AVOID THIS PLACE!! This was a horrible experience from the moment I got there. First, I was told that they were renovating and a lot of the rooms didnt even have TVs in them, no fridge or microwave, then I was told that the smoking room I had booked for two nights was not available, and for some stupid reason they couldnt switch me from 2 double beds to 1 king. Then, I was asked to make a $50 deposit (cash only), and the only ATM was down the street. None of this was on their website. Being tired from driving all day, I went ahead and stayed anyway. The room was disgusting! Nothing had been wiped down, it looked like the room above mine had flooded and water was pooling in the ceiling, bathroom was so gross i avoided it at all cost, there was what looked like vomit all over the stairs, and it stunk. Upon check out/ inspection to get my deposit back, I was then charged $10 per night for my service dog, after I was told service dogs were free when I checked in. When I brought that up to the very rude gentleman working there, and pointed to the sign stating so, he told me it was because my German Shepherd shed too much, and only gave me $30 of my deposit back. How are you going to charge me for dog hair when the room wasnt even clean when I arrived??? I want ALL of my money back!
If I could give this place negative stars I would!! This place should be named OH HELL NO instead of OYO. After paying for the room in full when I made my reservation they required a CASH deposit of $50 which my boyfriend had to go get from another ATM because the one they have in the lobby doesnt work! When we got to our room it was hot as hell so we turned the temp down on the AC thinking it would cool off... NOPE me and my boyfriend had to take cold showers just to cool ourselves off because we were sweating the whole time. There is a TV in the room but it doesnt work so that was useless. There is no Minifrig, and no microwave so we drank hot drinks and couldnt even fix the food we had brought with us. I had to walk all the way down to the office to ask for towels because there were NONE in the room. We were in a smoking room which is on the THIRD floor because that is the only place they have smoking rooms (oh and there arent even the little ashtrays to use in the smoking rooms)so if you have a bad knee like I do its HELL. On the website it shows a pool on the property... Also a LIE the hole in the ground that USED to be a pool was black and green disgusting. I will NEVER stay here again and I will be telling EVERYONE I know not to stay here either!!!! Like I said if I could give negative stars I would give this place negative one million stars!!!
I will never stay at this hotel again. On our way to Florida, we needed a place just to sleep for the night. I was upset that we had to leave a $50 (cash only) deposit and had to go to an atm down the street. After driving all day, I was too exhausted to to care. The room was not clean, had roaches, bathroom was filthy, writing all over the walls, broken mirror above sink, no doorknob to bathroom door at all, AC did not keep room cool, no towels on room at all, bed was uncomfortable, and no tv, fridge, microwave or anything. We were lucky to even have toilet paper and it was half a roll, and a small bar of soap, and nothing else in room. We were ready to leave as early as possible. The lady that checked me.out was mad, because I was checking out before she was making her rounds. Im sorry to disturb you, but we had to leave. I am surprised I received my deposit back. I will not be back at this hotel and do not recommend at all.
Stayed on 6/28/24. Room was smaller than expected, no towels, no working tv due to renovations, pool was empty, no working elevator, no ice machine, ac in room was not working correctly it was blowing towards floor, not sure how clean the room actually was because the floors were horrible havent been swept or mopped. Front desk workers were extremely rude, and must put down surprise $50 cash only deposit before being allowed into room that is already paid for. Also no working ATM to even get cash! I will never be back!

There is a super 8 in WALKING distance from this hotel, BOOK AT SUPER 8 it’s one minute from this hotel!!!!!!The staff was COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT. the lady at the front desk was so rude, mumbled under her breath nasty things. The guy who took over after catching him outside smoking marijuana, who is the property “manager” told me I would get my FULL refund. NOW THEY DONT EMAIL BACK!Once being told about how the place was SHOT UP, had NO ac in 98 degree weather, no microwave/fridge. Pool was completely slimy and green with no water inside, doing “renovations” for over a year now as it seems by other reviews. Rusted poles laying on the ground, bullet holes in the windows!! Doors was not shutting properly. Ceiling was falling in, no ice or laundry! I didn’t even give them my deposit!! Nor stay with this company I feared for mine and my children’s lives. The place is so unsafe and unsanitary!! Do not book with this company. I will be taking them to small claims court. Bc I do have pictures to prove and a video of the guy saying I’ll get my money back and then was denied my refund after reaching out to the support team. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean, however TV did not work and No microwave. You have to ask front desk for towels and toiletries. Hotel staff did not empty trash cans in hall ways for 1 week, so trash was falling out of all bins located around the hotel. No laundry facility. The pool was empty with residual green slime water. Location is great just off highway but overpriced due to the hotel not having adequate resources, which are advertised online. Quiet location but not worth the stay!
This place is garbage. Basic things like towels you can only get on certain days. There were no towels in my room when I checked in and went to the desk to get towels, and she told me I couldnt get towels until Thursday. So if I didnt bring my own, I would be drying off with my clothes. The basic amenities listed on their website they dont have. No ice machine, elevator doesnt work, no television. Everything is broken. And they claim they are renovating, but I havent seen anyone fixing anything. Staff is rude and incompetent, and the pictures online are misleading. They wont honor third-party bookings if they feel the price is too low and will not issue any refunds. They wont honor the booking if you book in the app either. Pay a few more bucks and stay elsewhere.
Okay so let me start by saying if I could give zero stars I would because this hotel is HORRIBLE. The pictures on here were definitely stolen from another location or Hotel because there was nothing nice about it. They did not inform me until we were checked in that they were under construction and had no TV and no microwave but because I had no time to book anything else I said okay Ill still try it out. THEN we get in the room and the hell really begins, There was a gap under the door which we had to stuff a blanket under to keep rain and bugs out the room, They didnt give us toilet paper or towels so I had to go to Walmart and purchase some. Half the outlets didnt work, matter of fact we had only had ONE that worked, the bathroom was DISGUSTING! And again nothing was as pictured! Well today there was a shooting and the shooter was in the next room to us and that was the final straw, I had to find another hotel. The front desk clerk lied to us about the man who was shooting even though we already knew and he refused to at least reimburse for the days I wouldnt be there and for the troubles. I plan on reporting this business and will NEVER stay there or recommend them again! Very ticked off.
This nasty hotel its located in an area that is questionable considering a police officer told my grown children it wasnt safe to be outside in the area after dark and strongly suggested they go in. There were roaches scattering when we opened the door to the first room and its nonrefundable so I went to ask for bug spray. The guy at the front desk wasnt happy and said we dont have bugs. I showed him pictures. The lower level has busted and boarded up windows. The steps are rotting away and rickety. The balcon railing was rusted through and had a 2x4 attached to keep it in place. When we got another room, the toilet overflowed. They charged us an unexpected deposit of $50/room that was cash only and they conveniently have an ATM in the office. No towels in the rooms, The air conditioner quit working in one of the rooms. The morning attendant when we checked out argued with me that I didnt pay, its a good thing I kept my receipts and emails. Spring break vacation was foiled. I have requested a refund. Dont stay there.
Location was nice service was horrible they could have told us they was renovating no fridge or microwave or towels in the room! Then trying to make me pay for my service dog which they didn’t I raised hell! The elevators are broke the stairs are not sturdy either! The hotel looks nothing like it does on site I would avoid this place!! And saw roaches and no cold water in the shower!! No tv either or ice machine etc. honestly not sure how yall are even opened and legal!!
This place is overpriced, the place is dirty and falling apart, reserved a room with 2 beds on 1st floor (handicap accessible) they gave us ( 4 people) 1 bed on 3rd floor ( elevator did not work) pool was green and full of trash, steps going up was rusted and falling apart, dead grass up to my knee caps, room had roaches, no towels or toilet paper, no microwave, no refrigerator, there was a TV but no cable, and wifi barely worked. They tried to keep our deposit and we called the cops to get it back. Dont be fooled by the oyo motel pictures online its false advertising!
Never in my life experienced anything like this.Worst hotel ever, super dirty and full of roaches. After I went to the room and told the attendant I was leaving and showed him the video I took he said he would refund my 3 nights stay, guess what? I had made my reservation through Priceline and I was just informed that the hotel refused my refund.I had stayed in OYÓ in different locations and never had this issues and that is why I decided to stay there for this trip.What a mistake I make trusting the guy I would be refunded.If you don’t like roaches and dirty hotels with bad customer service don’t stay here.
I booked this room on Priceline for three days July 9 through the 12th of 2024. After driving for 6 1/2 hours from Nashville, Tennessee, me and my 13 year-old son arrived at the hotel to check in. After already having paid for three nights, the person behind the counter informed me there were no microwaves, refrigerators, cable, Wi-Fi, the power would be going in and out throughout the night, and it was a $50 cash deposit but the ATM did not work. I booked this room plenty in advance that someone from the hotel could’ve contacted me letting me know this before waiting until I was there to check in because within 24 hours of your arrival date, you were not going to get a refund. This feels like entrapment on the highest level , I called Priceline to get a refund. They attempted to reach out to the hotel and did not get a response. I have been waiting four days to hear from Priceline about a refund for a hotel That I never stayed at due to false advertisement. after reading some of the reviews on here, I should have known better than to reserve a room at this hotel. Shame on Priceline for keeping this on their website for people to continue to get ripped off by shame on this hotel for not contacting people that made reservations to let them know in advance so they could book a more accommodating hotel. Not only was I out $300 because of this hotel I had to come up with another $150 to book 3 nights at another hotel. I would never in my life, make reservations here again and in the future, I plan on using a different website than Priceline.Update: after finally getting in contact with upper management, I sent picture proof that we were in a completely different hotel. However, this hotel is now changing their story and claiming that I actually checked in and stayed three nights in two different cities in two different hotels and is refusing a refund!!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!
I made 2 reservations online for this hotel. Paid for them with my debit card. One for 55.00 and the other for 65.00 when we arrived at the hotel to check in. The guy at the front desk told me that I had to pay cash. Because it didn’t show that I had paid for them. I showed him that they took the money from my bank account already but he still wouldn’t give my family our rooms. We left and went to a hotel right up the road. I called customer service and they assured me that we would receive a full refund for the inconvenience. But I have not received a single dollar back.. this place scammed me.
I attempted to stay at this hotel during the Fourth of July weekend, and made a reservation over the phone. The staff was extremely unprofessional, Offensively rude, this place deserves to be shut down. Don’t spend your money here. Somebody needs to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
The room was a mess the toilet didnt work. they didnt have towels in the bathroom.The tv didnt work I was told that I should have brought my Roku. The room had bad smell. The lady at the desk had a attitude and the owner .
Absolutely HORRIBLE, when I checked in I was told TV didnt work and still got charged full price. Went to my room opened My door to roaches everywhere on the bed in the tub on the counters no smoke alarm or sprinkler so youll literally burn to death. I dont no recommend. This is absolutely horrible
To anyone that thinking about booking here i advise not go to this place! a week ago me and my boyfriend booked a one bedroom for 2 nights through online for $117. we came yesterday to get our room and we were told our room isn’t on the system plus i am underage (understandable), so we was given the customer service number (didn’t answer) so i chose to change the name to my boyfriend’s but it still wasn’t approved so my boyfriend had to pay for another room which was $130 plus a $50 deposit. we walked into this $180 hotel room and there’s already alot of problems, ALOTS of roaches, no tv, major of the lights wasn’t working plus the air conditioner is broken. it hasn’t been a day and it’s literally the worst hotels we ever been to and it will most definitely be our last time coming. we spend a total of $296.71 to this hotel just to have roaches and an uncomfortable experience.
This hotel is a scam palace, payed 325 for a week and they claimed that I only paid 231 and charged me an additional 90 to check in making my total 415. I did check my bank and it said I was charged 325 initially, the hotel receipt shows prepaid 231 and an additional cash of 90. They claim the extra cost is because the rooms are newly renovated but thats a flat out lie, the room is clapped out and missing the microwave plus the fridge and ac are both broken and they hotel has denied a new room because of the broken items and just said maintenance will be there tomorrow to fix it. Do not stay here, I booked this thru my companies program and they will be removing this hotel from their site to prevent future scams of their employees. If this is not resolved I will charge back the entire amount and my bank will 100% side with me on this issue. Customer service is a joke here. Ive included the hotels version of the receipt showing they charged my card 231 and an additional 89 cash, my bank clearly shows I was charged 325 and then an additional 89 on top, GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK SCAMMERS!!!Edit: I was also charged a 50 dollar cash deposit that was not disclosed until there in person. Staff is rude and careless on top of that. Room is extremely dirty and poorly maintained, charging for these rooms should be criminal, you should have to pay people to stay there not the other way around. Fear factor really missed a golden opportunity not using this place as a set. Wont be long before someone burns the place down, the world will be a better place when oyo is no longer open.
Stay far far away from here..We have had nothing but issues with our room..We checked in last night and the air really doesnt work right in said room and have been waiting since 2am for our room to be changed as we paid for a king room and got stuck in a room with 2 full beds and the fact of no microwave at all in any room so we have no way to even heat up a frozen dinner if we wanted to go that route to even eat..The only reason our current room is cool is because of a large tote lid to get the said air to go above the beds to even cool off the room even though it is set on 66 degrees we did nothing but sweat until my husband did the tote lid this morning..The fact that they are allowing people to stay in said rooms is actually wrong..Especially with no smoke detector in said room if I could post said pics of a couple of the issues I have stated I would..It is that bad and yet we paid for a entire month and want to honestly check out and get our money back for the time we have stayed here so we can go back to our house and pay our bills there and wait to come back down to here to live for good..
Stayed here in Nov. Finally able to sit and leave a real review. Was traveling to North Carolina and back to Texas on our way back driving at night in a rain storm exhausted and needing to rest for our long drive back to Texas OYO was the first hotel we see ...like an oasis in the desert we stopped by to rent a room for a few hours of sleep. Booked a room online made our way to the hotel at around midnight for a shower and a few hours of sleep. Front desk clerk was horrible with customer service was not told about a cash deposit and no atm available to withdraw money at the time....had to go back out and look for a gas station to get cash. Came back to hotel was told no tv, no microwave, no refrigerator...room was on third floor ...found stairs to climb and they had caution tape wrapped around them rusty as all sin and ready to fall with a strong wind, hall way down to get to the room smelled like urine at every corner had broken toilets on the walk way with trash inside of them the strong smell or urine drafted through the walk way on our way to our room ..got to room and was met by the worst hotel in history. Dirty floors dirty sheets one towel for 3 people to shower with no soap shampoo and less than a half a roll of toilet paper. Was scared to not wear shoes while we showered. Cigarette burns on toilet seat in bath tub and on sink. Dirty floors from the front door to the restrooms. Was scared to catch something sleeping in the beds. Ran down to our vehicle to grab our own sheets and blankets to be able to get some type of rest. My wife didnt sleep a wink that night because the door didnt lock properly and had a gap at the bottom of it where the rain was seeping in through. The air-conditioning was non Existent luckily it was cold outside so that helped a bit. Next morning time to check out walked into the front lobby to the worker throwing clipboards, paperwork, pens her purse etc around the lobby and a horrible attitude when I asked where I needed to sign while I checked out. Had to wait for her to go check the room to be able to get my cash deposit back. Do not stay here...fear for your safety, catching bed bugs and no telling what else. Will never not tell people about this hotel and our experiences here DO NOT STAY HERE ITS DISGUSTING DIRTY AND NOT SAFE IT NEEDS TO BE CONDEMNED AND TORN DOWN.

Ive stayed some awful places in my travels but this place tops it. My night has been miserable already. No shower in my room in fact there wasnt even a handle to turn the water on. No tv. Massive cash deposit required. What a scam dont ever book with oyo
The night I checked in with my child, the front desk person was horrendously rude. She had no customer service skills. Finally after we got our room, the toilet was dirty, with urine on it. The tub was dirty with the last persons soap smeared on the wall. I bought cleaning products to clean up. I took a video of the room. They have the nerve to ask for a $50 deposit. The curtains are hanging on a couple of fasteners. They dont provide blankets or bedspreads. The television doesnt work, the lady said theres wifi, but it has poor service. It seems we cant complain, because the wont do anything about it, no refunds. The door doesnt took the floor and you can see outside from under the door. The pillows are a illowcase with a lump of stuffing in them. Theres no room to move around in the room. The site I booked with had beautiful photos that dont reflect the actual room. The swimming pool looks like a swamp. The site said there were supposed to be microwaves and refrigerator, no microwave only a hidden refrigerator in a cabinet. Be careful when choosing this establishment. One more thing. The laundry room is locked with no access. Poor business here.
I got in around 11 to 12 at night and the moment I got to my room and turned on the light there where roaches everywhere I had my 6 month old baby with me and I couldnt set him down to take pictures because there was even roaches on the bed when I went to the front desk to make a complaint the man walked up to my room saw the roaches and told me there was nothing he could do about it I checked out Immediately it was very Disgusting
I travel often for work and stay in many an inexpensive hotel and this was the worst room Ive had in many years.I was informed that the TV didnt work and I accepted that. I was not informed that the room lacked every possible amenity. No fridge, no microwave, no towels, or toilet paper, or shower curtain. Not even a trash can. There was black mold crawling over the ceiling, sizable holes in the wall some with exposed wiring, and the heater didnt work. I asked twice to switch rooms and was told there were none available and I seriously doubt this place was fully booked.The staff did replace the heater, but left the broken unit in front of the room all weekend, blocking the handicap ramp. Towels, soap, and toilet paper were only given out grudgingly. When I checked in they demanded as $20 cash deposit, no credit allowed, then at check out I had to wait while they went to inspect the room before returning it. Inspect it for what? More holes? Theft of non existent appliances?I contacted OYO complaints and received this in reply We apologize for the inconvenience caused to the guest. We wish to inform you that as per our validation with the hotel, they informed us that there was no such issue and they denied the refund. Therefore, we are unable to help you with the refund.So terrible motel says they arent terrible, end of matter.To say I wont stay there again is an understatement. As it stands, I will not be staying at any Oyo properties in the future.
They was not at all what was expected. They said they were in the middle of renovations. I got on the google reviews and it’s been this way for months. The bed they had in the room was going down in the center. There was a tv but it didn’t work. They don’t have wifi. They had no towels or anything in the room. The bathtub had pieces coming off of it. The elevator didn’t work. The stairs to go to the third floor was half rusted out and could see right thru them. I could go on and on about this place. My fiance and I were in town only to come back for his momma who passed away so we didn’t have the money really to go anywhere else once I had already paid on booking for this place. Plus they ask for a deposit which yes you get back but I’m sorry how can you mess anything up when it’s already bad.
I thought I was tough, thought I could handle just about anything. Turns out, this is my limit.My daddy always said We may be poor, but at least were clean. Well folks, these people arent even clean. The shower is stained and there is a bit of hair about the place. My floor could have been swept as well.There was a solid one inch gap under the door. Consequently, I am unsure whether the AC was fully functional. It certainly couldnt keep up with the heat coming from outside. In any case, the fact that the front of the machine could not be secured and would fall off at the slightest provocation is quite inexcusable.The entomology in my room was strikingly varied. I was able to identify one of the insects as some variety of roach. I gave up after that, figuring Darwin and the crew of the HMS Beagle would have had their work cut out for them.I survived three nights. On the second day they shut off the water. There is no way to contact the front desk from the room and no published phone number. By the time I got back in the evening the water had come back on but my room key did not work. The door to the lobby was locked and there was no one behind the desk. I had to bang rather hard on the door to get someone to come out and fix my key.There is a fridge in the room, but it has a few insect carcasses in it and seems to be for decoration only, as it is not cold.There is also a TV in the room. It does not function.Further, there is an extremely scruffy runt of a man who hangs around the office pretending to be a policeman or security guard of some sort. He seems to think it great fun to slyly uncover a badge attached to his shabby pants. I assume he hopes it will grant him some undeserved respect.The lady at the desk will ask for a cash deposit. Be wary. It is unlikely you will get this back.Their ratings average only one star. Let me tell you, they have worked to get it down that low. In this case there is no brigading, no review bombing, it really is just that bad.Also, I never did get any toilet paper.

Worst place ever!!!! I reserved a room awhile back toward mid part of the year and when I arrived the clerk said my room wasnt available because it had been rented to another person. The clerk wanted to put me in another room that had no TV or necessary things and they wanted me to pay $50 more after they gave my reserved room to another guest. There were 2 female clerks and they were very rude and arrogant and they put me out and refused me to stay after i told them i would be speaking to the owner and after I told them I was not going to pay extra money for nothing in a room and about their attitudes. I will never go back to this hotel ever again, especially with those 2 employees if they are still there. The clerks really made a negative impact on me ever staying at that hotel. Never again. If I could give a Zero on tne rating I would.
Listen this place is horrible. Now if youre short money dont mind not being to speak to anyone over the phone if something goes wrong, not having TV service or Internet then this place is suitable. What upset me is that advertisement is false. They dont have smoking rooms I booked a smoking room with TV what hotel doesnt have the bare minimum atleast antenna service this hotel. On top of that they ask for a deposit of 50.00 which they dont disclose. The customer service sucks because there is none. Someone from a third world country purchased this hotel and doesnt give a hoot about its guest.False advertisement then they dont even offer any accommodations for your inconvenience. Tried to check in after we made an online reservation. The clerk told us that the rooms were being renovated and didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. He then proceeded to tell me that our service dog was not allowed on the property. I told him to cancel the reservation. He then charged my card for a no-show when I indeed showed up. They basically stole my money and refused to refund it. The clerk even stated he didn’t understand there own policy. Beware of this place.

This had to be the worst hotel stay I have ever had no tv and no microwave, I got the room found two empty beer bottles and cleaned up a beer spill on the floor, the toilet leaked at seal so bathroom floor was soaked when flushing the toilet, the air in the room barely worked couldn’t get above 64 degrees in the room, only two towels no rags, and when checking out they gave me an issue with my deposit because I used one of the towels to clean up the mess that was in the room and soak up the water from the toilet that was on the floor. I never got a sorry for the mess just an ok we will handle it later. Horrible customer service horrible cleanliness and horrible comfortability. I do not recommend this place to any one
I booked online and was supposed to get 2 nights for $83 and a deposit of $50. When I got here I am disabled ( had a total hip replacement and could not offer me a ground floor room. They put me on the 3rd floor). So when I get there I have to pay an additional $32 plus a deposit. No Tvs, no microwave, and no elevator. Then I got out to get some food and I come back a couple hrs late to find out AC dont work. I proceed to office to tell them and they said they cant move me. So now I am on third floor without any AC. Its 112 outside and I was sweating in the room.
I needed somewhere to go for the night rather quickly and found this hidden gem through hopper. I didnt know I would need my glock, Dale Gribble, and my bullet proof vest to stay here. We were told upon arrival due to renovations we wouldnt have a TV. We were told they needed $50 cash deposit due to renovations, but wouldnt break a $100 dollar bill. We went to Aldi and bought Ramen to heat up. We climb the rickety stairs to find the room has no coffee pot or microwave or TV. The pool they advertise is green with furniture in it. The bathtub has fist holes in the paneling and the faucet has no off and just turns freely along with the lovely burn holes. The curtains were once used as drop cloths for the painters who got mad and only hung them half way back up. The air conditioner floods the room and then doesnt work so its warm. We went to go lay down and Rhonda Roach was staring at us on the wall, I screamed and she died shortly after. We went outside after hearing a commotion to be greeted by shuffling Sandra who offered us any kind of drug and a happy ending. This place is marvelous and you need to experience this if you want a taste of the real world. I mean you are to scared to leave the room, but dont want to leave your car so you stay awake all night and succumb to the company they keep. You become the Crack head peeping out the window watching your car. We heard gun shots and then sirens. I love MOBILE. Pros close to the interstate and you can get any drugs you need along with a happy ending from shuffling Sandra. Cons not people friendly. You can check out but never leave. Its the twilight zone for sure. Quite scary and quite possibly but not for certain my last visit here. Yall have fun and dont say we didnt warn you. The floor is lava. If I could give this place ZERO stars, that would be too many. I will preface this by saying I have traveled all across the country and usually stay at Motel 6 because it’s inexpensive. They aren’t always the best but they work. This place makes even the dirtiest motel 6 look like the ritz. The staff was awful, completely ignoring my repeated requests to either speak up or look at me while talking. I have a hard time hearing, especially with a busy highway in the background and they try to talk to you through a plexiglass window. The morning staff was no better. The phone staff is SUPER pushy. The biggest issue is there’s no way that place is fit for occupancy. The stairs are so rusted, I’m shocked they haven’t come down, the locks on the door didn’t work, the pool itself is an absolute hazard. Literally every other hotel and motel in an hour radius was booked and we HAD to get the baby out of the truck for a while and we needed some semblance of sleep but good lord. Never ever again. Oh, and there’s NO safety equipment in the event of a fire. We stayed at 2 hotels on this trip. This place made la Quinta look like a 5 star resort.
The overnight front desk clerk is terrible. I prepaid for my room and he is going to say the website I booked on charged the wrong amount and I would have to pay more. I also booked a two bed (it’s 4 of us) and he only offered a one bed. He would not give me the name of the manager so I could talk with them in the AM. Overall his customer service is terrible. He also would not give me his name. There are people walking around barefoot outside late at night, most of the hotel is boarded up. I had to try to find another hotel at 2am as I just needed some where to sleep for the night as I was passing through. This hotel is terrible. Do not stay here.
Got a room through Agoda for like $40 through a special deal and now I see why. I killed like 10 roaches with the first 5min of being in the room. Cigarette burns in the bedding and a single pillow. One towel and wash cloth and no shampoo or soap. Almost completely used toilet paper roll with no second as a spare. Lady warned me if she catches anyone else aside from myself going into my room, that Id loose my room for the night. Like really? Would have been more comfortable and cleaner sleeping in my vehicle. Never again will I come here.
We arrived at this hotel, firstly the hotel is in a terrible condition and the rooms are not equipped as shown in the photo, secondly the pool does not work and is in a terrible condition and thirdly they demanded an additional $ 50 per room! broken windows and doors, a broken pool, terrible stairs and nightmarish rooms! 4 clients were standing at night because the staff of this hotel cannot help their clients. Everyone wants a refund, but they dont return it! please just refund my money!

They were quick to get you into the room but this place is filthy it has a infestation of roaches and they did not have any televisions inside the rooms there was no microwave available in case you needed something but I would not recommend eating in the rooms at all this was a horrible experience for me and my family 0/10 do not recommend to anyone !!!
This place only received a 1 star because I had to leave a star in order to write a review. This place is falsely advertising a hotel that is not available. I reserved this stay for this past weekend 6/30 - 7/2, upon arriving you could clearly see major issues with the facility. We decided after being seeing the condition on the hotel and being told there was no early check to still give it a try. Upon trying to check in for the 2 room I reserved, I was informed that they only had 1 room available (still charged for 2 room). I informed and talked to the owner of the property where I was told to call their customer service line which I did. But everytime I put my confirmation number in they hung up on me.Also while on the property site, over heard the owner make threats on the phone from his office of taking a gun to somebodys house. And they honestly expected me to stay there with my children. And in which I still am out the $449.79 that I paid for the weekend
Oyo Hotel says they dont have a reservation for me even though i showed him the booking reservation number as i talk to this rude foreign speaking clerk i didnt get his name. We talked through a small plexiglass window outside the hotel in the rain just yards away from the freeway cant hear nothing he was saying due to rain and freeway he wont let me in the lobby to address the issue so it must be in a really bad neighborhood by airport blvd. Dont go here theres a reason why rates were cheap.He threw my id back to me and said call your booking site and walked away. Treated me like a backup dancer
The worst care provided by SRI, the best being the worst, plus their English is intelligible most of the time, which combines perfectly with the disgusting nature of the room. No service is served: NO water, no TV, no microwave. Too dirty and cockroaches.There is no elevator. The AC in poor condition.I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN.
I booked a room for one night, when we arrived after I gotten of work it was around 12:00 am. The man at the front desk to begin with told us there was no tv. Which is fine, but when we walked up to our room we quickly found out that there were no LIGHT, no PILLOWS, no TOWELS, no TOILET PAPER, and The shower did not work which is the first thing I wanted to get into the room to do. And as I tried to turn the shower on, a roach crawled out of the bathtub. The only light that worked in there was a light before you enter the bathroom, the bathroom it’s self was pitch black. The place was filthy and everything was disheartened to see. Roaches are filthy and so is this place. I do not recommend you stay. 1/10 rating for me. The guy at the front desk was extremely unhelpful as well, very unprofessional and did not take in consideration of anything we were missing. All he did was try and give us 2 towels for a shower that had no water. Horrible place overall
They did not want to honor the price that I got through Priceline of $41 a night due to the hotel going through renovations and told me it would $65 a night. Then further explained to me that there were no microwave, fridge, and tv due to being renovated. I explained that I was going to go to the hotel down the street and wanted to cancel. So a couple days later I get a email for a charge of $41 for a no show fee. I tried calling the hotel and no one answers. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy this hotel.
This place is disgusting! They will steal your money and say youre a no-show and if you do stay there they do not clean there rooms theres no tvs. I have pictures if someone knows how to upload them or if the wanna see just ask. and they will charge you a 100 dollar deposit that they will did give back. When brought to there attention that is was dirty they could care less.
Front desk was rude, and the rooms were horrendous A/C no cool air and just made thumping noise, no bathroom door or TV got my deposit back and was told couldnt refund my money cause was made online I will deal with that tomorrow. Will never be back to another one. Yall be very weary but this place
Dont bother, you have been warned!!! After my week is done I will never consider renting a room here EVER again. If I could give no stars I would! I have rented a room for a week just so we could take a shower & get some rest from working all day. The photos advertised are misleading. I rented from priceline because I trust priceline would only give recommendations from reputable hotels.To management, you really need to pay attention to what your paying customers are complaining about and have staff training/meetings at least once every few months. I am sure your staff can give insight on changes that should be made in this particular facility. If you are unbothered by bad reviews, unwilling to listen and act on VALID complaints your business will continue to be rated poorly. I am sure you can find cost effective ways to create a pleasant stay at your establishment. I am willing to provide a list of basic things every paying customer would appreciate upon their stay at OYO. With the most important being cleanliness. Please I urge management to contact me, I would like to speak with someone that does not have and attitude & poor customer service skills.
First of all, I was shocked because im from Houston TX and OYO Hotel on Northwest Freeway is amazing and clean!! This i-65 location makes me nauseous!! Very gross, very very gross motel.I was in room 118..I literally sat my backpack on the floor, picked it up a few minutes later and it was covered in roaches:(!!!! Why does the tv not work? …That’s not even the half. Don’t stay here.
No stars. Bad area has to hire security guards for outside hotel. Booked room through Agoda several days before and paid for. Oyo gave my paid reserved room away blamed Agoda which I do not believe Agoda was at fault they refunded me. clerk probably pocketed money then sold it again to someone else. Family with small children called the police because of no refund from hotel. This was later at night so I would assume it was bad for him to leave and seek elsewhere with small children. Prob roaches mobile is full of them. And dont try to book the other Oyo in mobile. It is roach infested not safe in ghetto dont stay at these hotels. If the police have to come dont do it.
Avoid like the plague!!!! I booked a double for a place to stop on my way to Florida. I get to motel and it looks bad. Some windows are boarded up and some doors leaning on wall. I still go to front desk and told location undergoing renovations and no double beds available. I should just go to motel up the road if I need more than one bed for 3 people. My reservation was for a double and through Priceline. I had to go someplace else since needed 2 beds and now the location is lying to Priceline. Fist saying I did not show up. And then when called today again to Priceline they gave different story today to Priceline. They said today that had double beds.This location just wants your money and there is a reason they so cheap on the “booking” sites. Also motel looks NOTHING like photo right now
Not honoring online pricing even if you book online will charge what they think is the difference for the room. Will not correct all online advertising and booking outlets. Think it’s OK to advertise, possibly while hotel is currently under renovations.Did not get a chance to book a room here will not book with business is the advertise, costly and openly deceive customers.
Avoid this place like the plague. Overnight clerk is a scam artist. Booked a room and when I attempted to check in he said I had to pay a difference due to increased costs during construction. Additionally he claimed that all payments have to be made in cash, to include the incidental payment. I ended up sleeping my truck that night. I wish I could give this place zero stars but Google is forcing a bare minimum.
DO NOT STAY HERE. This place was so bad I couldnt stay here. I had reserved a non-smoking room, and both rooms I was offered reeked of smoke. The TVs were all broken. The bed covers had holes in them. The walls had holes in them. One room had a window with a bullet hole covered with tape.
Not in any way are these rooms condition even close to the price they are being rented for.This is the very bottom of the low end of motels in Mobile.Management treats guests like they are in a third world country. To the extent of telling guests, they may not allow other guests to enter their room. Its one thing to ensure extra individuals are not sleeping in the rooms, but this is America and individuals can come by and visit.
Filthy comforter was bleached sheets were stained. Booked a room with two beds only to check in and find out they only had rooms left with one bed. Upon arrival I was told their tvs were not working. I paid a $100 for a room I couldn’t even sleep in because it was so filthy. Would not recommend anyone to stay here
Oyo hotel west I-65 service road off Airport blvd. Is the worst experience I have ever had with hotels. The staff was very rude with a nasty attitude. They told me to come back to the office at 3 to check in and when I walked back in the office a few mins after 3 she snapped that she had already told me not to come back until after 3. I said ma’am it’s after 3. A man speaks up with an attitude saying that they can’t let us check in until the rooms are finished and have laundry.. me and my husband turned around and walked back to our car. There was poor communication and unnecessary attitude. The hotel is run down, looks like it’s falling apart and garbage everywhere. Unfortunately they would not allow me to cancel or refund me. They treat their customers horribly. I would never recommend this hotel. Would sleep in my car or under a bridge first. They need new employees and new management or something.
You get what you pay for. Dont expect much more than a bed by any means. No TV. No fridge, no microwave, no towels, definitely no pool or laundromat, no fire alarms in any room l.Nightly domestic violence, bullet holes all over the outside, the security guard could be mistaken for one of the frequent homeless guys over the property as he doesnt wear shoes or shower. To make it perfectly clear, unless you can defend yourself, this is not a safe place.

Had a number on the wall that no one answered. That clerk referred to. Not expecting a refund but atleast I went to a place that was safer.
This place looked nice on the outside but as soon as we opened the door we saw roaches, no trash baskets the bedding was iffy. We were so tired we stayed a little while and left. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. The only reason we stayed anytime at all was they wouldnt refund our money.
My husband went to check in here, and the only room they had available had no air conditioning, no television, burn holes in the bath tub, and roaches everywhere.The staff showed him the room before he checked in. They knew it was bad. We had already paid for a week because he is working in the area for a couple weeks. He had to go find a different place to stay at 1030pm, when he has to be at work at 630am. We booked through Priceline, and they say they cant even get in touch with this poor excuse of a hotel to ask for a refund. AVOID THIS PLACE. IT SHOULD BE CONDEMNED
This room is terrible, I asked for a double bed, when I arrived for check in they only had a king size bed. The pool is empty, the fire hoses on each floor are missing. Its non-refundable so Im letting others know not to come here. This place should be closed like the best Western next door.
I didnt make it past the reception desk to see the actual room. The outside is a complete disaster, rooms are under renovation and doors are missing from most of the rooms. Joyce, the receptionist, had a terrible attitude when I went to check in; she then told me that there are no working t.v.s in the rooms and that I can cancel my reservations through the company I booked them through. This place looks like a dumpster fire and I am trying to cancel my reservations now.🤞
When I paid thru booking charged me 47. When I came into the office the lady told me I owed her more money, plus $50 deposit for a room where the ac didnt work, the fridge didnt work, the TV didnt work, also had no microwave. Everything that is said about this place online is a lie. Our one night stay was horrible

Then when she asked me how much I paid I told her and she gave me an arbitrary number and said I could pay the higher amount and pay their $50 cash deposit.Terrible.
Website advertised full amenities, room had no TV, no WiFi and demanded a cash deposit even though room was paid for and no where did it say they needed cash. Had to beg for additional towels in a double room as there was only 1 towel!
Read the reviews. I’ve stayed in some cheap hotels before, but this was hands down the worst (by orders of magnitude). Avoid this place like your life depends on it… because it honestly does.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel booked for two nights but after we got there the room was just horrible no bed spread one wash cloth and one dry off towels for two people the pool was just nasty with ducks floating around in it my wife refused to lay in the bed she sat in the chair all night and the next morning she went to the front desk checked us out and demanded a refund for the next night which they did give her that was the only good thing about this hotel.
This was the absolute worst hotel i have ever stayed in. However I can’t complain at under 50$ and pet friendly. I will say the excuse we got was “they’re renovating” (i would think think your hotel shouldn’t be open then if it’s not suitable for people to reserve) and ill let the pictures speak for themselves

No TV. The heater was blowing while ac was on. Burn marks on the bathtub and shower curtain. I moved the fridge to check behind the cleaners, and 8 roaches ran out. Dont do it.

Welcome to the NIGHTMARE hotel, The OYO Hotel, they did not let my 22 y/o son check-in to go to his room knowing he has all the required documents, I could not add a guest nor cancel!! It’s a total theft a very bad Hotel to do business with, they kept hung-in up the phone on me, no one answer, the main phones number of the customer service are an additional empty line to stress you, OYO hotel is nightmare place from India in America, a Total scam
On the website they make it look like a dream..breakfast.. beautifully pool...so I made reservations for me my husband and our two boys for my oldest son varsity basketball tournament.. the check-in was okay..but when we get to the room we open the door theres one full size bed..supposed to been two queen size beds.. no tv.. no phone..wire sticking all out the walls from each wall.. the smell was ridiculous.. the pool had nothing but trash inside of it.. I am immediately went to the office got my money back and went to Econo Lodge and got a way better room.. beautiful pool.. breakfasts.. for the same exact price.. thats oyo motel needs to be shut down.. the place was just nasty peeiod...
