fact a Latina women in the front didnt like what she saw and didn’t let me in the club because they didn’t like what she saw. The discrimination I just experience and not even a refund was disgusting. The beautiful women in the front not only discriminated me but was on her phone the entire time ignoring us. La otra if you hold your self to a high standard learn how to be equal and not racist. I wish I give no star!!

Cute outdoor venue with a roof to protect you from light rain. I went to see a DJ, and the venue had everything plugged into the same breaker, so the music and lights kept shutting off randomly. It was not off for more than 3 minutes at a time, but it was still annoying. They just need to pay closer attention to their electrical setup next time. I was there last night for a dinner and dance show by Spectacle Entertainment. The dance show was amazing. The venue however, left much to be desired and was terrible. The main issue was the Poor Service by the Hostess and Management’s lack of concern to remedy their error. I arrived early and checked in. My tickets were scanned and I was told that the hostess would call us when ready to enter and be seated at our table. I asked if I needed any type of ticket, other than the event brite ticket I had, and the hostess confirmed I did not. Well, was she wrong! When it came time to be seated we were asked for table tickets, which we did not have because they were not given to us. The hostess even came over and attempted to push my wife from the table where she was seated!! We requested a manager several times and none came to resolve the situation. The argument continued for several minutes. To make matters worse, they had run out of tables. Finally, we were “rescued” by some friends who offered to have us share their small table. They never apologized for their mistake, including the hostess who apparently did not know how to do her job nor how to communicate. Management, you should be ashamed that you hid from your responsibility. I strongly suggest the dance company pick a better venue and ensure that the venue they choose treats their customers better.

Save your money and go elsewhere. If the girls at the front don’t like you or you’re not dressed like an instagram model they won’t let you in reservation or not. They told us we couldn’t go in because my friend was wearing sandals but were going to let other girls in with sneakers and sandals. I definitely let other people at the entrance know how discriminatory the tall blonde headed airbag hostess at the front is.Guess they like losing on money and business.

Amazing place! We reserved a table for a friends birthday party and was beyond imaginable. When we go there we were greeted by Oscar who took us to our table brought the servers and kept checking on us throughout the night. I usually dont write reviews but i had to on this one. I know everywhere you go you spend money and thats ok. I dont drink alcohol and I never in my life experienced yet that tiny bottle of water can cost way more then alcohol. I feel ripped of paying 15 $ dollars for tiny bottle, when you can purchase beers for 10. And its funny cos my friend went there Wednesday (its MMW) and said water was 5 or 6 $ on Wednesday. Other then that place was pretty nice, with outside patio. Shout out to the lady taking care of restroom. It was super clean

I was just here for a Miami Music Week party. This venue is amazing! Kind helpful staff. Great bartenders! They didnt over charge for drinks. They offered cups of water for free and had bottles of figi water for cheap. The outdoor area with big comfy couches was perfect for taking a break during this 8 hour party. They play the music outside so that you dont miss anything. I wasnt sure that I would party for 8 hours at one location but once I was inside I couldnt leave!

Was so excited to go for my birthday. Came up to the hostess to enter and she was so confused that we didn’t do a reservation. Fine we did a reservation right away for 15 mins later, waited for the time infront of them. 15 mins later we showed the security the reservation and the hostess shaked her head no and the security guard said I guess they think you don’t look adequate “enough”. If that was the case just tell us??? Don’t make us wait 15 mins to be rejected with a reservation and then reject us. The hostess was determined from the start not to let us in. Seems like management is their big problem. Don’t bother.

I purchased the tickets for La Otra on new years, we got there and didn’t let me or friends in, the bouncer said they oversold the event and we couldn’t go in. This absolutely ruined my new years. Very unprofessional and badly organized. The bouncer also pushed me back into the line when I tried to go up to talk to him, I got a huge bruise from that.

Went here for a private event on 11/5 that was scheduled to go till 10pm.. security started pushing us out promptly at 9:30pm and not only were they rude and abusive about it, I am currently on the phone with credit card company over fraudulent activity from this place!( was charged twice!! AND as if that wasn’t enough, my cc info was STOLEN here and someone attempted 2 $1,000 charges and other $200-500+ charges !!! )BEWARE! You have been warned!! Pay cash if you decide to even come to this shady place .Worst nightclub of Miami & Fake Reviews.

La otra is a great place to go with your friends. In my personal opinion it is the most underrated Latin party in Miami. It offers a diversity of space, fun, and rhythm to spend the night with other individuals. Turns out I end up going every Saturday because la otra never misses! Price on bottles and cover at the door is affordable for everyone, and security is always alert and results la otra in being a safe fun place to be with all your friends. Great way to end the week.

Too unnecessarily overpriced. The drinks are not even good enough. Serving in plastic cups and charging $30 for tequila sour that too with cheap tequila is ridiculous by any standards. Plus they charge $10 for water. Who does that.

Out of four times that I went only had one good experience. The other three were very disappointed. The last time it was a Saturday at 1am. It supposed to be packed. I asked if I can look inside for a moment; they didnt accept. I paid the fee $30. Once insidefew people were there. I stayed 5 minutes. I asked for a refund; they didnt accept. I asked to come back maybe two hours later; they didnt accept. I will not recommend this place at all.

If you are not brasilian don’t even bother!!!!! We had the worst time ever and it was my birthday. Expensive service and they lied to us, they told us the brasilian music was going to be there for an hour and it was all they played for the entire night. If i had known it was going to be this way i wouldn’t have purchased bottles at this place.

Recently had bought a ticket for an event they were having on eventbrite.. It was all over their instagram page! When we get there the hostess literally gaslighted us saying to request back our money because they had no clue about the event going on. MIND YOU my best friend had arrived 20 min earlier and they let her in and even scanned her ticket. Asked to speak to the manager and literally got ignored! They’re very disrespectful and clearly they’re as lost as anyone in the sea. They don’t know how to run a business.. First and last time they see me there

This is an ok club. The bouncers are really mean for no reason. I tried to protect my female friends from predatory men and got told off by the bouncers. Very concerning behavior for a nightclub.

This place is absolutely awful, pretentious,and rude. We bought a ticket for an event and still waited over an hour, while bouncers randomly let other people in. They turned away my boyfriend because they “didn’t like his shirt” (a nice button down) but he suspects racism because everyone they did let in looked the same–white and rich. They said they had “a certain look to maintain” I will never go here again and I’m angry I wasted money on this. I urge anyone thinking about it to avoid this place at all costs.

What a Gem!! I have lived in Miami my whole life.. and this place really makes its mark... its right on Brickell and I love that the entrance is kind of hidden. Like every Miami club they run a tight door but I think thats what makes it great.. this is Miami and I dont think we would have it any other way. Drinks are priced right and the staff is super nice and helpful!! Dress to impress and youll have a blast... also theyre open until very late!!!

If I could give a negative star I would. Bought $267 tickets for 2. 4 course meal with welcome drink &7:00pm arrival to be seated by 7:30 for the show. But...waited outside until 8:45. Got seated under a super strong warehouse type ac vent. Salad looked like it was but threw a blender. Ceasar 2 spoonful all mushy. Appetizer one per table even though I paid for 2 tickets. Bread crackers with pico de gallo sauce and guacamole. Show went on...More like a Circus then a Cabarets performance. Nothing to do with Las Vegas style. Rene Rodriguez is the producer. At 9:45 food came out. It was chicken breast with 3 long thick raw stems of asparagus and potatoes. All of it was COLD...No water was given!! UTENSILS WERE PLASTIC...YOU CAN NOT CUT COLD CHICKEN WITH THESE. So...We call the waiter and ask if he can warm up the food and he stated their was no possible way to do that. Food was catered. Asked if he could give us silverware to be able to cut the chicken. He stated thats all they had. Asked to speak to Rene Rodriguez who introduced himself at the beginning as the promoter, but after wait 10 minutes with no one address us my husband said...This is a total scam and they know it so no one is going to come talk to us and we got up and left. Not before the couple next to us told us this is the worst waste of money, dont feel bad look at my phone and she showed me a text she sent a friend. Save us some food this place sucks. I wrote to the eventbrite & contact Rene Rodriguez thru the app I purchased my tickets and no one has yet to reply. This show was horrible, food horrible and the lack of respect for the $267 plus $22 self valet & $21 per drinks x 2. Was so not worth it. So Beware of Any performance Rene Rodriguez is involved with.

La Otra has not been open that long to ignore people at the door. There are two lines one for table service and another for general admission.“Oscar” who runs the door thinks it’s LIV nightclub. There were people outside waiting to get in only to get ignored and having to wait just because. I am not sure if that is their marketing strategy to create an illusion that it is full inside. Once I was inside it was half full. I don’t understand why they would make it complicated to get in. People have no problem to pay general admission to get in and have a good time. As it was my first time coming there I was disappointed at the level of service at the door it was not welcoming at all.

Worst place ever. THEY ARE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. We bought tickets (2 months before) to spend our New Years Eve there and when we get there they did not allow us to enter. They didn’t say why we weren’t allowed to an event we had tickets for. Meanwhile, we saw how they allowed to enter about 6 large groups of people right in front of us. We waited AN HOUR AND A HALF to see if they would allow us to enter since all of our friends were already inside but they just didn’t. They ruined our New Years Eve. I’ve never felt so frustrated and disrespected in my life.Please do not support places like these.

Awful place, not parking, not street sign. they label you to see if you are going to spend or not at table and ask you to get up from chair if you are not willing to spend 1000 on a bottlenasty administration and in general the environment looks like a hood environment. everyone from same country or so, there is not diversity, is like they profile people their own country to go there

Not good at all. Side bar was way better. They will reject you at the door for wearing designer sneakers even when theres no one inside and the bar is located under the expressway next to a soccer field. Will be closed very soon, poor management.

Worst place in Miami! Got a reservation at 12:30 music was terrible they said the dj got “COVID”, they were supposed to closed at 5am, but the place was so empty they decided to closed at 3. They still wanted to me to pay for my two bottles services even that I had more of the bottles full and they decided to closed early. Managers were laughing staff was rude, would not recommend this place to anyone, there is a lot better places in Miami to spend your time and money!!

Feel free to drop by if you prefer getting interrupted in the middle of the party and bothered by bouncers for made up excuses. They targeted the colored people for wearing flip flops when all our none-color friends dressed the same way as we did. Also if flipflop had been a problem, we should have been stopped at entrance and not in the middle of the night. Worst experience.

This is the worst club in Miami by far. We had reservations for tonight, and when we arrived they were closed. No one informed us that the club was closed. We even had a confirmation for our table. We give them a call and explain what happened and they hung up on our face. I do not recommend this place to anyone who cares about great hospitality!!!!

I will be condecentent here, this place will not deliver what they meant to be. This place is not going to last. People will go there just once. It is shallow, outdated, same reggaeton. You may see fancy people but they all try to hide that back in Latin America they were all maids.

I was needlessly attack by their security goons. Would not recommend this place to anyone who values their life. Im currently taking full legal action against this establishment because no one should go through what i went throught with my friends for no reason. This establishment should be shut down!

Worst place ever never go there. A total discrimination!!! The host didn’t allow me to in even though I had a reservation for me and my girls. The dress code based on her words is wasn’t appropriate. Literally she underestimated me because of my clothes and my appearance.
