Cavo Night Club

Club is nice with 2 dance floors! There is no entry fee. Crowd is decent. Bartender service is not good. There should be more number of bartenders on weekend. It takes too long to get a drink.

Friends rented the space for cider - Penn Brewery release. Awesome space. Fast bartenders (kimmy?) and others. Polite security. Huge space broken up in three areas. Once music gets going two become great dance areas. Lots of girls. So many girls. Great vibe. Get here for a couple hours one weekend.

Fun nightclub with great music. Two different dance floors with different styles of music to choose from. My only issue is the VIP area, rug was so sticky and we asked to move it or roll it up but no go. Gotta clean guys!

This was my first time at Cavo and will have to be my last. I understand that bartending on weekends can be very stressful, but I absolutely cannot tolerate bartenders blatantly lying about a mistake because they thought someone was too drunk to notice. I was DD and watching over a friend who started a tab with the middle bar. I watched her hand the card to a male bartender who started the tab at the far left computer at the middle bar. A couple hours later she goes to close the tab and the same bartender says he doesn’t have a card with her name on it.The easy way to solve this issue would have been to simply say “okay, it’s not open with me so let me look it up and see who it was opened with, since you’ll need to close with them.”Instead, this turned into a 1+ hour debacle with the two male bartenders at the middle bar arguing with us and saying a different bartender at the same bar opened the tab and that my friend was “obviously” been mistaken. Except that I watched this happen, and the man who *swore* up and down he clearly remembered her wasn’t even at the bar when she was originally served.None of this had to happen. All they had to do was look it up in the computer, which was confirmed when the sweet female bartender did exactly this for us (thank you!) at the front after we had been ignored for 15-20 more minutes by the middle bar.Even if we were both completely mistaken, this was all they had to do. It took the bartender at the front less than 30 seconds to do. We weren’t demanding, we weren’t rude, we didn’t interrupt anyone. It was just complete disregard and lack of professionalism on their part.It’s ugly behavior and reflects poorly on the club as a whole, which was otherwise a great atmosphere. When bartenders are continuously ruining people’s experiences (as seen in many other reviews), it may be time to reevaluate the current staffing decisions.

Security guard burst into the restroom and ran us out of the building and down the block because they thought we were getting intimate in the restroom. We were both just relieving ourselves, nothing else. I will never go back after being falsely accused of that. It was outright homophobic, and they threw other friends out for getting sick. I cannot dislike this place enough.

Its a little strange to write a review for a nightclub, because people rate it by their experiences with other individuals, which really isnt the fault of the club (mostly). Ill try to separate experience from the actual club service up front:Cavo itself: 4/5My experience: 2/5Arrived there around midnight on a Friday evening and waited about 25 minutes in a line of 40+ people to enter. There is a VIP line, not sure how that works. Bouncers will check your ID and bags, but theres surprisingly no cover.Entering Cavo, youre greeted by a massive crowd standing nearly shoulder to shoulder and Spanish music playing. You can push through the crowd to an intermediate coat check hallway (costs $2 to check a coat). Here I will give Cavo -1 because when we arrived, the coat check line was long and by the time we waited, it was full and we were told we couldnt check a coat, despite others waiting to get theirs out. The line to get a coat out of the coat check was 10+ minutes long when we arrived and on the way out near closing, was easily 15+ minutes long if not longer. Wouldnt recommend checking a coat for that wait alone.The second room past the coat check is a seating area and larger standing bar. A late night menu is available with food between $7-$10, but I didnt see anyone taking orders or getting orders. Cocktails are around $14 (?) and I didnt catch how much a beer was, but Id guess $10ish.The last room is where most of the dancing happens with American dance remixes (think Blinding Lights, Katy Perry, etc.) and is by far the worst experience. There is a VIP area up front and two cages where dancers will occasionally go. Tons of lights and even confetti drops on big music drops. But there are too many people that shove through the crowd. Nothing Cavo could control unless they limit entry more, but its a poor experience to try dancing in when you get stepped on or shoved every minute. Other clubs Ive been to have done better at managing the crowd.+No cover+Decently fast bar service+Coat check $2 but-Coat check gets full and long wait on busy nights-Overcrowded (expected for a club with no cover)Cant comment on drink quality because I didnt order a cocktail.

My cousin and I have been go to cavo on every Saturday, but last time the bartender (blonde girl with shaved hair) treated us so awful. Her attitude was so rude and hostile. All we did was respectfully waiting for her to clean the around and asking for two drinks. After all that attitudes we decided to not tip this time (we always do normally). And after we signed the receipt she looked at it and forced us to leave a tip and said never ask anything from me! As loyal customers we love Cavo but we never deserved that.

Absolutely absurd experience with the power tripped bouncers last night. refused my fiancé entry because he was wearing “athletic shorts” - he was wearing designer everyday wear shorts. compared to other clowns they let in from past experiences here, he was dressed very nicely. we were a large group of 10 prepared to spend hundreds of dollars and we walked away when he was denied entry. guess this place hates money because we will never return because of this ridiculous experience!

Bruno and Jeremy were so helpful in finding my bag that I lost. they re the best bouncers ever and they do their job so well. they act scary but are super fair and theyre actually very very nice and caring people. they deserve a raise 200000%

Didnt even get a chance to go in. Went there foe my friends 21st birthday the scanner couldnt read her id and they were trying to say its a fake which it wasnt because we got in other places and then they asked her if she had a picture of her birth certificate like who walks around with a picture of their birth certificate. So after being told we couldnt come in one of the workers came outside and told us we can buy a section for 150 dollars why would we buy a section if we cant even get in. Then the music selection wasnt great at all.

Just saw a bunch of security guards kicking a non white man out in the most unprofessional manner within my personal space. I have been going to this club for many years and I will never ever go to a club again. I was absolutely disgusted with what I just saw tonight. I repeat. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS CLUB AGAIN! I can take this club to court for this. Absolutely unacceptable!

Excellent vibe for a night out. Has 2 dance floors with excellent music. Cost check available. Service experience was mixed.I interacted with 2 staff members behind the bar counter. One was friendly, served quickly and was nice to talk to. The other was the polar opposite. She couldn’t be bothered to listen to us. Didn’t even properly serve the drink that we ordered.

Bouncers clearly have not been taught to understand what an out of state ID looks like. Claimed mine was not real but it’s same id I used to get through airport TSA. Told me to call “911” since there were no cops in area. Very sneaky. DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL COSTS. BOUNCERS ARE NOT KNOWLEGABLE AT ALL. They do not understand out of state IDs at all. They are not trained well at all. Told me my ID was not real even though it passed through airport security. They tell you to call the cops but there are no cops around. Bunch of inexperienced bouncers. DO NOT VISIT!!!

Very nice vibe and good music and spacious, only issue is the bartenders. They are not nice at all and ruin the vibe. (The bald one especially)

Several women’s phones were stolen on the dance floor this past Friday. Be very careful where you put your phones. Staff went above and beyond helping us out immediately when the cops said they’d address the issue in a “week or two.” Very fun scene and great music- just be aware!!

One of the best place in town to hangout,loud music lovely crowd…amazing ambiance and musculine bouncers and well organized place…must go place for a weekend late night hangout!!!Cheers

Me and my gf went last Saturday and all I have to say is that we were mind blown. Music was great, atmosphere was great , definitely recommend coming here and plan on coming back one day!!

It is 2 in 1 club, they have 2 halls one for the latin and Spanish music and the other for the English music. Best night club ever, real rock.

As soon as you walk in the floor is really sticky. The played a lot of music that you couldnt understand what there talking about, there was probably like 2 bar tenders that acted like they wanted to be there. They dont follow there dress code, it said no head wear, and no long sleeve clothing, people still walked in with head wear and long sleeve clothing. The only thing that I thought was worth coming was not getting charged on a Saturday, and the girls, when if they were dancers or girls just coming to have some fun, they definitely had some good looking girls. But all in all they wont see me again.

Always a fun time, one of the only true dance clubs in Pittsburgh.

The bouncer admitting people inside made borderline racist comments to my friend based on the color of our skin.

Tried to go here for my 22nd birthday and it was a huge mistake. The bouncers were incredibly rude to me and my friends and confiscated 3 of our IDs claiming them to be fake despite the fact that they were real. We waited 30 minutes for the cops to arrive all the while the mangers were taunting us and telling us we were going to get citations. My one friend started crying and begging for her legal ID back and the manager with fake lips and hair extensions continued to antagonize her as if the whole ordeal were funny to her. The cops never came after 30 minutes and they finally gave us our IDs back and told us to leave. If I could rate zero stars I would. I’ve never met more rude people at a club before and I will never come back.

Completely unprofessional conduct. Despite my drivers license being a legitimate REAL ID (meaning I had to physically visit the DMV and submit my passport as verification), the bouncer thought it was a fake and bent it like crazy. Despite warning him not to damage my ID, he ignored me, bent the corner of my license with force, and peeled off the laminate. He then confiscated my ID. I threatened to call the police, and he became extremely hostile. Another bouncer forced me to prove my age via a scanned passport copy. The bouncer then passed my ID through the scanner, and it RETURNED AS LEGIT.I was furious and called for the manager at the end of the night. She was extremely rude and did not apologize for the bouncers egregious error. She said she could do nothing and essentially just told me to get out. Never coming back here, and none of you should either.

My friends and I wanted a night to enjoy ourselves but as soon as we entered we were uncomfortable due to the fact that my guy friend was berated about wearing sunglasses and not having his button down completely buttoned, it was ridiculous with the amount of homophobia at this establishment and this review is a warning for anyone that presents not their gender. (all female presenting had sunglasses to add, the only one who was commented on was the male presenting)

My friends and I went to celebrate a birthday and it was a blast! Great atmosphere and music. We also happened to be a part of a hype crowd when we arrived; I breakdanced on the floor and had an awesome time seeing some of the talented dancers Pittsburgh had to offer. This place is our favorite and we’ll definitely be back for other occasions.

In my personal experience, it was the worst club Ive ever been to. Two doormen a black guy with a big beard, a burly white guy who always sits on a stool, two security guards, and they try to maximize the little power they have. People in shorts and people who didnt follow the dress code were all put in. But they cant mess with white people and they cant mess with black people, but they can mess with me because Im yellow. The first time they tried to stop my companion, who was wearing beach pants, they insisted they were gym shorts. Finally, I told the manager that I had booked the most expensive table in the house to let us in. (The black security guard was upset, of course, because he tried to start trouble but was stopped by the manager.) The second time, I wore slacks and the guard made sure it was sweatpants. When I tried to explain that they werent sweatpants, they just told me to get lost or they would ban me forever, and when they did, they gloated and shouted insults at me. I understand that life is not easy for people at the bottom, trying to find some sense of presence in others, so I didnt quarrel with them, rather than being racist here, I chose to go to another club.

Waited in line to get in on a Saturday night (not a terribly long one, but something to be prepared for), then my friend had to throw her hat away because of a dress code that isnt even listed anywhere you can see beforehand. There was also a $5 cover to get into a stinky and sticky bar with the kind of dj that plays no more than 30 seconds of a song. On the way out I saw that the same person who took our money only demands a cover charge selectively from certain customers and lets others right in, which didnt make sense to me. I will say they did have a decent amount of space to dance. Could be fun if youre in the right state of mind, but I wont return.

I gave the lady that was taking the cover charge a $20. They charge a $5 cover on Saturdays and I was paying for 2 people. She initially told me I gave her a $10 and refused to give back my change of $10. Whenever I threaten to leave she gave me back my change of $10 but just a frustrating experience that it even happened. Just be mindful though of this if you go as they may be trying to pocket people’s change if you do not question it. I’m giving it a 3 out of 5 since I did eventually get my change back after questioning it and threatening to leave.

This is a great nite club! Multiple genres of music to dance along! Fun & fabulous & friendly people. Would recommend to all give it a chance. Drinks were on point 👉

Haven’t been here post Covid. I enjoyed it now as much as I did then. The Latin room was our favorite! Our night was going fine until one of the security guys spilled our drinks and almost knocked my friend over while escorting two people out. He seemed unbothered by it which was the most unfortunate thing. He was a shorter bigger security guard ( not fit ) like the security guy on the stage my friend wouldn’t leave alone. Overall it was a good time besides that rude security guard.

I loved it when I first walked in because the club had their own separate sides when you first walked in the Latinos were on the right they had their DJ their own dance floor and Bar VIP sections everywhere and then when you went towards the back they had another bar and then you made a right at the end and went all the way to the back and that was the club club and I love the club everything was 100% Good Vibes I got a macarona from the Latino side and it was amazing I went to the back and I got elbowed in the head by a girl couldnt even say she was sorry thats why I only gave up two or three stars but it was amazing I want to go back again soon I wasnt able to really do what I wanted to do because I ran out of money I wanted to get a VIP section it was only just me I wanted more people there with me so they can enjoy that moment but I love the club

Fun club... BUT entering felt like a more zealous TSA experience. DO NOT bring a hat (unless its a cowboys hat apparently) because it will be thrown into a LITERAL PILE with everyone elses that youll be forced to fish it out of later. For the management to employ such a primitive and unsophisticated system is to say that they simply do not care about their clienteles experiences.. they know theyll come back for the loud music, bright lights and smoke shooting from the ceiling. I personally wont be subjected to such a degrading and dehumanizing experience again.

Good atmosphere and all around a very fun club. But I will say the staff and owner especially, helped me out more then I can thank them. And I would personally recommend this club a stop if you are looking for a good night and fun people. 10/10

Me and a couple friends tries to enter this club and I wasnt allowed in because my friend was Trans, they said they allowed women that wore skimpy dresses but not women that wore sweet pants. They also referred her/they as the wrong gender multiple times and disregarded her as what s1he identified as. They do not respect gender pronouns or the lgbtq+ because a multitude of us that were apart of that community and ther was a lack of respect for everyone in this group

I had the most incredible New Years Eve Experience. Beautiful decor, delicious Buffett, fantastic service, and unbelievable music and crowd. I felt like I was back in Europe. So much class and style. Will definitely be back!

They told me at the entrance that they had a dress code, in my case regarding open-toe sandals. Could not enter cause of it. Their website did not have that information, so I told them to put it on their site.

Got a table for my bday emailed tables@cavo 100 xs and still very nice never acted like I was a bother the staff was great and my table was so cute right above the dance floor and the club is very sexy Decore

I agree with Kelsey, (hey girl),:) and about being racist. Tale as old as time, I used to work at zen when Joe was around and he would yell at me for not being racist simply put. All the negative comments are in fact true. I also used to work here until the 1 time I slipped up and had a water while they would slave me away and next thing you know, I blacked out and went to the hospital. When I called Cavo they denied it and fired me. Call it what you will but these nightclubs are notorious for giving you drinks that one minute your sober, next minute, you dont remember a thing. I can tell you one thing, the owner is from Las Vegas though, so if youve ever been to a nightclub there, or anywhere really, all Im saying. :) miss you Kelsey hope all is well

The dudes inside are unattractive and the bouncer is mean to people and does not do the job of filtering out the scrub men.If youre charging a cover fee the place should not be as crowded as it is

The music is outdated, the bartenders seem like they don’t enjoy their job. There is so much security that have no idea about what the bottle prices are. Seems like there is only one person who is in charge of bottle service for the entire club. This place looks nice but that’s about it

Ive been here twice, both times were really fun. First time, I walked in and it was already packed but i happened to know someone in the VIP and within 10 minutes, people were passing me bottles, which was obviously awesome since I love fireball. The second time, we arrived at opening, somehow buying my first drink, I dropped $100 and my ID. A worker walled around looking for me and found me as I entered the bathroom, giving me back everything that was lying on the floor. If it were busy right then, someone wouldve snatched it up. But he gave it to me despite the fact that he couldve pocketed the money and threw my license in the trash. That man has some good karma coming his way. The workers were nice, helpful, and the music was good with a really fun dance scene. Only thing is there was this john malkovich con air looking bouncer that almost looked like he was having a bad day and looking to find someone to take it out on that was right next to our table. He never said a word to us but I suppose being that close just wasnt the best idea. Overall, great experience and too many positives to list. I will absolutely be back as I really havent found a better dance experience in the Burgh, well done Cavo.

I asked for a lemon drop with Don Julio. He made me a shot of Don Julio and a lemon drop with vodka separately. I came in this club sober. This bartender was so drunk and incoherent. Never again

I had such an amazing time at Cavo for my birthday lastnight. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were all so friendly and helpful and they made my birthday perfect. It was definitely the most fun club that i have been to around here!

This used to be my favorite club / bar in Pittsburgh but things have changed. Our bartender was great but one of the bouncers has serious anger issues. After hearing him threaten a customer for wearing a hat, cus out an Uber driver doing a drop off and watching him throw traffic cones, I can say I won’t be coming back.One of the bottle girls even interrupted a conversation so she could sit on a customers lap at the bar.I get that it’s a bar, but there should still be some level of professionalism.

I was there for a private event for the first time and really wasn’t impressed. Not in the slightest. Bartenders are very inattentive and too worried about flaunting their bodies vs serving guests. Which I guess is the atmosphere of a nightclub…I had another fellow bartender and waitress with me and all three of us were baffled at the lack of attentiveness. 2 bartenders with approx 8-12 people at the bar and very disorganized.

I will say that it is a beautiful club. Very classy, exotic, and interesting. I did not go to the bar, so I cant comment on that. It reminds me of watching lifestyles of the rich and famous and seeing clubs on the mediterranean. Makes you feel you are not in Pittsburgh. I was not a fan of the DJ that night, but for a younger audience, they may like it.

I was visiting Pitt and my girlfriend and I were really looking forward to finding a place that played good music so we could dance. We were a little bummed that there werent many option in Pitt from what we were being told outside of South side. We did a little Google search and cavo seemed like a hit or miss place but we went anyway.When you walk in, the salsa/Spanish dance scene is the first thing you walk through. And then you continue to an open bar area and around the corner is the hip-hop and house type music dance floor. We really liked the concept/interior of the club and the dance floor was full but not overly packed where you had people bumping into you.The music was good for the most part and catered to several crowds. The drinks tasted good but were weak in comparison to other places. However, considering it is a city, I guess a long island should cost $10 (where Im am they are around $7 and are a lot stronger). But the vodka red bull I got was also pretty weak but the price was definitely a lot more reasonable $6.Overall, would definitely return for another night for dancing and drinks.

The place is good and the servers are amazing but towards the closing time of the club, they were very rude. My friend wasnt feeling well and wanted to just sit for a few minutes but the guy said we have to leave immediately and she cant be here if she isnt feeling well. She didnt fall sick but we still had to rush out.

Beautiful club staff inside are nice security thinks it’s a military base. The music is the only issue it’s never new songs always the same songs all night and every time we go, that I have never heard of ever to begin with.

Really cool atmosphere. Staff was friendly. There isnt usually a cover charge. Two different sections within the club- one more low key for some dancing and socializing. Other side is a DJ and more of a club scene. On the weekends they usually hire girls to dance. The restroom attendant was very friendly and accommodating- she had everything you could need. There are 3 different bars as well as VIP sections with bottle service.

This place is filthy and falling apart. How the floors were already filthy when we were the first few people that went into that part of the club is beyond me. I watched a stair crumble under someone’s foot. A VIP section that we were told would fit 20 people was all of two loveseats facing each other in a 8’x6’ section.The bartenders stopped giving me change about halfway through the night. I tipped them well on my first few trips to the bar and I guess they thought to take advantage of it. Staff was coming around to collect empty glasses and would take my half-drunk drinks, right in front of me, and not hear me when I try to stop them.It was my first time here and I heard good things and had pretty high hopes, so to see finally see this place in such poor condition was really disappointing.

Ok club to hang out . They have salsa night every Friday. Its up to you how to enjoy because their music selection is not that great and you have to work hard to get that proper club vibe. I have been there many times and I am bored with it.Also, if you want a free entry then please go before 10pm. They have a nice bar and all drinks costs around 7$. Bar tenders are very friendly and awesome.

The club is nice but one of the bouncers at the gate has terrible anger issues. He loses it and starts yelling at the top of his voice at customers. Cavo should give the poor man a few days off so that he can visit a good psychiatrist, and the people can have a better time.PS: Someone from Cavo should read the other comments about this bouncer’s anger issues as well and give the psycho a break.

Awesome place !!I was just here this weekend! Ambience and the sound was really superb.The music is awesome ! Its really hard to find a great club. This place is perfect. We had fun. It was a lot of fun for just a little cover and drinks were not so expensive, all in all a good club to have good time. I highly recommend this place!!!

Do not go to Cavo Night Club. Last night I was physically assaulted there and they did nothing about it. My girlfriend and her friends were just hanging out and some creepy guy was trying to talk to them and touching their waists and he wouldnt go away even though he was making them very uncomfortable. I came and told him he needed to leave and he walked away and then came running back in shoved one of the girls out of the way and hit me in the mouth splitting my lip. They refused to call the police, I had to do that on my own. The club manager was only worried about making the whole thing go away, not about actually helping me. The bouncers all saw what happened and they wouldnt talk to the cops. It took some coersion just to let the police see the video of the incident. The whole time, the manager was just fast talking trying to convince the cop that I was the bad guy. I couldnt ID the person because it happened so fast, and the manager wouldnt ID the person even though he knew exactly who did it. Once they finally let the cops see the video, they decided that it was blurry but it looked kind of like I instigated the incident or in other words, they told me I deserved it because I told the guy to stop creeping on my friends. Cavo is an awful place that only has its own best interest in mind. Do not go to Cavo.

One of the more fun clubs to go to in the city. The club is huge and the drinks are strong. Shout to the the bouncer by the name of Sal. Incredibly friendly. Great place

The atmosphere it’s good and nice bartender BUT but the djs are the worst Ive heard in my life both on Friday in the Latin zone and in the other zone, Ive gone couple times to give it a chance but you need to hire professional djs!!!!!!

Great music and a big dance floor! There is plenty of bar space throughout to get a drink, so if its crowded where you are then look for another bar in further inside. Lights, music, and effects are also pretty great, and used in the right proportions.

Was super drunk and vomited outside, but the staff was on point. Stephen, the bouncer, would not let me back in and called a cop over when I got a little difficult. Nothing too serious and I got home safely, but it was handled in 100% the correct way. Great staff here.

The best Nightclub in Pittsburgh. Classier and more up-scale than some others in the burgh. Drinks arent overly expensive and bottle service is available. They have a nice dance floor in the back as well as regular Salsa Dancing nights in the front. Plenty of parking is available along the strip very close.

Heartbreaking because we usually love Cavo. Some creep was groping my friends and wouldn’t leave us alone so my boyfriend told him to back off. The creep left but then came back and sucker punched my boyfriend in the face and split his lip! The staff and manager did NOTHING. They didn’t try to find the guy, they didn’t kick the creep out even though they witnessed and saw who he was and could easily find him via video recordings. They didn’t call the cops when someone was physically assaulted on their property. Bad look CAVO like yeah you don’t want bad publicity for your club but have some decency and respect for human-beings. When someone is assaulted help them, don’t brush it under the rug and normalize it like “oh this happens all the time.” If this happens all the time, you don’t know how to run a good establishment.

Best place in Pittsburgh! The bottle service girls are very good at their job and everyone is super accommodating and they have women on silk strings from the ceiling crazy lights just an awesome atmostphere nothing compares!Not to mention food is delicious and staff is very friendly and accommodating!

Those that hate cant appreciate a fine filet mignon choice cut perfection for $28! Dare any other place to compare. The drinks are spot on with some of the friendliest, most lovable, and insane, in a great way, people I ever made aquaintance. And those tacos!!! Plus great outdoor seating!

5 dollar cover charge is weak. Music is a mix between hip pop, techno, Edm.. drinks are average. The place is pretty big and u can walk into another club called cake which was cool.

The waiter was super friendly and attentive, and he sold the specials really well. The grilled filet was perfect--a thick piece of tender beef, garnished with asparagus, mushrooms, and roasted potato wedges. The seafood market had a couple options, and we went with the salmon salad. Greens and vegetables were super fresh, the house vinaigrette was flavorful, and the salmon filet was a good portion of grilled tasty fish.

This awful place isn’t even worth more words than this.

There really is no other club to go to after youve been to Cavo. Incase you didnt know Cavo is the best club in all of Pittsburgh for birthdays bachelorette / bachelor parties or just a fun bottle service kind of weekend with your friends or family. Ive hosted my family there without any problem for my birthday, my grandfather was a little surprised / wowed at the performers outfits 😳😂😂 Oh yeah did I mention they have performers!? Ariel acrobatics and silhouette dancers 💃 always a wild place to have fun but still chill / classy enough to leave without having to get into a scuffle 10/10

This place is not the same anymore. They add water to drinks!!! We ordered 5 shots of Patron and it was diluted with water, I got a Long Iceland and it didn’t taste the same!! It was just so gross! So disappointing!!

They always play the ame damn music(high tempo) and dj changes music every 15 seconds. Bartender sometimes forget your order and completely ignores you. Except for the husky bartender and the blode older lady bartender. The three stars is for the classyness cuz if u not careful, u can find a wife here lol

This place is disgusting, starting with the rude security guys that thinks they rule the world and I’ve seen them very aggressive with costumers, drinks are watered, floors are seriously wet and dangerous. DO NOT COME TO THIS DISGUSTING HOLE

There isnt a better club in the city! The owners, staff and everyone involved behind the scenes are all great. I stick by my word when I say nobody does it better than cavo! Best Saturday night experience out there hands down 🙌

Cavo is a gorgeous club and bar. Love all the space and the theme of decorations. Also the portrait of Nikola Tesla just sitting in the hallway adds a nice amusing touch. I also love that people go nicely dressed to Cavo which is something I do not often see people do at places in pittsburgh.Paid $5 dollar coverCoat check is $1I thought saturdays they were supposed to play some latin music and I was a little disappointed that there were maybe two songs and then the rest was more big sean and niki minaj and similar which are not always danceable.The dj really liked to remix songs. Often times remixing multiple songs at the same time. He did very well, though he could have kept songs playing for a little longer than he did. Transitions were also usually great.

I’m 24 and my ID was not scanning.. so I was not allowed in, they need to get this situated. If you wanna get in bring your passport or birth certificate

It was an ok night club. Not a big dance floor! Had a good night in general but it could be better. Through some rock songs in the mix. Kept tempo pretty high...

DJ changes songs every 15 seconds, and it jumps genres quite drastically too.. Fair warning, they only accept passports from non-US residents as valid ID (and they require for you to keep it on your person when youre inside)

Great atmosphere, diverse crowd, three different rooms with different vibes, and reasonable drink prices! We go there often and it doesn’t seem to get old.

Gross. Drinks are watered down and everyone is rude starting with the people at the door. Definitely won’t be back and will not be recommending to friends

Nice Ambience but super crowde and Mostly older people like 35-45year olds make up most of the crowd and creepy guys holding the wall up. Not really place for younger crowd tbh. But it’s a cool set up.

Terrible experience involving protection and safety of patrons, which was ignored and rebuffed by staff. Terribly irresponsible on their part. Would never recommend patronizing this establishment for your own safetys sake or that of anyone you care about.👎

Best night club in the 412 for dancing, alway hopping. Plus salsa on Fridays! Perhaps one of the most well mixed Manhattens Ive ever had.

Best times to visit are on Fridays, Saturdays are way too crowded. Overall great club, and no fights due to the great security that they have.

I had an okay experience at this club but I just found out that the owners are protesting against the covid-19 stay home orders and endangering others. I will not be supporting this business in the future.
