I’ve been going to Barbie Nails for months now, and this review is long overdue ❤️ I absolutely love Yol at Barbie Nails! Shes amazing. Her attention to detail is impressive, and my nails always look amazing. I started doing structural manicures, which were amazing! But then I accidentally broke all of my nails, so I got an acrylic set. Both services have been wonderful.

This was our first visit at Barbie Nails. Beautiful salon & extremely clean. We came on a Thursday and it was nice and quiet. Nail tech Ninive who took care of my daughter and I took her time. She honestly delivered more than expected with her work.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I got my nails and the gel dried with bubbles all over them and some parts of nails didn’t have gel at all. Since I came here in the past and have sat with the same girl, I called the next day and asked if I got them fixed because of the bubbles. I spoke to the girl but I started to feel bad so I told her since this is the first time this has happen I’ll let this time go but the girl insisted for me to come in. I ended up deciding to go and I was meant with the most disrespectful nail tech.She was extremely rude, she felt that I didn’t know what I was talking about because to her the nails were fine. she also said if i want perfect nails, to go find another person. I told her I didn’t want to disrespect her, I just wanted to get my nails fixed. If I were you I wouldn’t go here, unless you want to pay for something you didn’t want and then be faced with nasty employee.

Everyone there is very friendly and especially Ninive, she’s very talented and patient. She does amazing 3D art, However, one comment I have, is that their pedicure chairs are extremely uncomfortable.

Not like the typical nail places they actually take their time. Great customer service. This place feels very home like. My nails thank them very much.

These ladies are seriously talented! I particularly go to Alexandra and she always is accommodating on what I ask for design wise! absolutely love going here 🤍

Andelina (Ande) is BOSS 💕when it comes to designs and creating new ones! Today I got the 3D chrome. She executes them to perfection! She loves creating new designs and is passionate about making you feel beautiful because your nails look beautiful. I’m always indecisive when I come in, but Ande always has something in mind for me because she knows what I like. She works fast but does not miss a detail. ☺️I get my nails done every 4 weeks and continue to get compliments on them even on my 4th week. Cuticles and all… Ande really is a gem in this business. I’ve been coming since COVID reopening and never had a bad experience. She is so gracious and such a nice and personable person. Ask for Ande if you are looking for something BOSS!!💕

First time at Barbie Nails. Made an appointment for 3pm on a Tuesday arrived at the salon and the technician I was still busy with another customer. She didn’t bother to greet or say anything about her not being ready for the appointment. Delmy, the technician made us feel unwelcome. And later told me she couldn’t do my nails. Overall the experience was awful. I definitely would not recommend or spend my money on a service where people seemed unhappy to be there.

Here is my before and after. This was my 1st time there. I went to get a overlay on my nails and wanted the natural look. I went online and tried to book my appointment and was confused, so I called to verify exactly what I wanted, booked my appointment the same day. Got there a few moments early and was able to go right in and sit down. Alexandria was my tech and she was very nice, calm, pleasant to have do my nails. She has soft hands and us not rough with yours. I will say Alexandria new the assignment. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. My sister recommended this place to me and now I am recommending them to you.

Writing this review from my pedicure chair with YolmarlinAfter some subpar experiences with my previous nail salon, I was on the hunt for a new spot. Unfortunately many of the local spots have disappointing reviews. I’m so thankful I noticed Barbie Nails pop up on my late night google search. As much as I’d love to say aesthetics don’t make or break my impression, I was so excited to walk in and find an absolutely adorable and spotlessly clean environment. I excitedly snapped pics and sent to friends to share my find. As far as the service, nothing but praise for my gel pedicure. Yolmarlin took her time and was very attentive to every detail. I also appreciate being offered a fresh hot coffee to enjoy during my service. I am so pleased with my experience and I look forward to my next appointment. Highly recommend giving this little gem a try.

Mildre is so sweet! She is very professional, she works efficiently and does a great job on my gel mani and regular pedi. The salon is clean and pretty. Prices are average, about the same as everywhere else. They have specials throughout the week which help!

I was so excited for this place. I love that its so pink! The ladies were very nice, and Ninibet (so sorry if I got that wrong) went above and beyond to make me a color I liked.That being said, there are very few color options. The color choices arent very pretty either.When it came to the pedicure I was told they couldnt do french tips in regular polish, only in gel polish. I didnt want gel polish on my toes and the choices for regular polish were even less, and every one of the colors is ugly.So, for a refill and a basic pedicure with no polish I paid $120. I honestly felt taken advantage of.Sorry Barbie, Ill go somewhere else next time.

Ive been coming to this salon for years.. between Demaris amazing customer service always giving me what I ask for on my nails and yaneira on my hair I cant ask for a better duo. 5 stars for both of them .. salon always clean staff always with a smile . You have a customer for life ..

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this establishment. I first found this place about 5 years ago and I was having a nail emergency. Andy took care of me then ans has ever since. Everything here is very clean, high end, phenomenal quality of care and work, the professionalism is top knotch. I love the fact that she does appointments and late hours. Also very accommodating. I refer everyone here. The place is always clean and being updated. She even keeps my glow in the dark acrylic powders in full supply and pulls off all my ridiculous request. ❤️ this place and staff.

First time coming here and I had the pleasure to be attended by Natalia. From the moment you walk in they greet you and provide you with the best attention. Natalia took her time and did such a great job on my hands and feet.

Poor customer service. Was told to come in early for pedicure and given an appt for fill-in. Arrived on time and they said they didnt know who I spoke to. I would have to wait an hour and a half for appt to do both. I asked for anyone and was told no one was available. But someone was sitting on their phone doing nothing. They seemed VERY disinterested.Natalia (who my appt was with) was kind enough to try to explain and asked if she could go see if someone could was available, which meant there was other staff. Waste of time and gas money . No apologies

Great establishment! I’ve known the owner for over 7 years, been traveling with her throughout all her business ventures. Andelina and all her staff are amazing and very personable. Quality service, clean salons, and wonderful customer service. I recommend both Barbie Nails and Be Beauty to anyone looking for an experience…because that is what you get when you enter the establishment till you leave!!!

I found Barbie Nails on Instagram and booked an acrylic overlay fill & pedicure the same day. It’s hard to find a place in north/central NJ that does a really good job with overlays; every place other than here I’ve tried either only does acrylic sets or completely ruined my natural nails.The salon is very chill, with awesome music. Alexandra did my overlay - what a cool woman. She really wants to know what her clients like and takes her time to get it right. I am thrilled with how my nails turned out.Maria did my pedicure - no easy feat on someone who spends half their time in roller skates 😂 She was incredibly nice and considerate, with strong attention to detail.I will absolutely be back - well worth the drive down from where I live closer to NYC.

It’s not often this mama gets away and thankfully I did today and had the most enjoyable pedicure and vip manicure. The staff is delightful and very hardworking. I felt the best I have In. Long while and I’m extremely thankful to the staff at barbie for ensuring my relaxation was perfect!

Did a beautiful job with french gel nails! Would def come back again!

My first time there I got a gel manicure and pedicure done. Pedicure was perfect and they even fixed a piece of my toenail with acrylic that was missing due to an injury and made it look so natural. I had a couple of issues with my manicure but the manager called me immediately the next day and asked me to come back in to have it fixed. Manager was so kind and made sure I knew that they would fix my problem no questions asked. These are the kind of managers that every establishment needs.

I get my hard gel nails and gel pedicure done with Ninive and her service is always exceptional. She’s always on point with ensuring nail health first & the nail design is always on point! 10/10 recommend.

Last minute walk-in on a Friday evening and they took both my sister and I immediately. Manicure was very detailed and clean.

Darla did my nails for my birthday and I’m obsessed! She is so skilled and sweet. The shop is also very cute and decorated for Halloween! They gained a loyal customer :)

Horrible customer service, my friend went there and since she didn’t speak Spanish they talked bad about her in Spanish. She repeated back to me what they said and I speak Spanish and the things they said were so rude. Then they over priced her for a French set with a “design”, which was a simple little heart, when their website clearly stated it was a different price. They also cut her skin while drilling her nail, and left a huge cut. They have horrible customer service, do not come here!

Go see Ninive she is great! I have been going to her for a few months and my nails feel healthy and well maintained.

I LOVE ANDE!! She always does a great job on my nails. She is patient with me even when I dont know what design I want. She has great customer service. When I break a nail she tells me to just come in and she will fix it. I dont have to wait days or make an appointment for a simple nail fix. She can do all the latest designs. Her salon has a nice ambiance and the rest of the staff is so nice.

This Nail & Beauty salon is a very amazing business. Everything is set organized by appointments in advance. Schedules are made for each worker to fit into for each client , unlike most nail spas .. Barbie Nails & Beauty Studio .. will provide options for time of appointments to see which one will be more beneficial for you. Salon stays clean , smells very pleasant & is decorated very elegantly. Fits very well with the Barbie theme. Not only nails but also hair services are provided here as well. Prices are fair , not too expensive. The work done on the nails are completely worth it.

This is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to and hands-down the best one in the area and all the surrounding areas! I got the pleasure of meeting the owner and she took care of my daughter who’s birthday it was and she made it absolutely beyond special! Both lovely women working were absolutely outstanding and provided the best customer service I have had in so long! I can’t wait for my next visit!

Incredible artistry and service! I got neon yellow-green with light pink and glitter ombré nails and they came out fantastic. The staff is extremely professional and know what they are doing. They also added crystal stones and they came out great. I highly recommend this nail salon for whatever style you are looking for.

OVERPRICED & SLOWIt’s alright, took me 2 hours for a full set with gel polish. Nothing crazy, usually it takes me 1 hour. And it was uncomfortable. They seat you in these seats where it blocks off your thighs,so you have to try to stretch across the table. It’s was 2 uncomfortable hours.They charged 75 dollars for a full set, not color acrylic. Just regular..And the gel wasn’t even the good brand. Some dried up old gel polish that as was struggling to take out.I had friends warn me & I see why they said they never go back.P.S - one nail basically broke while I was wrapping gifts 2 days after and then 2 more with the week .

My sister and I visited this salon after we saw how beautiful their nail work was online. We had an event we were going to as well. You have to book online for an appointment and put down a deposit on the service which was fine. On their website they allowed me to select a gel manicure and pedicure for $67, I chose Canela to do my manicure and another tech to do my pedicure. I really wanted Canela to do my nails because I saw her work on Instagram and really liked it, I also made sure to put in my appointment notes that I wanted to get a design on my nails. My sister chose Belki to get an acrylic set. When we arrived I was put in the pedicure chair, and had my feet done. It was actually a really good pedicure! But when I was finished they told me Canela could no longer do my nails because I booked both the manicure and the pedicure for the same time (even though the app booked the service together) . The thing is Canela was just sitting there doing nothing while I was getting my pedicure done, I wouldn’t have minded getting my hands done first and waiting a while for a pedicure. They had another girl do my nails and she was very nice but clearly very intimidated when I showed her a picture of what I wanted. She told me a design is an extra $35, but the price went down to $10 because she really couldn’t do what I wanted (which was actually still nice of her). But she kept having to ask Canela for advice on how to do my nails lol. My sister ended up with a beautiful acrylic set but 5 of her fingers were covered in blood because belki kept cutting her with the drill and the cuticle nippers. My sister said she would keep cutting even though she said it hurt and it was bleeding. This is a very clean salon, there’s no smell, good jelly pedicures, but there seems to be some customer service issues that need to be resolved especially since the price is so high. I’m giving 3 stars because I think they could do better

I have been going to Barbie nails for the past 6 months and am so happy. Andelina does an excellent job, my nails last a long time, and no matter the design I bring in, she recreates it. I get compliments on my nails constantly; even after 4 weeks.The pedicures are excellent too. Seline does an amazing job and ensures my feet are baby smooth!

The day of my appointment I received a text from my nail tech asking to reschedule my appointment. She didn’t specify that she wouldn’t be doing my nails the day she rescheduled me for so instead Belki did them. My appointment was at 11am and she got there at 11:23. She kept cutting me several times while filling the acrylics shorter and shorter. I even showed her a picture of what I wanted and never did she tell me that french was an extra $15 😑. Was I just suppose to assume it was extra , like ??? Oh and did I mention my prom is literally tomorrow. The owner did not want to reimburse the amount I paid. They told me I could go back and get them done with Belki again but why would I want to have the same person ruin my nails again. Very unprofessional.

I love it here!!! Barbie nails is such a wonderful, relaxing, and enjoyable place!! I been doing my nails with Andelina for 3 years now and i can honestly say I have loved my nails EVERY SINGLE TIME!! You pay for what you get !! A shoutout to my girl jasmine for all my pedicures that I enjoy all the time!! 😍❤️

Worst service ever I called there to get an appointment. They send me online to do my appointment. It was my first time going into manicure. I choose gel not acrylic because I did not know the difference. They charged me 45 dollar for 2 person my friend and I. When I arrived there. I told the lady I was wondering to get nail I did not know the difference. She said ‘ you choose gel we can not do acrylic’ I was like but I ask you and you send me online. She said she couldn’t do my services and she couldn’t give me my money back because she cannot cancel that transition anymore. I was like I am here on time, and I pay online for a service that I don’t want. In my personal opinion I do not recommend this place. Very disappointed. I lose my money for a service not provided.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this salon. The owner is amazing! My nails always come out exactly like I want it. They has so many options. It is an appointment only establishment of the most and i loce that. Your not waiting for 3-5 hrs like some other places. The decor is so cute. The pedicure stations have you feeling so royal. Lol. And you can order healthy meal replacement shakes and other things while your there. You got hair, nails, makeup and healthy snacks all in one place. Ooohhh and they are open 7 days a week. I get out of work late and im able to book late appointment on the website without any issues. Love this salon 😁

They are very kind. only reason for the extra star. i’ve been here 3 times, and only the owner has done a good job on my nails. i just left this place and i am so upset. got a gel manicure, the first girl that worked on my nails thought i came in for a full set, cut all my nails off down to the skin (i’ve been working on growing them out for months now). so the second lady to work on my nails did a horrible paint job, i left with polish all around my nails and on my skin. Already have bubbles forming. she didn’t even give me a manicure, no picking my cuticles, nothing but a shape and paint. i am soooo disappointed and hurt that my nails are all gone, and now sloppy. Hurt i spent my money here, never again.

The golden rule for any business man or woman is this:“Put yourself in your customer’s place.”I was super hesitant about leaving this review because I’m the type of person who never wants to make anyone look bad and I’m very good at just walking away and never looking back when I’m truly finished with something. However– yesterday, something was posted on the owner’s Instagram account regarding pedicures with Jazmin and I could not even fathom the thought process of this decision. Andelina, the owner, stated that beginning July 1st, Jazmin will no longer be taking Regular Pedicure customers. Instead, she will only be accepting appointments for Spa Pedicures. I could not even believe what my eyes were reading LOL. Let me start off by saying that my last experience at this nail salon will literally be my LAST. I was there on June 18th (not too long ago), and I booked a 4PM regular pedi with Jazmin & 5:30PM gel mani with Arisleidy. I arrived to the location at 3:45PM (15 minutes early). Once I walked in, Jazmin told me I was early (which I was aware of) and that she was running behind. I told her it was no problem- as I never* have a problem with waiting for someone I really enjoy booking with. She then followed with asking me if I could do my manicure first or see her sister for my pedicure instead of her. I told her if Arisleidy (who was with a client) finished early and didn’t have anyone next, I would be fine with it... whatever worked out for her, but I did not want to see anyone else for my toes. She said OK. Thankfully, Aris finished early with her guest and began my gel manicure. Might I just add that Arisleidy (of all the times I’ve been there) has always been super punctual and efficient with her work. I have always enjoyed seeing her for my hands/nails and my issue with this nail salon has absolutely nothing to do with her. Upon finishing my gel manicure with Aris, Jazmin slides her chair up to me and says in Spanish (but I’ll translate)- “The client I’m with is being very difficult, would you be able to come tomorrow?” I told her I wouldn’t and would prefer to wait, being that I was already there. In addition to the fact that it’s probably 4:45 at this time, I drive 45 minutes to get there each time I make an appointment with them... Why I would return the next day? I have no clue. I told her I drove far and didn’t have the time to come in the next day– but Jazmin regretted to inform me that there was absolutely no way she would be able to complete my pedicure service because her 5PM appointment was going to arrive within the next 10 minutes. She was not worried about me, who got there 15 minutes early and was not intending to contact her 5PM to let them know there was someone in front of them, NO. She simply preferred/chose to SKIP my appointment. That’s when disappointment truly came to me and I had no words. I simply told her not to worry about it and that I would go look for somewhere else to go for my pedicure. She said sorry and continued working on her client. Not only does she not comprehend the VALUE of her customers, but she did not respect my time, my dedication to her work, or my feelings. Everyone there clearly knew I was bothered and no one offered to make the situation better. That was when I knew that I never wanted to return to Barbie Nails ever again. I got up, paid for my gel manicure, tipped Arisleidy, said good bye to her & her ONLY and walked right out the door. It is extremely unfortunate for the business owner, being as successful and driven as she is, to have to find out through a review exactly how her employees treat their loyal customers when she isn’t present. I have never felt so degraded nor will I ever go to any business that gives off that vibe. I’m sure that if Jazmin were in my shoes, she would have felt the same way. It’s a shame that now they’re talking about her only doing “spa pedicures” when she can’t even find the time to complete a regular one!!! I find it hilarious. Good luck with all of your future endeavors as a business.

Barbie Nails is my absolute favorite place to get my nails done. I regularly come in for acrylic sets and fill ins. Andelina consistently does an amazing job with her designs. My nails dont chip or crack for at least two weeks, when its time for a new fill anyway.

Shes been doing my nails for about 3 years now. Her work is top notch and last a long time. (i usually go once every 4 or 8 weeks) Love her and her work ! :)

Had an apt at 5:15 was on time being that they charge if you are late or don’t show. I was told to come back in 30 min. Came back and was told to sit in the chair that someone would be right with me. Sat there for another 45 min with no communication as to what was going on. My mother referred me so she called and was told I should come back another day. I expressed that someone could of told me they over booked and was unable to take my appt. the girl at the front then told me it was my fault .. instead of saying sorry and offering me another service or time to come in. Will never be back and neither will my family who used to use this salon frequently. Awful customer service. They will waste your time . Do not go here .

This place is very nice inside but the lady who did my nails very horrible job she didnt know how to do a filling or paint nails my design was horrible and only after 4 days almost all my nails had air bubbles lifting up never again. I dont know how shes working there doing nails she had nice make up on she should work doing makeup and return back to school for nails and her hair color was very nice like the gray.

This is definitely the worst place to get your nails done at, not only the customer service is bad but also the products they use do not work ! THE GEL FOR YOUR NAILS PEELS OFF after 2 days 🤢 I’m not cheap but paying $47 dollar for a refill that peels right off IS NOT OKAY. I’m completely dissatisfied with their service and the owner’s attitude. Wouldn’t recommend anybody to go there and please delete your credit cards from their system they might charge you more without you even noticing 👎🏼

Best place to get your nails done !! the staff is amazingly talented and patient, and will always make sure you’re satisfied with your nails. the outcome makes the prices worth it , if it’s you’re first time i’d recommend jazmine she does an amazing job.

Nail tech damaged nails with acrylic set. Shaved off too much of my natural nail and so the line that meets my real nail with the acrylic is almost completely gone. Going to have to now grow out natural nails before getting another set.

I did my pedicure with Yomairi… she’s friendly and was really nice.

After hearing a lot of good things about Barbie Nails I decided to give it a try. I was impressed. They really take their time with your nails so that they look their best. They do excellent work.

This nail salon is so nice, like no cap.They did my nails and I’m in love with it.I had it so 1 month and days and it still perfect.Don’t get it started with the pedicure,I did plain white gel nails and it’s still good.If you haven’t been to this place then I don’t know what ya doing with ya life.

I got a pedicure and they filed too hard on the side of my feet and my toes. I got a bruise on the side of my foot and I’m missing 1/4 of my big toenail.

1_ One day after arriving from Florida, I urgently needed to get my toenails and fingernails touched up. I googled and found this site on 01/07/23. I was surprised to find an immediate appointment on a Saturday at 11 am. In general, I am an empathetic person and I try to see more of the positive things than the negative things in the reviews. I decided to give it a chance and I cant stay silent. A lovely girl picked me up at 12:30. But without experience. I was there from 12:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon. After giving me a price of $95.00 for a fingernail and toenail touch-up, they charged me $105. Plus the tip I gave. And its not the price Im complaining about. The thing is that the owner of this site uses girls with no experience, whom she teaches herself, and charges as if she were doing the work, who I dont doubt has a lot of experience. On Sunday I already had one nail detached, today is Wednesday I already have 4 detached ones on both hands. My feet looked like they were made by a novice. (Without underestimating, the girl, I repeat, was charming). Of course, Im not coming back even for a guarantee. Never in my life have I spent 5 hours getting my nails and feet touched up.2- Regarding your response to my message, everyone who reads the review knows that my complaint is not about money. You were charged and paid what you asked for. My complaint is not only the 5 hours in your salon, so that the next day they were peeling off the material from my nail. Nothing. A photo speaks louder than a thousand excuses.

Almost a month later and they are still perfect. If you are passing through or live in the area I recommend visiting. The place is nice and the girls are very nice.
