The nail artists here are so wonderful and meticulous. They really put in the time to making your nails the absolute best they can be. I’m always so incredibly impressed. The ambiance is also really good. Their prices are super reasonable and the staff is so personable!!

Most satisfying nail experience I’ve had in the city! Angela was so helpful, patient, and efficient to understand and help me achieve the ideal nail design I wanted. The results were so beautiful and much exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be coming back again!

This is only my second time getting my nails done, but honestly it wasn’t a pleasant experience. The lady spent an hour alone filing and shaping nails and adding multiple layers of clear gel. Then I was left unattended for about 15 minutes before she returned and filed and added more clear gel. Then another hour to finish so a total of two hours. The filing was so aggressive that I’m still sore a day later and can see visible irritation around my nails. Furthermore, I noticed between layers that there was hair and debris that just got painted over. While the design isn’t bad, it wasn’t near what I asked for and the price (which was significantly higher than what I thought from looking online) and sensitivity caused to my nails and skin just wasn’t worth it. In the video you can see parts of my nails that are visibly red and others that aren’t but still are sore.

I got my nails done at this location about a week ago, and spent a lot of money here, only for my nail to break shortly after receiving the service. Highly disappointed. If you spend $50 plus on gel manicures, you expect for it to last longer than 8 days.

Overall I had a great experience here. I got a great gel pedicure and not-so-great dip + tips manicure (way too thick, not good shaping). Angela, who I think is the owner, noticed it and called it out herself and offered to fix it the next day. She pretty much redid my manicure this morning free of charge and it looks perfect. Great customer service, and good prices for NYC!

Literally the best place I’ve gotten my nails done in New york! Angela is amazing and is a perfectionist to make sure it’s exactly what you want! Also extremely affordable price especially for the quality. My friend for gel x extensions with a design and I got powder dip with chrome for less than anywhere else I’ve been in the city.

I had a nice experience at this salon. I never tried SNS powder before but I like how Suky did my nails and she really worked hard to make sure it was perfect, editing it and touching it up up until the last moment. I was a walk in and I was seen quickly, done in a nice time, and out the door. I would definitely come back. Nice prices, nice people, nice salon.

Love my new nails! This is my first time trying out powder and such a bright color. The staff at Morning ritual nails and spa took care of me and loved the results of my new set! Can’t wait to come back and try out another fun color from their wide range of colors!

Fenny was fantastic! I got a basic gel manicure and emphasized wanting the gel to be on the thinner side. She did a great job of shaping and making sure the coat wasn’t super thick. Fenny was also quick but gentle, very good energy! I’ll be coming back again.

Obsessed! Thought I would try out a new color this time around and was thoroughly impressed with the service and the array of color options. I settled on this beautiful blue and coffin shape nails. I love coming here for my nails and will certainly be back!

The worst nail service I ever reviewed do not go here! As a first time costumer I asked for acrylic nails. The nail tech told me that they don’t have acrylic nails only fill in. I’m confused because what shop does not have extensions?? I sat in the chair. The last ignored me when I told her to take my nails off and proceeded to give me a fill in with sculpting gel. My previous nail extensions very old so I am confused on why she is doing a fill in. Later I look over to my right and the girl next to me is getting a fresh set of extensions. So I asked the technician “so you did have extensions?” But at this point the nail tech is almost done with my nails. I don’t think the nail tech spoke enough English because she was very quiet and ignoring me.When I tell you my nails look disgusing. It’s only been a couple of days and my nails are turning ORANGE. I got my nails done for my trip and I haven’t even made it to the airport without my nails being ruined. The lady applied the sculpting gel clumpy and the nail polish has finger prints on it. She also did not paint all the way don’t to my nail bed so it looks like my nails are over grown. I demand a refund or to have my nails redone by a different technician for free. This is disgusting. A $85 fill in on old nails.ALSO I was the only costumer there that was not offered water, a hand massage, and they lady didn’t let me wash my hands before the service she just kept saying “later.” She did not cut my cuticles or prep my nails or anything. I am disgusted. Plus when it was time to pay they charged me a different price that was originally stated. I hate them horrible nail salon. I might as well had gotten my nails done in the ghetto. Terrible. For $85 ??

This place is by far the BEST nail salon in Manhattan. Considering quality of service, price, cleanliness, and how nice and professional everyone is, I’ve always left happy and can’t go anywhere else! Their chrome nails look perfect, and I’ve gotten their gel extensions + acrylics in the past too — all great and consistent. Angela is the absolute sweetest, and so are Winnie, Suky, Tracy… they all make a great team. Highly recommend their massages too.

I love this place. this is my regular nail spot! i’ve been coming here close to a year, and have never had any issues. Angela and her team are always so accommodating and sweet to their customers.i only get my nails done once a month because they last so long, and i always get so many compliments on them :)

As a first timer, so pleased with their work. The lady sitting next to me lives nearby and raved about this is her go to spot in the past three years in the neighborhood after trying a few. The staff know her so well they know her colors and style she likes!Tina did a great base coat. The dark shimmery blue gel color I chose looked purple on my nail which wasn’t my inspo so after two coats they were quick to find me a dark blue top layer. Then it was Angela’s turn to paint the white flower petals on. She was so careful and repeated some of the flowers to get the perfect shape, I really appreciate how much care she put in. The nail art design was $35 extra and so worth it!We tried 4-5 shades of white and yellow dots for the center but Angela found a gold color which fit the vibe way more. A pale yellow and white was too light of color in contrast to the dramatic dark blue background. they really put in the work and time, and gave me massages before and after. I was expecting to be there for an hour or so but this probably took closer to two hours when i left. A bit longer than I expected but I also took some time deciding the color I wanted in the beginning. All in all I’m really happy with this place and have already gotten tons of compliments. Total including tip was $117. Thank you Angela and Tina!

I recently visited Morning Ritual nails for a pedicure and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, listening to all my requests. I had a spa pedicure and it just felt so nice. The message that was included was super relaxing and my feet look and feels fantastic. Love this place definitely coming back!

I made an appointment online because I was coming on a Saturday. And it was busy. But I was serviced within a few minutes. They did a great job. Not to expensive. Sunny did my pedicure and Manicure and he was nice to me

I’ve been coming here for over a year and will never go anywhere else. Angela is the BEST, she does my dip manicure nails perfectly every time and also gets the shape just right. She’s also a very kind person. Their pedicures are also great and my gel will last for at least 6 weeks (and still look decent after all that grow out). The rest of the staff are also friendly and accommodating. I’ve had a massage while waiting for my dip to come off from Tom and it was just what I needed that day. I recommend making an appointment because they get busy depending on the day! For good reason :)

I had a great experience here! I needed to find a salon that was open late, and Sherry did an amazing job on my nails. I also had a very damaged nail and she was gentle in handling it and still made it look great next to my other nails.

Dip manicure started chipping less than 16 hours after my appointment-- this has happened several times. Definitely a disappointment given that the stylist takes her time and appears to be doing a thorough jobEDIT: Unfortunately this is a third occurrence of such service so I wont be returning, even with free offers.

They’re truly amazing. So talented, patient, kind, and a very clean facility. I love them truly. So glad I found them! They’re my definite go to place ! And they do everything! Very nice salon. The space was clean and calming. I believe my nail techs name was Tracy, she did this wonderful design for me.

Really disappointed in my manicure. The color is lumpy and unevenly distributed. They rushed when cutting my cuticles, which caused my pinky to bleed. And they charged me $10 just to take off my gel, which imo is obscene. I won’t be coming back.

The nail techs work diligently to make sure my nail shape is perfect, and most importantly, they always look sleek and natural. I’m never disappointed. This nail salon is by far the best in NYC, I’m around for the long haul!

Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Lazy and careless service.

I had my nails done here and after 3 days they already started to chip. These are gel and should last longer than that. I called and spoke to the “manager” who said to come in. When I came in the lady said that she’s only going to fix 1 nail. Clearly they all needed to be redone. I would not recommend this place.

This is the best nail salon I have been to in NYC. They have reasonable prices and have a loyalty card. All of the ladies who work there are super nice! My dip manicure can last a whole month!! The only thing is they are so busy you probably will have to wait. Highly recommend!!

They do a good job with your nails, but expect to wait for hours, even if you made an appointment. Been coming here for a long time and unless you’re coming in the middle of a weekday it’s always the same story. Today around noon I called for an appointment at 6 for dip powder and a gel pedicure. They said no problem and took my number. I showed up right at 6, wasn’t late, and they literally asked me if I could come back later because they were too busy. I said sure, then I came back at 7. I waited about 20 minutes before anyone started working on my pedicure. Now that’s been finished for—I am not exaggerating—30+ minutes and I am still waiting for someone to do my manicure (at 8:45 pm!) it’s a bit much. (Full disclosure: I am moving out of the neighborhood otherwise I wouldn’t write this review because the quality of their work is good and I’d probably keep coming here despite the bad service if I weren’t moving away). So long story short, they’ll do a good job with your nails but they will not respect your time and will not be honest with you about wait times.

It pains me to write this review because I had great experiences at Morning Ritual when I first started going. This place became my go-to spot after work for dip powder manis because of the quality of work, enthusiasm and kindness of staff, and selection of products. But my last couple visits were unfortunately very disappointing. I went in last week for a dip powder mani before heading to a friend’s wedding and was served by Tommy. While the end product looked good, I noticed during the appt that he didn’t prep my nails very much before applying the powder. I should have said something but trusted his expertise and left it alone. Two days later, a couple nails already started peeling/lifting off the cuticle. I was already out of town at this point and unable to go back to get it fixed so I went back to the salon this week after I returned from my trip to get those two nails fixed. I walked in after work and ended up waiting two hours to be seen by a nail tech. It was during rush hour so I understand the salon being busy, but it was clear that they continued to accept walk-in appts when they clearly weren’t able to seat people in a reasonable amount of time. As someone coming back for a free repair, I was on the bottom of the list obviously, but two hours is a long time to wait to fix two nails. When I was finally seated, the tech who served me was extremely rushed and looked very stressed. She was literally running around the salon from my table to another, and I felt so bad that she was struggling because it didn’t have to be that busy if the receptionist has just turned people away when they got busy. Because she was so rushed, the quality of the experience I had seriously suffered. She hurt me twice with the drill while buffing my nails and when her latex glove got stuck to the glue on my nail, she made a very haphazard effort to get the latex off. There’s still a visible piece of blue latex on my thumbnail. After she fixed my two broken nails, she told me I was done and immediately walked away, while I still had powder dust and nail dust all over my hands. My fingers ended up stained from the dip powder. When I gathered my bags to leave, the receptionist let me know that I need to come back within two days next time for the repair to be free and that they would make an exception for me just this time. Earlier today, a little over a week since I first got this set, yet another nail popped completely off. For the money I paid and time I spent at the salon just for this one set, it should be a good 2-3 weeks before my nails start to lift. I feel like I wasted my money and time on this appt and I don’t plan to return after this experience.

I last came her last year. It was a good experience then (my first mani-pedi). I was in the neighborhood, and decided yesterday to get another one. I was a walk-in, no appointment.I had Sherry. She was very good. The pedicure was relaxing and she knew what she was doing. The manicure was also very relaxing and she was very attentive. As my nails were drying, she offered a chair massage, which was excellent. I still felt tingles from it well after leaving! The prices are reasonable, the service is professional, the facilities are nice and clean, and even though I splurged a little bit, a nice self-care day every now and then is a wonderful thing.Highly recommended!

They are amazing. I have terrible nails from stress and playing sports and yet Lucy, my nail technician at Morning Salon, made my nails look incredible. She was so kind, patient and thoughtful and never complained how much work it took to remove the previous gel manicure that for some reason did not come off easily (after several rounds of soaking).I’m so glad you’re open again!Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

Probably the worst pedicure I have ever had in the entire world. They barely do anything unless you pay for all these extra services that they dont even properly communicate. They do the bare minimum when everywhere else in the city does so much better than I have gone to. She wouldn’t even cut my toe nails more after asking multiple times nor did she colour within the lines 🤯 Not worth the time or money and especially not worth the frustration.

The manicure was great, going out on the street after it gave me a lot of confidence and the service was great, the staff was very kind and it felt like home!

Nail art was not good. It was actually the exact opposite of what I wanted, and I had to come here before vacation. The staff is super duper friendly tho! Also made an appointment for 7, didn’t get seated until 7:40.

I had the WORST experience.The lady who did my nail, Lucy, literally stripped my cuticles 3 times, causing one of my fingers to bleed a little.What’s worse, she did not even APOLOGIZE.She also offered a massage (upsell) and when I turned her down, she mocked me to her colleague and said “she probably has no money” in Chinese, thinking I would not understand.She was also super hasty even though there was no one waiting.What I expected to be a relaxing experience turned out to be an extremely stressful one.Will NOT return.

I had Eileen for my gel pedicure and she did half of my powder manicure before she had to leave. She did an incredible job. Very meticulous and took her time even when knowing she had to leave at a certain time. Another employee took over and I was a bit worried my manicure wouldn’t look uniform. But she did an equally detailed and beautiful job. I’m super excited to go on my beach vacation with gorgeous nails.The price can rack up but they give seasonal discounts and a punch card. I’ll be going back!

First time Ive been 100% satisfied with how many nails came out. Eileen did my gel manicure and she was very good and meticulous. My nails came out neat and even just how I like them. I observed that the place itself and the nail tools were clean and the manicure came with collagen gloves (great touch). Also best post manicure back and shoulder massage.

Loved my experience here! One unique thing: they have a card for returning customers that also includes the gel number you used which is very helpful. Additionally I got an amazing massage when I had my pedi. Very friendly staff and clean environment. I will definitely come back!

I went a few weeks ago and while I had the BEST massage on my legs Ive ever had (100% serious best massage feet + legs ever), I was put off by big things:1- I was rushed to pick my nail color and could tell the tech was impatient2- I paid all this extra money for manicure (all services were just under $200 - $187 with tip) and my manicure was subpar. She had to redo a 8 of my nails because the dip color bubbled with the seemingly super cheap looking top coat. I left with my nails still looking subpar, the top coat looking dull and cheap and not the shape even though I kept saying pointy almond pointy almond.

Have had mixed experiences with this nail place. This last time I went the lady, I believe her name was Joann was so rough with my fingers that I was bleeding on three different nails. Now one of my nails is infected because their tools are not clean, I am in pain and now have to schedule an appointment with a doctor. I’ve never had this happen before. Never going back here.

I came in with high expectations but disappointed. My nail lady didn’t remove my previous gel manicure properly, so you can still see the residue from my past nails through the new polish. It looks clunky and they mixed up my order too and had to do last minute change. Overall looks tacky and not going again. Do not recommend. Overpriced for the service.

The place looks nice and clean but not welcoming well at least not from the lady who did my nails . I am going to stick with my regular nail tech even if it means traveling an hour and get my $80 money’s worth. The lady who did my pedicure did not communicate with me well and she seemed annoyed the whole time. The pedicure came out good but there was a few scratches from the rocks and missing color on the sides.not my cup of tea

This salon is very nice and clean and in COVID-times they do a good job of cleanliness and protection. Also they have a wide variety of colors. The gel manicure I got was very reasonably priced and they did an amazing job. I’ll definitely come back and would recommend!

Went to this salon because it was very close to where I lived. Had a good review, but I the quality abs service was not on point. There is a definitely lack of staff and the lack of concentration on the work they are doing might impact the result you will have on your nails... The pedicure was good, but the quality of the nail Polish not as it broke of the next day.😪 do not recommend doing the pedicure there for sure unless you are doing gel which should stay for long.Concerning manicure - I always judge the salon by how they can do French tips and hère it was ok. I did powder abs it stayed for 3 weeks , one nail broke and I came to redo it (I was surprised they took money from me for that one nail because i assumed it will be free since it is their work that broke, but be ready to pay 10 dollars- this is a bad way if marketing and creating a relationship with the client). But the manicure is good.

Eileen did such a fantastic job. This is 4 weeks after they were done and besides being grown out they are perfect.

So let me start by saying that the owner of this place is so unprofessional and money hungry so please save yourself a trip to this nail salon. I went to get dip powder nails and 3 days after I got them done they started to fall off. They did a horrible job and charged me $143.00 for a gel pedicure and dip powder nails. When it’s time to pay the owner obligates you to pay cash, obviously this is more beneficial to her. So when I paid I gave the owner eight dollars as a tip so she can give the nail technician that did my nails and then she tells me that the $8 was not enough, that I had to give 15% of what my total was, so she told me I had to give $21.00 as tip. Please do not go here, they will scam you.

This evening I walked in and the woman behind the counter completely ignored me even though she saw me walk in. No greeting. Nothing. Another customer walked in right behind me about 10 seconds later and the woman just looked right past me and greeted her with a big smile and asked her what she wanted. I turned right around and went to another nail salon not too far called Fashion Nails. Their salon wasn’t as fancy as Morning Ritual’s, but they were extremely kind and even gave me a $27 discount for my next visit. Now that was $80 well spent.

Although a nail salon will really depend on the individual staff itself... like how good they are at cleaning my nails etc... but I gotta say everyone here is friendly and welcoming! and most of them clean my nails well :) Rebecca is my go-to nail tech though! She is the best. It just sucks sometimes that I couldn’t get my 10minute massage when they are too busy. lol....

I made an appointment for 5:15 this past week. Myself and my co worker had an option of 10 colors for dip powder which wasn’t the biggest thing. However as soon as we sat down to do a removal process they continually burned us with e file . It was repetitive that we both had mentioned it to the nail techs, all they would do is smile and say sorry. At this point the owner kept leaving to attend other customers walked in, I was placed with a different nail tech. The job itself was sloppy and not a proper technique when applying the dip powder. My co worker had her nail tech fixing the application of the dip powder with her own hands , she did not wear gloves at all. Then at the end of this horrendous job they still had the nerve to question the tip that we had left. Save your time and money from going to this place.

Its was kinda ok but my nails are a bit uneven and i had to pay almost 80 and give a tip the place is nice but the way they treat me im sorry but respectfully im not coming back here i can go to other places that can do better

One of my nails has gel that peeled off and they were so nice and re-did the entire thing! One of the salons that really cares about you leaving happy.

7 out of 10 of my nails have cuts around the edges because of how rough she was doing my nails. I told her so many times that she cut me and she was being too rough and she said sorry and continued to be that way. I actually had to tell her “believe it or not it shouldn’t be painful to get your nails done” my nail beds are now so red and inflamed I’m really worried about an infection. I saw a similar comment from another person from just a few months ago. I will not be back and don’t recommend to others.

This was my second time there. I made an appointment and they sat me right away but then made me sit in the chair for 40 minutes before even taking my old polish off. The women then proceeds to grab the wrong color and grabs a neon green when I picked a light pink. Then gets a hair in my gel manicure. When i complained and said this is ridiculous when trying to charge me the full price and offered no customer service to the terrible service I received the women yelled at me as I was leaving the salon.

This was my second (and last) visit to Ritual. The first time was amazing, there was low, peaceful music, everyone was kind and engaged in the work they were doing and I received wonderful services that were efficient and thorough. This was a completely different experience from that. The receptionist/front desk woman was totally checked-out. She was on her phone the entire time I was there I had to say excuse me a few times to tell her Id picked a color, then again to ask where to sit, (she didnt look up from her phone, just pointed towards the pedicure chairs). There was obnoxious club music and pop music playing on the radio that was not remotely relaxing with loud commercials. The woman who did my pedi was sweet but totally disengaged. Id originally scheduled a mani, pedi, and 20 minute massage but after my pedicure (and removing my tissue from toes with zero help) I canceled the other services and left.

The service there was amazing! The lady that was doing my nails was very gentle and kind.

Their place is very clean and not too busy so you dont’t have to wait a long time. They give great massages and they have a good collection of nail polishes

I appreciate the lady whos name I forgot, for working on the callous under my feet. The foot massage was great. I did a spa pedicure with green tea which smelt so good.

I like this salon a lot for pedicures. For SNS powder gel, they charge $10 more than another salon around the corner, so they end up being my second choice because of the premium pricing.
