Very quick and to the point, my experience was everything I wanted it to be! My partner and I had a couple’s massage here a few days after a long hike and all of our sore muscles were worked out. We’re just in town visiting but would come back again if we had the chance!

Do yourself (and a loved one) a favor: visit Vila Massage!My wife and I ordered the couples massage. While we had done one before, this is the first time in this location. Both of us complained of neck and upper back pain/tightness prior to going in.The masseuse did an amazing job. They routinely checked in to see if the pressure was too hard or soft (for me, she was on the verge of too hard in some of my worst spots). Our massage included hot coals which was a very nice touch.The room and massage tables were clean and nicely decorated.At the end, we both felt so good, we were sad it was over! We left in better spirits and immediately discussed when we would be returning.

I have been dreaming of a really good hard full body massage for the past 3 years. This was an excellent choice for me. I dont care for the frou frou as far as ambience is concerned. I just want to feel good kneading on my muscles and be relieved of the discomfort. I mentioned to the Asian masseuse that I prefer hard massage. She demonstrated and asked if it was hard enough. I approved. She started with good, dry massage on my back, then proceeded with oil massage. That took about 30 minutes and then she left and came back with heated stones that she used to warm specific areas on my back. She then continued with massaging using the warm stones on certain areas on my nape and shoulders. These all felt heavenly. She instructed me to lie supine and massaged my scalp. So scrumptious! And did the rest of my body. I felt so relaxed and invigorated at the same time. I will come back to this place when I am in the area again. They take cash and credit cards.

I had the pleasure of receiving a deep massage from Anna, and I cant express how incredible the experience was. Annas expertise and skill in massage therapy are truly exceptional. She has an intuitive understanding of the bodys needs and knows how to apply just the right amount of pressure to release tension and promote relaxation. Her deep massage technique left me feeling rejuvenated and entirely stress-free. Annas professionalism and welcoming demeanor also added to the overall enjoyment of the session. Where do I start?How about the overall atmosphere? Tacky!Staff? Friendly enough.I asked if my therapist would be able to understand my preferences and it was indicated that although she wouldnt speak English she would understand my basic preferences.Actual massage experience...I was brought into my dimly lit treatment room by the manager and told that I should take off my shoes and socks and then later I would take off my shirt and lie on the massage table.So, 1st was the footsoak, which was a joke. A moderately warm basin of water that you put your feet in for 5 minutes..Next the massage. I started face up: she worked on my face and feet and then I was told to roll over.Ever try to put your face into a round hole that even though there is an extra cushion, doesnt fit your face or isnt soft enough? That was my experience for the remaining 40 minutes of the treatment. A few warm stones were introduced at the end of the treatment and again this was nothing to get very excited about.The therapist was obviously caring, but a little heavy handed and even though I told her it was too hard, we kept going down that same road together. At times some of her moves were nice, but overall I would say she was minimally skilled. I only say this because I have been a massage therapist for 44 years and I have a pretty good read on someones experience , training and intention.There were some good things, but overall I was relieved when it was over, although I will admit I was more relaxed than when I came in.I took a few pictures to illustrate the overall atmosphere of the place.I came on a Groupon, so I cant complain about price but in the end you always seem to get what you pay for!I bought 2 of these Groupons because of the high ratings, but Im not even sure Im going to use my 2nd one.I wouldnt consider myself a negative person and I dont like writing negative reviews, although I have an obligation to tell the truth. So maybe I just got the wrong therapist on the wrong day. Good luck!

I love it here. Its become my go to when I need to refresh my body. Its professional, clean, and nicely decorated. Front desk does a good job of getting you set up right away. My masseuse Anna is great. Im always amazed of how shes knows just what my body needs. I always ask for hard pressure that clears Knotts and relieves tight muscle. So if youre in need of that I would recommend you wont be disappointed.

Just had the most spectacular deep tissue massage from Anna. If you are anywhere near Oceanside you must go to Vila Massage!

It used to be my go to massage place. I must say that the masseuses are very professional but they failed to reach the correct amount of pressure. Im putting 3 stars in there because of two things (1) my old masseuse named Coco she is really great. She is also my moms favourite. (2) the place is very clean.We do miss Coco, after her we cant find anyone as good as her. I will only go back to this place when it is convenient but if you are going to ask me if this is still my go to place, I dont think so without Coco it isnt the same

My back still hurts 3 days later (not usual soreness from a massage, I get them regularly). Terrible experience.I told the massage therapist three times to go softer but he still went hard. Im afraid of permanent damage.The bucket for the foot soak is like one for a mop, so your feet dont fit fully and its uncomfortable.In addition, they dont offer pillows for under your knees so your forced to lay flat on your back with your feet in a mop bucket. Very uncomfortable.Save your money! Trust me, its worth paying a little more for somewhere else.

Wow. Amazing. Very affordable and the massages were worth their weight in gold. My masseuse somehow knew exactly what needed attention without me saying a thing. They know what theyre doing here. Definitely coming back. Thanks so much for a great experience.

My husband and I went here for the 90 minute couples massage and it was amazing! They are reasonably priced and we both felt very comfortable there! We were both beyond impressed with the services we received, and we will be back again!

Their massage packages are great values, but we had to wait to get to our room so don’t plan your schedule around being in and out in an hour, but they still gave us the whole hour once they got us in. Also, when they offer hard or soft, just know these massage therapists can go HARD, so keep that in mind, haha.

Went for the couples massage and were really impressed with the clean space and details. Flowers, quiet atmosphere, many clean sheets and towels. I loved the sign on the wall encouraging us to let them know immediately if a firmer or softer pressure was needed. Sometimes I hesitate to ask! Sarah was very welcoming and kind and made us feel like guests.The massage was thorough, with both Mike and Sarah checking in on occasions to make sure the pressure was right. We got the full body with hot oil and stones plus an energizing mask. The stones and mask were new to me but was really enjoying the heat.Looking forward to coming back. It was a great deal for a very professional massage.

My husband and I got a couples massage. It was amazing! Deep tissue and they put their whole body into it. They worked very hard and did a fantastic job. One of my all time top massages, and I get them monthly. Wish I lived here - I would come back all of the time. Thank you!

We went in for a couples massage and it got the job done. The rooms are definitely relaxing and the warm tables are a bonus. I will say part of the relaxing atmosphere was dampened by other employees walking around in loud shoes in the hallway multiple times during our hour massage. There was also very little regard of the employees talking quietly in the area of our massage room so we werent able to enjoy a quiet couples massage. Im a mom of two and its rare I get out with my husband and sometimes the quiet is nice. I was also thrown off when we scheduled our massage at 11 and 30 minutes beforehand, they called to ask if we could come in a later time due to other clients not arriving on time. They told me that if I still came at 11, Id have to sit and wait until 11:30 for my appointment, even if I said no to a later time. Once I explained that I had a sitter for Mothers Day and paying by the hour, they said okay and took us right on time. Overall, well most likely return but only if we cant find another place in the general area that we like. I think it would definitely benefit future clients if the other employees are more mindful of how loud they are, as well as their shoes, to ensure clients have the most relaxing massage possible.

Oh WOW.. WOW by far this has been the best massage i have gotten. I definately will be back. This will be my once a month treat for me.06-20-2023 went in for a massage before leaving on our trip to Florida. It was wonderful, as always. This is by far one of the best, relaxing places to get a massage. Will return again soon.

Daniel is the best. He knows the areas that need to be worked and he listens to you. If you want a really deep tissue, he’ll give it to you if you wanna softer massage, she will give that to you as well. I will be working with him weekly to get out all the knots. First-timers here. My husband and I called them a few days earlier to schedule a morning appointment on Sunday and while they were already booked all morning, we were pleasantly surprised that they were willing to open 30mins early to accommodate us. We tried their 60-min couples massage and Stephen and Coco were excellent! They were very thorough and would adjust to your preferences if you want your massage lighter or harder. It was a very relaxing experience and well be back!

New to area, so tried Vila massage to test out a new massage place to help with pain management, loosen tension, relax muscles. They helped with all of the above. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere, friendly and professional. I will come again.

My boyfriend and I got a couples massages here. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I have had knots in my back for quite some years due to sports and my masseuse really worked them out. I typically don’t get enough pressure applied but he was great! ! Overall peaceful and relaxing environment; definitely recommend.

This is where you need to go if you have some knots to work out, they will be obliterated after 60 minutes. I asked for hard pressure, and they didn’t disappoint. Amazing massage for your money

Great experience! I booked a couples massage and they were able to get us in the next day. Ran into traffic on the way driving an hour from Murrieta...arrived late and they welcomed us with open arms. Our massage therapists were Coco and Wendy. They were professional and the massage was amazing...worth the drive! Clean and friendly environment too. I will definitely be returning and recommending Vila Massage to friends and family.

To be honest, this was one of the best massages I’ve had in a long time. Atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. Staff was so polite. My masseur was Annie and in one hour she took my back pain away. I 100% recommend her if you’re in need of some great hands. Plus side the hot stones were a bonus.

I’m so saddened by mine and my husbands experience here. I used to receive great massages here and go every other week! The quality has truly gone down…My knee was basically being twisted while being massaged and I kept having to adjust, I thought the masseuse (Eric) would get the hint when I said sorry for constantly adjusting. My hair was basically tossed in circled first ten minutes. My husband had a lady, I believe it was Assesia(I probably wrecked that spelling) and he was just getting ‘rubs’ and not really a massage. I don’t like giving negative reviews but I think it’s important that if you’re going to spend money on a foot massage, it’s important to know what you’re getting.I hope one day we can go back when the service is better.

After hours of searching for a great spa and reading all kinds of reviews from multiple locations I stumbled upon this spa on Groupon. I read the reviews here and on Groupon and so I got the couples 65 min full body massage. I was able to use the voucher on a weekend and it was great! The place is nice, the rooms are spacious, and its clean. Coco and Sarah are amazing! Very professional and they made sure my boyfriend and I were okay with the pressure and temp (we did the hot stones as well). Definitely coming back!

Very reasonable price for the service I got. The therapist as well as the receptionist were very nice.

I had a good massage experience today with Miss Sarah and Miss Cici. Miss Cici was my massage therapist and OMG! I was impressed focusing on my neck, shoulder and back pain. Feel better after an hour of massage. Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job for the customers satisfaction. And definitely recommend this place. :)

My husband and I came here today for a couples massage and it was beyond amazing! It was my husbands first massage and he could not stop talking about how relaxed and awesome he felt and I felt the exact same! CiCi and Mike worked out our backs amazingly! There were places I didn’t even know I was tense in and all the kinks were worked out! I cannot even tell you how relaxing the entire place is! Not to mention the prices are budget friendly! We will be back for more massages in the future and if you’re looking for a new massage place this is it!

Had a great massage by David last week! Nice ambiance in the room and everything clean and professional. Not much talking at all but that is fine with me=) Massage actually started out kinda off and had me wondering if it would be any good but David really found his groove once the session got going and the head, neck, and shoulder massage at the end was really the STAR and a perfect way to finish!!! I will be back for sure.

Massage was ok. I just got the 30 minute Massage and so glad that I did because it wasnt great. I preferred a woman but a guy did it. He worked the hell out of my back as it seems that they dont massage your front. My back hurt for days afterwards. Not sure if Ill be going back or not but I love the price. If I do go back, Ill request a female and see if she will massage my front and legs as it was called a full body massage . Additionally, the manager didnt appear too friendly either. She specifically informed me to take off my shirt and bra and leave my pants on. That should have been my clue!

It was a good experience. It was my first time getting a message and I was not disappointed. The only thing I can say is my wife and I showed up at 9pm and they were going to close at 10pm. I called 30 min prior to see if that was okay with them and they said yes they will take us. We got done with the whole hour message and at the end the guy and the lady who had given us the message were basically telling us we had to pay them a 20% tip. I’m not sure if that was the rules there but they would not let us leave unless they got paid their tip because claiming most of the money goes to the owner and not them. I would’ve marked 5 stars but that was a NO from me after that. I did not mind given them a tip because they were very friendly. The fact that they kind of blocked our way out unless we did though was very unprofessional. Will not be going back. Sorry!

Purchased 3 Groupons for myself and daughters. We all had the same experience with our foot scrubs, and back massages, all were harsh and too much pressure. The foot scrubs were applied, and the massage was too much pressure, I personally felt like my skin was getting rubbed off. The therapist sounded annoyed doing the massage, with heavy breathing and clearing his throat, and then a baby woke up in one of the rooms and started to cry. I see that from other reviews, the experiences were much better, however, I wont be back. I did not feel relaxed or refreshed like I should have. I wish it had been a better experience.

I didn’t have an appt but they were able to take me as soon as I came in. I got the 75 min combo massage and Daniel did a great job from start to finish and was able to maintain the same deep pressure throughout. Left feeling relaxed and less stressed! This was my first time here but I’ll definitively be back!

No idea how these folks get good reviews! The woman who gave me a massage, along with my wife had no idea what she was doing, be sure to ask for documentation of a certified LMT before getting a massage anywhere. I am certain that their staff is not certified as they applied a lot of pressure without any direction towards obvious problem areas even when directed to! This was the worst massage I have ever had and now have a very serious pain I my lumbar vertebrae. Tables are not massage tables, simple flat table with a hole for your head that cannot be tilted for proper angle on your neck. You get what you pay for, dont be fooled by the environment and the music!

Very professional. I did the hour massage and it was amazing. I had kinked my neck from sleeping on it the other night and it feels great now! 10 out of 10 recommend. They also had some water for me right after the massage which was nice.

Im new to Oceanside so I Googled massage near me....they have the highest ⭐ rating in my area so I went...the girl that have me the message was friendly, cute, and gave a good deep tissue and hot stone, was not a fully trained masseuse. but the worst pair was that I paid for 90 minutes and the whole time it felt like she was in hurry and she herself was not relaxed at all and so I couldnt relax, the energy was very tensioned up. yeah I got a massage, but I was uncomfortable the whole time and I was trying my best to focus on my breathing and let go of control of my mind and my body(normally I am able to do this every time I get a massage) I feel like most of the problem was the energy of being rushed, in a hurry, needing to finish. it was not her fault, she was comfortable at first and we introduced ourselves as best we could, my Mandarin is worse than my Spanish so un poquito hablar she didnt understand much that I was saying so her responses were Thank You OK or just Laughter. , honestly it was cute, at first her energy said she was a fun and energetic person normally, but she couldnt get comfortable during the massage cuz she was not there, her mind was needing to hurry up. if youre still reading this honest review thats unnecessarily long... hope this helps somebody. Basically Im saying that the massage if my muscles and body was good, and Im sure if I had gone at a different time or other day with her when she wasnt in a hurry, when she is able to relax and not in a hurry, it would have been a pleasant experience. I forgot her name but the stamp card the owner gave me after I paid looks like LoLo is written on it,, I dont think its CoCo LOL I paid $70 to the house and then gave her a $10 tip cuz I know she wanted it to be a different experience too... maybe next time

I just came back after Covid and have to say this was amazing. Annie gave me an incredible message.. I feel completely rejuvenated.This is an amazing place a great message at a very fair price. A great place for a massage! It is clean and the masseuses are well trained and customize the massage (pressure, detail, etc) as per the customer. Also it is quite easy to get a same-day appointment, or atleast something within the next couple days, as opposed to other massage places which are fully booked for weeks at a time.I would recommend the deep tissue massage, which is great for the price (~$50/hr), and they currently have a discount on Groupon as well.Do not forget to tip your masseuse!

I went in not knowing what to expect, but I knew I wanted a foot massage. Sarah greeted me and offered me the combo ... and massage recieved from her was a gift I was not expecting. She has hands and shoulders that are there for you. She truly is a hard working woman who, as long as you are with her, she will be dedicating her efforts to you. This place is the place you want to come in to recieve a genuinely, relaxing massage.

Sarah, my messeuse, was amazing. Very professional and made my first time getting a deep tissue massage a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I originally made an appointment because I strained the right side of my upper trapezius performing am exercise the day prior with bad technique. Additionally, my quads were very tight dude to a leg day workout days before. Sarah applied the perfect amount of pressure to relieve the soreness in the affected areas, and I ended up feeling more relaxed than I have in a long time. The massage was more than worth its value and I absolutely would reccommend it to anyone, healthy or injured.

When I am in town this is my go to place for massages. Very affordable prices and great massage therapist. As soon as I come back in town. Vila massage will be my first stop!

This place is the best. Most places I go find it difficult to fully massage me because am muscular but Cici did a wonderful job that my lower back pooped for the first time. Would definitely recommend this place.
