Im glad I chose Desert Serenity for my first float. From the easy online booking of my appointment to the end of the experience I cant say enough how positive and easy everything was. The venue itself is beautiful, peaceful and clean and the staff friendly helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this business and cant wait to go again.

Went in for a deep tissue massage. Both ladies were welcoming and kind. Abigail took GREAT care of me. She was attentive and made sure everything was comfortable for me. She was very personable and professional. I left feeling so relaxed and content. 10/10 recommend! I’ll definitely be back.

I treated my wife to a spa day. She said the float experience was okay, but that the deep tissue massage was spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful. She will be back again.

What an amazing experience! Martha is literally the best. She listened to my areas of concern and was able to focus her efforts on the areas where I hold a lot of tightness and stress. My friends and I were blessed to visit Desert Serenity Float and Spa while in California on a business trip. So glad we took this time for ourselves. The staff were wonderful. I go to one somewhat regularly in Denver, decided while in Palm Desert, Ca working BNP Paribas ATP tennis tournament I would seek one out, saw Desert Serenity Float & Spa online with 5 stars and ... it did not disappoint. As a massage therapist, I can tell the owners took great consideration in the clients wellness and relaxation. I showed up 10 min early and Staff was welcoming and friendly and got me settled in with my intake form and then into the room with clear instructions right on time. The room was clean, organized with towel, vasoline and ear plugs. The music was perfect and having control of lights and music inside the pod was very comforting. Shower off afterwards was relaxing. My nap after was even better and I will be back. Thanks yall! P.s. for the info on the spa, looks like they have room for larger groups, which is a service premium in a bachelor and bachelorette party kind of town. Ill just say this is where you want to go for deep relaxation float in Palm Desert.

Massage by Sabrina was great! Just the right pressure, special foot scrub was very nice! Felt terrific after…she listened and concentrated on my shoulders and back which was much appreciated.

I had a wonderful experience here with my first time floating and first massage. Immediately upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and I felt super comfortable. My floating experience was amazing. Afterwards, I had a Swedish massage with Alyssa and it was fantastic! Not only that, but for days afterwards I just felt so much more relaxed. I definitely recommend this place for your self care needs!

This was my first visit to Desert Serenity and I was very pleased. The spa was decorated well, which created a soothing and peaceful atmosphere. The waiting room where you sat prior to your service was especially nice, with a pleasant smell and a lovely offering of teas, champagne & light snacks. I had a 60 minute Swedish massage with the hand and foot scrub addition, with Therapist Alyssa. She was EXCELLENT with just the right touch, a calm relaxing voice and very professional in her massage technique. She concentrated on my back and neck, as I had requested, and I was very pleased with the outcome. I have been to many spas in the past for massages, and would highly recommend Alyssa and Desert Serenity. A real hidden gem in the Desert! Enjoy!

I had a lovely massage while my husband did a 1hr float. The atmosphere was very calming and the massage table was heated. Cute room you can hang out in before/after your appointment with some light drinks and snacks. A very relaxing experience for both of us!

My SIL and I were looking for a nice place to get a massage without breaking the bank. We decided to try Desert Serenity Float & Spa. I had Isela for my massage and she was GREAT! I get massages regularly and she made sure I was comfortable, and gave attention to my problem areas, even stretching my hips to help loosen the tightness in them. Her pressure was perfect, just firm enough. The spa itself was inviting and cozy. Walking in, the scent of the spa was very pleasant but not overpowering. (Though a little warm and stuffy when first walking in, the temperature was fine while receiving my massage.) The quiet room for preparing for your services was stocked with water, tea, champagne and light snacks. Although the facility was not as big as some of your more luxurious spas, it definitely held its own in comfort, great service and atmosphere. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend them!! Best massage Ive had in a long time, and I have a membership at a chain massage provider.

This place is amazing! I went in with severe neck and shoulder pain and after one visit, felt so much relief. I had been experiencing pain for over a week and had 2 massages elsewhere, but things seemed to be getting worse. The pain got so bad it was giving me headaches and making me nauseous. I was referred to Desert Serenity and explained the situation to the owner, Denise, who was able to get me in the next day and matched me with the perfect therapist, Icela. The staff was super attentive and took their time working out my knots. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.

The float pods at Desert Serenity are clean, quiet, dark and perfect temp water.They offer a small float to hold my head up if I need the extra support.They have great staff always super friendly and helpful.I had 1 float per week for 3 weeks!My next float is 90 min so I can sink in deeper than ever!I get clarity and super power creativity from these Float sessions!Sensory depravation is Soul Satisfying!

I’ve had Multiple failed back surgeries and chronic pain for years, the float pod helps my pain immensely and I will certainly be going back. Lovely, calming and healing ambience with a lovely staff!

Shared a sixty minute float, and 90 minute massage with my wife. First time floaters. A bit interesting, will have to try again now that we know what to expect. Staff was wonderful about getting us ready, etc.Massage therapists were both wonderful and skilled. Didn’t get their names, but both wonderful. Today was my first experience with Desert Serenity Float and Spa as well as with Infrared Sauna. From the first moment stepping into the location, I was impressed with how beautiful and relaxing it was. Isela greeted me and showed me to the sauna, she was friendly and professional. What an incredible experience I had at Desert Serenity Float and Spa. I have heard about floating, but truly could not conceptualize it until I did it. My first time was less than a week ago, they brought me to this private room to shower and with the floating pool. The place was so clean and staff were incredible. I asked questions and they instructed me on what to expect. I entered the pool, laid on my back and just floated. When the soothing music ended, 10 minutes or so, and the room was complete void of light and sound, I just floated, I was weightless as I think being in space would be. I was felt as though I was without my body, just pure consciousness floating through space and time. It was incredible and 1 hour wasnt enough for me. I returned today for a 2 hour session and will repeat it weekly. I have never felt so at peace and relaxed as I do now.

Booked a float and a massage for my birthday, and I will definitely be back! I have never floated before, but hope to make it a more regular part of my life. The staff was professional, kind, and helpful. I left feeling relaxed and well taken care of.

This was my first time at Desert Serenity Float & Spa. So glad I decided to come here for a facial. As soon as you walk into the Spa, it is calming and you immediately begin to relax. Arriving 15 minutes early for my 2pm appointmentwas a good idea. I had a chance to sit in the lounge and relax, turn my phone to mute and wait for Angelica to get me.My facial was very, very good. Angelica has great hands, gentle yet firm. She definitely knows what she is doing!! My skin is quite dry and whatever she did with the lotions and masks and massage made my skin feel so soft and hydrated.I will be coming back for facials with Angelica every time I come to Palm Desert from Los Angeles!!!

My friend and I enjoyed our visit. The place is very calm and relaxing and have all the necessitive before and after a massage. Hairbands, make up mirror, makeup wipes etc. There service was friendly and helpful. We did the 90 minute couples massage, Honey was able to dig into the spots that needed worked. My friend wanted a more relaxing massage but certain areas worked on and Francene was awesome!We def. would come here again and recommend.

First time here and it was an amazing experience. The staff were all friendly. The location was clean inside and out. It was a very relaxing environment. My massage was one of the best massages Ive ever had. I was with two girlfriends and they also had great massages. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it. My masseuse was Paul and if you like medium to deep massages, Paul is the guy for you.

I have been dealing with the worst sciatic pain for 3 weeks! Left me unable to walk correctly, sit comfortably or sleep. I went in to float which was such an amazing peaceful experience. After my float session I got the Swedish massage by Isela. All I have to say is she must have been an angel sent from heaven. I was finally able to walk, sit & sleep after 3 weeks of consistent pain. I have another session with the lovely Isela to combat the last of my sciatic issues however I am no longer in pain, just discomfort. I will continue to visit desert serenity float & spa for as long as I am breathing! I cant not express my gratitude more for this business & the help it has provided me. I enjoyed a 90-minute Swedish massage with a full body scrub today. My therapist (Honey) was lovely, very skilled and did a great job. They have float tanks, and I was skeptical at first as it sounded like it would be claustrophobic, but when they showed them to me after my treatment, I vowed to come back for a float. I visit the desert a few times a year, and Ill be back for sure.

Great float today, staff very accommodating and friendly! Space is clean and post float area for drying hair and etc. I’m from Ontario Canada and found this online and will definitely go back! I would give 4.75! But can’t give 3/4 of a point as system won’t let me Only thing I would change is a small light that comes on inside the float pod when the time is up!

This was my first float, but won’t be my last! The ambiance was welcoming and instantly relaxing. The staff was friendly and professional. Today was my first visit to Desert Serenity, although not my first time floating. The man at the front desk was incredibly helpful & pleasant, & put me at ease as soon as I walked in. They have a restroom & after float lounge, & the float room was spacious, clean, & inviting.The float itself (I did 2 hours) was insanely relaxing & catered to my individual experience (music, lights, pillows, etc). I will definitely return!

I surprised my sister to The Works facial and we both agreed it was the best facial we had ever had. From the ambiance to the esthetically, we couldnt have asked for a better day! I went to the spa for the first-time last week. I received a massage from Paul. I had an excellent all-around experience. The ambiance is beautiful and peaceful.Paul is an excellent massage therapist who was highly skilled in working on the tense areas of my body. I appreciated his sensitivity to applying the perfect amount of pressure during the massage. He was open to feedback and made sure that I had a great massage.I have had over 200 massages in my lifetime and this one was definitely one of the best! I highly recommend their services.

Today was a wonderful experience. My wife and I went in for a couples massage. The pricing was really good, so I expected only a decent massage. The massage and the ambiance of the spa were amazing. The masseuses were exceptional in their practice, not only were the massage great but the advice after really demonstrated their dedication and love of their craft. Amazing!! I started out with an incredible with Nelly. She has magic hands and my face is glowing, im very happy with the results. After the facial, I had a deep tissue massage with Paige. She was also incredible, she found tense spots i didnt even realize I had. They both give quality services!! I am very impressed with Desert Serenity Float and Spa. First time doing anything like this. Visiting Palm Springs on a weekend trip with two other couples and this place was able to accommodate the six of us together. If you want a timeout from the hustle and bustle of life, this one hour escape is great.

My husband and I both scheduled individual floats at the same time on a Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival, the staff seemed rushed and didnt take time to explain the details of the float tank beforehand, or the process afterwards. Several things were not functioning properly, like, the intercom system between the tank and front desk, and the lights in the tanks. My husbands tank light actually stayed on the whole time, making it hard for him to relax. We did receive a discounted rate for his float due to this, so the management did attempt to make it right. Another disappointing feature in the tank was the circulation of water throughout the float. It created a slight current, causing us to bump into the walls of the tank, and creating bubbles, that, again prevented true relaxation. Overall, there was a lack of professionalism and quality in the service, equipment & experience. We will not be back here to float.

Ive now been to this spa twice, once for a sensory deprivation float, and once for a deep tissue massage. The place is very clean, relaxing, and welcoming. I had my first float yesterday...amazing! The facility is calming, clean and friendly. I was greeted and treated like family. The owner Mike has the knack for making you feel comfortable. After a short orientation I was shown to my private room with a shower and the float pod. After showering I entered the float chamber and settled in for my first float. One of the most calming and nurturing experiences of my life. The hour was up in an instant. Next time maybe two hours. I am now a believer. Thanks Mike for making my experience so positive. It is hard to explain a float experience to someone who has not done it. My advice is simple: just DO IT!

Desert Serenity Float and Spa is the ideal spa for relaxation and dropping in to my inner peace. The staff was absolutely lovely, the spa was clean and well maintained. Overall is was magnificent and I would highly recommend to all my friends.

I had a spa gift card and decided to use it here as Ive never tried out a float tank before. If its your first time, the staff members give you a tablet and a set of headphones so that you can watch a video that briefly goes over using a float tank. The facility is clean and each customer is required to shower before and after using the float tanks. Overall, it was a nice experience and Id definitely consider coming here again.

This place was the best!! So kind and friendly and one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Highly recommend starting off in the infrared sauna. Got the cbd oil and hot stone massage, then had a glass of champagne in the relaxation room. Can’t wait to come back!

Icela is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had, relaxing with a deep tissue came out feeling brand new. No more sciatic, plus the facility is very clean with wonderful staff. I’ll keep going to this spa

Staff was great, place was very clean. The serenity float was not for me. The water was supposed to be 98 degrees, it felt chilly. When I would start to relax, I would get acid reflux and felt very nauseous. I had to sit up 3 times and got out once. I had a migraine and was nauseous for 4 days after. 😒

I worked the entire BNP tennis tournament and needed a massage bad. I had been to Desert Serenity for a float before, today got to go in for a couples massage with my longtime friend who drove all the way from San Diego for our massage session. He had Honnee (deeper work) and I had Jena (sports & flow - very relaxing)! As you can see, we are both very happy with the post-massage feels and the ambience is perfect. Awesome Swedish massage!! I have vacationed the last 2 years in Palm Desert and gotten a massage here both times. The massage in 2022 was so good, I returned for a 90 minute one this year.

Finally a massage therapist that listens to me! Most massage therapists are healers, and want to fix any problems they identify, regardless of what their clients request. I indulge in massage for relaxation only. I always request a super light touch. And inevitably most therapists find a knot and cannot resist the urge to work at it. This is the first therapist I have had that not only listened to me, but checked in regularly to make sure the pressure was ok. Super easy to get to, super easy parking. Relaxed environment. And open on Saturdays and Sundays! I will definitely be back.

This spa is by far the best I’ve ever been to! It’s clean, smells amazing right as you walk in! Everyone was friendly offered me champagne, hot tea, and snacks as I waited for my float ! After my float I got a deep tissue massage it was by far the best! I’m definitely coming back!

It was a pleasant experience from the booking (with Denise) to checking in and the treatments (shout out to Nelly my esthetician)! They worked to accommodate our group so we could be in and out the same time. It was my first time to get microdermabrasion and she showed me the difference between half my face and I was surprised, though subtle, the other half without the dead skin looked really good. I’ve missed being pampered because of the pandemic and this was a great way to get back into it. This is a gem in the desert! I will definitely be back the next time we are here.

This was my first time at the Desert Serenity Float and Spa and it was the definition of zen. My brother and I went in for the infrared sauna which was incredible but we both also had a facial to start. I almost fell asleep. “The Works” is next level amazing. Massage, microdermabrasion, different masks....unreal. Highly recommend!! We will 100% be coming back!!

Best facial of my life, and I have had them all around the world. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars, was because when I went to pay, they automatically included a 20% tip. It should be at my own discretion as to how much to tip according to the level of satisfaction I have. Had I not been TOLD what to tip, I probably would have tipped more. Its unfortunate.

I went here with 3 of my good friends. Appointment process was smooth. Able to accommodate all 4 of at the same time for 90 mins massage and 30 mins facial. Place was clean and relaxing. Only recommendation is to keep the temperature inside a little more cooler. It was warm, and I was sweating. Lol!

If you have never had a float before, you might be a little intimidated, but Im here to say, dont be and try it out. Imagine you are floating in space, or weightless like in scuba diving, and theres a peace and quiet (once you calm your mind). The temperature is perfect, let your body relax, you just float, the water holds you up. Do some breathing exercises to relax. Use the time to feel all the curious sensations your body makes. Watch how delightfully your mind likes to flit from thing to thing. Or delve deep into the connected emptiness/shunyata and realize how you are just a nub of the ultimate. Or maybe you just want to chill out and get away from reality for an hour.Whether you go deep or float on the surface, youll leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and maybe a little more creative. I personally like to pair it with a massage. Spend an hour out of my body and then an hour getting back into my body. No drugs needed for this sublime experience. Wont you try it?(PS. This is the only non-grocery store/home depot place I have gone during covid - the place is spotless, they really stagger the appointments and I only ever see/interact with 2 people. Its the safe kind of luxury we all need right now.)

Stopped by during business hours to check this place out as there are a lot of sketchy “spas” around. Door was locked and no one answers the phone. Odd way to run a spa.
