I have over ten credits on my account. I had scheduled an appointment last weekend for a message and skin treatment. My father passed away during this weekend and I needed to fly out. I thought my credits would cover the cost of the cancelations, but the company charged me almost 200.00 for the missed appointments. When I called they indicated I had no credits left which was completely false. I will now go to the location to cancemy membership due to them refusing use the credits owed to me.
The staff are so friendly. And I have lived each therapist I’ve seen. They always have their own styles and bring something different to the massage.
Isabel is an outrageously talented aesthetician. Her knowledge of the products and her expertise in her field, shine through, brightly! I was mostly impressed by her kindness she exuded and listening skills, attention to detail in consultation, concerning my skin care needs; as well as, patience in truly understanding my skin care goals. It was a tailored PCA facial, and Isabel made sure to give a detailed description of the steps and what she was doing, each time.Secondly, Shannon at the front desk, was accommodating and had a nice and calming spa, type of energy. I was explained the membership benefits, as well. Happy to have had such a relaxing and tranquil experience from beginning to end. Thank you, ME WP!
I have had two skin treatments with Miguel so far and Im very satisfied with his quality of work.My skin is not only sensitive but I also have sensory issues that have been triggered during skin treatments in the past.Miguel has a very gentle touch and isnt pushy when it comes recommending future treatments or products.

The new Himalayan salt hot stone experience is incredible. I could feel the tension melt when Gladys massaged with the stones in hand. Im considering a 2nd session on my next visit. I recommend giving this a try.
That you cannot freeze your account, without paying $20 a month, after paying so much money and still access your packages is deplorable as an organization.
Each massage therapist Ive seen has been wonderful. They listen to what are I need work on each time and how much pressure I prefer. Their front desk workers are pleasant and helpful. I get reminder calls, which is helpful. Ive only had one facial here, but it was wonderful.
I have called multiple times to cancel and I keep getting told that a manager or coordinator will call me but never happens and yet they continue to charge my bank account. Stay away. This is theft.
GLADYS! My girl. I love coming here monthly to see her. Unfortunately, the front desk changes OFTEN. Something is going on and its making me miss many of the workers I first met. The staff is changing monthly it seems, and I obviously dont know why but the energy is off in there. I hope this gets investigated further. A work environment in my opinion should be supportive and fun not quiet and hostile. You want to feel like work is worth going to not deal with each other until you feel like quitting. I hope things get better, as this is a great location and the therapists here are wonderful. The front desk has some people Ive really enjoyed seeing too but most have not returned. I wish this location well!

Edited 7/1/23I have been seeing Karina for a year now. It has been confirmed that my severe chronic pain was due to a rare condition called Slipping Rib Syndrome. I told Karina I had surgery a few years ago to suture my dislocated ribs together in place. She went above and beyond to research this condition and was able to confirm that she also agrees with this diagnosis.I started working at a desk job a few months ago and some of the previous issues I had when I worked at a desk started to come back. I was wearing my tens unit more often again. So when Massage Envy finally offered cupping, Karina asked to try it on me.I’ve had extreme scar tissue built up so she was excited to try this new add on with me as she knew it would be helpful for my treatment. She has also been alternatively using the K tape on me which I can instantly feel relief and helps me build muscle.The last 2 months we have been using both treatments and I am absolutely blown away that I have been working at a desk and haven’t had to use my tens unit in 3 whole weeks. I was using it almost every day at my desk to help cope with the pain. Karina has literally changed my life. I can’t remember the last time I have been this pain . She knows exactly where and what the issues are and how to treat them. I honestly cannot say enough about Karina. I even had my aunt have a session with her and Karina worked on a previous ankle injury and my aunt had never felt better! I feel so blessed to have found Karina, she truly changed my life(Previous)I cannot speak highly enough of this location. I have severe chronic pain from a traumatic accident and one of the only things that helps is massage and i wear a tens unit almost 24/7. All of the therapists are amazing, but I started seeing Karina and I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt this good! She doesn’t just massage, she really knows the body and how to work out knots and stretch your muscles so she fixes the problem. She has been able to help me more in a month and a half than Drs have in 20 years.The front desk staff is also awesome, Pedro and Sienna are always on top of things and make me feel like one of the crew!! I actually go further to visit this location, its the best!
As far as I’m concerned, this is the only massage envy. Anyone should go to this location is awesome. The management is awesome. I don’t even think they have a bad massage therapist here.
This Massage Envy location should be used as a standard for the rest. There are three Massage Envy locations that are closer than this one for me, but the atmosphere here is great. The tranquility room is just that...a tranquility room. I have been to another location and they didnt even have the calming music or visual with the fish on the wall, which is also very calming.The people at the front desk are always very welcoming and friendly. The manager, JP, is also very friendly. You feel valued as a customer.Because of my long-time therapist, Will, leaving, I had no choice but to start with another therapist. Will was incredible and had helped me for a very long time. I knew I would miss him. Unfortunately, he moved out of state. So I started with Mayra and she has been terrific.As I said, I travel 40 minutes to get here, and its because of the atmosphere that has been created at this location by the owner and the staff. Check it out for yourself. You wont be sorry.
Hello,My name is Carol Smaya and I will come straight to the point. I was given a massage envy gift card for Christmas. One of my neighbors that I do not know well has been having a difficult time. In an effort to be a good neighbor and exhibit some human kindness, I wanted to show him simply that someone cares because WE HAVE ALL BEEN THERE.I offered him my massage envy gift card because as I explained after you receive a massage, you wonder why you waited so long. I called last Sunday to make the appointment for him and I spoke with Vanessa at the Sodo location in Orlando. She asked me for his last name and I was not able to give it to her because as I said, I was just trying to exhibit some human kindness for a neighbor and pass along a gift that I had received. She told me she was not able to book the appointment without my credit card on file. I told Vanessa that I wanted to check some other locations as well because we wanted a couple’s massage and Sodo didn’t seem to have any available.I told her that I could not confirm that he could make that appointment until I called him. I told her that if I was able to confirm that with him I would call her back and give her the my credit card number to hold the appointment.I have not seen him much this week as he has been struggling. My understanding is that the heating pad I gave him and his medication isn’t helping much. I’m sad to hear it.Vanessa called me this morning and let me know that I had failed to cancel the appointment and that we are usually charged for a same day cancellation. I reminded her of the conversation that we had and that if I had been able to confirm today’s appointment with him I would have called back and left my credit card number. But since she specifically stated that the appointment could not be booked without the credit card number and I was not able to confirm with him that he could make it, it seemed that there was no reason to call back.Vanessa kept on insisting that I had failed in some way to keep this appointment and spoke to me in a very condescending tone stating, “next time you need to..” I stopped her. I asked her if she felt better about herself trying to make me feel small.There will be no next time. I am so happy that I did not give this man the gift of my gift card so that he could be treated so meanly by someone that is so heartless. She only seemed concerned that I am aware that “I FAILED TO KEEP THE APPOINTMENT AND THAT IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN I WILL BE CHARGED.” She went on to read her notes stating that her notes contradicted what she had actually told me about not being able to reserve the appointment date without my cc number.I have thrown my gift card in the trash and I will pay another company to provide a day of pampering for my neighbor. This was suppose to be a gift of loving kindness for someone that apparently does not receive much of that from anyone. And clearly something that Vanessa herself does not understand.I have read about Massage Envy’s ongoing lawsuits regarding inappropriate behavior exhibited by therapists and others at your establishments.Vanessa’s behavior confirms that Massage Envy is not a gift at all. It’s so sad that I have been made to feel ashamed by some hourly employee at your business for trying to exhibit some human kindness.May you all receive lovingkindness from others when you truly need it, and may people like Vanessa not rob you of the opportunity to simply be kind to someone.Happy new year,Carol Smaya

Ive had a membership with Massage Envy for about 5 years ; I have never had such terrible customer service experience at ANY location until now, over the phone with Pedro. His pettiness and unprofessional demeanor got me out of my character and I was not able to contain my attitude. WORST manager that ever lived. You have no right to even be training a new person there, because YOU shouldnt be working there. Got me all stressed out that now i need a massage just dealing with you and your disgusting attitude!

Atmosphere at SODO Massage Envy is calming. Staff is attentive and friendly. My 2 hr. relaxation massage with Jasmine was excellent. Her technique exceeded my expectations. Absolutely recommend Jaz. I had an amazing facial with Stacey and I would highly recommend her.Positives: staff was kind and accommodating and able to book an appointment that would work with my schedule.Esthetician was very knowledgeable and had great tips for my skin regimen.The environment was so relaxing I enjoyed my time here and felt rejuvenated when I left.Negatives: the only negative thing I experienced was finding parking which isn’t really the businesses fault but I would definitely recommend giving yourself 10 minutes to find parking or park and in garage and walk.
Everyone at this location was very nice and accomodating, but my daughters massage was not what she was expecting. She asked for a firm massage a few times and to focus on a certain areas, but it was the opposite. She has had a ton of massages before, but this is the first time she left feeling like it didnt help at all. She left feeling like she didnt even have a massage. She still has tons of knots and is in pain.
No appointment availability, canceled multiple appointments; when I went to cancel my membership Jean-Paul patronized me by brining up the one time I missed an appointment despite the fact they canceled multiple appointments and couldn’t reschedule for a month. I canceled my membership back in April- AND THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME ILLEGALLY.
Had an issue with not being able to make an appointment on the day of my scheduled appointment. The manager knew i was upset about being charged almost $100 dollars on my card so he refunded me back half of the money. I really appreciated that he took the time to hear me out and give some of my money back.

I have been a member for years. Always a great experience, except one time when I agreed to a man for a message and he had hairy arms. Just kidding, I am a guy. Never had a bad message. Always friendly, great service. They are busy on Sunday, so book early for that day of the week. Otherwise, great availablity. I saw a negative review and could not believe it. Update: today is 1/28/21 still no refund on-site and was told I have to wait another 10 days . However the first 2 “refunds” never went through so what is different about a 3rd? Check your google reviews before booking here! THEY ARE KNOWN FOR NOT REFUNDING MONEY!!!! Cooperate never calls you back and no one at this store has answers!!!I have been waiting for a refund since 1/3 because one of the girl up front checked me out under someone else’s name. I waited past the 3-5 business days to call the location after calling my bank. I have spoken to multiple people and managers and keep getting a run around. One of the people I spoke too was really really rude getting an attitude with me when I tried to explain the situation. No one ever calls back when they say they are going to and here we are on the 19th and I now have to wait again until Friday for an answer. This is ridiculous the massage I had was great and the masseuse was so nice and professional but everything else going on will make me never come back to a massage envy again.
Booked 60 minute Microderm facial. Facial was done in 20 min. Total misrepresentation of services and pricing. Don’t go here if you want a relaxing experience! The fraudulent activity will take away all of your peace.
Myra gave me a prenatal massage to help with some sciatic pain Ive been experiencing. She was very professional, kind, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely go back!

Only 4 stars because the non member pricing is actually insane. 5 star place.The intro rate massages are super duper worth it and you should definitely come here at least once. You wont regret it. Sadly, it gets VERY steep for repeat massages, but that doesnt take away from the absolutely top notch quality.
Bday trip for myself from MD to visit my cousin for her bday local, and 4 of us booked massages. My massage was mediocre at best considering the woman I had was a bit older and frail but sweet, so no big deal. Everyone else seemed pls with their massage. i just prefer a bit stronger hands. The issue came in when I paid for my cuz as her bday surprise but then they confused her with one other girl and still charged her while i was outside. So they promised to refund her. She fought with them about it for weeks and still no refund. Come to find out they refunded me not her 2 wks later. I called to confirm I got the refund and the Manager J Paul was full of attitude and very dismissive. I did not let him push me off the phone and spoke directly to Izzy who was pleasant and hopefully they dont make anymore mistakes. Moral of the story the manager has to go and they need to be more careful about how they do business.
How I feel about massage envy is ZERO STARSI really want to rate this a ZERO ...They told me if I canceled I can use the accrued visits I paid for which were 8 massage sessions in one year that I paid for and did not use. So today I call and Megan tells me it expires within 30-60 days after cancellation... ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! as long as they get $70 monthly they do not harass you but now that I want to go get a facial and use my 8 pending visits I CAN NOT!!! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR MASSAGES .. GO SOME WHERE ELSE LIKE HAND AND STONES .... I basically lost $560 dollars ...

I had a massage that expired when everything was closed during Covid times. I booked an appointment recently to use the last massage and Massage Envy not only failed to honor the massage that had expired when I had absolutely no control over the expiration, they also refused to at least honor the rate at which that massage had been purchased. Adding insult to injury the massage was extremely poor quality and felt very haphazard. I’m truly disappointed that this company feels entitled to take advantage of clients during a really difficult period.
This business may be the largest scam in modern times. Once they have your credit card it is virtually impossible to ever get them to stop billing you without canceling your credit card. They have been dragging my wife on for months with excuses for why they can’t move or freeze her account and continue to bill us. Unless you plan to get a massage every month for the rest do your life, don’t join, or get ready to throw a bunch of money away.
Very nice place, everyone is so friendly! Erin rocks, my massages are always amazing and I feel so much better after. I have pain in my neck and shoulders, also sciatic pain on the regular, but after a massage, I have about 90% less pain! It’s amazing! Check them out!

After another amazing experience I decided I MUST write a review. EVERY SINGLE TIME I contact them or visit this location it is beyond an amazing experience. From the second you check in to the second you check out it is a pleasant experience. In a world where not many take their customer service work seriously, I can attest to the staff here taking a lot of pride in their work…and it is appreciated.

Bree is great! I get very painful muscle spasms near my right shoulder blade and lumbar region. I have 4 fused vertebrae in my lumbar. I’ve experienced numbness in my right arm. When Bree was working on my neck she was able to duplicate the numbness. I was surprised this happened but it tells me I may have additional issues with my vertebrae so I’m going to the doctor to address this issue. I’m always looking for ways to feel better and I hit the jackpot with Bree! Thank you dear!
Dont listen to their sales representatives. They flat out lied to me whether from stupidity or lack of morals and told me you can cancel your membership at anytime, no worries! and there wont be any fees for cancelling before the end of the membership. And after months of dealing with this the managers will not take responsibility for their sales team and want me to pay to get out of my membership. Will never go back here or to any Massage Envy again.
Today made my Fourth overall visit. Every tech ive had, did a great job on me. I often get the deep tissue massage. Today my tech was David, a Navy vet. He did an excellent full body w focus on my calves( runner problems). Very great bed side manors. Hands strong enough to get the deep knots out, but gentle enough to relax the muscles in my neck. I LOVE how he focused on my feet, felt like my circulation improved instantly. Thanks David, see ya next month.
Ask for David!! He rocks!!! I’ve been a client here since 2011, and until him, had never found an individual therapist that I was inclined to be loyal to. Now I always wait for David if he’s booked. The office staff is very friendly, and the location always looks very clean.

One of the major benefits of Massage Envy is there are several locations across the country, making it easy to receive the same spa experience while traveling. Finding myself in Orlando and in desperate need of a massage, I booked an appointment for a friend and I. I have always gone with a female massage therapist, as that is what I feel comfortable with, but scheduling last minute left me with two options between my friend and I. I went with David and I could not be more thrilled with the experience!!! David took the time to conduct a thorough history and assess my needs unlike any other massage therapist I have encountered. Being in health care, I pay attention to detail and the care that other professionals deliver. I was blown away by Davids knowledge and skillset in working with the musculoskeletal system. I left feeling amazing and more satisfied than I have ever been at my home location. Davids skillset is truly an art, and his dedication to studying the human body and biomechanics further lends to his craft. If you ever find yourself in Orlando, be sure to ask for David at the SODO location. You will not regret it!! Youre welcome in advance.

The staff will say anything to get a sale. Contrary to what I was told when I signed up you can not cancel your membership at any time. Rip off!!!! When I called to complain the manager was very unprofessional. The massages are mediocre. The goal is to get you in and get you out. Since I am forced to stick it out for the rest of the year I will try another location but I am particularly dissatisfied with the sodo location.
I dont know if all the locations do this but this location sold me a recycled gift card. I was so glad that I opened the sealed envelope they gave because the gift card looked like something that they recovered from the trash. Disgusting. I dont think they should be recycled...who knows where the last holder had it or did with it. In any case, I made the trip back to the location after calling them. The manager was behind the counter and couldnt bother to apologize for my inconvenience or anything. Just looked at me and walked away. Management 101. I will never go into this location again.

I went there with a very bad sore feet, and just wanted my feet done, nothing else, and the person mostly did my legs and some of my feet. And then they wanted me to go on this other thing monthly payment. And they just want money, I would 100% not recommend these people at all. Big waste of time and money
