Don’t go here if you’re from out of town!! I had two guys starting stuff wanting to fight as soon as I sat down. Before I even got a beer. I just wanted to hear the band. I had two beers and left. Wasn’t worth getting in a fight which is obviously all a few of them wanted to do. Do NOT recommend!!

Popular local hole in the wall with good talent brought in to entertain patrons. Pool table and small dance area, as well as small outdoor area. Nothing fancy, for sure, but on the plus side, the drinks are not over-priced.

I could not stay because it was too smoky. Not a little bit Smokey... A lot to Smokey. I Im not from around here, and I truly thought that no one anywhere was allowed to smoke in a bar. And at first I thought it wouldnt be too bad of a problem to have a little bit of smoke around me. But the guy behind me was chain-smoking. The guy on the other side of me had at least four cigarettes in the hour and a half that I was there. Ill bet 90% of the people were smoking actively while I was there. Finally got to the point where my eyes were burning and my throat was irritated and I decided I had to leave. I wanted to hear the band, but could not stay longer. Very light crowd that evening, I think about 35 people, although I did leave early, dont know if it picked up later. Will say the bartenders were very friendly and efficient. Mixed drinks are served in a plastic cup, five bucks. Shots were a little cheaper in a little mini plastic cup. It was fairly dark inside so I couldnt tell if it was clean or not... Although probably its just as well it was dark, LOL. I was excited to have a blues bar local to where I am staying, but because of the smoke I really will not be able to go back.

I had only heard tales of this magical place, but wasnt sure what I was getting myself into when I arrived. I didnt see the name posted on any plaque outside the building, however, the vibe felt right even before entering. The lights were as low as the hum of casual conversations floating through the air. I was greeted with a smile as if I was an old friend, and a seat was made for me at the bar in an instant. With plenty of room to mingle, dance, ample seating, a fairly large stage and all the expected accouterment adorning its perimeter, this was certainly a chill place to party. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.

I found a new place tonight. I met some of the finest people I have met in my life tonight. The Halls and their friends are the salt of the earth. Service was fantastic. The music was like nectar poured in your ears. Outstanding layout for a business, indoor, outdoor and the backyard. There was music and food and 1st rate staff. You just earned a lifetime customer!! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Thank you Blues Tavern for a stupendous Monday evening of entertainment.

The place was very smokey, kinda stank, and charged me $2.00 for less than a can of coke, not worth the time to stay and play, which is a shame cause I finally had an open night not playing somewhere, and wanted to play the blues tavern! They missed a good show!

If you are ok with a smoking bar, this one is great! Cheap drinks, good music, good vibes. Stopped in on a road trip and felt very welcome by both the bartenders and locals.

Miss the old place. The vibe is no longer as relaxed, comfortable, and laid back as it used to be. And there is no longer good outdoor seating if you wanna enjoy fresh air and chill.

The atmosphere is good..a lot depends on the band that is playing..bartenders are friendly and attentive..owner is friendly as well

We was there on Friday for band Albert and the smoke section. Got to say band was awesome for having two guitarists filling. Staff at this tavern was great. Our drinks was spot on, and for having two bartenders our drinks never stayed low long. Will definitely go back to experience more bands!

Nice place with a diverse crowd. Monday nights with Kerrie are surprisingly busy. Theres a good selection of whiskey, rum, and domestic beer. No craft brews is the reason for not giving this place a higher rating. Decent 6ft pool table with some fairly talented and courteous players. Live music every night!!

Best Blues bar around! Really cool place. Also love the fact that they use Enviro-Master to deep clean and disinfect their common areas! The owner really cares about the health and safety of his staff and customers!

Smoking is allowed, but their ventilation system does a good job of keeping up! The music has been great whenever I was there. Friendly staff!

Blues Tavern is a place that I have never been before. I have, though, been to their website at a time that I was looking for a place that my band could play. I became a member on their website so I could get updates about bands and maybe booking info. Well, that was a mistake. The site will not let me unsubscribe and if you look at the members of the site, they are 90% non-USA. These are mostly identity theft and hackers trying to get info on the other users of the site. Blues Tavern has no security on their website which makes it a nice dipping pool for hackers and con artists to get your email address and to possibly find a way to look at more personal information about you. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS WEBSITE. I have written the owners of Blues Tavern and informed them of this problem, but they dont seem to care. STAY AWAY.

Like the name says... Its a Blues Tavern. Blues and beer... A great combination. Live music most nights, especially weekends. Down home friendly staff and service.

Awesome place I have been working here almost a year an out of all bars I have worked at I have 2 say I love my job never any problems the customers are great an my boss rocks when I came to work here they treated me like family .......they couldnt run me away
