The food is good, with some caveats. The calamari app was the best thing on the table. Three of us ordered steaks, and none of them were cooked as ordered. The presentations were fine, and the mushroom cream sauce on the Surf and Turf special was great. Everything else was just okay. The service was slightly inattentive, but not worth complaining. But its sometimes a little jarring why you get hit with the 20% service charge for large parties, after having mediocre service. The place turns into a night club after 9:00, so expect to have to shout your conversations. Overall, it was fine, but there are plenty of better places to eat downtown.
Some food was good and atmosphere was great. The garlic bread was burnt, crab cake was good, the cheese pizza, fried ravioli, and the seafood pasta were all yummy. They charged a standard 20% service charge for a 3-person table with one person being a kid and also want you to give an additional tip on top of that. Its very sneaky for a restaurant to do that without informing ahead of time so I found it unethical. But its Christmas eve and I bet everyone working there would rather be spending time with family instead.
The food was OK.We only had apetizers, the scampy shrimp were lacking a little flavor, and we also had a new special devil shrimp that we tried and It just tastes like marinera sauce nothing devil about it, the third appetizer we had was the fried calamary and honestly Ive had better we you order something fried the expectation is that it will be crispy and it was soggy.I love crab cakes, which they have on the menu and did not order because the server very honestly said that they werent the best,I appreciate the honesty! The food came out fast, but then we didnt see our server until we asked for the check.I honestly dont believe there is anything else for me to try there, so we will not be coming back, it wasnt for us.
Okay Lets start positive things first.. the service is great from the host and the waitress the atmosphere is great maybe the music is too loud and annoying some point. But the food is a disaster really the worst crab cake no flavor could have been anything deep fried. The pasta all watering and need some real salt! The beef fajitas was alright but looks more like a giant burrito the flavor was alright nothing wow. Best luck
Dont let the empty patio fool you, its just cold outside. Tucked away indoors behind the taco joint is a magnificent eatery with Spanish rock pop establishing the ambience. From the moment we went over the house specials with server Alex to the moment the last drop of bottomless champagne was drained away, the service, the draft beer, and signature dishes did not disappoint. The titular Antigua seafood linguini was great, and so is the mango tuna tartar. The surf and turf was well balanced as well with the mushroom cream sauce to the perfectly medium rare Angus steak. Lastly, the lounging couch in the washroom corridor was also a nice touch. Would visit again.
Service was on point, guacamole, fajitas and margaritas were good but the pizza was not artisanal. You dont need to be Italian to understand that they will be better at Dominos (you can tell by the topping and the dough). I was expecting more from an artisanal or so-called fresh pizza.A bad point also on the very high noise level in the restaurant.
Came her this past Friday night and sat on patio. It was pretty dead due to Coachella which was great for us. We were seated right away. They had some music playing. Fire pit was lit. The atmosphere is great. Our server was THE BEST. Very attentive and friendly. We decided to go with apps and drinks. We had the shrimp scampi, wings, ceviche, calamari. First off the shrimp scampi..OMG it was the best! I would suggest they serve it with garlic bread to soak up that sauce. If there was garlic bread it would just raise it up even higher. The calamari was average, its good but Ive had better. Ceviche was good but it was missing something..needs shrimp, maybe some spice? The wings were really good. I thought they were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Beer selection for hubby who likes Hazy IPAS was sparse but he survived. In laws had a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Didnt hear any complaints. I started with the watermelon margarita which was sooo good, then our amazing waiter let me know they were BOGO so I had a cucumber margarita next. It was also very good but my favorite was the watermelon. It wasnt too sweet and I loved the chamoy around the edge. I will definitely be back. Service is key and they nailed it
Chicken Tequila I ordered was just sour and unpleasant to eat. Mango Margarita was good, was bummed because I wanted to try the Honeydew Marg shown in the Restaurant previous drinks. Music was a bit too loud inside. Theyll automatically charge a 20% Service charge to the bill. Tried my Gfs Chicken Alfredo which was good.Im not a poor tipper, but when its automatically charged, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth even worse than the Chicken Tequila dish did🥴 Wouldnt bother coming back here.
Why does the steak come cut in slices? It gets cold very quickly. The ravioli is good but way too less (6 pieces) for the price of $18. Still hungry which should not be the case after a main course.Atmosphere would be great if the music wasnt so load that you can hardly understand each other.
Dined here with my wife this spring. Great location and large outdoor space. Not the place for a great dinner. “Artisanal” pizza was decently pricey but tasted like cheap frozen pizza. Went around 8pm and it looked like it was about to transition to a club. That might be fun if you’re into it. Decent service, outdoor music was kind of loud. There were two bachelorette parties seated near us.
We are a group of 11 people from 3 families. When we sat down, we asked if we could get three separate bills since there are 3 families, the waiter said no. Thats fine, we thought we can do the math and split the bill later ourselves. This is our friends gathering from two states, the music was really loud, we couldnt have conversations. The food was average, nothing special. At the end, we had to wait a long time for the waiter to get the bill. When paying the bill, we noticed the 20% tip was already added, which is fine, i understand many places add tip for a big group. My friend paid with his credit card, then we send him money for our portion. Then a few days later, my friend told us he saw from credit card statement that the restaurant added additional 20% group charge! Are you kidding me? how could you charge without customers authentication? There are so many restaurants on that street, go somewhere else!
Margarita was good/okay but you could only get 2 for 1 deal as one person…no sharing, huh? Kids meals were huge. Wedge salad was okay, fajitas were okay. Meh. Server was very nice. Good people watching.
Really like the street side atmosphere. The burger was perfectly cooked and prepared, tasted superb. My wife’s salad was extremely fresh. Great beer selection and friendly staff. Main entrance located on S. Palm Canyon, sushi restaurant located on Tahquitz. Confusing on google maps.
Cocktails were good, the location is perfect. Your food, however, would need to be on a way higher level. We started with appetizers and did not even finish them - decided to go elsewhere and have our dinner.
Heres a tip- make sure you do not accept reservations if you are not going to be open! Update your hours and days of operation. I drove from another state for a birthday brunch and planned out to have brunch at your restaurant. You even confirmed my reservation! To my shock, you are closed. I would have been happy to know this ahead of time to plan accordingly. Cant comment on food, but service and your operational organization is awful.
Environment was nice. Food was okay. Biggest complaint: Was here for a networking event for business (multiple businesses). The place refused to do individuals checks and was unclear of other payment policies.
If I could give this Antigua no stars I would. The host was friendly but it took a server 10 minutes to acknowledge us. The food was horrible. I ordered fajitas it was a few pieces of horrible beef strips and vegetables covered in marinara sauce with rice on a spinach wrap. The pizza my friend ordered reminded me of our frozen school pizza days. The chicken wrap was stuffed with iceberg lettuce and a few cubes of chicken. The manager did remove the chicken wrap from the bill to be fair. It was overpriced frozen food. I will never eat here again.
Good service, but the food needs work. We ordered fajitas, and while the veggies and chicken tasted good, it came plopped on a spinach wrap with rice and nothing else. Drinks were average. Music was too loud. But, our server was truly great, and we had fun despite it all :)
I’ll start with the best part of the place, the atmosphere. Oh, and the young man who was not our waiter but kept our drinks full and table cleared even though the place was pretty empty. Seems our waiter didn’t have time. It also seems our waiter forgot to mention that “fajitas” aren’t even really fajitas. $25 for steak fajitas. Did you expect tortilla shells? Don’t, that’s an additional charge. How about sour cream, quac, or salsa. Nope, that’s also extra. All you’re gonna get is overcooked beef and veggies and bland rice. The Marguerita Pizza was very lackluster. I wish I would’ve thought to take a pic of the food. This place is 2 stars, at best. Over-priced, even for this town. Spend your money elsewhere.
We ate brunch and enjoyed the live DJ. The food was all very good and for a first timer will definitely be back. Cocktails are amazing and staff was super friendly!
Fresh, delicious food! We shared the garden pasta and the Antigua chopped salad and it qas more than enough for the both of us. Great service, pleasant ambience. We also had the bottomless champagne for $10 a price hard to beat. Dog friendly you should give it a taste if in Palm Springs! We will be back next trip! 😁
I am new to the area, and this place has been consistent with the high quality of the food and drink. I watched the bartender check to my glass several times before making my drink. Cleanliness is next to godliness. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. I was very happy with the service and I will be back on a Friday Saturday or Sunday. Because l know that my favorite bartender Saúl will be there!
This was my first time at Antigua. The decor has not changed much since it was a Japanese restaurant, but it is still very comfortable and pleasant. It was certainly spotlessly clean. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The food was nice, tasty, well prepared and plated. There were not may patrons there, but they have tons of seating in/out. People who are downtown should give it a try. The prices are not too expensive for a tourist town, which was refreshing.
The avocado and hummus appetizers were ok, but overly pricey for the portion size. The staff was friendly but service was extremely slow (was able to get only 2 drinks in over 2 hours). The calamari are literal rubber. The chop salad was decent, but a chop salad is pretty hard to mess up. Others were not happy with their dishes such as the shrimp rose and lobster ravioli. Overall, the price charged is not justified at all by the lack of quality. There are significantly better establishments in close proximity in the same price point.
I had ordered some food to go since i passed through this city when heading back home to San Diego. The Fettuccine Alfredo was flavorless and full of oil however i do appreciate the abundance of cheese. The calamari was actually good, well fried and no presence of sogginess. The onion rings and fries were O.K.the caesar salad was as good as the store bought salad at my local supermarket.I paid about 50 dollars and expected flavor.
Waited 10 minutes after sitting and literally had to stop a waiter to take our order....you would think for a place that takes reservations they would provide better service. Never coming back to this horrible place
We happened across this new Palm Springs gem. It is a different take on Mediterranean Cuisine.Family owned and staffed by family, you can depend on quality meals and prompt, friendly service. They are happy to make substitutions at no extra charge and even accommodate requests. I ordered a cocktail and requested my own recipe and received a perfect drink to my specifications! We four ordered completely different style entrees and shared a cornucopia of amazing delights!Dont miss this fabulous new restaurant in Downtown Palm Springs! You wont be disappointed!
Food was good, but they automatic put a service charge of 20% on the bill. No matter if you where happy with the service or not.Music was a bit to loud for diner. But maybe some like it, so no star less because of that fact.
Just came in off the strip of Palm Springs for a drink and bite to eat. I enjoyed the outdoor dinning experience by the fire pit most of all. The drinks where served well. The food was very good. Id suggest the Prawns off tje appetizer menu. Till next time
Excellent food, wonderful wait staff. We sat outside in the patio area and it was fabulous. Wonderful breeze, music was just the right level for conversation. Great company, great service, great food, what more could you ask for?
The food was great, very delicious with wide selection of burgers, pizza, pasta, different meats, great salads and service was super face and amazing! Great place to eat!!
Best Service the food was delectable ambiance was great . Sat outdoors and enjoyed every bite and every moment cant wait to return.
Shrimp rose was salty, calamari was over fried. Ill try this place again maybe it was an off day. Also they include tip automatically and there are no adjustments you can make. They call it a service charge. Ive been charged automatic service charge at the JW for massages but this aint no JW and certainly not worth it
Everything is perfect. We ordered 5 sets of pasta and ordered some extra bread to dip in pasta sauce. This was the best pasta for a price of 16 dollars. Everything is organized and clean. Love it
We stopped in and sat outside. The food was delicious so we shared a wedge, I had scampi and my bride had clams linguini. Cocktail were good. We would come back
Stopped in here for a late dinner with no expectations. Food was great as was the service. The only negative was the singer on the street corner which was competing with the music in the bar. Was hard to listen to at times.
I ordered the Paella. Typically Paella takes a long time to cook because is rice based. I was impressed by how quickly it got to me. The dish was well seasoned and had a fair amount of mussels
Awesome margaritas, excellent service, gas station quality pizzas. This place has all the potential, and maybe their other menu items knock it out of the park, but the pizza tastes worse than reheated freezer pizza.
Found a bone in my food and all the waiter could tell me is all the chicken comes pre cut and frozen...which I cant blame him l..if its not fresh I guess I just have to deal with it. Still paid full.....trash...
Great people watching, great music from the street. Too loud when seated for dinner. Basically had to yell any conversation that was to be had. Food is mediocre and overpriced. No misting system for those hot summer nights
We brought 4 pretty girls to the bar. They charged them. Girls don’t even get charged in Vegas or LA. Wild right? Yeah
Food was good. Was able to make a reservation. Our waiter was up selling us hard on our drink choices, though.
The wings were ok. Crispy on the outside, a bit soft and soggy inside. The rest tasted no better than a Applebees. Edible but not worth the price.
I had to chuckle at Cajun Ahi tuna, but our lunch and drinks were very good. Just dont expect the tuna to be Cajun as no Cajun dish I have ever had had a balsamic glaze :-)
Italian restaurant best in town. We got there as it opened, 5 pm. After that, it was at least a 30 to 45 min wait.
Bad business practices!! Winner of RUDEST MANAGER award. We paid with a voucher purchased pre-covid. Manager objected; certificate clearly said expires in 5 years & the counter-offer was 50%. Hell no. Followed by screaming.Eat elsewhere. Really.E A T. E L S E W H E R E !!!
Great patio and food. Staff was friendly. I would recommend this restaurant for casual dinner. I think the food for pretty good value for the cost, especially in Palm Springs.
This place is a must try if you are visiting Palm Springs. The food is beyond delicious. They have really good cocktails and the service is great.
Visited this restaurant based on the review ratings. Such a disappointmentGreat Location, Great Vibe, But..The service was terrible. Flavorless salads and main dishes.
Food tasted good. The waiting time was reasonable. Service was good. They included tips in the check without asking if thats ok. That was not ok.
We were staying at the Hilton for a conference. Were got out later and had a light dinner here. Has a great salad and great service.
Best spot for food, definitely choose this spot compared to whatever else is around. The chicken Alfredo was amazing along with their Krispy ravioli.
Went with a group of 10 people and in 2.5 hours we only received our appetizer and soup. Table was never bused. We cancelled the entrees and left.
It was Halloween and super fun. We had apps and cocktails. Appetizers are excellant and they poured a good drink.
Very tasty thin crust pizza and also good wrap. Outdoor seating very pleasant when its only 80.
The food is gud and nice hospatality service the service is gud and quickly by charan Tq so muchIt’s so gud place to visit & ambince
Beautiful scenery, fun music, amazing food and fast service!

Tasty chicken fajitas, large varied menu. Indoor and outdoor seating. Full bar.
Well strolled in about 10:00 p.m, had a chicken quesadilla and a Greek salad with salmon oh my God it was delicious!
Cant understand why this place was empty! The food was amazing and the drinks strong. Will definitely be back!
Excellent service, exceptional variety on the menu. Fun for Sunday brunch.
A bar with no No bartender should be the name for this place. They try hard to not sell drinks. What a place. If you dont want drinks, come to this bar.
Perfect service and good food at a great location on the main drag through downtown Palm Springs.
Worst guacamole I ever had, small amount, tasteless, over priced.
Very attentive waitress. Friendly staff. Quick service and fun environment 😎
Grate food we love it I come here with my husband every week and we absolutely love it.
$16.99 for literally 6-8 raviolis...Was ready for dinner, after dinner.
