Absolutely enchanting! My hubby and spent 4 wonderful nights in the Palm suite and we will most definitely be back. The property is so lush and peaceful that we almost didn’t want to explore the surrounding area. The host showed us around the property and there are so many exotic fruit trees; he even found a nice pineapple for us to try….delicious. There was a barbecue the day we arrived and we got to meet the neighbors. Afterward, the owner (Matt) drove us to a drag show and it had to be the best drag show I ever saw partly because of the amazing outdoor venue and the fantastic vibe of the audience. The hot tub on the property was the perfect place to soak, once, twice, three times a day. The guests we met were also great and friendly. The hood is straight out of Jurassic park..no need to visit the botanical gardens. We slept with the windows open and fell asleep to the amazing sound of the coquis at night. I actually made an audio recording to listen at home. I could go on…BEST STAY EVER!

I truly had a wonderful stay here. Houston was such a kind and insightful host. I felt welcomed and safe here as a solo female traveler and would love to come back!!

A good place to stay for some days, visit the black sand beach, the hot springs, the Volcano National Park and the night market that they have once a week near by. For the lgbt community they have every Monday an open bbq and the locals attend the event.

My experience with my partner was not the best at this place... the location is gorgeous yes... the room was tiny and many things seems to be abandoned... not the gardens ... the gardens are wonderful!!

A truly lovely place: gorgeous gardens and a sumptuous interior. Because theres just a few rooms and the owner was on-site and friendly, I felt like I was getting almost a high-end resort experience! (despite it being priced the same as many of the impersonal and far more basic hotels in the area)Some of the little touches I enjoyed included a list written up by the owner of pertinent local events that week, some free snacks in the room when I checked in, an outdoor covered compost bin (food waste bugs me), and an outdoor garden lounging area. I understand that the place also holds a weekly get-together for the gay community, but I had to leave this time before I could attend (an excuse to visit and stay here again? 😉)I should note (and as the website is clear about): the place is LGBTQ+ focused and clothing optional. The first made me feel safe, and the second, while I didnt take advantage of it, made it clear to me that the site was private and comfortable. Its also very close to a clothing optional beach.Very highly recommended. I hope to be able to come back soon!

Matt goes above and beyond. Amazing host, gorgeous nearby beach. Listen to the treefrogs and birds as you sleep. Simply perfection for a Hawaii holiday. Cant recommend enough.

So much fun! Beautiful inside and out. Breathtaking landscape featuring an outdoor shower. Felt at home as soon as we pulled through the gate.

LOVED this oasis and so close to the beach. The owner is amazingly knowledgeable and has provided all the detail amenities you’ll need to enjoy this price of paradise!
