I just love that place. I can be who I am and listen to my country music. You can dance on afrobeat, Latino,American etc.. from everywhere in the world 🌎 ❤️❤️♥️I recommend this

It was a good time. I went there on a Friday for Afrobeats night. Flygerian Jeff had us getting it with the tunes. However, it was a shared DJ booth, which meant there was more trap and house music.. all in all, twas still a good vibe.

Clean...modern...upbeat and enjoyable. Hosts were on point and everything went smooth and ON TIME!! Whatta ya know??!! Loved that-professionalism! D.J. played great beats that kept atmosphere exactly where it needed to be. I had gone for the fashion show (Im a photographer); not much room to photograph, but, after it was over...took beautiful shots outside!! Perfecto!!

The space is a bit small but I like how they have utilized the space, the security though need to exercise a little friendliness

Went to the Sweet Spot Hosted by Bay Areas DJ Ryan and I had the best time. The music was great and there was a very chill vibe. Saw some familiar faces. It was a good time.

Played good music and the crowd was cool, melting pot of people, good vibes. Small venue for a night club and a $20 cover, but had a great time. Staff were friendly and drinks were good.

Dominican night are the best. Dembow, reggaeton, merengue, Hiphop, dancehall, etc. The promoter Jonas is extremely hospitable and the staff is super welcoming. If you’re 🇩🇴 in the bay this is the spot. 💪🏾🔥

One of the worst places Ive ever been in my existence. I did not enjoy my time there. The security is extremely rude. Even if you have passes or tickets they dont want to let you in. It seems like a scam honestly. I purchased entry to Parliament with COVID certificate and ID and stood outside in the cold for an hour before I gave up trying to get in.The security is the WORST. They should all be fired. Yes ALL of the security is steaming hot garbage to the highest degree. They wreak of stink. Their music was nice, but enjoy listening to it from outside the venue in whatever elements the weather throws at you that day because security may or may not let you in. They want you to stand outside with them because theyre lonely losers.

Great experience. Fun crowd, great djs. Went on after first Friday night. Good bartenders and outside area out front to cool off.

They made me wait outside because I had a hoodie on. However I seen a white man go in with a zip up hoodie. They werent even busy at all but were persistent about sticking to their dress code. Then when people started making comments outside about their policy then they offered to let me in. I refused and left. Never again

Nice DAYTIME set up, staff was VERY friendly, however the MANDATORY 2 hr stay and a minimum 2 drink per person rule seems senseless when the venue was 25% FULL??? Why leave after 2 his when there is NO ONE IN LINE, waiting on a table..and you have hella, AVAIABLE seating.🙄. We seen some groups leave before ordering. Wonder why??

Security were so rude, yelling pushing people out bu 1.45am even though they charged us full price to enter at 1.15 am. It took bar tenders a long time to pay attention even though the bar side was almost empty and they were just chatting among each other. The music was so so. Did not have. a good time.

A lot of great memories and moments here that will never be forgotten a diverse crowd dont ever feel bewildered to enter because you think you may not fit in youre wrong if you come to party and have fun to good music.

I found it unfair that my group and I had to pay an inflated cover for an event we RSVPed for because we arrived late. There was no disclaimer. Nevertheless I like the venue so I hope there would be more clarity of the terms on social media sites for future events.

We went to Parliament last night for dinner and drinks. After we ordered the server indicated we must put a credit card on file BEFORE we would be served our food. In my opinion this is poor customer service, as its presumptuous that we (2 Black Men) would not pay our bill after we have eaten. I would have thought the owner/manager would have tried to intervene for customer retention (especially during theses Covid19 times), but the establishment stuck to their policy and watch us leave. This ended up being a good thing. We went over a block to The Liege where the service was better, and the food was fantastic!

Outdoor only now it seems. Fun crowd. Music was good and varied. I just was worried that people arent social distancing as they should be, but thats other patrons. Venue staff were safe.

Beautiful party feeling, good blend of African and American music and diverse crowd too. Definitely worth checking out ......we didnt want to leave if it wasnt for the 2.am closing time.

An Old Oakland bar that is still working out some of its kinks, but is becoming a great nightlife spot in the area. Between when it first opened to now, Parliament has gotten significantly better. The interior is cool and modern, and the bartenders are friendly enough. The place can be packed or empty at the most random times, but if its busy, it can get crammed. Looking forward to visiting again.

Good experience tonight. They filled up pretty fast but it wasnt over crowded. Drinks in the high priced end. Music was good.

Nice place to hang out with friends, bar dancing and so much fun. The good thing is they open not only during the weekend. Even weekdays check out on Wednesday night fabulous.

DJ played gresr variety of new and old school music, drinks were well prepared and reasonable, and security ensured you where comfortable, every minute you were in there establishment.

Security was tripping, said there were too many dudes inside so they told us to come in with more women then told us we couldnt wear hoodies but let a group of 4 guys with no women and hoodies in no problem. The venue was cool though

There’s no dance floor. Security guards run the bathrooms. Ran into a man in the upstairs area who claimed to be the owner. A friend of a friend’s was djing that night. We went up to say hi. The owner muttered something to me that I didn’t understand, I got closer, he said “you gotta go.” I left. I’ve never been back.

I came here for a queer POC dance party and had a blast. The drinks were bussin and the vibe was cute.

Best place to hang out for a good treat

I went to a Halloween party there and they wouldnt even let me wear my full mask but they let others wear half masks from a nose down or from the nose up??? The security kept shining their lights and peoples faces. Someone in my group lost their wallet the same night and was asking the security guard if you can take a look. The head security guard or doorman laughed in his face and said you wont find it then proceeded to yell out loud to non-employee strangers did anyone find a wallet on the floor? If the strangers didnt know that there was a wallet on the floor then they did then...SMH. The place is decent but some of the guards suck! If you want to feel like suspect go to Parliament nightclub in Oakland.

The club was cool, drinks and music was cool, but it was so damn hot and musty smelling inside once we entered. Need better ventilation.

This is an amazing night club. I went there on a Wednesday and they truly did play Nigerian music and it was great. Amazing DJ and the entertainment does not disappoint

I went on a Wednesday Night which was Caribbeans music night. I danced and I danced and I danced. I truly enjoyed myself. O by the way, I went with my daughter and I danced more than her.

DJ was great but the security with those annoying flashing light in your eyes all night kills your vibe. Not sure if Ill return for a VIP event with my group ???

Club was ok would be better if you could smoke and entry fee is way too much for what is in there... drinks are way over priced... also.... they dont even have a pool table....

I think they need to sell finger foods or platters like wings. And the alcohol is weak.

Young ,beautiful and diverse crowd . The music is a mixture of Rap , Pop and R&B . I enjoyed this spot 👍

An awesome experience in Union Square! It is one of the biggest speakeasies I have ever seen in my life with multiple bars, dance floors, and seating areas!

Still outdoors but nicely set up. Music playing. Plenty of seating and nicely spaced apart. Great drinks.

Available for private parties of 50 +- people. I attended a 70th birthday party there...enough space, but the seating was too low for seniors (ottomans, low sofas)
