April is the best therapist ever!!! She is the only reason why I have a membership.

Go see MARK!I am going to start and say I am not a Massage Envy fan. Nothing is wrong with it, service is good, and the membership was good. However, The massages were mediocre at best. If you found a decent therapist, they did not stay very long.Yesterday, I went to Massage Envy not as a member. I have pinched something in my neck and I was in excruciating pain. I could not find an appointment anywhere. Luckily Massage Envy was able to find an open appointment for me. MARK does not provide a cookie cutter, out of a textbook, massage. Mark knows his stuff. Mark gave me a massage experience that you truly need when you are in pain or you have tight joints and muscles. It felt as if I was working with a physical therapist instead of a massage therapist. That is how impressive he was. I never take the time to write reviews on google, but I felt the need to promote him and share how amazing he was for anyone that may possibly benefit from a true deep tissue massage. Not the deep tissue massages most massage therapist claim to give.I can say that this massage is not for the faint of hearts. It can be painful trying to get muscles to release, but Mark talked me through it!I have been getting massages for over 10 years now. Mark is the man!

I have been getting massages for over 6 years, and I have to say that Mark has helped me get my shoulder moving better in one session. One session!I havent been able to move my shoulder properly for the past 3 years and he knew exactly which muscles to target, unlike all of the masseuse/ masseur Ive seen in the past. My low back and hips were in much less pain I cant believe it.His consultation was very thorough and this has to be the BEST massage I have ever had. The kind of work he does is not what your average therapist brings to the table. This guy is LEGIT! I will definitely be getting more work done before and after my competitions.Thank you, Mark!

It has been a while since I last booked a session. I was definitely overdue for some therapy so I booked an appointment with Amber on 1/28/2023. As usual, we did the brief consult at the beginning. I told her what areas I’d like the most time spent on. My typical pressures are medium to firm. Throughout the whole 90 minutes, I was completely relaxed. Amber was very intentional with her therapy. I could feel my tension melting away in real time and still feel the effects a day after. I am sore in the best possible way. My outcomes include: increased range of motion, released tension, better posture, enhanced ability to connect the muscle to the mind, etc. I am highly impressed and satisfied with Amber and her work and would recommend her to anyone. The staff working the front desk deserve praise as well. They were also pleasant and fun to interact with both checking in and checking out. And, as usual, the space was clean, tidy, and zen. 5/5.

This was my first trip to Massage Envy. The young lady at the front greeted me and helped with any questions I had in completing the required forms. I had the pleasure of having April provide the massage. She was very professional but also very pleasant. April made my first massage in many years a very comfortable and pleasant experience. Im happy to know I can ask for her the next time I go back.

Erika was very sweet and welcoming. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable. I recommend people to ask for her. I had a prenatal massage so she made sure she was very careful with me. And she also recommended me to come back after the baby to get a deep tissue massage because I had a knot in my shoulder but Im definitely coming back

Great Experience here 1st Time!!! Lauren & Dailyn (Front Desk) are very informative & answered all my questions. I was convinced to get an membership. My Massage Technician (Shanta) did such an awesome job with my Deep Tissue Treatment. Being a Road Warrior (Traveler) I suggest this location of Pinebrook for any Self-Therapy. I enjoyed & that for letting me know about the many locations of Massage Envy !!!

April was amazing. This was my first massage so I was nervous but she made me feel comfortable instantly. And the massage was great. She paid attention to everything I mentioned to her. It was so peaceful!

Erika was absolutely incredible. I have been going to Massage Envy for over a year and while I have my favorite therapists, she has rapidly become my number 1. Absolutely love her. Clean environment and friendly staff. Would recommend 10/10!!!

My experience was nice but the intensity was rather on the light side for me. I appreciate the late appointment. My preference is medium to firm as with Erica, typically. Shanta is sweet and, again, I appreciated her accepting the appointment.

I rarely ever write a review for anyone, however, Charity truly defined what a facial (massage) should be! I always heard the term facial, but in the middle of this facial, I realized it was a facial massage and totally different than anything else I experienced before. Absolutely remarkable! Other people have used products in the past that have left my face stinging or burning. When I left Charity, my face felt moisturized and calm. This is an experience you dont want to miss!

April is a great asset to Massage Envy. I have been coming to her for nearly 2 years since my last car accident. I have been a member of Massage Envy for over 4 years and I have visited several different locations within Alabama and hands down she is the BEST. She is very attention to detail and aims to please all her clients service requests during your visit. I was planning to cancel my service plan due to the increase in fees this year but Aprils kindness and gratitude convenience me to change my mind. After I left yesterday my lower back and hip pain has felt better. I recommend April for a Bonus and or a raise. 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed.

It takes a dedicated therapist , Anthony, to make sure that the knots and stresses that made you make an appointment are taken care of during his client’s appointment. That’s what I got when I visited Massage Envy. From the bright smile that greeted me to leaving with less pain and tension…:))

Saveria gave me my first ever massage and I absolutely loved it! She was so kind and has such a relaxing and healing aura I was so comfortable with her immediately as she shook my hand and greeted me before I even made it to the room! This location isn’t my home membership(Yes I’ve had a membership for about half a year now and hadn’t gone yet because I moved and changed jobs so I’ve been too busy) but my location was booked so I got an appointment at this one and I believe it might’ve been some higher power putting her energy in my life when I need it most so I’m really considering going to this location regularly just to have her service. She was amazing and I highly recommend her x1000.

Amber gives a great massage. I was a little disappointed bc I bought a monthly membership. Upon signing up, they said I could give my hour to someone else for the month if I didn’t use it. I gave my husband 2 of my months. Now they tell me I can only give it to the same person every 6 months. I would not have signed up if I knew that.

April, Erika, and Julia are my go to’s! They’re amazing, wonderful, apply the perfect amount of pressure, and make me feel soooooo relaxed during my visit. I feel like a million bucks when my session is over. Highly recommend them!

Beware! They will try to trick you into a membership. They will say it is easy to cancel. If you try to a make an appointment it is impossible to get one. But they will charge your card anyway. It is impossible to cancel your membership even if you call or email them.

April was excellent and listened to what I needed most. I have rheumatoid arthritis and she was very cautious and attentive to detail and what I needed. Will definitely be returning to see her again.

My massage with Julia was very relaxing and thorough. She is very good at working out the sore spots without hurting me. Julia is very good with all levels of pressure. She has helped keep my body from getting too stiff over the last several months. She has taught me some stretches and tricks to help with leg cramps. Thank you Julia for doing such a good job.

Last minute I decided to grab a massage while on the vacation in Mobile. The wait at home to schedule a massage can be 4-6 weeks, between 3 locations. What a great treat! I felt like a wet noodle at the end of my session with April. It was a great way to kick off my vacation! I wish I could convince April to relocate :)

This used to be one of our favorite places, so much so, that my wife and I had monthly prepaid memberships. I dont know what happened but they have called and cancelled our last 4 appointments. I understand things happen, but we have paid for the last 4 months of massages, of which THEY cancelled and rescheduled another month out. Meanwhile, if we dont use our credits, WE LOSE THEM! We have been TRYING to use them! So basically they have been charging us for services NOT rendered and they owe us nothing! Thats called Theft!

I love Massage Envy but to wait until the day of to send me a text message to say that my appointment was canceled while Im in route to the facility has utterly disappointed me to no end. Ok if you couldnt leave a voice-mail last week then it probably would have been wise to send a follow up text last week instead of an hour before my massage. Now having to find other plans for my moms birthday. 🙄🤨😐For this location...please work on your systems and processes because this is really unacceptable.

1 hour massage Appt was at 9am. They were prompt taking me back. Massage started at 9:05 and was done by 9:50am so technically a 45 min massage. Walked out at 9:53am and was called back due to owing $5. Masseuse was nice she just didn’t target areas I asked!

The experience was great. This was my first massage and it was very relaxing. The staff members were very nice and me and my girlfriend really enjoyed it. The environment was very relaxing and the massage was great. I usually have a lot of tension in my upper back/shoulder area but after the massage I was shocked how all the stress and tension went away and stayed away for a long time. I didnt know it was possible to feel stress free like this. They really get down deep in places that are hard to reach. Their introductory prices were great and Im looking forward to visiting again. I read some of the other reviews here and most seem to be about a bad experience with the memberships, We didnt sign up for a membership so I cant speak on that part but youll absolutely love the massages.

Tonya always does a great job. I use her for both stretching and massage. I chose her because she is very safety cautious and continues to wear a mask to prevent spread of illness, and I appreciate that very much.

My husband and I went in for a couples massage for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My therapist April, was very informative, professional, and thorough. My husband had Tomeka and she was just as thorough. I would definitely request and recommend these two if you are in the Mobile area

A very relaxing environment but on our way there we were running late. They told us we couldnt move out appointment time and that there is a 50% cancellation fee and if were late it cuts into our massage time. We were pretty frustrated trying to get there and stressed when we finally did because we felt like they absolutely wouldnt work with us. I do recommend this place but then again I dont know what else is out there. It truly is so relaxing but I think they could do things a little different.

They were misleading about price and then didnt offer any way of compensation for the confusion. Bought a gift card for Fathers day and when he went to make the appointment over the phone he was told 100 dollars for the 2 hours, but when he got there they made him pay double than what he was originally told. Ridiculous!

For what I paid I dont feel it was worth it. I have been brused for the last week and in worse pain from when I went in. I tried to make conversation while I was there and was basically forcing a conversation with the therapist. I will not be going back and will find another place with better hospitality and results then with them.Dont do their review they showed no concern and charged me close to 400 for my massage by 4x charging my card I got my money back when I talked to my CC company.

AMBER IS A GODSEND!!!!I was rear ended in 1997. I have been diagnosed with “rotator cuff injury”, “inner tissue damage” and “carpal tunnel on both sides” since that date. I have seen drs, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and quite a few other masseurs in the past. Not one other “professional” in my life in the Orlando, FL area where the injury occurred nor here in Mobile, AL has been able to find the exact injury nor even really begin to treat it properly and relieve the constant pain and discomfort.MY FIRST VISIT WITH MISS AMBER CHANGED MY LIFEThe very first appointment I was very nervous and concerned, I’ve invested a lot of time and $ in the past for a life with constant headaches, problems lifting things, difficulties with any kind of cleaning with fingers locking up, even trying to open or lift a gallon of milk or individual drink is a battle for me for years.This ANGEL had HIS HEALING HANDS work from my neck thru back into shoulders and gee, there were definitely times it hurt, but as she got into my shoulder area, THERE IT WAS, the exact spots creating all my problems. I am convinced she located my injury. She named the muscles she was working on as she continues to ease the injury. I was SO GLAD to be blessed, I can’t scream it loud enough.We finished that session and I had another appointment scheduled for the next day. By the end of the first appointment, we had located an injury I had for decades, don’t get me wrong I still wasn’t like brand new and still was sore from the first visit, but certainly looked forward to the next day.By the time I got there the next day, I was feeling a lot more at ease in my entire neck and shoulder region than I have felt for years. When she went to work on my on shoulder area, I had NO pain. I couldn’t believe it, the day before when she found it and worked on it, I definitely was dealing with feeling it for sure. On the second day, I was amazed. The massage was relaxing, peaceful relieving to all my muscles in and out. The best massage session I’ve ever experienced.I am still shocked to this day, it’s been about 2 months since that first visit with Amber. I haven’t been able to get back to her often enough to keep the tension gone in my neck to keep the headaches completely gone, but I have been able to clean without locking up, I have not dealt any pain shooting down my arms from my shoulders, I haven’t had problems opening my drinks when I’m on the road. Life is good.Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!

Ive always had a great experience here. I have probably gotten a dozen massages and have never had a single complaint. Each massage therapist is different but they are good at gearing the therapist towards what you prefer ie: high pressure or relaxation. This isnt somewhere I would necessary go for a luxurious experience, as it is pretty standard. However, for a much needed massage every now and then it is perfect.

My massage with Anthony was awesome. I went in with a lot of pain and came out pain free and feeling very relaxed!

I did not get to have an experience here because the receptionist acted so UGLY and UNHELPFUL like I was bothering her asking about appointment times. JENNA needs a course in customer service before she answers another call. I have since made an appointment with the most helpful young lady at a different location. Thank for nothing Jenna!

The staff failed to explain the companies cancellation policy when booking services. I was told they needed a card on file to book the requested service. when I called in advance I was then told that I would be charged 100% of the fee. I was told someone called but no message was left. This is bad business when a company is not upfront about fees and policies.

April and Amber are wonderful! Very skilled professionals, who take the time to listen and provide a plan that ensures a positive experience!

I went for a second visit today. I had a different girl, Amber. we started at 9:05 and ended at 9:55 so my 60 minute massage was only a 50 minute massage. I was not happy about that. also, I put on my paperwork I wanted a medium pressure and told her my problem areas. Instead I got more of a swedish massage with no presser and she only spent a few minutes on my back when I said that was the biggest problem area. it wasnt horrible but Im wouldnt go back.

We have attempted couples massages on four separate occasions. One great massage and one horrible one. The girl was massaging the top boney part of my hand. Ouch! We came in yesterday to give them another shot and all of the employees looked like they didnt take care of themselves. We felt like we were going to a massage in prison! After 15 minutes of waiting after our appointment time we realized this wasnt the place for us and canceled the appointment and asked to cancel our membership. The teenage girl running the front desk somehow took this personally and got a major attitude verses, Im sorry, what happened or how can we adjust our practices to save you as a customer. This reiterated that we made the right decision leave this place. Obviously theyre business model doesnt cater to higher clientele. :( I hope management takes a look at the reputation the business is establishing and retrains on customer service but Massage Envy has lost a customer and our referrals

Abbie is always cheerful and knowledgeable. She is always ready to adapt to various kinds changes and needs.

Do not come to this facility they will not honor your agreement they will tell you one month that you have honored your contract automatically renew your contract with out your signature. They have something with the bank that you use that will send them your new card information even if you cancel the card. The first massge will be the best one you get as the rest they will not honor the time and always short you. The manager is terrible and unprofessional .

The facial was really nice. She did talk the whole time but I tend to chat too. They always try to sell you products but thats their job. They get this score because this manage was so rude on two occasions. I had a $100 gift card, then I scheduled at wrong location by accident-the cashier that day said it was ok to reschedule because I got confused. I come back. Manager says I have no money on card and I need to pay. Argument ensues and finally she said I had a credit after 20 min. Come back for facial. Girl says yes you have a credit. After facial same manager is very rude says I have no credit. I walk out. Two minutes later she calls (no apology) whoops card was from different location. Im tracking down the franchise owner that manager should be fired.

Tonya is absolutely the best massage therapist there is. Her techniques are phenomenal. Nobody else compares.

I called to schedule a couples massage 4 days prior to my arrival. When I got there to check in, I told them I had reserved a couples massage and they told me I didnt schedule one, it was only scheduled for one person. I asked them why would I only book for one person; obviously, they didnt pay me any attention over the phone. They didnt try to accommodate me in anyway. They are very unethical and I will never come back again.

I like to relax, but in my massage I need maintenance. Massage Envy offers the best of both worlds, massage and facials. I can relax in my facial and get the work I need done in my massage. The facials also leave my skin looking healthy and refreshed! I was so impressed when I went the first time, they offered both services at a low rate and I could get them done the same day. I didnt even have to change rooms. After my services were done the front desk girls took care of me. They set me up with a monthly wellness plan so that I could continue getting massage and facials at a discounted rate because I am a member. T

Today my husband and i went in for a day of relaxation and we recieved an hour of annoyance. Being a happy spirit, i am not the one to complain but only to address and bring awareness to important issues and situations as such. Today was very disappointing. The therapist seem to be afraid to do their job which is to massage. At the end when asked how was it, we both explained that it was not even ok. My back was now hurting. In which it wasnt before and im clearly not relaxed. My husband had the same complaint. They expressed that an hour is not enough time to do their job and recommend ninety mins. In which i thought an whole hour was well enough time especially for the price they charge. And to add insult the lady that checked us out nasty cassie. Was so uninviting. We stood their and she said nothing. Im like excuse me is everything ok. She says im just waiting on you, with a frown on her face. I look at my husband and ask, did i say something wrong honey, he said no baby. I dont know whats wrong with her. The service, customer service today was horrible and clearly unacceptable to any client. I do not recommend this facility and i give it no stars. I would suggest in changing managers for this store and replace therapist that are not afraid to do their job. This review is absolutely necessary and i hope you take in consideration.

I just had the worst experience with Kim (she refused to give me her last name) at this Massage Envy. I came in on the 20th to place my membership on hold. On the 22nd, I noticed I was still charged. When I called in to get clarification, I was asked to speak with Kim. When I told her about the charge, she told me that she assumed I knew that my account was charged on the 20th of each month. I asked her why as a manager would she say that to me and why as a manager would she assume her customers would know something. My bank reflected a draft on the 22nd of each month. What was so awful was that I had to tell her to apologize that this had happened to me. Then she said, Im sorry. What happened to simply saying to your customers, I am sorry? What is the world coming to? When I mentioned again the need for managers to respect customers feelings, she said, I already told you Im sorry. What is happening with this place? Your job depends on my service.

Second time Ive booked here and the therapist cancelled hours before my appointment. Still havent been but I think its a little unprofessional. Secondly I think its a bit wild that they are sure to warn you of you cancel the appointment you still get charged the full amount but the therapist can do whatever. I guess Ill be booking at battlehouse next time.

April paid attention to detail. My thoracic mobility after my session is the best in years!!!

The massage was ok ! Jay and April are great! Whatever you do dont sign up for membership. My bank cancelled my debit card due to a compromise in security at Target. My membership payments were drafted on the third of each month from the card that is now cancelled. One day later on the forth Massage Envy was calling me as if I was late for a car note!!!! I was harassed before I could even get another card mailed from my bank. I went ahead and paid out the membership, never to deal with this company again. ENJOY YOUR MASSAGE BUT NEVER EVER SIGN UP FOR MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!

Unauthorized renewal of yearly agreement. Added additional months to my agreement even though I have cancellation agreement to prove that I ended my contract in. Manager is no help. You will have to be a fool to use this place its just a worthless subscription and wast of time & money. Massages sucked even had to get a refund of last visit.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! IVE NEVER SEEN ANY PLACE LIKE THIS..MANAGER IS VERY RUDE !!!!! This is the most HORRIBLE massage place EVER !! All they wanted to do is f***ing charge you monthly. I was in a 6 months contract because they offer a free massage monthly but after 6 months i had cancel because of their how their attitude and salon is not very accommodating. Comes to find out they still charging to my back account every month even though i had cancel and had sign the paperwork to cancel. I came up to the salon and they said they couldnt find any paperwork that i had cancel and their only statement for the whole 3 months keep charging my account was we cant do anything about it.. how can you have a business and cant do anything about the account ??? This place is ridiculous!! i will seriously not recommend this place to ANYBODY but also to tell everyone i know to stay away from this place not just this location in MOBILE,AL but anywhere. Once they get ahold of your credit card number, regardless if you have sign an agreement or not you account will be charge monthly. Even if you have cancel or inform them about the problem, or change bank/credit cards they will call you bank and ask for your bank information and charge your account again!!
