This is the best place for a wax and mani pedi in the city. Linda, Karla, and Mercedes allll do an incredible and thorough job. Waxes are painless and smooth and gel manicures last 3+ weeks for me. The energy there is warm, fun, and welcoming. I feel pampered every time. They all take great care and love what they do!!

Karla is my girl!! I love Karla, I’ve been going to her for about a year now and I love it! She uses strip wax and explained that it’s better than hard wax for darker skin complexions so the area isn’t as dark as it used to be when I was using hard wax. She’s gentle and gets the job done quick every time! I’m in and out within 20 mins.

I highly recommend The Venus experience 10/10. This was my first time here getting a Brazilian Wax, my legs and armpits done and Linda was very professional, and my goodness she was so gentle with me. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Definitely recommend her and her staff.

Had my legs, bikini, and pits waxed and it was incredible. They were incredibly kind, comfortable, and efficient. Will be going here from now on for all my waxing needs! Better than any fancy pancy expensive place you could go to. Best wax I’ve ever had!

Got a full leg wax and mani-pedi. AMAZING 🤩 I loved every minute of it. Miss Linda was thorough with my wax and then I moved on with Miss Mercedes who was super detailed with my Pedi. How relaxing. The atmosphere was so chill and I never felt rushed. Not living in NOLA makes me sad because I would be here all the time. Thank you ladies for making me feel part of the family.

She is such a perfectionist (which I love). I go to Mrs. Linda for my Brazilian wax and I can’t say enough good things about her. Funny, friendly, thorough, and most importantly very experienced, so getting a wax with her is virtually painless. She makes you feel comfortable and truly cares about leaving you hairless/happy versus other wax places that just try to get you in and out as quick as possible. A lovely little spa nestled in an adorable uptown neighborhood! Booking online makes things so easy and you never really have to wait around for appointments. Linda is very professional while also doing a great job making sure youre comfortable. My new fav place to get waxed! All the staff there is wonderful.

I absolutely cannot recommend this place & specifically Linda enough. I have thick, dark eyebrows that get unruly super quickly & I had gotten used to getting my eyebrows messed up by several other salons around the city. Linda, however, is the only person who actually knows how to handle my eyebrows and I get compliments on them CONSTANTLY with people asking where I get them done. Linda is also super hospitable and great to her regulars, never once have I left this place disappointed. Thank you Linda!!

Ms. Linda did an amazing job with the wax and was very gentle and helped me stay calm through my first Brazilian wax. She made me feel completely comfortable and the waxing was done beautifully. Will be going back for future waxes

Miss Linda gives the best Brazilian Wax ever! And Ive been getting them for 30 years! It was happenstance I found her, but will be leaving my old waxing place in the dust. Her products are excellent and LITERALLY pain free. She even fine-tuned with tweezers and also got rid of the ingrown hairs from the previous waxing Ive been getting done. She explained that hard Wax will break off at the surface and thats why I was getting so many ingrown. She really took her time and was so very nice!! I am VERY HAPPY!!

This was my first wax and Linda made me feel very comfortable. She was very chatty and reassured me. And I promise with Lindas technique it barely hurt - no lie! Would definitely recommend for anyone who is a little nervous. Also she gave me a 50% discount because it was my first visit.

I had a male brazilian wax with Karla Hernandez. She was amazing. Very clean, professional and constantly checked if I was doing okay. She paid attention to specific areas I wanted to focus on and was very thorough. Her English isnt perfect but it wasnt an issue. she was still very fun to talk to and made me very comfortable. I got a Brazilian wax with Linda today and it was WONDERFUL! I’ve previously been waxed at European Wax Center and both times were very painful experiences. Linda is very professional and excellent at what she does (I experienced very little pain and she got all the hair off)! She offers student discounts and I will be back for sure.

I’ve been doing a Brazilian here for a year and it’s been great! At other places I’ve gotten it with hard wax and I always got ingrowns and irritation afterwards. But Linda uses a special strip wax; it barely hurts and I get no more ingrowns! I love this place - hard to match the service anywhere else!

Linda may be alright at Brazilians as some of the reviews dictate, but downright ruined my waxing experience. I came in for a back wax with my girlfriend, although Linda attempted to chat and we engaged in mild conversation throughout, I specifically requested that she avoid my upper neck (right under my hair line) as I like my barber to shape and shave this. She proceeded to tell me “oh okay, we’ll let your barber handle it” and then immediately proceeded to apply wax to the area as I complained audibly. I’ve come home to find a large amount of wax in my hair, even the parts not along my neckline, as she kept ripping the strips up towards my hair. She didn’t respect my requests pertaining to my body and I am utterly outraged and appalled.

The place and service is great, the lady is great, but the double dipping in wax is a health hazard illegal in many states and would strongly recommend them using the stick only ONCE, like any other decent waxing place. I got the Brazilian wax. Sorry lady, your place was great and would have been a regular but that ruined it for me.

Mrs. Linda is the best! Everytime I fly into New Orleans from Housyon, I make a waxing appointment. I refuse to let anyone else wax me. As big as Houston is, I have not found anyone that compares to her waxing.

Best place ever. I got my 1st Brazillian wax from a woman who has been doing it for 22 years. Its not like they show on you tube. It was not painful at all. I guess with experience comes great craftsmanship.

This place is not sanitary and they are bad at waxing. The lady doing the waxing didnt change the wax applicator (dipping stick) once. When asked why she wasnt, as everywhere else Ive ever been they toss the applicator after each dip/use, she replied because no bacteria live in the warm wax. The wax isnt boiling and they use the same pot of it for everyone. So gross. She also had poor waxing technique and repeatedly waxed the same area until it was raw. Will not be going back.

The ladies at the Venus Experience took really great care of me. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for pampering services. A wonderful hidden gem!

Mercedes is one of the best masseuses I have ever been to. She knows how to get to those places that are really problem issues. One of the best massages I have ever had.
