Elbo Room Jack London

This review is only for the upstairs live music venue. Its a great place to play, and the sound person is really lovely and works hard to get everything right. My band had a great experience playing here, and the audience was incredible. Super fun venue!!!!

The Elbo Room has been great to us! We as a band have played a few shows so far and its always a fun turnout! Jimmy and Dean have created a vibrant space with amazing music and tasty cocktails! Most of all, the staff is extremely friendly! Thank You for having us and for sharing your space with us!! We cant wait to be back!

All of their events are listed as starting at 7. They do not actually start at 7. Also, for some reason there is an electrical outlet directly under the paper towel dispenser that you might find with your wet hand. Good luck!

Checked out a show here -> DubMission, place is awesome with great vibe and atmosphere. Mixed crowd with Z’s, mill, and gen x. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. There are 2 floors with the music venue being upstairs. Solid sound system with great base.Took a star off as it is very difficult to get a drink here on a crowded night. Only one bartender.

Great venue to see bands.Sound is excellent, staff is very cool and overall an awesome atmosphere.

Popped in for a drink before a movie at the near by theatre (which ended up being a private showing since we were the only ones there) and met a super friendly bartender called Eric. Door guy also on his game . My date and i appreciated the welcome after a near by Irish bar was not so friendly at all! Hopefully will be back and try to bring more business to the Elbow Room and Eric👍.

I had my 1st visit this past Saturday. I two of the champagne cocktails because it was so delicious and a shot of Tequila. Atmosphere was nice and chill, great music and an old burlesque film was being played as well. Im definitely going back 💜

This iteration of the Elbo Room has the same cozy friendliness and sense of excitement that we all missed when the Mission location closed down. Always happy to find myself here for a metal show and silly drinks afterwards

Elbo Room Jack London is almost identical to their Valencia location. Inside is a little dim, but not that you wont see whats going on. Plenty of seating styles from cushion booth to bar counter. Depending where youre seated at the counter, you may get a chance to see television reruns from 50s-60s showing. Indoor phote booth and ATM machine. Strong cocktails with $4 well drinks and a buck off all listed cocktail during HH. Happy hours is daily 4-9pm touts the longest in any Oakland bar. Only bar snacks is pretzels and its cash only. Bartender mostly down to business demeanor, but will talk it up on any subject.

Wonderful but very small venue - note that the music is upstairs to the left before you enter the downstairs bar!

Great remodel! Much better than the old Elbo Room.

Clasic and cozy venue for drinks AND entertainment. On my first visit, I missed the upstairs portion of this venue. Enjoy!
