I’ve been a member since it opened in Ventura. Great massage and front desk!! The owner of the franchises get 1 star. Her policies are just to benefit her. Not her members……. I’ve been dealing with her rules through 2 cancers, she gives you a time limit to use the credits you have saved from as the monthly payment still goes on your credit card. Be nice if she worked with her customers as well as her workers do.

Im very sad to say I was very disappointed about the company new policy. I had always enjoyed with the massage therapist. My disappointment came to me when I explained I had to pause my monthly payment so to some medical issues and financial decisions between a massage or eating. With the increase of food expenses I had to make a decision. When I explained to pause I had 1 credit still available and paid for although while I am on pause I can not use my already paid for service. Brought me back to having a gym membership I never used and when you tried to stop the auto payment. Its impossible to cancel. If I paid for a service I should have a choice to use it but was told its a new policy so sorry. I no longer will continue my membership and so buyer beware. Very disappointed and I will share my experience so someone else is preparing for a disappointment. As I said buyer beware.

The facial from Janna was amazing. Honestly, I have never really been disappointed by the facials from massage envy. But this one was just super relaxing and my face was so soft and clean.

Coretta is excellent! She’s She is always my go to person for my facial! I hadn’t been in for a few months because of life. My skin started breaking out a lot in that time and she helped me try and figure out what was causing it. She even remembered all the products I’ve been using without consulting her notes! I definitely recommend her for all your skin needs! If you need a massage I also highly recommend Donna! She always relaxes me and takes care of all the knots in my muscles!

Mina at the Collection in Oxnard is such an amazing massage therapist. She has expert skills to address all the knots and tense muscles, and I left there so much more relaxed!

The 90 minute massage is perfect for me, 60 minutes is just not quite long enough.Kimberly listens what you have to say, and then concentrates on those areas.I get a monthly massage, always with Kimberly and I feel like she focuses on those tight muscles as well as the overall body. I value the effects of a good massage, and the importance of finding the right person for you to provide that service. I have found that with Kimberly.

If you need a good facial, you have to go and see Janna here at the Oxnard location!! I have gotten lots of facial in my past and hers are the only ones I can actually see good results from. She is very knowledgeable, and has the best bed side manner. The high frequency treatment is amazing and can really help clear up your skin. I worked for a dermatologist for over 10 years, and know and appreciate a lot about skin care, and I can definitely recommend Janna and her services! You need her in your life. I recommend her to everyone.

I just had THE BEST facial with Janna! I’m 37 weeks pregnant and she made sure I was safe and comfortable, providing extra pillows and raising the head of the bed for me. Those location used to be good but has gone way down hill lately. Ive had appointments canceled, God awful therapists and most recently they forced me into booking a 90 minute session because their online booking system doesnt maximize the schedule. Im so sick of it and if I didnt have so many credits to use I would cancel in a heartbeat. The cost went up but the quality and customer service took a nosedive. The only reason to give any stars at all is that the facials, when they arent canceled, are very nice.

Our friend suggested trying out Leilani for massages, and after my wife had an amazing experience last month, I decided to give it a go with a full body massage from Leilani yesterday. It was absolutely fantastic! Huge thanks to Leilani, and we cant wait to be back soon! 🌟

Very disappointing. I have had my last 3 massages cancelled due to different staff issues with no offer of reschedule or any help. Its hard enough to get an appointment here only for them to cancel the day of for three different months! I will be cancelling my membership since its basically useless.

My massage therapist, Kimberly, was awesome as always. Always checking on how the massage is going, just the right pressure and very knowledgeable about what works best for me. Also front desk personnel friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the face cradle covering was not the usual covering which fits the cradle and makes it more comfortable and easy to breathe. A piece of sheet had to be used which was not comfortable at all. Disappointing.

I have been going to Kim in the Oxnard location for awhile. She is well knowledged to get my body back into shape. Her advice on how to better stretch and my daily movements have improved my life quality.

She has a very kind demeanor and a gentle touch, and it was a very relaxing experience. I felt very comfortable during my visit and recommend her for anyone visiting for the first time!

As always I was greeted with a friendly smile at the front desk. Edith the manager, Is always friendly in super efficient. Bowen did a great job. I felt rejuvenated and relaxed.

I recently had a fantastic light treatment facial by Coretta and microdermabrasion treatment by Madisson at the Oxnard location. I felt so glowy and rejuvenated after both. I also have had a fantastic experience with deep tissue massage by Andy.They are all very sweet and skilled at what they do, thank you!

The music was all over the place- songs would like end abruptly like it was one continuous album, that was designed to be played sequentially, but someone had put it on random.The carpet under my station was gross. (The ground under where you’re in a face down position could use vacuuming… hair/crumbs/etc… gross… as the last thing I see before I close my eyes, I’d prefer it to not be that…)For the price, I’d expect it to be nicer. Would give 1 star, but all of the employees were very nice and I liked my masseuse- nice and calm people/good hires went along way for me. Massage was good.

2022 Update: Madisson does amazing facials and is the sweetest. Mina is great at massages. She provides firm pressure that really helps with muscle pain and tension. The front desk is usually very helpful. I was especially appreciative of how they took on switching my membership from a different Massage Envy out of state.

I have been a member since the Oxnard location since they first opened…facials and microdermabrasion is what I focus on. The Cloretta is great. I decided to try a “relaxation massage” by Candice … amazing!

Coretta at the Oxnard & the Ventura Massage Envy locations does a wonderful facial. She is sweet, pleasant, & has a wealth of information for you & truly cares about her clients.

Just had my first in a long time facial with Nicole and I have to say she was fantastic. Very professional, yet easy to talk to. All the girls in the front were very welcoming and sweet. I had not had high expectations for this place considering it is in a new area of Oxnard, but it really is a great addition to the community. I will be returning.

My wife and I have been visiting this Massage Envy for a few weeks now and we love it. I have been with Christine while my wife has been with Candace and neither of us have anything negative to say about either of them. They are both amazing. My wife has had some back issues and I have had feet/leg issues which is why we decided to start coming in. After only a few sessions both of our ailments are a million times better. We highly recommend this location ad well as Christine and Candace. We will be back again soon.

Worst customer service ever bad experience if you sign up for a six-month membership they keep charging your card without your authorization. People at front desk are rude. Trying to charge me more for my last massage and then what I owed charge my card without letting me know. Never going back but Christina there is amazing. Only thing good there.

Very unprofessional. I got a massage from Renee. When I asked her not to use so much pressure on my upper arms as she was doing it, but that I would need a lot of pressure on my forearms (tense from typing a lot), she seemed offended. She said “I’m not a slave and I’m not a maid. Don’t keep telling me what to do. If that’s what you want you can get someone else.” So I didn’t say anything else for the rest of the massage. Then at the end, she said to me “now remember what I told you, and I’ll tell management also.” I was shocked. Then, When I tried to complain to the manager, I was told the manager wasn’t there. I kept calling every day for a week, I kept getting told manager wasn’t in. I left my phone number but never got a callback. This was shocking unprofessionalism, and I plan to cancel my membership to massage envy now though I’ve been in Massage Envy Memebr. for years. This was just such a bad experience.

I had Kim for my massage and I have to tell you it is the best massage I’ve ever had. I do have family in this area and will definitely recommend Kim to my family and friends! Thanks Kim!!!

I honestly don’t know how massage envy is still in business. I decided to give them another try after I left a decade ago. They are still very manipulative with their timing. Their “hour” sessions are 50 massage time with ten minutes consultation that is not needed. I timed my session because I’ve had trouble In the past with being shorted on time. I laid down in the table at 3:28pm. Massage started at 3:30 and she finished at 4:15pm. (My appt was at 3:15 and I arrived at 3:08) When I was done I asked why only 45 mins and the answer was that the clocks on the wall are 6 mins fast. Wait what? That doesn’t even make sense. After discussion with the therapist (who was very sorry at first) and the front staff they said “no you got the whole 50 mins because the clock is fast. We’ve heard that from other clients, too.” The “hour” massage is $70. That is not a deal. That is very expensive and I feel duped right now. I signed up for the mandatory 6 months and I am very upset that I fell into the massage envy trap again. Don’t do it. There are tons of therapists out there that will give the full hour and not argue with you about it.

I had the worst massage ever yesterday at massage envy oxnard. i honestly just wish i stopped it and walked out vs continuing for the 50 min. Vonnie performed a no pressure massage with the palms of her hands. I asked for medium pressure and got absolutely none. She didnt use her finger tips to massage it was literally her palms. when re-booking for another i informed the front desk of my experience. All i was offered was aromatherapy next time which im not interested in. My husband had a good experience which is the only reason ill try again at this location again. when rebooking the front desk said i wanted a high pressure massage which is NOT accurate. i just want what i asked for which is medium. Avoid Vonnie unless you want oil palmed on you with no pressure at all.

After booking 2 weeks in advance they cancelled the appointment 2 hours before …twice !!! If I could give below zero rating for customer service I would gladly do it …Massage might be good but the front desk is horrible.

Had a hiccup on scheduling my gift I had recieved from my office and Marianna went above and beyond to locate the account. This is what taking care of your client means. Not once did she turn my concern away, place me on a long hold, or dismiss the situation. Thank you and for this reason, I chose to set my time at this location even though there is a closer one but the other one just dismissed me after 10min.

I have been a massage envy member for 11 years. Oxnard is the worst managed location of the four I have visited. Front office staff is not consistent with customer service offered by other locations. They dont have any and should take training from another location, such as Ventura. I was laughed at AND charged for a recent traumatic experience I had on my last visit, regardless of what occurred. Efforts to reach the franchisor were blocked. After 11 years, I will be cancelling my membership.

Desent place inside. Really good message therapist. the only thing was that I stood in line for over 5min and I was never asked if I needed assistance or tried to get a co-worker to help me. The front deak person was to bussy to notice me while the employee tried to make a package sale to a female couple. Had to remind employee I was still there and needed assistance.
