Drag bingo was entertaining as expected. Closest thing Pensacola has to Dave n Busters but not as fun, but its fun. Gets pretty tight on busy nights

Bartender with thinning ponytail was upset to be working and made atmosphere tense, bar merch is fire and games are cool just be sure to leave exactly at 2 am and blonde bartender was amazing and personable will be coming back for HER.

Always a fun time. Bartenders are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Big shout out to Kami for drink recommendations. Wish they had a few more stand up arcades.

I really have a great time coming out to Drag Bingo on Wednesdays❤️.. Host Moet DaVinci is the goat and she keeps the crowd very entertained!! Love the atmosphere, the game and the people there!! The music be lit 🔥 and great performances!

This place used to be fun. Not anymore. Super cramped. They closed the hangout room for private parties. Only like 3 of their games work. Floors were so unbelievably sticky, your shoes sound like velcro every time you take a step. They have bouncer at the door to card you, then the bartender cards you every single drink after(my gf and I are 25)?? I’d say if you’re planning on bar hopping just opt this place out.

It is a very good place to hang out specifically if you like games and karaoke. Love that place.

Nice little barcade. Staff is wonderful, drinks are reasonable, and the games are on the nostalgic/vintage side (with the pros and cons that implies -- but Id honestly have it no other way). I think most of us have stepped into a place at one point or another that tries to emulate the authentic feel Play naturally has: the friendly atmosphere, the impression that these games have been lovingly maintained as opposed to your more soulless just throw it away and get a new one places... Even the fact that you have to climb the stairs (or take the elevator) to access the place helps mentally separate you from the busy main thoroughfare downtown and create its own environment.Its just really nice.

I really enjoyed the dirty bingo last week so today I said let me go again. My first night there I know I spent at least $30 tipping the bartender.... So tonight I get there buymy first drink the bartender said $6.50 I give her $10 she was nice go back to the bar to buy a drink for a friend I pay with my debit card I put on the receipt no tip with a zero with a slash thru the middle because I know I was going to get another drink and I was going to give her a cash tip so when I order the two shots she says are you going to tip me this time I say maam I just gave you a cash tip for my first drink you dont know what I was about to give you.. I have been a bartender for 20+ years and I always put a slash on my zeros because the bartender can always go back and write their own tip so I get mad and say you know what dont even worry about my drink and proceeds to walk out.... A professional would never say what she said Im not obligated to give you anything but working in the industry for 20+ years I know.... Plus cash is always better she blocked it I was going to give her $20 but her words blocked it. I was going to come back next week with 5 good tippers with me but I dont even think I will be back. And I always tip more than what im spending...

Dirty Bingo with Moet is soooo fun!! The way she interacts with the crowd and bartenders is so refreshing. Decent variety of games and drink specials. Needed to be about 15 degrees cooler in there to not break a sweat and all the games could use a cleaning. Overall fun place.

To whom it may concern, just recently I started coming back to this place on Wednesday nights for the drag bingo and when I tell you that new host named Moet DaVinci is something special. She is the best that they ever had and her special guests that she has each week I love but not more than her lol. She is a keeper and I tell everyone about her. She also promotes each week which is a plus. I follow her on all platforms. Moet Davinci is a breath of fresh air, real as they come, raw and uncut. And as long as she is there me my friends and family will always come.

The miss maam that is here on Sunday is just a sweetheart, like genuinely made me feel welcome in a straight bar,witch for a little gay guy, i appreciate so varry much.

Play Purge party for halloween. Play is always a great bar to hang out at. An adult arcade with all the fun games. Old school arcade games, ski ball, air hockey, and shooting games.

Some of the bartenders were nice. Others were being ignorant & ignoring customers who were there for people they knew one of the bartenders also kicked my husband out because his ex walked in & she knew her. Mind you we had already spent about 100$ at the bar. Very rude of her. The floor was super disgusting & sticky & smelled . Half the games were broke.

I love this bar!! Went here on my 21st birthday and to my suprise they had drag queen bingo!! They gave me free drinks all night (for my 21st) won prizes and got coupons. Bar tenders were so nice :) the games were fun!! It’s like if Dave and busters but a way cooler dive bar.

This bartender was very rude to me and my friends . she didn’t want to serve us it was giving very much racist and unprofessional. we didn’t do anything wrong. We asked for a drink and she said no she is no longer serving for what reason I don’t know . she had a attitude since we sat down at the bar. Will not be returning even though I loved play .

So much fun! Free shuffle board and the rest of the games are quarters. I think the most we payed was about $2 for a hunting game. Great drinks and some good music. We went on a Sunday night, so it was not as busy. Im sure if you go on Friday or Sat there is a long wait time for some games.

Good bar to go to for good drinks and they have some games there like: Air Hockey, skeeball, mini basketball games. Arcade games and there is one bartender who can make one of the best pixie stick shot or greentea shot Ive ever had and her name is Kat! The best bar tender around!

I gave play two stars because last time I went it smelled of alcohol B O and throw up. Drinks were spilled everywhere. When you walk through the place you shoes stick to the floor like you walking on one of those sticky rodent traps. It wasnt just in one area it was the whole place. lots of the machines were broken this place is a very small venue and its always slam-packed with a younger crowd. good concept, but I would like to see this place a little more cleaner and classier.

I like the concept of this place, and the events are fun, but Ive had a bad experience consistently with some (usually one in particular) of the bartenders. I guess its just an unfriendly personality, but I get ignored for 20+ minutes waiting to order another drink in a next to empty bar. I used to be a regular here but after coming here so much and having the same mediocre to bad interaction, It will be a rare occurrence if I come back.

The drinks are great and the games are fun!However, they certainly dont limit the amount of people in the building or encourage mask usage. Its pretty sketchy at this point in COVID times..4 star because, while i dont expect patrons to mask up while drinking, i feel it was a bit much for the bouncers or bartenders to not have any either..

Bar is cute, but pinball machines need a little love. The airhockey game stuck some. Bartender was nice and the drink prices were decent.

Like a Chuck-E-Cheese and a gas station bathroom had a baby and that baby barfed all over itself.-Sticky floors-Dirty/sticky/broken games-Weak drinksOh and then also my credit card was double-charged so that was just the icing on the cake. I tried to call/email multiple times to fix the situation. They don’t answer their phones and they don’t answer emails despite listing their contact info on their website. I had to contact my bank and report the second charge as fraud.This place doesn’t deserve a second chance.

I went downtown with some friends after a graduation. Some of us were going to drink and others not. We decided that Play would be a good place to fit that balance. It has some retro games like pinball, house of the dead, terminator, air hockey, Foosball, basketball, and a few more. The place itself isnt too big, but its got some cool stuff there. They had a live DJ there when we went too so the music was going the whole time. Im not a drinker myself, but I enjoyed hanging out with friends and beating them at all the games!

Probably my favorite Downtown Pensacola bar! Plenty to do and great specials during the week. Some of your favorite arcade games, plus bar favorites like pool and darts, and even some board games for those who are short a few extra quarters! The staff are always pleasant and keep the drinks flowing without making you wait like some other bars downtown. Definitely a great place to hang out for hours on end.

All the games I played were broken or somehow didnt work right. The House of the Dead game wouldnt let us play two player and wouldnt read the coins I put in. The air hockey table doesnt blow air hard enough to move the disc so it constantly got stuck in the middle of the board, the skee ball machine didnt work and the pool table wouldnt drop all the balls after putting money in. When I addressed the issue of the air hockey table with the waitress and asked for a refund she said no, youre still playing the game even though we had to repeatedly stop the game to try and move the disc to an area where there was good air flow. Im positive they are aware their machines dont function properly, but they dont care. Their staff werent interested in mitigating the MULTIPLE problems we encountered and their games are much more expensive then other game bars Ive been to. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I certainly will not be going back.

Such a cool bar with arcade games like NBA hoops (basketball) and skee ball. Daily drink deals and even karaoke night every week. They play great music and is a really fun place to hang out. I come at leave once or twice a week.

Fun bar to go hangout at! Kind of hard to find at first but once you do youll find yourself coming back!! You can usually find a spot at the bar pretty easily, there is a ton of games to play from air hockey, pinball, pool, skee ball, etc. They make the drinks well, and have awesome bartenders that provide great service. It is dimly lit inside but it adds to the old arcade feel. The bathrooms sometimes have quite a line so dont crack the seal!

I used to love this place but they just continuously are going downhill. They bartenders are always amazing but it seems like they do zero maintenance on the games. If its breaking they just let it die and if its already broken they just let it sit there and take up space.I get the machines are costly but thats the whole point of the establishment, fix them.

Play is one of the best local hangouts in downtown Pensacola. It has the fun arcade feel of when your were a kid, but, no kids. A smoke free and clean environment makes it a great place to meet with friends, an after dinner drink, or even a laid back date night with someone special. The staff is always consistent with drinks and Ive always been served in a timely manner. One of my favorite spots to be when Im downtown!

I went on Thursday, March 7 and arrived around 7:30pm with my date. It was slow until around 9:30pm when it suddenly got crowded. There are alot of old arcade machines but not alot of the famous/semi-famous arcade games. There were also quite a few Terminator games that I wish they could replace with Centipede or Asteroids. We still managed to have a fun time. I give it 3 stars due to the game selections. The staff of the night get 4 stars. Thank you ladies. 😊

Walked to the bar (where three people were sitting with drinks) and waited to be served, only to never be acknowledged. Paid a $4 ATM fee only for the change machine to be broken. Left.

This is seriously the most fun Ive had in years and it was a Tuesday night! Perfect millenial bar with awesome gaming, great staff and drinks! Cant recommend this place enough!

As a visitor from Savannah, I consider myself fluent in bar culture. Everyone from the bar staff, to the bingo announcer, to the karaoke guy and the locals were all super friendly and it made me feel like a big kid who could play games and still adult in the worst of ways lol. A+ on all fronts, Id suggest this bar to anyone looking for a good time in Pensacola off season or in!

They need a better system to allow you to acquire quarters, honestly. Other than that, the drink specials are great, and the bar itself is pretty nice. Very laid back environment.

Da Bears! Upstairs watch the Bears games with some of the best fans this side of Soldiers Field. The owner and his staff, make sure everyone is having a good time, the bartenders are attentive and well suggest a glass of water before your next drink.

Play is the best place to go with friends and enjoy some games whilst drinking. The bartenders are amazing and very friendly. the atmosphere is great and Tuesday karaoke is the best with Krazy George.

For an arcade bar they really need to better prioritize the upkeep of their game cabinets and make sure the coin machine is filled and, at least, functional because the bartenders seem (understandably) very annoyed if you ever have to talk to them about any of this.

Never had a good experience here, the bartenders are rude and act like they’ve never been in the service industry before. Just a bar with overpriced, lackluster drinks, there are plenty of places in Pensacola I’d rather go to with better service and better drinks. The only redeeming factor is the games.

Not really what I expected. Went there a night to have fun with the wife, half of the arcade machines were broken, lots of inadequate language by others and bartenders. Not a friendly atmosphere. Oh they were out of change and their change machine wasnt working. Didnt try the food.

The only bar-cade in downtown Pensacola. If you like good drinks (try their King Koopa specialty drink) and arcade games then this is the place to go to. They have various events throughout the week as well. Such as, Karaoke Night, Skee-ball League Night (with free prizes), Ladies Night, and many others. Great bartending staff as well. Highly recommended.

I was coming up the stairs and the security guard was really rude and cussing at me and my friend we heard about the place and wanted to come see it sort of a big guy no facial hair and said you fers not coming in here

Cool place but literally was stuck to the floors, my GF had both her shoes ruined because the floor was so sticky. Like it hasnt been mopped in weeks.

One of my favorite downtown spots because bartenders are hospitable & friendly, great liquor selection, fun photobooth that takes awesome pics, always a fun time whether listening to great music or watching sports or playing arcade games!

I go here all the time I always get their signature drink the king koopa I have several of the take home mugs in my house can get a bit over crowded but the skee ball is fun and free

Love Brandon the DJ and Katrina the mixologist. They are great at their arts, fun and outstanding service agents. I frequent Play because of them.

Play Pensacola is the only place thats a Barcade in the area meaning you can go there and get your bar drinks and play Arcade games that are retrofitted from the 1990s area its a great place to go and chill listen to good DJs and hang out its not a nightclub so theres not a lot of dancing space but its a place to go and hang out and have a great time the staff is friendly they very efficient at what they do and its a nice spot just to hang out with your group of friends and listen to great music

Its okay. The drinks are priced well. They have a dozen or so run down machines. Its a fun place to hang out.

Busted version of Dave & Busters. So excited to try it out... So disappointed. Drinks were watered down, over priced. Half the games were out, the stairway was poorly lit... Some poor drunk girl just about broke her neck coming down as I went up.

Essentially it’s a bar that has a few old arcade games. Not great as far as an arcade goes. The pinball machines were not working well and the cabinet games were old and in need of some TLC. If you’re looking for an arcade, look elsewhere.

Theyll have you believe that this is some sort of arcade and bar, but its just a bar with REALLY cheap game machines; ones Im sure nobody has ever heard of. Its a cool idea, but its executed very poorly.

Worst bar tenders. So rude. Kicked everyone out an hour before closing because they didn’t want to be at work anymore. We paid for a game and they made us leave before we could finish
