Ive known Paula since probably 2015. She came recommended to me from my client. Now shes in her own salon & Im so happy for her. Shes made the new location very inviting! All her staff is friendly when I visit. I also started going to Tasha for my nails. Tasha & me cut up & have a good time when Im there. I always feel at home! Definitely pay them a visit! Hair, skin, or nails! Theyve got it all!

Paula is very professional and down to earth. Always has good conversation and great bed-side matter. Her wax feels good on the skin and not too hot. It doesn’t hurt like that either. Other waxers have me in pain but for some reason she doesn’t. Maybe it’s the was she presses on it after she removes the strip idk but I like her I’ve been coming to her about 3 years and will continue too. She’s the only one I trust with my 🐱 lol.

What an amazing little gem! I was gifted a package for my birthday and it was everything! I had a massage, mani, pedi and facial with champagne and a mini charcuterie board.The salon itself is well appointed, clean and very peaceful but the people really make this my new go to salon.Paula was very attentive and made sure my whole visit ran smoothly and Tosha was a little ray of sunshine that made it the perfect visit. 10/10

Ive been going to Tasha for my nails for years. She is very knowledgeable about nail health, and if I ever have a concern, I trust her to provide guidance in my best interest. I trust her to apply sanitary practices when doing my nails, and its why I have followed her to this salon. I love that the salon is small, so you are never surrounded by people. Its very clean and bright, and everyone in the salon is helpful and nice! Plenty of parking is available, too.

Tasha does amazing nails, I’ve been going to her for almost four years now and she has created a lovely station at Sol Cura over the past year. Sol Cura is delightful, with pristine cleanliness, and many comforts available (water, pillow, neck wrap, paraffin dip, just ask!). Tasha is incredibly sweet as well, she cares very much about the work she does. Highly recommend her to all my friends!

Made an appointment for an eyebrow wax. Was quickly greeted and service performed. I love them! We also had a brief discussion about other services. Paula is great, place is cute, loved having music while she worked. Will be back soon for other services for sure!

Sol Cura is my neighborhood Day Spa, and Ive been there several times now. Tasha cuts my hair. Michie does my nails. Paula waxes my brows. All 3 of these ladies are great at what they do, and are wonderful human beings. The salon is cozy, clean and comfortable. Its just the right size, in my opinion. Not too crowded. I moved to a different part of Uptown, but still within walking distance from Sol Cura. I love supporting hard working local businesses. Each of the women in this salon are their own small business. I recommend all of the services here and the stylists are all lovely.They have several team members and lots of different services to choose from: Haircuts, Hair Color, Manicure, Pedicure, Massage, UpDos, Makeup, Waxing, Facials, and many more. Paula is amazing! Shes attentive, thorough and never misses a beat (or hair) Lol. Paula was my first experience with Brazilian waxing and I do not regret going to her. She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable during each experience. The atmosphere is calm, she plays great music, the salon in always clean, and the conversations are genuine and entertaining.

Paula is hands down the best. Ive used countless hair removal specialists in the New Orleans area over the years and her expertise is unmatched. I NEVER leave reviews but after my experience here, I just had to tell the world about Mrs. Paula.. HANDS DOWN the best hair remover I’ve ever been to.. She was very sweet and very informative! After telling her I’ve been having issues with hormonal acne, she spoke with me about ways to remedy the situation without trying to push her services down my throat! She even made time to squeeze in another service for me..! She has me FOREVER now! I’m booking my microdermabrasion appointment next week after my trip! She is a one stop shop for ALL women! Exceptional customer service! P.S this lady does not have a racist bone in her body..! I’m African American and she was very accommodating and nice! Her hands and heart are touched by God.. No Lie! Try her for yourself!

Paula is THE best! She is thorough, takes her time, and is very personable. My first impression of her was quiet and shy, but it didnt take long for us to develop a rapport and now at my visits we are updating each other on what is going in each of our lives. I had such a terrible experience with the last spa that I was going to (literally left in tears) and was very reluctant to even get another Brazilian. I had two friends refer me to her and I decided to give her a try. Its been over a year now and Im so happy that I did. She is a genuine spirit that makes me feel relaxed for what could be somewhat of an awkward experience depending on what services you see her for. Whether you get to know her or not, her services, prices, and expertise can not be topped.

Ive been coming monthly. Loves how quick the wax time takes. 15 min tops. Ms. Paula is extremely nice. I was over charged once, but I still continue to come to her. I found through Groupon and have continued ever since.

It was my first visit and first Brazilian wax. I was a bit nervous but was able to succumb the slightly uncomfortable pain. Its not as bad as I thought it would be. Paula was very professional and friendly. I will definitely be coming back again for my follow up visit in a month.

Im usually optimistic, however the reviews of 1 stars are sufficient the owner Paula does have a horrible attitude and immedialty when she saw me she judge me and said I could not use my Groupon if I used it before. She insisted on asking me if I had been to a wax place on magazine (b/ I specifically told her no, not that Im aware of, Ive been to a couple of place in the city for waxes like Bella, European & a couple of other places with above & beyond friendly service). I told her I didnt even want her to do anything to my body since she appeared as if she didnt want to serve me! Im never going back (& this was my 1st visit). I drove 30min for this she could have taken the customers word & honored my groupon! She didnt want to do the services b/c she didnt even let me know the normal price of the wax! I will write a review on Groupon as well and request a refund! I suggest you not waste your time, gas or money...she discriminated me! That was not a good feeling b/ Im glad I know now!

Ive been coming to Paula for my waxes for over a year. I started off as a groupon purchase. Her prices are very reasonable. Shes very professional and I have no complaints.

Paula has always been amazing and extremely attentive. Paula has done my waxes well over 5 years now, and she’s still the sweetest.

Very bright and clean. Never rushed and my manicure is always perfect. Plenty of parking.

My first couple of appointments went well, the Brazilian wax was quick and easy and less expensive than most places. However, on my last appointment I was not able to show up due to financial reasons so I never clicked “confirm” when I received the confirmation text message a few days prior. They called me the day of and I told them I wasn’t able to show up. A few days later, I see a $20 transaction made through them. Confused, I called and asked what it was about and they said it was a fee for not cancelling 24 hours ahead. Apparently that info was in the waiver, and on the website on the policy page which appears blank, but you have to scroll and scroll to the veryyyy bottom to see the policy. I advised that when they send the confirmation text message, they should also note that there will be a fee if you do not cancel in time. Hopefully they will add that so other people like me who cannot afford a 24 hour cancellation fee, will be sure to call ahead and cancel.

Tasha is the best in nails in NOLA. Young, spunky, business owner. Also the nicest person ever! Go see her!!

I ordered a Groupon from this consumer online it did not say in the fine print in order for you to get an appointment you will have to pay an additional $20 she did say the $20 will be refunded to you once you book the appointment online but I just feel like things of this nature should be in the description box up on the Groupon page so you’re spending $40 actually please beware
