My massage therapist was wonderful! They have options on what area you want to work on and she was very conscious of the level of pressure you want. I felt so relaxed at the end of the session. I am definitely going back.

My husband and I came in for an hour massage because we were totally sore. This place was awesome! My massage therapist took all our knots off. Massage our achy muscles. Wonderful work. ❤️❤️Tipped them $30 & $40 for my husband because his therapist walked on his back. Very good place to go. Clean and beautiful place! 10 stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a worst massage ever, very poor customer service. I left more stress and tense than I did when I came in. The massage therapist kept on talking to each other Throughout our whole session they walking in and out of the room. We were promised to full body massage and facial.Yet they only massaged are back. The facial was horrendous. The lights were left on the whole time and after everything was done they still got a knock on our door twice. Telling us we had to leave because they had other customers. Like what And even though we paid them in full, they bolts stood there. Waiting to see if we would give them a tip..... Please do not go to this massage place. It is just terrible service, and if you want to get hustled for money, this is a perfect place you should go.

I’ve gotten tons of massages and facials, this place has to be the worst I’ve ever gone to. Don’t waste your time or money here. I went in and was supposed to get an hour massage and then an hour facial this did not happen. I was in and out in under an hour and still had to pay full price and tip 20%. I actually left the spa angry and the entire time I was uncomfortable. They were highly unprofessional, leaving the door opened while getting supplies leaving me exposed. I work as a CNA and I’ve GIVEN nice facials than I received. I’ve never written a review before but honestly I just wouldn’t wish this upon anyone especially if you’re more experienced with getting massages and facials. The only person who enjoyed their time most likely did cause it was their first massage. I’m just shocked and very disappointed this was how my vacation ended. Such a shame.

Fantastic experience. It was a bit pricey compared to other Korean spas Ive been to but would still return back on special occasions.Unfortunately the sauna wasnt in service on our visit but did get a small discount as a result. Aside from that the only think I would have preferred was for the cold tub to be much colder.

I’m a 27 year old female and I went in by myself. It was a wonderful experience. I did the 60 minute full body massage and a lovely woman named Seong also provided a facial and foot massage. She used hot rocks on my back as well. Thank you for the massage it was great!

Massages are fairly priced and therapist are really good. I do deep tissue and they find all the knots and tension spots. Would highly recommend. Ive never experienced anything negative.

I went there yesterday and Amanda( Manager/Owner) refused to honor my Groupon coupon. She DOESN’T UNDERSTAND that she agreed to the legal contract with Groupon that she will honor and accept the sold coupons in her business for 120 days from the day they were purchased even after Groupon discontinued to selling them later onotherwise , she is braking the contract and use FALSE and MISLEADING ADVERTISING just to bring customers to her business and than she ask them for cash payment. It’s like using carrot on the stick. Very unprofessional and disrespectful management and lots of frustration for hundreds potential customers. I will file official complain to City of Palm Desert Licensing Board, as well as Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Biuro. To fight human trafficking, they might check the status of all her employees since some of them don’t speak/understand English. It’s a shame to have such an unprofessional business in our beautiful City of Palm Desert.

Omg. I’ve had a lot of massages over the years. Amanda gave me the best one I’ve ever had. She is very active and you actually get more massage per minute from her than most other places. She understands muscle anatomy for a good relaxing massage. I highly recommend Amanda. Thank you!

I was really hoping for a wonderful massage but this did not happen. I received a massage where the lady may have had parkisnsons or similar condition and was very shaky, she could not communicate with me and talked to herself frequently. Left me uncovered when she left the room with the door open while grabbing hot stones more than one time. I’m going through pancreatic cancer and I am unfortunately very thin. I could tell she was concerned and she kept making comments about condition of my body. I went there to escape my daily life but instead was reminded of my condition through out the massage. I know she meant well but it just didn’t sit well. She should keep her comments to herself. Overall it was not good. I did get a survey and the manager Amanda contacted me. She said to come in and get a massage from her instead. I asked if I would receive a credit it of some sort and she said no. I’m afraid to give them a second chance.

Mary gave me one of the best massages Ive had, (hitting all the right points with perfect pressure) and I get them regularly... average once a month. Amanda, the manager, was courteous and professional, as was Mary, the masseuse. Ill be back!

Purchased a Groupon and was excited to go tonight. Called to make an appointment and the woman on the phone said they no longer take Groupon and I could pay cash instead. I bought the Groupon 10 minutes before I called. Absurd that I was told that I’d have to go through the hassle of cancelling my Groupon when yu spa should’ve honored my Groupon since it was purchased same day.

Really poor service. I had an appointment and was 10 minutes early. The person before me was 20 minutes late and we walked in at the same time. They took him back. Then the gal at the front desk took me back to give me my massage. Every time the door opened she left to go deal with whoever came in. Sometimes she was gone for many minutes. After she had me flip over she rushed through my arms and legs. At the end of the massage, after just having come back from being away again, she said, OK, one hour. When I went to pay I saw the apple pay logo on the counter and asked to pay that way. She said, I dont know how to use. Utterly disappointing experience. So sad. I will not be back.

I gave a 10, because of excellence with massages! My boyfriend and I came for our Anniversary for a couples massage. It was FABULOUS!! Both ladies were very professional and great techniques!! Very nice ambiance and VERY CLEAN!! From head to toes, was wonderful😃 they offered fresh cold water afterwards and were very pleasantly cared for. We will be back and I will go back individually. I wish I could leave a 0 star review. They took our reservation and took us back to the room and started our massages. Halfway through the massage, the front desk woman stopped the masseuses and made us get dressed and leave.

Sasha gave a wonderful deep tissue massage and paid special attention to the scalp massage which felt amazing!

Therapist was able to work on some problematic areas for me, lessening my pain and improving my movement.

Amanda is the best masseuse I’ve ever had. She understands how to attack knots, improve flexibility and still be sensitive in areas where I’ve had extensive surgeries. Because of Amanda, I’m more flexible, have virtually eliminated several areas of chronic pain and have less tightness after my intense workouts. I highly recommend Amanda!

I came here after work and was pleasantly surprised they’d fit me in without an appointment. I’ve worked in massage before and I know how difficult the job is. You’re constantly standing and bending over and making others feel better that it can get strenuous on your own body. My masseuse was very professional and made sure I was comfortable and also really knew what she was doing. My neck and shoulders feel great today. I’ll definitely come back.

Yu Spa is very close to where I stay when in Palm Desert. I’ve walked by it several times on my way to the grocery store and finally decided to stop in and try it out. I was very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and quality of the Massage provided along with the very reasonable cost. Maggie was my therapist and she did an excellent job. I will be looking forward to going back again on my next trip to Palm Desert.

My massage was pretty bad. The man just pushed my body around and then pressed his whole body weight on me with his elbow, pretty painful. I signed up as a new customer and was supposed to get $5 off but he charged me the full price. Won’t be going back.

This was hands down the worst experience my friends and I have ever had. This place is so unprofessional and inappropriate. After they took me back they strongly encouraged my daughter to go with the man to get her massage. He was so inappropriate- did not keep her covered, he was rubbing her bare butt, telling my daughter to boss him around , touched her in sexual ways. My daughter is 21 but she looks young- she said she thought about telling him she was a minor so he would stop. She ended up leaving the room in tears.My massage wasnt much better- the woman had my blanket off me the whole time- I felt molested.After we got in the car we realized that all 5 of us had the same experience.That evening my daughters fiancé and my son ( my daughter-in-law was there as well) they went in and asked for them to refund our money, otherwise they were going to pursue it legally. That night the women were very nervous and begged them not to call the police and said money no problem...however they did not refund our money. So my friends husband and I went in last night and still they will not refund our money.So, my daughter and her fiancé have contacted an attorney and this morning we are going to the Palm Desert police department to press charges.Stay far away from this place and trust your gut. I wish we would have

Good prices. Wonderful Chinese massage. I enjoy going to see Amanda every few months. I grew up getting traditional swedish massage and deep tissue when needed. The difference between swedish and Chinese massage is mainly the speed. Swedish is slow and relaxing. Chinese, while still relaxing, is faster.They are great at Yu Spa and attentive to what your body needs. I get hot stone therapy as it really helps relax the tension in your back (but be prepared hot stones). Be aware, they give a real massage! Butt muscles included (thank god). If you arent comfortable being naked then leave your underwear on. And if you arent comfortable getting a full massage, thats information you should share ahead of time.

I love this spa. Every therapist is amazing. Amanda took great care of me today. She removed my stress, and used Chinese cupping to release pain from my sciatic nerve. I give them 10 Stars.

Clean, friendly and affordable... We routinely visit Yu Spa when were in town staying with family. We consistently receive firm, effective massages that knock out knots, aches, and pains. If youre looking for a fancy spa experience, this isnt necessarily your kind of place. If you want a great massage for a fair price in a clean, comfortable environment, Yu Spa is just fine.

I went to Palm Desert for my vacation. During my vacation, I found Yu Spa that was near to my hotel, so I went there to do massage. When I go into the store, I feel comfortable because the place was clean and masseurs were nice. I chose a masseur to do body massage. The masseur was very professional because she know how to use her power to help me relax my body. After massage, my body muscle got release and felt very comfortable. I will come next time when I come here for my vacation again.

I went to the massage today and her name is Song, She’s is so great ,awesome ,I fall sleep on the bed and so relaxing I would go back.

I mean, is it the nicest hole in the wall massage spot ever? Nah. And is it definitely the future site of a happy ending sting operation? Probably. But, if youre looking for a cheap and wonderful foot massage on a moments notice, this is a solid option.

If only i can post pictures i would. I rated them and my picture is on fb review. Cupping left me bruised, sore, unable to sit down. Day 4 and im still in pain and colored. Dont get me wrong, the whole massage was amazing but when it came to cupping; thats where my 1 star comes in. I got asked by girl if it was okay, i said no, if she can losen it up, she said Sorry No English and sucked more air out. Nope. Will not be coming back!!!

The massage was ok, though there are lots of bare hands touches to the butt area, there were thin blankets, but they are not using it at all. Feel a bit uncomfortable. Also, $3 for credit card usage.
