This Salon located in sunny isles FL 33160.I usually get my hair done - Stylist name is Doris. She actually knows what products are good for the hair. And color styles and their combinations are at her best and super !! Salon is a bit expensive, but sometimes we do get a break. They have good hair extensions, and she is great in assessing and putting them.I will always recommend her and she is the very best.My 2 cents - not sure what happens when I actually retire end of this year if I will be able to continue, but I will certainly try.hopefully I am lucky enough to keep continuing...For Manicure and Pedicure :I had Lilly do them for me and she is very best in doing both.She is very good even in taking out my in grown nails, even though they heart first, my toes are very clean, and she does take time in putting the polish perfectly... I will always appreciate

My mom has been using Doris for a few years now. Yesterday I went to Doris for a hair make over. My hair is very thick and curly down to my butt. My hair color was a disaster carrying loads of shades. Doris took every minute of her day to make my hair the exact color I wanted. I also got a little trim making the ends more healthy. The salon is clean and very welcoming. I spent 10 hours at Gloria’s with Doris and it felt like 2 hours solely because of the company and atmosphere. Thank you again for an amazing experience. Very attentive, professional and pleasant. I’m not an easy client with a very sensitive skin, but she is doing her best to accommodate my specific needs. I’m very happy with my choice.

She made a complain about it and he block her and blocked me from any social media to avoid fixing anything!!! Over bleach her hair and now her hair is gummy and falling!!! I usually take my own dye, which is of very good quality and expensive brand, when I go to a salon to dye my hair. I know the results it has on my hair and I had a very beautiful color in my hair until I went to this salon, but for some reason when I requested the services of a professional at this salon who speaks my language, I didnt get the same results I know the dye I got provides. It has completely lost its beautiful tone and shine.Very disappointed and more..... as the professional mixed the 2 shades of dye that I provided in the back of the salon, Im quite sure the good quality product I took was not used in my hair. So, as I lost confidence, I decided not to use her services anymore. I hate being underestimated.

I frequent Miami, and I wanted to find a local spa/ salon where I can come get services done. I found this place and was pleased with their online bookings. When I got there, I was greeted well with the administrator. However everything went sideways after that. When you book online, you’re given a specific time and duration depending on your service you chose. I thought this place was going to be a well run establishment, but once I checked in, I was forgotten about. I waited 20 minutes and asked the administrator if everything was ok, I was assured my stylist would be with me. Another 20 minutes went by and it seemed that my stylist went for lunch. Something went wrong with the communication and no one seemed to care. I ended walking out frustrated and I’ll never recommend this place to anyone.

If I could leave less than one star I would. I am here now. Made an appt earlier this morning for 1:45pm manicure. Came in at 1:35 and waited 20 minutes after my spot time to see what the hold up was. Front desk told me it would only be a few minutes longer. Now it’s 35 minutes past my appt time so I go directly to the manicurist to ask what the hold up is. She said front desk scheduled incorrectly because she has someone for the same time and her chair was full. So I go back to front desk to tell her what I was just told. The front desk associate goes to the manicurist and comes back to tell me it isn’t her fault and the manicurist never said that! I’m dumbfounded at this point! Then front desk starts yelling at me telling me she doesn’t like how I’m talking to her. Keep in mind I never realized my voice, never made a scene, just asked why it’s taking so long. Then front desk associate calls manager and comes to me to tell me that manager will come out to speak to me and make things right. Manicurist just came to me 40 minutes later to take me. I declined. Now at this very moment she’s talking to the scheduler at the front desk who scheduled inaccurately according to the manicurist. I’m going back to AZN Nails in Sunny Isles. $45 mani/pedi and they take you on time and don’t yell at you. Never coming back here again. This is my true and host experience and review of this establishment. All that glitters is not gold. By the way, the manager never came out to talk with me despite the fact that I was told she would.

Carol cut and styled my hair. She made me the most terrific haircut I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everybody comments. I feel beautiful now. And everybody tells me how pretty I am it’s crazy!Yay Also Maria did my color. It’s exactly what I wanted. When I first came to Maria, somebody had given me a dreadful coloring job. Maria was able to fix it and make my color exactly what I wanted. What a team!

Before arriving I made sure to check their website out to see if they did a full set of acrylics. Their website (for whatever reason) lists that they do, they should change that. Before walking into the salon, there is a sign that lists their services which also includes acrylics, they should change that as well. The atmosphere of the salon is actually very nice, updated as well as clean. When I approached the lady at the front I told her from the start that I needed acrylics done, she kept questioning if i meant manicure but I insured her I meant acrylics. When i felt we had finally understood each other, she tells me there is actually someone available for me right away, amazing! She asks me to sit for a few minutes on their couch waiting for the lady. I ended up waiting an hour very confused, i do want to clarify that i should have approached her earlier and asked for assistance, that was my responsibility. But as someone who works in 5 star service and hospitality, there is no reason for a customer to have to take on the job of the worker, there was no reason for me to wait that long and not once did she wonder why i was waiting for so long. When i finally approached, the lady simply told me she was not aware she had an appointment with me, that is again not my responsibility and very unorganized. At this moment I found out that they do NOT do acrylics, after waiting an hour just to get service. I understand that miscommunication and misunderstandings happen often and I can tell the quality of their products is very nice, their team appear very qualified and professional, but they should work on fixing the information that they provide to their customers.

Carol did an excellent work for me. She took her time and was meticulous in taking care of my face. Initially having been trained in France, she has over thirty years of experience. She gave me a simple tip on how to handle my facial skin when it goes through a certain experience and she explained the reasoning behind it. At this point, I, being of an African origin with a dark skin, I understood she knew my skin type and how to handle it. This salon should not offer dip powder, they don’t know how to do it. The woman who did it was very nice but not trained at all, had no idea how to use the tools. The powder came out uneven and went over the edges and she didn’t know how to fix them. She used a professional filing machine and cut my finger pretty badly. $65 for this service is a joke. Receptionist was unpleasant. Not coming back here. Please remove this option from your service list as you should not be licensed in it which you most likely are not.

I made an appointment a week early. When I arrived at the salon they told me they couldnt take .e because the stylist was busy doing highlights. Never once did they call to move the appointment. Furthermore the front desk person shrugged it off and said oh well when I told her she lost a client. They did absolutely nothing to try and accommodate me and fix their mistake.
