I’m glad I listened to the earlier reviews and booked Jamie. I’ve been looking for a hair stylist for months and I never seem to find the right person. Jamie was great! Great sense of humor and great conversationalist. I have really long hair and he really took the time to listen to what I wanted, gave great advice, and gave me a great haircut with long layers. We even discussed future coloring options for my hair. You can definitely see he has a passion for what he does and spends time to make sure your hair is even and the layers flow well. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Got a super short notice appointment made with Jamie and had a dream of a fresh bob in mind. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Jamie with a warm hug - like we’d been old friends! He welcomed me back to his station and we got down to business about what my hair goals were. I told him I wanted a bob and he got right to work! Throughout my entire appointment we had great conversations about life, love, and everything in between. It might’ve even been a bit like a therapy appointment for both of us! I told Jamie all about my meet cute with my wife and in turn he told me about his 30+ years of experience doing hair and even told me why it was such a passion career for him. By the end of my appointment, not only did I have the cutest haircut that exceeded my expectations, but I also felt like I had a new friend!I can’t say enough good things about Jamie and Studio M. I recommend him to anyone who asks! Definitely make an appointment with him! I know I’ll be going back soon!!

Just had a excellent haircut and blow-dry from Jamie Gleason. Hes done my hair previously and always does a very consistent great cut with nice layers and movement. Does great color too. Very experienced and professional demeanor. Nice and extremely clean salon. I will be back again and again. Thanks Jaimie!

Blond ALERT!!My long hair was such a mess I had been contemplating cutting it short. I hated the color and texture and everything about it. Priscilla listened to my frustration and I walked out with still long beautiful hair with some layers to frame my face and such body its amazing. This is the first time in YEARS Ive gotten the blond color I wanted, and she nailed it perfectly. I like it so much I went to the DMV the next day and got a new license photo. (on my birthday - who would voluntarily go to the DMV on their b-day? Thats how much I liked it)She sent me home with some great products to keep it healthy and happy until my next visit because Im never letting anyone else touch it!Thank you Priscilla!!

This is a wonderful & delightful place “Studio M Salon & Spa”! I Started with a manicure & a pedicure which was fantastic, then I had met with a senior stylist he added highlights & trimmed my hair. All services were excellent as well as the staff.

Quincy (not sure in the spelling!!) was an amazing makeup artist it felt like spa treatment and i really felt beautiful walking out of the salon and got so many compliments at my brother’s wedding. Highly recommend!

Always get great service, the best manicure and pedicure. My nails keep their shape, color, and skin stays soft.

I highly recommend Priscilla for color application and blow dry. She is friendly, attentive and doesnt make you feel rushed throughout your service. Went in to have my hair colored. My hair is a dark brown and I wanted it all grey to match my beard. Was there for over 2 hours. Ended up walking out of there with blondish/orange hair. When I got home I took my clippers and buzzed my entire head. Now I’m waiting for my hair to grow out. Just a horrible experience. Needless to say I will never go there again.

So glad to have Jamie back in town. Nobody can cut my hair the the way he does!💇‍♀️

I got an Express Keratin treatment here from Terri and she was absolutely incredible. It was so fast (in comparison to the 5+ hrs treatments Ive done in the past) and my hair looks amazing. Terri is lovely to talk to and did an incredible job. Ive been on the hunt for a new hairstylist and if youre reading this, you need to request Terri. The Studio M Salon is beautiful, clean, and a great environment. HIGHLY recommend!

Stylist Mark did a fabulous job on my mid length long hair. I loved his gentle touch and knowledgeability. I love the way my color, cut, and style turned out. I was nervous going to a new person, but Mark allayed my fears, was easy to talk to, and he stayed right within the confines of what I wanted, while still giving his honest opinion.I was greeted genuinely and warmly by Brian at the front desk.Owner Jarrod does a skillful job at getting just the right professional people for the salon.Overall, coming to the salon was a great experience for me. I walked out looking fantastic and feeling nice and relaxed and pampered well!

From booking our appointment to checking out, Studio M was professional, accommodating and just what we were looking for. Our therapists were knowledgeable and thorough. The only disappointment is that we dont live in the area to take advantage the great service more often.

Studio M was able to schedule me in at very short notice, ~ 3 hours in ahead of appointment. Needed a good neck massage to relieve some pandemic strain that I’ve had for about two years. The therapist had strong hands and I felt a million times better when she was done. 5* for convenience. 5* for the massage. 5* for getting me in so quickly. Highly recommend Studio M!

Ive been to Palm Springs several times in the past 2 years with each visit falling more in love with the city and the services it offers. Now I can add spa treatments to the list! If you are looking for the best service in a relaxed environment, Studio M is the place for you. From beginning to end, the experience was amazing. Today I received the best manicure and pedicure ever. I dont make that statement so easy as I have severe psoriasis which comes along with its own insecurities; however, today that was not the case. Natalie made me feel comfortable and assured that it would be a great experience and that it was. I would recommend Natalie and the entire Studio M family to anyone.

I love Studio M Salon & Spa! The team is highly trained and the products used are top of the line. I got the most amazing pedicure from Steven this morning.... my toes and feet look beautiful again! (and the foot/leg massage was so relaxing) The perfect start to a wonderful day!

I visited my dear friend in Palm Springs this October. My friend took me to Studio M where I was pampered by the wonderful staff. Nicole gave me an exceptional hair style which Ive never had before and I simply love it! Jarod has a wonderful location with great parking and easy access. The highlight of of my visit at Studio M was with Natalie who gave me the best manicure and pedicure that Ive ever had! I truly had a great great experience and highly recommend Studio M and want to send my sincere thanks to everyone!

There were three of us from out of town that wanted to have a spa experience at the same time. One for a massage and two for facials. We called many places but the only one that could accommodate us on short notice was Studio M Salon and Spa. We were pleased with every aspect of the experience. From the initial phone call to check in. We were treated in a very professional manner. Each one of us had the experience we had hoped. We were able to relax and enjoy.😊

Hmmm....while I like Udo as a hairstylist, this salon requires you to give your credit card number to hold your reservation. Why? Hate it when places do this and there is no reason for it. If people dont show.....well....thats just a part of doing business. And if you dont provide services, dont think you can charge my credit card. This is the first time Ive been asked to provide my credit card info. so I am very unhappy.

I would recommend pedicure with Raquel and a lovely wash cut style with Cole. It has been over 5 years for my poor feet and Raquel didnt judge me :)Very gentle and not a pushy sales person. Cole made my tattered locks look amazing with a great cut. I feel that he took the time to look at my hair before the cut even started. He totally wanted to communicate about what he was doing and making sure I was ok with that. Thanks again, will return again.

I called last minute and they were able to shuffle things around and get me into a salon chair less than 2 hours later. I had the pleasure of meeting Micheal for my haircut. I walked in with a ponytail and a vague idea of a short cut I had in mind. Micheal was inspired by the few pictures I showed him and went to town. My unruly mane is now a cute curly whimsical bob. Highly recommended, thank you for the excellent service!

My wife loves this salon, and the service she receives is top notch. We drive 2 hrs to visit Udo. He is the finest technician we have found, a true master of his craft. He knows how, why and when to take the best care of his clients and he explains why its done that way. Highly recommend Studio M.

This was the best decision of my entire life. I booked a spa package with cupping/massage, facial, mani and pedi. I am midway through my pedi as I type, but holy cow every single person here has magic hands. I can take a deep breath for the first time in months. Magical, highly recommend!

Ive had my hair cut by Miguel and Nicole and both are fantastic! They listen and make sure you are getting exactly what you want in your hair cut. Ive also visited the spa for a manicure (Natalie was awesome), facial and massage, and all were great. Great, clean, relaxing environment, too. Definitely the nicest hair salon and spa in Palm Springs!

I was really excited to find this salon so close to home. I’ve been to see Udo five times in three months and I’ve appreciated his sense of humor and attention to detail. I tip well, I show up on time and I’ve seen him for two haircuts, two foils and a Brazilian blowout.Today when I showed up for my foil he wasn’t his normal cheerful self. He was rushed, he seemed annoyed when I said I’d like to talk about a warmer blonde color, he barely spoke and worked fast. Then he asked me to move chairs, offered me water and never brought it, and proceeded to leave foils on my hair for 50 minutes while he cut someone else’s hair, chatted him up, washed his hair and gave him a much more attentive and pleasant service than I received.Then he turned his attention back to me and ironically this visit took almost an hour longer than my last foil with him. The foils were left on twice as long and my hair is much darker than I asked for or expected it to be.I’m not sure why he was double booked, but a little communication and respect for a loyal clients time goes a long way. I’ll find a new salon that will offer that.

I LOVE my stylist! And always feel loved.Their prices are a bit high and even if you ask for a trim, you get charges for a full cut. So while Im growing my hair out I may have to skip returning.

Make an appointment with Jeffery TODAY, it will be the best decision you ever made, really! I sat in Jeffrey’s chair today. I, like you, have sat too many times before a well intentioned designer, only to, stand up and think, “maybe it’s the lighting, it will look better after a wash, maybe I didn’t communicate well enough….” and pay my bill 😞. This day was different, the universe sent me to Jeffery because after 67 fabulous years I deserved to love my hair. Guess what, today I do! Thank you

I cannot say enough good things about Studio M. I had a facial by Mallory and my hair cut and colored by Miguel. I also got a 90 minute massage. I cant remember the massage therapists name but she was also excellent. Studio M has a very relaxing ambiance, and all the staff seems eager to help make your visit a memorable. I dont get to visit Palm Springs as often as Id like, but when I do come Im definitely going to make Studio M one of my must visit locations.

It’s been a while that I haven’t gone to Studio M and it was the only hair salon I used to like. After going back again it seems their prices are now overpriced for what they did for my hair. There was one guy I spoke too over the phone he works at the front desk. I didn’t get his name but has blue hair and wears eye glasses I was over charged and spoke to him asking him why I got over charged? And he was so rude over the phone talking over me while I was talking to him to try to figure out why I was getting that extra charge, which they charged me for when I wasn’t even aware of it. He has no customer service skills, no professionalism, and getting annoyed with me, because I was upset the fact that they didn’t communicate that to me. For me to find out after I paid that I was overcharged isn’t okay!! I don’t know if I would go back there and it makes me sad, because I used to like Studio M and now I don’t know if I do anymore. After the experience I had there today.

I just had the best pedicure I’ve ever had with Raquel at Studio M. It was a gel pedi. She really cleaned up my feet and then gave a great massage. I will definitely go back to her whenever I’m in Palm Springs. Thanks Raquel!

VERY DISAPPOINTING. I took a friend to Studio M Salon and Spa. I got a massage. She got a cut and color.Although the staff was extremely nice, the services were over priced.The message was $99 per hour ($79 with June discount) the masseuse was nice and did a great job on my problem areas, but the price was not commensurate with the service.My friend was quoted $100 for a cut and color, but in the end (without being advised), she was charged $275 and the service was not exactly what she requested.There are other places with equally as good service at much better prices.

This place is definitely a hidden gem... This place is very inviting, staff is very welcoming. I had an appointment and they took me right away. This place has a vibe like no other very relaxing right when u walk in.... Natalie was my mani/pedi tech. shes AMAZING ... She took her time and made me feel so comfortable and offered me a drink which I did take a glass of wine... This place is a must . They do everything nails, hair, facials, and messages etc. I am now a customer 4 life!!! Very pleased with their service. Highly recommended...!!!!

I had a manicure done here and my nail polish started to come off the next day. The prices are extremely high. I thought it would be a great place to come since it has so many great reviews but apparently not.

We came for our bridal party and salon was able to accommodate all of us ladies with all of our requests. Raquel gives a lovely mani and Christine treated me with the easiest gentlest waxing, it was actually relaxing! Both of them and everyone else are so so nice!

Expensive and horrible. I wouldnt mind paying if I walked out with great hair. Instead I walked out with dated layers and hair colour that was three shades too dark. I returned the following week to have them correct the colour, and walked out with a colour that was even darker. Im still growing out the layers, it will probably take 6 months to grow out this hack job. My haircut is a super dated style and my hair type definitely wasnt taken into consideration. I dont want to single anyone out but I did see an experienced stylist. Clearly this salon needs to send their stylists for some up to date training. In the mean time, I have to walk around embarrassed by this hair:(

I just had the BEST experience at Studio M today! They are genuinely nice and not stuffy like some spas are. Philip Hines was a master at eliminating all the tension in my neck, back and shoulders. Very strong and accomodating to my specific tight areas. And Kim Nguyen spent a lot of time on my mani and pedicure, meticulously fixing my neglected feet, then massaging my arms and legs. You MUST go to Studio M the next time you want to feel like a queen! You will love them!!

Udo is as talented as he he warm and welcoming. Im so very happy I found this place during our stay in the area. I may have to fly back from Vancouver in a few months just for a fresh do! Thank you Udo!

They called 2 min. before my appointment time to cancel the appointment (I was in the parking lot). I needed cut and style to be perfect as I had a TV interview that afternoon. They did not give me enough advance notice to get an appointment anywhere else and I wasted 40 minutes round trip drive time on a very important day. They did no offer to have another stylist take the appointment, said everyone was sick.On a side note, it was my first appointment there and they made sure to take my credit card number to secure the appointment. Wonder what would have happened if I was the no show instead of the stylist?Needless to say, I will not return or recommend this place to anyone else. Do not count on them if you have an important event.

My pedicure with Kim was very relaxing and professionally done. They have a great product line and excellent choice of colors. Baxter was dressed for the holiday! Staff is friendly and welcoming.

What a hidden treasure. I did not expect such luxury and attention to detail when I cold called this salon for a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. But voila - what a nice surprise. I had better treatment at this Palm Springs Studio M Salon than I have had at some of the larger, much pricier spas. My goodness what a treat! Dont skip by this jewel in the desert; youll be happy you chose them.

Do NOT go here! Specially for eyelash extensions!!! This place is so OVERPRICED. I made an appointment a day before my wedding for eyelash extensions, when I got there I had to wait a few minutes because the staff was taking pictures, which was no big deal to me. It took her longer than 1 hour to finish. When she was done putting the extensions on I looked in the mirror and she had only done half of my eyes!!! I do not have eyelashes at all so it looked really weird to only have lashes on the outter half of my eyes! When I told her to add more to the inner portion of my eye she made a face and looked bothered. This were supposed to be individual lash extensions but she put a band of eyelashes on the inner portion where lashes were missing to finish faster because she had another client waiting. I was pissed! I got there early and she made me wait to take pictures! She only did half of my eyelashes and gets mad for me asking her to finish and does a terrible job because she had another client waiting! Are u kidding me?! On top of all that my extensions started to come off that same night! I had to glue them on with eyelash glue THE DAY OF MY WEDDING! The next day most of them were gone. I wish I would have gotten her name but I did not want to go back even to ask. Needless to say I’m never going back.

Fantastic! Great owners! Great services! The best part: Theyre open 7 days a week! A lady friend flew in on Sunday and needed a pedicure. Studio M was the only place in town that was open! Thats Palm Springs for ya! Local business owners complain about business but everyone closes on Sunday! DUMB! But not Salon M. And they were slammin! GREAT PLACE TO BOOT! Thank you!

Ammmmaaazzziiiinnnng. Do yourself a favor, ignore the petty bad reviews and give this place a go. You will not regret it. Every service Ive had here from head to tail has been a dream. Recently, Cole gave my hair the best coloring it has ever received. We all know as brunettes, the idea of highlights is terrifying. Mostly because we end up like circus tents. Cole has made me a convert. In one process my fifty shades of red was a beautiful chocolate brown and the highlights just made my hair BAM! Very natural and added so mich depth. Ive never felt better in my own hair. Brent gave me the best hair cut Ive ever had and Cole brought it to life with stunning color!

Amazing services! They offer homecare for you to take the salon and spa experience home. Priori changed my skin for the better, and I use kerastase and their vegan skincare line SpaRitual daily. I highly recommend having a massage and facials here. I miss you all so much! Cant wait to visit again!

Dated hairstyle. I asked for Hollywood curls and got something frizzy and very dated. He didnt bother moving the loose hairs from my forehead saying the makeup artist will do it. In all the photos my hair looks messy with hair on my forehead. The hairstylist was very friendly however he did a poor job.

I got my roots done because my hair is coloured purple and on the top of my roots you can see brown so I thought I could get it fix but I was wrong it took three tries and the third try my roots are now red with dark purple and other places of my hair or black dark purple its not even close to the purple in my hair I was there 1 to 5 it took the whole day
