Visited from out of town while my husband was in work meetings. I had a 75-minute massage, which was great. The girls at the front desk are super friendly. The atmosphere is like that of a full service spa. Would definitely visit again if I am ever back in town.

While visiting Nashville for a girls weekend, one of the girls surprised us with messages at this place. Mica Watkins was my massage therapist and wow was she good! We went over my desires and she did not disappoint. I have her and Donelson Massage Center now permanently in my phone as I do visit Nashville quite frequently. I will be back!

The new masseuse Ashley is the bomb. ComLoved every minute of our session!!! Clean and welcoming environment. The sugar scrub in the bathroom is top tier!! Overall great experience!!

I had a 90 minute massage with Francine and wow let me be one of many to tell you how incredible she is. I’m truly so blown away by her ability to be so intuitive with each client she serves. I absolutely love that she took her time to get to know me and my issues with my body. She truly genuinely loves what she does and she is so good at it. Truly incredible on all fronts!

I saw Kenny today and he did a session with stretching and tuning forks. I am going to be honest, I didn’t think the tuning forks would work, but it’s like magic. I have many very sore spots to the touch. The tuning forks released the muscle so he could work on it manually with no pain. It’s the first “medical” massage therapy appointment I’ve ever had where I didn’t feel like screaming or crying from pain to get my muscles to release.

This was such a relaxing experience! I absolutely recommend McKinley. The ambiance of her room and the waiting area were so nice, I felt relaxed before my massage even started! I will absolutely be back!

That was hands down one of the best massages I have ever had. Angela is kind and professional. She is an excellent massage therapist. The front desk was friendly and hospitable. I will be back for sure.

I love this place. Booking online allows a stress free in and out process where you dont even need to bring your wallet or bag in to pay or tip. The center is clean and smells great. First massage was with Imad. It was excellent. Second time Imad was unavailable and I chose Peter. This was hands down the best massage Ive ever gotten. Best. Ever. Peter is expert at translating my complaints into a massage that truly addresses them. Its also great knowing that I can book with another therapist if my first choice is unavailable. Really happy to have found Donelson Massage Center. Just booked a massage for later today!

I had my first acupressure massage with Virginia it was the best massage and most therapeutic massage I have ever had in 29 years . I have problems with my knees and this massage made a huge difference to my knees and back .

I really need it that great massage. I promised myself not to wait so long before the next one.

My fiance and I went there this past Sunday. We had ordered 90 minute couples massages (in the same room). As we arrive, we are taken to separate rooms. My massage therapist only gave me 60 minutes as my fiance received 90 minutes. It took 10 minutes for my masseuse to come to me and ask if Id like to come back to finish my session (of which Im not doing since Ive already dressed). If 1 accident happens, Ill get over it. But 2 accidents happened on my first booking. Not a great impression for new customers

I am a massage SNOB and am very hard to satisfy. I lift weights and have had 2 spine surgeries so my muscles are always tensing and knotting up. I came here because the other reviews are great and I was hoping I’d get a good massage. Lindsey was a pro! She got in where I needed and knew exactly what she was doing. She actually gave me a deep tissue like I wanted, whereas it seems like most therapists don’t go deep enough. I am so impressed and extremely satisfied! This place is great!

Price hikes this year have been brutal so I can’t afford a massage very often but it’s always a great experience

Everyone here is super helpful and they were able to get me a last minute booking to help me when I threw out my back. Raymond was very good, and I will definitely be back in the future!

I have visited renowned spas for massages all over the World- Santa Monica, Vegas, New York, Miami, Missouri, Mexico, Bahamas, Honduras, and many others. My massage at Donelson is #1 on my list!!! From the moment I stepped in, until well after my treatment...I am so impressed!! This spa is the most amazing secret of Nashville Tennessee!!! But, the environment, the affordability, and the great products are only part of the enriching experience- my therapist Angela KNOWS HER STUFF!!!! She released tension in areas Ive struggled with for a while!!! I highly recommend Donelson AND booking with ANGELA!!!!

First, time ever having a massage. I never knew what I was missing all these years. It was so wonderful, head to toe Swedish massage, it brought me to tears. Did I say this was my first massage, it definitely will not be my last.

I have been going to Donelson Massage Center every three weeks since October 2019. It has been my retirement gift to myself. I have never had a negative experience there, with any of the front desk staff or with any of the therapists I have seen. I have been seeing Marie since November 2021. She is amazing, and I always make my next appointment online as soon as I get home from a session. For an hour every three weeks, she is my favorite human in the universe, because she always makes me feel better, even if I wasn’t feeling bad. I will continue to go for as long as I can afford to do so.

Ok I’m making this bc I don’t make enough of these reviews and I’m trying to get better !! Jack is the best !! Literally best ! I don’t even have to tell him anything I’m just like Jack do your thing !! I haven’t been in almost two months I usually try go every month but I’ll be going soon ! I turned my best friend Ashley on to Jack and now she only sees him as well ! I just wanted to give him a shout out bc he’s truly the best ! He’s also so humble alittle quieter but I make him talk to me lol he’s great ! I’ve been seeing him for years now !!

A great affordable massage destination. There is a very relaxing and calm environment here. They offer couples massages as well as individual ones. You can have a 2 hour massage for a very good price. They offer a questionnaire at the beginning of the massage so that you may customize your needs. I was impressed with this feature. They also sell biofreeze and other essential oils.

Can I just say… this was BY FAR the BEST experience I’ve had for a massage service. First of all, I love that it’s a local joint. Secondly, they didn’t disappoint in the delivery! The front desk was kind and welcoming. I sat in the relaxation room which was in the name.To the most important and main part… my masseuse FELICIA! Wow! What a kind and warm woman from the moment we met. I could feel her positive and genuine energy. We talked about my pressure points and she went to work and made me feel loved, understood, and welcome. She communicated effectively to make sure that we were on the same page as far as pressure goes (I wanted her to get those knots out AND SHE DID!). It was the best! I didn’t feel like a number in line. I felt like she wanted to help me and she really did. I’ll be coming back every three weeks to see her! My experience at Donelson Massage Center was simply amazing. I scheduled the couples massage, and Raymond was my masseuse. Raymond was very professional and he answered all my questions and relaxed every tense muscle I had. I fell asleep and snored a little bit due to the much needed relaxation. The massage, ambiance, and bed was very comfortable and soothing. The entire staff was very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely reschedule another appointment with this business.

Got a chair massage, front desk was extremely accommodating w/ switching original booked time last minute. EJ was the BOMB! I normally don’t gravitate towards chair massages cause in the past I’ve found them inadequate, but EJ had incredibly strong hands and elbows, and when I say worked out every last bit of tightness in my neck and shoulders that’s been bothering me all week!! Also was really great conversation and he was super insightful - I was in a really not great mood the first half of the day but he definitely turned my outlook right around!

I have had a membership here on and off for years. It’s a great deal. 60/month gets you an hour automatically. You can pay the difference if you’d like longer than an hour or save them up if you miss a month. I’ve been getting 1.5 hour massages and only paying the tip the day of. It’s a nice treat. I usually go with Peter if he’s available. He’s great, can apply heavy pressure with ease as well as head and neck massages. I get off the table feeling like I’m on a new planet. You can make an appointment online and look through all of their staff to find the right fit for you. I highly recommend getting a membership!

Words can not describe how I am feeling! I walked in exhausted, tight, sore and stressed. The ambience was calm and serene. The soft scent of lavender filled the air, the women at the front desk, were not only patient, but extremely considerate of my stress levels, not to mention genuinely kind! They listened, they offered me tea, guided me into the waiting room and comforted me. The level of professionalism was not only met, it was exceeded above and beyond expectations. The massage from beginning to end was amazing, I was so impressed, I booked another appointment with Manda! This woman has magic hands! I love this spa! The online function is really handy and booking is simple. I wish you could more easily select the information where it used to show days, then all Masseuses & times. Overall, best massage place in Nashville! I miss the massage chairs in the waiting room!

I had a wonderful experience at Donelson Massage Center. I lucked out finding them through a google search while visiting Nashville area for work. When I called to make an appointment the receptionist was very friendly. I had a 60 minute massage provided by Queona. She was very pleasant and did a fantastic job loosening my back and neck. I left feeling taller and ready for a nap. I would highly recommend stopping in for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

The massage was great, but it is not worth being a member. They offer a 45 minute massage option to be deducted from your account monthly but do NOT offer all massage options at a 45 min session and there are literally only 2 or 3 massage options for that. Plus, the online booking as a member does not really exist. You have to pay for the FULL massage price and they would adjust (refund) the extra. It is just a very poor and complicated system. I cancelled my membership as it caused me more stress than relaxation.

Imad wholely embodies the term professionalism. I have suffered with pain and limited range of motion in my shoulders for several years. I have tried multiple approaches in the past including physical therapy, massage and acupuncture but in as little as 4-6 myofascial release sessions with Imad, I have noticed a huge increase in my range of motion whilst weightlifting and swimming and a huge decrease in my pain levels in my neck and shoulders for the first time in almost a decade.Imad’s enduring attention to detail and his pin-point and precise massage technique, in spite of not being for the faint-hearted (deep breaths for the win!) will literally feel like the key to unlocking tension and freeing your body’s range of motion.There is no one I would sooner recommend for myofascial release and trigger point therapy in my many years of receiving treatment. Thank you Imad, your sessions have been nothing short of life-changing.All the staff at Donelson Massage are always helpful, courteous and polite and their online/ telephone booking makes it simple and convenient to schedule treatments. I highly recommend the monthly memberships to ensure you take advantage of the fantastic value services they other offer for a modest monthly fee.

I highly recommend this place! Had a membership for a couple of months and it was well worth it! Massage chair waiting room before getting your massage is the cherry on top! Will be getting another membership with them in the near future. I highly recommended massage therapists Peter and Gabriel. I do a lot of driving for my job and my back is always so tense, they do a fantastic job of relieving pain.

**UPDATE AT END**Definitely not what we were looking for. We booked a couples massage. My wife had a much worse experience then I did and stated the therapist who did hers barely actually massaged anything. Just left his hands in the same spots and applied pressure. The therapist I was with was very pleasant and gave a very good massage. My on issue was that it was not as firm as I’d hoped. I enjoy more pressure than most and made that clear at the beginning. The massage chair at the beginning did the majority of the massaging how we wanted it.As far as professionalism and atmosphere both therapists were above and beyond and overall our experience was positive. Just not what we were looking for out of a massage.UPDATE- Justin was extremely pleasant to deal with and shows fantastic qualities in a business owner. He contacted me personally, we discussed the experience and he made it right. We’d be willing to give it another shot if we ever make our way back to Nashville!! Thank you Justin!

After a year, I concur with other reviewers that losing the massage chairs in the waiting room is kind of a bummer. The other thing is that the waiting room has been FREEZING the last few times I came in. The lack of comfort in the waiting room has an effect on the whole experience so hopefully this is resolved soon.Hands down best massage I’ve ever had. I’ve lived in Tennessee a year and a half and was still driving to Louisville regularly to get massages because I hadn’t found a local spot in wanted to commit to yet. I’m definitely committed now.Not only was the massage good, but the space is impeccable and you can tell everyone here loves their jobs which to me is a reflection of excellent management. From the time I called on the phone and the front desk person patiently answering my 50 million questions and getting me booked in, to my experience at check in and check out, everything was excellent. Purchased the membership and can’t wait to return.

I have tried multiple places for a massage in the Nashville area in the 3 years I have lived here, without success. A friend had mentioned Donelson massage center to me and I kept the name in my head. My body was telling me I needed a good deep tissue massage and an ad popped up on my instagram-so I went for it. I had a 75 min deep tissue massage with Lindsey. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Although I didn’t sign up..yet, I do love that they offer a membership! I will be back!!

My husband got me a membership for my birthday #bestgiftever 💆🏽‍♀️ so I’ve had the immense luxury of going every month.I researched each masseuse on their site to find someone with experience working on my specific needs, and I hit the jackpot with Lindsey, as she is truly superb.We’ve been working on my muscle soreness due to stress, physical labor, and repetitive motion injuries, and she is knowledgeable and intuitive as well as brilliant at her craft.

I received a coupon through my email for $10 off any service if I booked that day, which I did. The day of my appt, I was called to be informed that my massage therapist was sick and I couldnt be seen that day. No problem. I was asked if id like to reschedule which I did making sure they $10 discount would still be honored since this was no fault to me. I was told yes. Now mine you, I shouldve taken their name down to refer back to but, hind sight is 20/20. I did take a screenshot of my coupon! After my rescheduled services, I mentioned the discount and was given pushback even though I showed the picture. The only reason they wouldnt want to take it was because they couldnt tell if it was sent to my email. LUCKILY, I never delated said email with the discount they sent me so I was able to provide it and get my discount. Nowhere on their website does it state to take these sort of steps to ensure your discount and/or coupon is applied. I just happened to get lucky because of the steps I took. I believe when sending out these discounts and coupons this company should provide a discount CODE that could be provided either when booking online or at the time of service instead of the costumer hoping they saved the email with the discount included to ensure transparency with these incentives. Even making a note of the costumers account for their appt would help so perhaps when they confirm the appt, they would receive a txt asking for a screen shot of the email including the discount to confirm it. Im not sure what the best solution is but, something needs to be done to improve this process instead of the costumer going above of what is expect to insure their discount is applied only to be subjected to an embarrassing situation at the front desk negating a relaxing experience only seconds ago... Yes, it was only 10 dollars but, its the principle that counts and also, as a customer that has been coming to their store for years and years as well as other family and friends, throughout their change in location and management, the unprofessionalism put me off and even though I never had a standing appt, I believe in supporting local stores and being loyal, however, I may, after this experience be looking into a different establishment and informing my friends and family as well. I hope in the future to return once these kinks are smoothed out but, for now, ill be looking for a new spot in hopes that I can use my voice on other review avenues on this issue for this store and save someone else from experiencing this too.

This place is so amazing! I instantly felt calmness as I walked into the building. No wait at all. I was immediately greeted by my masseuse and she asked about the areas I want to focus on. This is my first professional massage EVER (i know, i know) and I have decided to sign up for the membership. This is self care on another level and its affordable! Ive done a lot of massages in my life at various locations in the U.S. and this was definitely up there at the top as one of the best. First of all, Alex was a phenomenal therapist. He helped me with some of my issues from working out/running too much/not stretching enough and actually applied enough pressure to make it worthy of a deep tissue massage. He was also very nice and I appreciated the fact that he didnt talk too much and asked me necessary questions/responded to my questions and needs as they arose. It allowed me to actually relax. Lastly, the ambience of the room was perfect. I really liked the music as it was so peaceful. The essential oils were an amazing touch, too!

I’ve been going to Donelson Massage Center for the last couple of years and I love it overall. The atmosphere, front desk employees, and massage therapists are the best. One piece of feedback I would give is, have the massage therapists ask their client if they prefer chatting during their massage or simply enjoying the massage in silence. I had one massage therapist talk through our entire massage and I would have liked to chat less and relax more. Other than that, wonderful place to get an affordable massage. We scheduled a massage based off of this 4.8 rating, but this review is based off of a busy holiday weekend.PLEASE KEEP READING...Donelson Massage Center opened at 9AM on Sunday, the day before Labor Day holiday.It was acceptable that the only appointment they had was 9AM, due to our reschedule.What was unacceptable was when we walked in at 905AM, still had to quickly fill out paperwork, and our time was cut short!! We were given no warning, but still paid full price!??Weve had countless massages for better prices, not one has been cut short, except for Donelson Massage Center.I did not want to waste our time arguing on our road trip, for a discount, as it was our last day before we left to go back home.UPDATE 3-2-21:Owner (Justin) contacted me directly and we came up with a resolution.Updated to 5 stars for owners care. Great business owner.Great response to what have turned into forgotten unsatisfactory service. I got the introductory massage with Jimmy B and it was excellent. He was very nice, very patient and attentive. Just the right amount of pressure. Donelson Massage has all the amenities, the room was clean, there were soothing sounds in the background, aromatherapy and everyone was super nice. My only suggestion would be to have a page on their website that tells more about the staff so you can pick the therapist based on their training and type of massage that they do. Ill definitely book again soon.

Such a wonderful experience!! They pay attention to so many little details that just makes it that much more enjoyable. The cucumber-lemon water and little waiting room (called the relaxation room) was so great and really just was the perfect setting to get you into relaxation mode and ready for the best part, the massage! My husband and I had the couples, full body massage for 1 hour and it was perfect! The massage therapists (and receptionists) were so friendly, professional and helpful in every way and we were completely at ease and came out rejuvenated! The hour felt great, not too short and they timed out working on different parts of our bodys just right (I needed extra work on my shoulders and foot massage is included with no extra fee if desired which was great!) The massage tables/beds were heated and SO comfortable (everything there is comfortable! Lol) and I could easily tell that it is all done with the customer in mind in every aspect. All around best way to spend some of our 10th anniversary! A really great business that I will be recommending to everyone I know 😁👍

Ive went to Donelson Massage Center before when they were at their old location and had a great experience. But I love the new and improved location. Great rooms, lighting, and overall ambiance. Friendly, unpretentious staff and the owners are great. It was super easy to book online as well! Jack was great. It was the first time Ive went to him. He started with some great compression techniques and it felt like he really took his time. When I go to other places I always write stuff down under problem areas but they seem to always ignore it. I have problems with my low back and sciatica and Jack paid attention to my requests to work on those areas. It definitely helped loosen those spots up and relieve tension so I could be ready for my workout the next day. Ill definitely go back, it was a great massage! Ditch Massage Envy and support your small local businesses that deserve it like Donelson Massage Center.

UPDATE: I wrote this review and got a call from the owner a few days later. The owner was apologetic, honest and very genuine. I was able to voice my concerns and hear how he felt and planned to fix the situation. I didn’t ask for a refund, but he processed one before he even called me. He did not have to do that, but it shows how much he cares about his clientele and his business. I came back to update my review because of owners like him who take pride in their business.We got to our appointment about 5 mins before to do paperwork. We then had to settle into the room and undress. This process was about 15 mins. We probably didn’t start our massages until 8:55pm. I booked an hour couples massage and it was done at 9:47. I felt like my massage had more time on it but we were rushed because we were the last appointment of the evening. Then, when it was time to pay, the receptionist was so rude. She asked me how much I wanted to tip, I told her how much I wanted to tip and at the same time my partner tried to arrange the tip with me. It was just a lot going on at once. I was looking through my purse for my card to pay and as soon as I got up to pay, she had a total attitude. The way she spoke, her facial expressions, terrible customer service on her part. It was disgusting especially after I had just received what was supposed to be a relaxing massage. I will never return especially due to the receptionist bad attitude and the rushing of the massage.

Everything has gone down over the years, especially attitudes and front desk staff courtesy. Massages are so-so and prices have gone up a ton since I first used them. Definitely looking for a new center at this point.

I enjoyed my first massage at Donelson Massage Center yesterday. Jack did a wonderful job and concentrated on my shoulder that has been giving me trouble. I feel so much better today. It was an incredible experience. The center is clean, the people there are friendly, on time, and professional. I will definitely return.

I have a membership here and it’s so worth it. The membership includes a customized massage, and they have made some great upgrades to the website where you can see what type of pressure each therapist uses so you can pick the person best suited to your needs. I won’t share who my faves are because I don’t want them to get booked up! HahaI do wish they required everyone to wear masks since you’re so close. It’s uncomfortable having to ask.

I scheduled a couples massage for my brother and I for a Saturday. That Saturday we were out back cutting down a tree, plowing the yard, laying down tarp, spreading out rubber mulch and regrowing grass in other areas. We were outside from sun up and then cleaned up and headed to our massage. Omg! My massage therapist was the best! I really needed a deep massage and he was able to come through for me. My bro said he got a mild massage and that the woman did an amazing job, she also recommended him to see a chiropractor about his back. All in all the staff was very professional, kind and went above and beyond. The atmosphere was very relaxing, calming and smelt of yummy citrus. Ill definitely be returning!

Had my first massage here today with Josh, and was thoroughly impressed. Very responsive, courteous and accommodating during the booking process. We were a group of four so it was tough to schedule. The facility is very nice, convenient location. It is in a weird little strip mall, but dont be put off by that!I was very impressed with Josh. It was immediately apparent that he is knowledgeable and experienced. I had an extensive amount of knots in my shoulders so he suggested we work on just my back for the first half hour. Great pressure, great conversation, very thorough and attentive.I wish I lived in Nashville because I would definitely come regularly!! Very affordable but excellent value! Experienced therapists who take pride in what they do! 10/10!

I appreciated how relaxed I felt from the time I walked in the door to the time I got home and settled in for the night. The whole ambiance from the music to the interior design to the scent wafting through the air the was lovely. My massage therapist, Freddie, was incredible. I received, hands down, the best message Ive ever experienced from him. He hit all the target points I asked him to with the perfect amount of pressure. He did an excellent job making sure I was relaxed and felt comfortable through the entire massage. The table was nice and warm, and the music was entrancing. I woke up this morning still feeling relaxed and relieved of the pain and tension I had been holding. Special shout out thanks to Freddie, but the entire staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I will certainly return again soon for another session!

I love Donelson Massage Center! Every time I walk in, I’m immediately relaxed due to the aroma therapy, the soft music, the polite staff, and you can’t forget about those amazing massage chairs you get to sit in before your actual massage. The monthly subscription is such a great deal too! Micah was great! She is really awesome at making me feel comfortable and relaxed while helping my muscles heal. This has been a great addition to its area and a reliable place to get a decent massage. I would say 97% massages I’ve gotten here have been really good. I did have one bad one but it was a long time ago and I think it was just a fluke. What I love most about DMC is how easy it is to book and how they usually have appointments available. The membership program is worth doing. I like that they have plenty of complimentary water and tea.

While on vacation, my daughter and I decided to get massages while my husband and son golfed. We each got the 60-minute Swedish massage. I later wished Id sprung for the 90-minute massage! The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. My appointment was with Carmen...she was fantastic. If I could go to her every week in my hometown, I would! Wonderful!

I got a couples massage with my friend because neither of us had ever had a professional massage before. We had Mindy & Jack as our masseuses and they were phenomenal. The ambience was perfect and they focused on our stress areas and helped us achieve maximum relaxation. I have never felt so great and I highly recommend. My friend and I are planning to get memberships because we loved it that much!

Every single time Ive been here, theyve done a great job. They have multiple types of therapists for different needs. In my case, I have a shoulder injury Im nursing back to health. One of the therapists I had specialized in sports injuries, another had a background in PT. Both have helped immensely with getting full mobility back in my shoulder. Occasionally, you will have to sit and wait an extra 15 minutes past your appointment time. But thats about the only negative I can say. Legitimate place. No hanky panky.

First time at this place, and it was lovely. The atmosphere was very relaxing upon walking in, and the lighting is dimmed. Nice aroma, and very clean. Staff is friendly, and are able to get you in quickly. Rooms are clean, with staff wearing protective gear. Sanitizer is stationed throughout. I had a couples massage session. We had an adjoined room. We could see each other but 6ft apart. I had Zach. He was attentive to areas I pointed out without neglecting the rest of the body. Gentle and firm and receptive to knots. I greatly enjoyed my experience and we will be coming again!

I tried this place out, randomly, in attempts to get a massage at the last minute. Usually all of the best places are booked up weeks in advance, so I was not expecting a 5 star massage. To my pleasant surprise, when I went in for my appointment yesterday, I received by far, the BEST massage Ive ever had!!!The massage therapist was very attentive to all my needs and worked well with me to ensure that I was comfortable. I left there feeling 100% rejuvenated almost immediately after my first session!!! Highly recommended!! Will definitely be back very soon!

Donelson is THE massage center to go to. No doubt. They work hard to make the prices as reasonable as possible and fully deliver! The couples massage was fantastic and Dawn and Rose were so perfect! Two weeks ago someone at DMC took it upon themselves to bump my massage back to a later time that night without notifying me. I understand people make mistakes so I didnt make a big deal about it. I scheduled another massage for 2 weeks after that but realized the day before I could not make it. So, per company policy, I called with more than 24 hours notice and asked them to cancel it. The receptionist politely told me it was canceled and thanked me for calling ahead of time. I received a call the following day asking me why I didnt show up for my massage. I let them know that I had canceled it the day before. They assured me the manager would see to it that I wasnt charged. The next day I received an email notifying me that because I was a no-show, I had been charged the full amount for the massage. I have been calling for 2 days now seeking a manager to correct this error and left messages. No one has gotten back with me. I consider this poor customer service and very unprofessional. Im currently looking for another massage center. No point being a member somewhere that doesnt take care of their customers-Harmony Mahler

My husband and I had a 60 minute couples massage with Jack and Therica. Today was our first time at the Donelson Massage Center. The service was top notch. We came out feeling extremely relaxed. We enjoyed our massages so much that we became members right after our massages. Both Therica and Jack did an outstanding job. I got an appointment for an hour and a half massage less than 3 hrs before the appt. In other words, they can accommodate you on short notice. The building isnt new, and the carpet looks a bit worn. Thats the closest to criticism I can get. The pace has very nice fixtures and is well set up. The waiting area is really nice, with very comfortable leather chairs. The staff is very nice, and the pre-massage paperwork is kept to a minimum.My therapist covered everything beforehand, and was extremely descriptive and pleasant, a consummate professional. It was an excellent massage, and she adjusted the the pressure to suit what I needed and could tolerate. If you want a nice, feel-good massage (a la Massage Envy), they can do that. If you have a muscular issue that needs serious work, they can take care of that as well.The price seemed competitive with other massage places, perhaps a little lower.In short, it was very convenient, it was a nice place, and I got a great massage for a VERY reasonable price. I was extremely pleased, and will be back soon

Everything about my experience at the Donelson massage center was phenomenal! I called to schedule and I wanted an appointment fairly quickly and was surprised that they could work me in within the hour. I saw Jill and she was amazing! At $49 for the hour you cannot beat that price anywhere. I was so impressed with their service that I decided to join their silver wellness program.

My boyfriend and I were in Nashville for a conference. After a very stressful morning for him I was able to surprise him with a late evening massage. This place is great! They were accommodating even though they were very busy and the therapists are quite talented. They are definitely worth every dollar.

The massage I had with Mariah was one of the best Ive ever had in my entire life. It was honestly better than the ones Ive had at fancier places like Escape Day Spa. Her pressure was consistent the entire time, she had just the right balance of working out the tight muscles in my back but still made it a relaxing event and I didnt walk out uncomfortably sore. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Im a member here and really like the program. I recently went in and saw Amy for a prenatal massage and she was great. They have an easy online scheduling system and pretty good availability with lots of different therapists. Its also worth noting that theyre open pretty late so people can get in after work.

I went here for the first time on Friday (July 6th) and I will DEFINITELY come back!!! Donelson Massage Center was recommended to me by my coworker/friend. I was in so much pain on my upper body, mainly my neck and shoulders. Freddy was my masseuse and he was AMAZING! He focused on my tension areas and put the exact amount of pressure on all pressure points. I walked in there feeling so tight and in pain and walked out feeling like a brand new woman. I loved the fact that they had availability and I didn’t have to wait months to get in. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Professional service, friendly employees and a relaxing atmosphere.

OMG! My sweet boyfriend got us a couples massage as a surprise gift for my birthday. All I knew is we wouldnt have our children with us and he told me about a week or a little over that I didnt need to make plans for this day and time. We arrived and were treated very professional, shown the needed areas and werent seated but a minute when our masseuses came to get us! This was the most delightful and relaxed experience! I was astonished at how wonderful the masseuse was as I had expected someone scared to get down and get deep in the knots and muscles. I was horribly wrong and so pleased! Great place! Cant recommend them high enough!

I wanted to book a massage due to horrible pain, I got stuck at a doctors office and wouldnt be able to make it in time. For a one-time cancellation, they WOULD NOT wave the $49 cancellation fee. Never have I experienced this. Also, I got conned into a membership previously, only to find out the masseuse I went to only works 2 days a week and is nearly impossible to see. I looked for several appointments, they were all with males which I dont want. For $49 a month, you get about $15 off a massage. NOTHING ELSE. So the membership is a complete rip off, you are paying $49 a month to get $15 off a massage PLUS you have to pay for that massage!! So $98 a month but it would only be $60 something if you DIDNT purchase a membership. Again, what a CON! Donelson Massage Center has a terrible business practice.

Best quality massage I have ever had at this price. Their new Hot Stone Massage Therapy is amazing. The only thing that they need to work on is there online reservation system. The reservation system doesnt work more often then it does. So my suggestion is to call to make any reservations.

Had a good 60 minute deep tissue massage with Josh. Like usual, I feel asleep during a deep tissue massage. When I left, I definitely felt relaxed. The center could use a little updating, but the selection of staff and massage types was well worth the visit. My only complaint, which is entirely my fault, is not asking for more pressure during the massage.

We were staying down town and decided to make a trip out here. So glad we did. Donaldson offers quality massage services at a reasonable price. My therapist was able to get out quite a few knots and reduce the amount of pain I was in. I would visit again!

I was a monthly visitor over the last 6 months. I tried different massage therapists, but Peter was the best. I stuck with him for most of the time here. He was great at real deep tissue massage, and working on my problem areas. Also helped that he had a great and hilarious personality. I unfortunately stopped coming because I moved out of state. If you like deep tissue/firm massages, Peter is the BEST!

My wife and I made a couple of appointments at Donelson prior to heading to a chiropractor for adjustments. Now, I only ever go for a deep tissue massage. Because on some level, if it doesn’t hurt, there’s no point for me. However, it can be difficult to find a massage location that actually offers true deep tissue. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Muriel. And Muriel did not hold back! Hah! Not only was she able to loosen up my over worked back, she also made sure to check in with me over the course of the massage to make sure it was up to snuff. I couldn’t have been happier. If you’re looking for deep tissue, I’d suggest requesting her.

Ive been to the Donelson Massage Center four times now, and every time I go, I have a great experience. You can tell the whole staff truly cares about you as an individual instead of seeing you as a dollar sign. Martha gave me my last massage and she did a wonderful job.

I scheduled a massage for my husband with Jerri based on a recommendation from a friend and scheduled one for myself with Josh based on online reviews. I couldnt have made a better decision! We both enjoyed our massages so much. My husband does very physically demanding work and he has gone on and on about how he feels like a new man after his massage with Jerri. Josh gave an excellent massage, as well. Just the right amount of pressure and it was sooo relaxing. Well definitely be back.

It was my first professional massage. I decided last minute that I needed a massage and got one the same day. The staff was very nice and explained everything throughly. The masseur felt around in my back and found my problem areas and focused on them. The worst part was when it ended. Totally worth it to get a 90 minute one next time!

I had my sixth massage last evening at the Donelson Massage Center. Its my treat once a month. Staff is great. Although they each have a different style, I have never been disappointed. I particularly like Daniel and TeSondra.

I had my introductory 90 minute massage recently with Imad and I cannot say enough good things! I have chronic neck pain due to a car accident about 10 years ago, which leads to days long tension migraines. When I moved from Florida I knew itd be hard to find a massage therapist to replace the miracle worker I had there. Im so happy I found Donelson Massage Center! Imad spent the entire 90 minutes working out my neck/back tension & I left feeling like a new person. I should note that I go for pain relief, not relaxation, so my pressure threshold may not be everyones preference but if youre looking for strong pressure and tension relief Id highly recommend Imad! He listened to my concerns/pains, and Ill definitely be going back!I also love that I can book online and they offer a large array of services. In the past I had to go to different places to get deep tissue, craniosacral, and cupping done, its great that they offer all of these in one location.

First I’d like to state I’ve had ALOT of massages, I use to work for a spa so I have very high expectations. I also had a back injury 4 years ago, so I try spa treatments to help with the pain but often disappointed, this is why this review is very important. I am now pregnant which brings even more back pain. Rose was my therapist and I haven’t felt so amazing in years. I feel “normal” again and I can’t thank her enough, she’ll never know what she’s done for me in an hour, she’s been able to take old pain and new pregnancy pain away. I’m sure it’ll come back but for now I get relief.Natalie was my husband’s massage therapist, and he also commented that she was able to help him as well. If we lived in Nashville we would have signed up for a membership. When you go you must request Rose and Natalie.Thank you ladies!

Great Experience . I needed a massage fix and the person at my chiropractor was out of town. I scheduled very easily and I was able to request someone with cranio sacral and lymphatic experience for a next day visit. Yovi the LMT was/is AWESOME - she listened to my needs and quickly came up with a massage plan and executed incredibly well. She has mad skills and diverse fully trained skill set. As a result I scheduled another visit and am very, very happy with the level of service, professionalism and friendliness at the Donelson Massage Center. Its a nice gem in Donelson.

I completed a brief info sheet when i arrived and Freddy came out to meet me within a few minutes. He introduced himself and took me to the massage room. He asked me simple questions about my personal preferences, and gave me several minutes to change. He was very professional and complied with all of my requests. I left feeling relaxed. The therapist told me that I didnt have any problem areas in my back. I told him that my back was where I had issues. He proceeded to just massage my shoulders while I was ON MY BACK. He didnt listen to my needs and acted like he didnt want to do the massage at all. The receptionist was very nice.

Darrell is awesome! Great professional massage, he even brought me a glass of cucumber-lemon water. Easy to make appointments online. Great prices too!

Best massage I’ve ever had. I have reoccurring shoulder & neck pain and Peter is THE only massage therapist I’ve been to truly target the areas of pain. I left feeling like a new person. I will definitely be returning for more massage treatments by him!

Weve enjoyed every one of our visits here and have routinely recommended it to friends. The front desk staff are friendly, but sometimes a bit overwhelmed with multi tasking. The massage staff weve met are great.

People should know that Donelson Massage Center is an AWESOME PLACE!! Especially Adam my tech. OMG!!! When I say this guy knows exactly what hes doing. I told Adam I had a very tender spot in the middle of my back and dont like it to be touched. Ill say Adam to the rescue...massaged the area and it felt great and did not hurt at all. This was a WONDERFUL Birthday gift. Thanks to Donelson Massage Center and Adam for making this day a very special day. I will see you all again very soon.

Great new facility, still the same great relaxing feeling. My schedule doesnt allow me to have the same person each time, but each person is knowledgeable and does a great job. Im a member and will continue to go!

They have excellent masseuses here. I love getting massages here, you are better off getting the membership. It will be cheaper in the long run, and each month you dont get a massage you get free massages built in.

I came to this place based on the 4.8 ratings. My therapist didnt do any massage rather just rubbed with some gloves on.Idk how this place has4.8 stars. The massage table was overly heated and I asked her to turn off the heat. She did something but it didn’t help. With so much heat there was this thick warm blanket and I was just sweating inside.The massage was nothing but a rub. She was wearing plastic gloves all the time and just rubbed my body with it with some oil. No massage at all. I was getting irritated with tose plastic gloves over skin. This place is a joke in the name of massage.After the massage was done the therapist was no where to be seen outside. No one offered for water as well. But they asked for tip. I tipped and left. Will never comeback to this place.

We stayed at the OpryLand Resort and this massage place was perfect! The price was the best I found, it was only a 10 minute drive, and it was nice and clean and a very relaxing environment.My wife and I had a couples massage and we would recommend to anyone.

So I found this place while doing a Google search.... I thought there is no way they can get me in today, much less within the next two hours......I was wrong! In a matter of minutes I scheduled my 90 minute massage and can honestly say it was one of the best I have ever had! It was amazing! I am looking forward to going back!

My wife and I had a couples massage this morning. My wife suffers from cronic stress headaches and Gina was able to give her a whole day pain free. Manda took care of me and was AWESOME!!!!! We will definitely be back.

Grateful to Joshua for giving my husband an excellent 75-minute massage, after my husbands long, stressful week at work. Joshua used hot towels and a neck heating pad, just like I had asked for in my online scheduling of the appointment. This was my husbands first massage ever, and Im so glad he left this place enjoying the experience.

Touch and intuition are extremely difficult (if not impossible) skills to teach a massage therapist. Some therapists have one, but not the other. Some have neither. Derrick at DMC has both, along with great professionalism, awareness, power, and technique. Best massage Ive had in a very long time. Also, the facilities are clean, quiet, and convenient. Go!

Awesome experience all-around. Josh was incredibly knowledgeable and paired with his clear experience, every spot on my body that needed work he found and fixed without me even needing to point it out to him. He stayed after to show me some extra stretches for a bothersome area. And most impressive, Josh cured my sinus infection so I could finally breathe again!

Friendly customer service at the front counter and good service by the massage therapist that I visit. One of the cleaner facilities that I have seen and definitely comfortable beds for the massage. I recommend checking it out!

Josh, the massage therapist, was incredible! He really listened to back issues and then discovered hip issues from where I had been adjusting my hips to alleviate the back pain. Cannot say enough great things about him and this massage center.

Pick another place. I didnt like the place, it was old and felt out of date. Not the feeling you want from a spa to relax. Wasnt offered a drink, do yourself and could not get any hot tea. Told therapist what I needed and didnt get it. Your better off to go elsewhere and pay for service worth your money.
