Healthy Tai Chi Massage

I normally wouldn’t want to get massaged in public or in front of other customers but Amanda did a fantastic job. Somehow she knew exactly where my problems were and she fixed me well. I got the 20 minutes for $30 but ended up getting another 10 added on so I paid $40 for 30min. For the price and convenience of no appointment needed as well I give them 5 stars for sure. I’ll be back.

This is for the Coastal Grand Mall location. Please, read the entire review. I review for my (1 star) massage as well as my daughter’s (5 stars). Normally I leave feeling like a new person, this time however that didn’t happen. I got, as usual, a 60 minute deep tissue table massage. The gentleman spent half of that blowing his nose or “massaging” with one hand…mostly just putting pressure on with the palm of his hand, or pushing with the palm of his hand, while blowing his nose. In the beginning I told him that I needed my upper back, shoulder and neck worked on, I mentioned it 3 more times during the massage but was ignored.When I went to pay, I told him that I felt bad for him being sick but that it was the worst, and first time that I’ve been unhappy with their service and didn’t get what I asked for. Obviously I’m not going to tip when I don’t get the service I paid for. He actually had the nerve to show me the tip jar, after I told him how unhappy I was. I actually shouldn’t have paid at all!! If language was an issue, he should’ve called someone to translate what I was saying instead of pretending to understand and ignore me.My daughter got the same massage from another therapist and was very happy, as I have been every time before. I probably won’t go back, only because of the way I was made to feel for speaking up.Customer service, trying to make it right, or at least apologize would’ve gone a long way!

Ive come here many times for foot or full-body massages, and really enjoy this place. They accept walk-ins and you cant beat the prices (I always tip them at least 20%). The masseuses are friendly and give excellent massages-I love the hot stone treatment that comes with the full body massage. They understand enough English to receive feedback on massage pressure or style. Only once did I have an older man who was way too heavy-handed; otherwise all my experiences there have been great and I highly recommend it.

I never give reviews good or bad, so here’s the first. I went in for a chair massage but the lady said going to back was better and same price, so I did. Terrible experience! The lady giving the massage answered the phone and had conversation with at least 7 people. I soon realized she wasn’t having to take her hands off of me to answer the phone. I looked up, she was sitting in a chair in front of me massaging my shoulders with her feet while she was on the phone. It was disgusting!

This is my second time this week. I came on Thursday and Sunday! I brought my mom and now my husband. I tend to not deal with stress very good. I’ve had Bell’s palsy twice. I found my place to come and release stress. My husband lifts pretty heavy stuff so this relieved his achy back. I had Jisen and my husband had Jennifer. They were beyond amazing!

Although they give a fantastic massage, the place is beyond filthy dirty! I asked on a Wednesday when the sheets were last changed in the man, in very broken English told me they change them every Sunday. Instead of putting clean linens on the face cradle, they give you a paper towel. I’m feeling rather skeeved out after my massage.I’m actually considering calling the board of health.Also, the only English spoken is one man who can barely communicate. 🤮

30 minute foot massage was going well until 2 big men walked in and the workers started talking loud AND in their language to each other. It was SOOOO rude. It was obvious they were talking about the black and white men that walked in. Also all of their talking was disruptive to our relaxing foot massage. The employee was rubbing my feet ok until he started talking smack with the other worker, who by the way, was massaging someone else. Back and forth chatter (not whispering). This place is fine for a quick massage. The price is great. However, the employees need to do their talking in the break room. Getting a massage is supposed to be relaxing. I didnt leave there satisfied. Hopefully the owner reads this.

My massage was nice. But I was basically forced to leave a tip. I paid with a credit card and didn’t leave a tip on there so the guy who did my massage kept pointing to the tip line even though I had left it blank. I had planned on leaving a tip in cash after I saw the tip jar on the counselor. Well since I didn’t leave the tip on my card, he lifted the jar up and pushed it basically in my face and pointed at it and said tip tip tip. He couldn’t speak any English but he knew how to say tip. That turned the whole experience bad. And that’s why it git 1 star from me.

Great shoulder and neck massage! Best $30 I’ve spent in a long time! These people always do a great job! Plenty of staff on to take care of you right away. Had to wait 2 minutes to get a massage. If your schedule is busy this place is the best for a quick massage when in need.

You just have to come to this place. If you want a well deserved massage, this is the place to go.Update after 2 years. Went again several times after but this time I got a back massage and it was a male. Told him it was too much pressure and throughout the massage I kept on telling him too much, I could not wait for him to finish. I dont know what he did but for a week I was in pain. I know I will not let this guy put his hands on me again. This was my only bad experience which will not stop me from going.

I’m from Pittsburgh and since a week prior to vacation I had this knot in the middle of my back and what felt to be tight guitar like strings running down my neck.. 3 days into vacation and I couldn’t take it anymore. Got the hour “whoop ya back back into correction,” massage, and thank my husband for watching the kids because 5 stars is an understatement, I tipped $30 alone for saving my vacation, ontop of regular rate. Highly recommended

Great place. Was in town on vacation and decidedto try this place. A lady named Yo-yo have me my massage. And it was the bast 20 minute chair massage I ever had. She applied pressure in all the right places. If you need a quick massage I would definitely recommend. My only critique is that the face guard they put on the chair is not large enough. Otherwise, great experience.

I have been coming here for several years. I go to the location at the mall and to the North Myrtle beach store in the Bi Lo shopping center. I have had massages for most of my adult life and am now in my late sixties. The massage provided by Kelli is one of the best I have ever experienced. Much better than the ones from massage envy. Kelli can take care of any individual issue you may have as well as providing an excellent overall massage. She is fully devoted to her craft and in delivering a quality customer experience. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for an affordable quality professional massage at a reasonable price. Be sure and ask for Kelli. She is the best at the beach.

Went and had a massage there today. Had the 1 hour table massage> Normally its great and i come out feeling like a million bucks. Sadly today was different I left there in more pain than when i got there. I had some guy doing my massage and every time i would tell him that it was hurting and to not use as much pressure it felt like he applied more. Once it was all over and i paid for it i made sure to not put anything in the tip line on my credit card slip. As i was walking out he stopped me and pointed to the tip jar and was like where is my tip. I just walked out. I normally always tip and i would have this time if i felt he had deserved it. After today im not sure if ill ever go back.

This place has always been amazing. Went from a small stand in the middle of the mall to this nice larger location. Have never had to wait but a few minutes and all the staff has been very friendly and given excellent massages. Offer most any type of massage you want including cupping, hot stones and deep tissue. Get the 20/20 deal. Most bang for your buck.

This was not a good experience. We had four of us go in and get full body massages and we all came out in pain. I told the guy 3 times i did not want a deep tissue massage because it was very painful, and he continued. The hot rocks were ridiculously hot. It was awful and I was in pain at least 55/60 minutes.

I haven’t been this sore in a long time. I didn’t catch her name but she really did a great deep tissue massage on me. Can’t wait to feel the benefits tomorrow. It was well worth the $$. The hot stones were a bonus! First time for those. Thank you again

OMG! We were on vacation and decided to check this place out. All I can say is that if I were a local, this would be my spot! It was the best foot massage I have ever gotten, and I get a lot of them because my feet hurt due to medical issues. The mall that it is in isnt great, but it is close enough to the entrance to where you can just run in and out without any issues. Highly recommend!

I use to go once a week and I’ve never had problem i always enjoy getting my feet rubbed here . I hadn’t been in a while and decided to go and the girl answered her cell while massaging my feet . I work in a spa i Would never answer my cell while with a client they are paying their hard earned money for my work. I guess I need to get names and start making request .

It was a nice place the massage was good the only bad experience Ive had was when one of the employees got mad about the tip I left which wasnt much but I also just spent 150 dollars also he was unprofessional in front of other customers.

Had an awful experience. No one spoke English scammed me for tips saying I didn’t pay it had a receipt and still trying to scam me for a tip and to pay twice.

Nice staff but hands down the worst massage Ive ever had. Ive been to about 8 different places for massages and all though he is no longer there, Brandon from R Salon & Spa, was the BEST!

Very bad place, zero management, unclean, unprofessional, they dont have music and they open conversation with each other when they are working! So if you want to relax and have proper message, dont go there.
