Zanzi is the best in the Bay Area go and have a great time! Beautiful people inside and out, and that’s the crowd and staff. Do yourself a favor and stop in on Mondays ( yes, Mondays) for Amapiano (music). It’s a whole vibe! You won’t be disappointed 😌

Its a great space with a fun dance class Wednesday minus. However, I will no longer be attending due to the abundance of second-hand smoke inside the building. Such a shame they allow smoking right outside the front doors especially when doors are open. Very sad.

Its a vibe, not huge but enough room to move around. The upstairs is nice and cozy.

Saw a famous DJ from Sierra Leone which couldnt have been cooler. Awesome show and epic lounge. Nice bartenders working with efficiency and alertness (tough in a loud bar situation).

First time out here, pretty decent crowd & good ambience, DJ was on point with lots of ampiano sounds. Multiple screens for game nights and averagely-priced drinks

We went to Zanzi for Ghanian Independence Day. The music and vibe were excellent. It was a cool spot, with absolutely zero issues or fights. The crowd was jovial and enthusiastic with incredible fashion and dancing. The live performances were engaging as well. The drinks were good and security excellent. The only issue I had was with the food vender that night, and this has no reflection on Zanzi. But the food left a lot to be desired, the cook needs feedback so she can improve. I reccomend Zanzi promoters make sure they get a sample from venders to make sure the food is at least edible. I had to toss the food I brought in the trash. Previous events we attended had great food so maybe she had an off night. Overall, I highly recommend Zanzi as a very nice spot, especially any West African events. I look forward to our next night at Zanzi!

One of the best places in town where the community can get together and listen to great music.

Zanzis is always packed on a Wednesday. You can learn how to dance Kizomba and Kompa every Wednesday. Cover is only 10$. Very friendly people... staff and party goers.

It was my first time ever there and I had the most amazing experience DJ lady Ryan DJ Christy James and all the folks and put it together were amazing Ill be back most definitely

Me and my best friend from high school we went to zanzys for poetry night and it was funny it was cool it was laid back we had a nice stand table clean place.

Aint a bad place but the security guys do.lie at times ...Was there n they said there is nigeria artist performing paid 50 bucks only to find out it was Ethiopian artist ...

Best night club in Oakland period. Come on Mondays and Wednesdays for the best experience.
