Massage Envy

Ive been consistently blown away by how amazing this massage envy is. I would have thought a chain would not be such caliber. Lea, Willie , Josema are incredible. Ive also noticed a big improvement on all of the front desk people. They are kind and greet us with such respect and connection.

I have been part of the massage envy membership program for many years and for the last 2 years, I have visited the Ahwatukee location. Today, I met with a new therapist, Ivan. I have to say that Ivan is one of the very best masseuse I have ever encountered. Ivan makes you feel comfortable and does an excellent job of making sure he is working on the areas where you need the most relief! By the way, their new therapy lotion is the best!

Ivan is the best! This location is great, I was seeing Ivan at Goodyear and I knew Id be making the drive 40 minutes from home to get a massage with him when he transferred. Hes super knowledgeable and creates such a relaxing environment. Highly recommend!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! They are great until you want to cancel. I have been trying to cancel my membership for several days now and have been given misinformation and false promises. I was told that I needed to speak to a lead to cancel. Two days later, finally got in touch with a lead and she informed me that leads are not allowed to cancel memberships and it could take up to ten (10) days to have a manger contact me. I can cancel a credit card and gym membership with one phone call but to cancel this membership at THIS location requires, several days, several phone calls, several text message exchanges, an email to corporate (who stated only the franchisee can cancel a membership), employees with no authority to act on the best interest of the client, and an absentee manager. This is poor customer service and appears to be a fraudulent scheme in order to keep clients attached to a membership they no longer want.

Who doesn’t love a firm back rub to get the kinks out. I’ve used many of the therapists at Ahwatukee and I’ve been happy with all. Go get your rub on.

Massage suggested by back doctor. Did 1 hour massage + 1/2 hr stretch with Lou. Amazing results!

5-star review specifically for Landan. Ive called many times and spoken to multiple people about my membership and issues Ive been having and no one was helpful. Landan was so helpful didnt cause anymore issues for me and helped me out exactly how I needed (and others have been saying isnt possible).

David did an Outstanding job on my massage!! Jackie did a Fantastic job on my moms facial. Carla is an Amazing Manager and her customer service was Outstanding as well. Madelyn and her coworker at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. The smiles and greetings from everyone was so inviting and nice to see!! What an Awesome Team at the Ray Road location!! Been visiting Massage Envy Ahwatukee location for a year now. You can use the HSA here. I took the membership which cost me 75$ per session every month for 60min session. You can upgrade to 90min by paying the difference (113$ 90min) or utilizing extra credit sessions if you have. Scheduling is very easy over the call, as the front staff is super helpful and attentive. Every 60 min sessions include 10min consultation and 50min massage. Earlier I used to try different therapist for every session, and then I finally found Felisha! She is amazing and does an excellent job and I would highly recommend her for full body.

I had an amazing massage Willie she is so amazing! I had a shoulder pain and after massage I felt great! She explained everything! I highly recommend Willie!

The reception staff is always alert and welcoming. The spa reception room is always maintained peaceful and calm. So far I have treatment from Willie and Lee, both are excellent. Suggestion: Place a door knob blocker on the bathroom doors. They swing too fast and hit wall very loudly. Overall great team service. Thank you

JANELLE is beyond amazing. I always feel like my body hits a reset button after she works on me.She is attentive, professional and a great communicator throughout the session. You can tell she is passionate about what she does because she listens to my needs and always hits the mark. I highly recommend her, especially for 90 minutes!

I havent had a massage in over 2yrs.Melissa was amazing in regards to listening to what my needs were and provided a truly fantastic relaxing massage,She was professional, knowledgeable and fun to talk to! I highly recommend booking with her, as I shall in future! Massage Envy is wonderful

My normal massage therapist I use down where I live in Maricopa was not available and I needed a deep pressure massage badly to work out the knots in my neck and shoulders so I attempted to come to Massage Envy. This was the worst experience I have ever had!While getting my massage the hallways were very noisy!The therapist I had was horrible. I asked for deep pressure and if your going to charge the amount of money for a 90min deep pressure massage that you do then you should ensure the therapist you align with your client meets that!My therapist’s breath smelled like onions so I would recommend a breath mint or gum!The therapist shouldn’t start conversation with client until client talks. My therapist started talking to me the moment he sat down and continued for the entire 90 min.The therapist asked me before session started what I wanted him to work on and I clearly said “above the waist..back, shoulders and neck. After attempting to use his fist in a circle motion on the top of my shoulders applying no pressure he moved to my legs and pulled the sheets back. I stopped him and said, “I said above the waist..I don’t need my legs done”. He mentioned that when I walked in he could tell my legs were tight and just wanted to stretch them really quick. My recommendation is that you ask the client first since that wasn’t the area she wanted you touching BEFORE moving the sheet back and ask for permission! I felt he did this just to waste time because he didn’t want to spend 90 min on my upper body.The pressure was not of a massage..it was of a stretch with minimal pressure at all! Not once were his fingers used to massage!I paid twice as much for a 90 min massage then I do with my normal massage therapist and sadly my massage gun at home would have done a better job then what I went through at my session.I could tell that massage therapy was not his passion and it showed in the work that was done.

Ive been a member here for over a year until I canceled last week. The providers never take you back on time during your scheduled appointment. Theyre always around 10 minutes late bringing you to the room, wait 6-8 minutes for you to undress, and finish 8 minutes prior to your end time. Yet still charge for a 60 minute massage. Their contract states a 60 minute massage, allowing for 10 minutes for consult and dress/undress time. Thats 50 minutes. It always ends up being 35-40 minutes of actual massage time. Not to mention, I was informed that their membership fee is increasing to $75 a month, from $65. More money for the same service? No thanks

I loved David!! He was amazing!!!! It was my birthday and he made my day by helping me relax as he worked out all my aches and pains!! Also, the manager working the front desk was super friendly and made my experience that much better! We as consumers have a choice on where we get out massages! I love this location because of how they treat me! It’s not just a massage, its a personalized massage to ensure we the customers have an amazing experience and leave feeling super refreshed!

David is easily one of the best massage therapists in the business. He takes his craft seriously, understands the muscles of the body and listens to his customers. He factors in many individual considerations in order to make sure you are relieved and relaxed after your massage. I honestly wanted to be selfish and not write this because I didn’t want to have to compete for time on his calendar (haha!) but truthfully when someone is just so good at what they do, you want to see them continue to succeed. He’s hard working, dedicated to his craft and committed to his customers well being. Completely deserves the 5 star rating.

If I can rate a negative star I would. I signed up for a membership with the goal in mind to get a massage every month because my friends insisted I start self-care because I am a single mother of a special needs child. At first, I lived in Litchfield Park, so the closet location was Goodyear. I signed up for the membership BUT each time I tried to book a massage, they NEVER could found time slots that worked with my schedule. From Nov. 2021-Nov. 2022, I had three massages. What a waste of money! In the fall, I moved to Ahwatukee. My membership was up in November, and in order to cancel, I had to go back to my original location (Goodyear) to fill out the cancelation form. I made a trip to Goodyear, and they told me that I had to pay through Dec. WTH After I was billed in December, the manager at the Goodyear location said I had 6 credits to use. After the new year, I called the new location closest to me, Ahwatukee, to try to book a massage. NOPE. Again no luck finding an appointment. Booked like the entire month of January, and the soonest they could get me in was Jan. 31 for a time that worked for me. The receptionist told me it would cost me 2 credits. I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances out of my control, I had to cancel today and I would be charged the cancelation fee. I didnt want to cancel, I wanted to reschedule. Thats when I learned my credits expired YESTERDAY. WTH, I made a payment in Dec, so why would I be charged when I am still within the 60 day window (well, thats what I thought). Without luck again, they were unable to find a time to reschedule, nothing open that worked with my schedule, so I was forced to cancel. When I tried to reschedule, I asked how much was a massage, and she told me $75. But when I called, she told me I would be charged half of $120. How is that fair? How was it my fault that I could not get a massage booked before my credits expired. They should have disclosed that. when I booked my massage. I would have NEVER booked. LIARS Then to top it off, the receptionist tried to run my card WITHOUT my permission. WHO DOES THAT? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service promised broken! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE membership promises broken. LIARS. Massage Envy sucks!!

I had the pleasure of getting service from Willardina Willie and she was absolutely wonderful! The pressure level was perfect and I was so relaxed, I fell asleep twice. I workout 3-4 times a week so getting such a great massage was needed. I will be booking with her again for sure.

With this massage I missed 30 minutes of it because of the lateness of the therapist. The massage felt like she was angry and slapping me around. She only did part of my body within the hour and the pressure was not appropriate. I was told ahead of time that she would be able to give me firm pressure and when I asked for my firm pressure, she said she would do her best.

Willardina is fantastic.I had a frozen shoulder. The doctor stated I would need surgery. Went to 3 months of physical therapy (2x a week) no change. Just after my first visit with Willie my arm felt better. Now we are a couple months in and I have almost all my range of motion back and no pain. So no surgery for me. Yay!!!

My massage professional, Katie, is phenomenal. She is attentive and knowledgeable about why certain areas were sore and gave suggestions on how to promote pain relief outside of regular massages as well. You can tell that she cares about her work and the well-being of her clients.The front office staff is awesome as well. They are quick to check you in and make sure that you are booked for your next visit. This location also takes proper measures to minimize COVID risks.I will be back at this location for many more sessions.

My massage itself was excellent. Lea was great at her job. I had called twice beforehand to make sure that gratuity was included on my gift card, and both times read off the card number and was assured that both the HOUR long massage and a tip was on the card. The massage was exactly 44 minutes, I checked the digital clock on the wall. She came in at 11:16- 16 minutes late. When I checked out at the front, the lady told me twice there was NO gratuity on the gift card. I was disappointed at the customer service, and my massage was certainly not 60 minute. I had no cash for a tip since I had been told multiple times that there was enough.

I booked an appointment for 10/18/20. Upon checking in I was told that Lauren was running late. The lady at the front desk could have been more welcoming. I like genuine and welcoming customer service. Not dry nor exaggerated fake. I guess some people are just not meant for customer service or they shouldnt work at a place theyre not happy with. My massage started at 1:12pm and Finished at 1:58pm .When done I wasnt offered water like most places do. Massage was ok. Ive definitely had better and Ive also had worst.

The front staff is very friendly and attentive.Jen V. is a fantastic therapist and she was able to work out all the knots and spasms in my back causing me terrible discomfort all night and day. I’d recommend her to anyone who has musculoskeletal spasms that are difficult to remove. She is really experienced and her expertise shows.

Very corporate feeling compared to other spas. I have paid less for a more relaxing and pampering experience.Waiting room very sterile, I have been to spas with cushy couches and fireplaces where you have a drink menu and a complimentary hand or foot massage while waiting. This felt like a doctor office.The music was broken and therapist waited until I was undressed and on the table to let me know, stating I could use music on my phone if I wanted. I was coming to relax, as if I wanted to listen to my notifications the whole massage I would have stayed home.Sheets were scratchy and room was cold, I had to ask to have the heating pad turned on, which is basic to warming up muscles for massage work.Massage was okay but not memorable. I have had other therapists have a water ready and waiting for me after exiting the room, and did not get that at this experience nor see water anywhere to help myself.Was asked to sign up for their monthly membership program, not for that kind of experience.

Josema was very professional and attentive. I really enjoyed my massage 💆‍♀️Brooke is my favorite! She is so much fun and very knowledgeable about her craft. I feel so beautiful every time she gives me a facial. My skin looks so healthy and young since I have been seeing her since last year!

Sean has been my go-to guy for over a year now. I like that he is familiar with me and my body, so can recognize how to accommodate specific areas. He is professional, friendly and an excellent healer.I have had massages from a half dozen therapists, but Sean has been my favorite so far.I am always pleasantly surprised at the great reminders and follow-up with the staff.My only complaint(?) is that I can’t stay there all day.

David was just the therapist I needed to see. He listened carefully and interpreted my hopes into actions. My muscles were stretched, kneaded and smoothed with firm but comfortable strokes. I left feeling brand new and woke up the next day feeling relaxed and happy. Great massage, awesome therapist.

Massage Envy Ahwatukee.I want to have massage with Lee. Less than impressed. She did the same thing over and over again - for example - running her forearm down my back. She did it at least 15 times. I finally had to ask her to stop because it started to hurt. I asked her to work on a specific area at least 5 times and she would not. She went on to say how she has a specific routine and only does that.It was a very frustrating massage. She would rub my body but not use her fingers to work the muscles. OK, I think Ive made my point.

Front desk and management staff has always been friendly and very helpful in scheduling appointments. Willy is a terrific deep massage therapist who has kept my wife and I limber for years. She is a wonderful person who will tailor your session to whatever your specific needs are that day. Would give her 6 stars if I could!

Edit from my original post. Always amazing. Best massage you’ll get is with Willie! I’ve been a client for prob 8-9 years now. 5 stars is strictly for her.Now, let’s talk about their office manager, Angela. She is newer I’m told. She is rough around the edges and she is so rude to her front desk staff. I witnessed it when I went in to buy a gift card. The owners need to address this with her. No employee should be treated the way she talks to them.

I have been an a customer of Massage Envy since it began. I went for a massage and w was told they were bought out and no longer honor people that have been grandfathered in and to add on an extra half hour is $33 for members and $44 for non members. Where I used to pay $14.50. There was no communication that they were changing their prices and I went in thinking I get an hour and half massage for what I always paid and was quite shocked to here I either pay $33 or use a half of one of my monthly massages. That they are raising the prices on everyone.

I got a one hour massage. I have fibromyalgia and my massage therapist was very attentive and accommodating. She made sure the bed was heated, towels were hot and comfortable, pressure was therapeutic but not painful and had a great conversation with laughter. Highly recommend. Definitely going back

My tech was Marie I had a 90 minute massage and one of the best I have ever had. I dont live in Phx. but everything I go to Phoenix my Sister always treats me to a massage. I have never had a bad experience with Massage Envy. At any of the three locations that I have been to.

By far the best massage I have ever gotten! David is the best and can’t wait for my next massage. Highly recommend David if you have a lot of tightness in your back. I definitely felt more mobile after the massage! Thanks David!

This was probably the best massage I’ve had in ages! Sandra was professional, friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire massage. Definitely recommend her and will be returning for sure!

I love this massage envy. I’ve been coming here for years.. I recently stopped coming because I was pregnant, but now that I’ve had the baby I’m back like I never left. I am now seeing David for my massages. He has been great, applying the right type of pressure for all of the knots in my body, I leave the table feeling refreshed and relaxed!

This is the second time I attend this particular franchise, and both times I was left majorly disappointed. The first time I arrived to my massage, and am told on the spot, it was canceled, the therapist wasn’t feeling well and was sent home earlier that day. They failed to call me and inform me of the cancellation nor did they try to reschedule me with another therapist. They gave me a promotional massage to make up for their mistake, so I go to take advantage of this massage. They tell me to arrive 10 minutes early, I arrived 15 min just in case they wanted to pull another trick on me. The therapist was 15 minutes late taking me back for a 50 min massage and assured me she would make it up for me. The massage ended and she ended it at the time it was intended assuming she had been on time. Never ever, ever go to this particular franchise. They are very unprofessional and disrespectful of their clients’ time, and only concerned with taking their money!

Lexie deserves 10 stars! She was AMAZING!!! She is thorough, thoughtful and one of the best massage therapists I have ever been fortunate enough to cross paths with. After only one session, she made enormous progress on a chronic pinched nerve I have in my neck and was able to relieve much of the pain and immobility. I recommend Lexie highly and would give her 10 stars if I could!!!

Jen V was awesome for RTR! I couldnt move my head/neck when I went in and could when I left the 30 minute session. Miracle! Yes, I said it!Brooke is always the best for facials, especially dealing with my skin allergies!Thanks for the necessary and relaxing day!

In all honesty, I was initially very concerned about going to any new massage parlor as my ex girlfriend used to be a rather good massage therapist. But ever since we broke up i have been looking for a new place and there is no question, I have ABSOLUTELY found it. The staff was so incredibly friendly and the pricing was very fair. Lovely and welcoming atmosphere, even compared to other massage envies that I have been to. I highly recommend going to this specific location even if you have to go out of your way. Wonderful experience all around.

Ive been a member for years and go to this location often. Ive seen several therapists there and have never been disappointed. Most often I see Francisca. She is very skilled and has helped me with some issues Ive had in my hip. The facility is well maintained and the front desk staff is always courteous and helpful.

To celebrate my daughters birthday with her today, I scheduled a 60 min. massage for the both of us; we were placed with Gladys and Melissa and the massages was amazing. All the staff was friendly and we will definitely be going back. I fully recommend this location for an awesome and relaxing experience.

The place is very clean. The staff us ultra friendly and I cant speak about the rest of their masseuses, but Lexi and Sean do a wonderful job. Did a couples massage on Valentines and it was phenomenal. Lexi delivered the best massage this 52 year old has had to date. We left and felt wonderful. Deffinately on our regular schedule now.

Willard, David, Jennifer were my past M.E. therapist and I enjoyed them all. I love coming here because of peace and healing. I am always on my feet and looking for a place to relieve tension. They helped me pull that all out. I always go for 1 1/2 because Im a busy mom of three and work with young children. Its always been rewarding and worth it 👌 I always come out of this place feeling refreshed and energized again.

Im a new member and so far Ive loved coming to Massage Envy in Ahwatukee. The front desk staff and massage therapist Ive work with has been amazing. My only feedback would be that it seems that undress/dress and evaluation time is included in the 60 or 90 minutes that should only be massage time. All the other places Ive gone to the massage therapist states the time they start the massage now and they go for the full amount of time you pay for the massage. So, really my 90 minute was more like 75. So, the price for what I am getting is pretty steep. Hopefully this feedback will be heard!

Front office workers are not the best. That needs improvement. I called to reschedule my appointment and they told me a day and time for the bew appointment and supposibly they had already cancelled my appointment. Turns out she never rescheduled it, she forgot to put it in the system. So the day the old appoinment has been scheduled from the beginning, I receive a call letting me know that since I didnt show up to my appointment, I was going to be charged for it. It took a while for the manager to go around and ask all the workers to see who had taken the call. Luckily, someone did admit they did receive that call but never changed anything on the system because she was busy at the moment and forgot to do so later. So I had to reschedule once again. Also since a credit was transferred to me for that appointmnet, for some reason they charged me twice because it didnt show that first transaction they had made for the $10 fee. It was a really bad experience. Massage was great though. Sandra was great.

Having only received a few professional massages in my life I was a bit apprehensive about making an appointment with someone I dont know at a place Ive never been. I was experiencing a lot of pain in my back, however and the price could not be beat here. So, I decided to give it a try. I was amazed! Everyone there could not have been nicer. The massage therapist even spent an extra 10 minutes reviewing my health concerns and areas of focus. It was honestly a great purchase. I will definitely go back again!

Janelle was great as always, but the new rule about wearing mask during a session is the worst one ever!I couldnt even get relaxed and felt horrible thinking about a mask. I had stopped my session and canceled a membership.Had lost two prepaid sessions!This place had been my favorite for a few years, but now I really disappointed!Nobody wears a mask even in the lobby, but they force to wear it during session, when only two of us and therapist has it on. Where is the logic???

I got a gift certificate from Massage Envy from a friend for 2 massages. Both were heavenly and therapists were top notch. Quiet rooms, hot towels and wonderful front desk staff completed the picture. Decided to become a member as well as get an appointment for my husband.

Francisca is the best! I’ve been a client of hers for many many years now! The reminders and calendar emails are great and check in is easy even with new pandemic protocols. I have no complaints and look forward to at least 1 session a month!

I absolutely love the variety of inexpensive add-ons that you can get to customize your massage at Massage Envy. If you havent tried it you have to try rapid tension relief. Excellent and extremely therapeutic bodywork if you like a deeper pressure massage. Ive never had anything work so effectively at relieving tension in my IT band and other areas of my body even receiving regular massages. Definitely enjoying my membership and the added benefits and discounts.

Just joined about 2 months ago. Have been very impressed by both the front desk personnel and the facility overall. My therapist is absolutely outstanding!! Am already feeling a positive change in some of the chronic pain areas of this 57-year-old body! I highly recommend this Ahwatukee location.

My massage therapist was great but the service at this location is terrible. I waited for 10 mins after my scheduled appointment time before taken into the room. Then after the massage, I stood in line for 10 mins before I was helped by the receptionist to check out. The receptionist totally ignored me while I was standing there.

Sean is the best therapist! He asks questions to understand my goal of the treatment and is very responsive to input. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness and serenity of the office.

Marie was amazing! She gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. I will definitely book another massage with Marie soon!

I had a great 90 minute massage. Therapist was very attentive to problem areas and I left feeling better than I arrived. I actually cancelled an upcoming massage to rebook with my therapist from yesterday.

I had an appointment for the Rapid Tension Relief and Jen V. was awesome. My muscles felt relaxed and loose for the areas of focus once she was done. I cant wait for my next session. Thanks Jen!

Josema was attentive to my needs and customized my 90 minutes massage. I tried the Rapid Release Tool. He knows how to use this device. Great experience. I would definitely recommend his service if you need medium too deep pressure.

Tried to book an appointment and the receptionist, Maureen, was so incredibly rude I just decided to go somewhere else after spending 15 minutes on the phone trying to book an appointment. Every year my husband buys me a membership here for Mothers Day and I really wish he just wouldnt. I rarely have a decent experience here and usually it ALWAYS stems from the front desk. They do have talented therapists, but complete idiots working the front making it difficult to use the expensive membership. Get it together people!

David gives me a good deep tissue massage every time. David’s pleasant personality makes my experience the best each time I am there. I go to ME because of David.

Have experienced several massage therapists at this point and all have provided great service. It can be a little difficult to get in if you have a tight schedule like I do, so be prepared to wait a week or two for an appointment unless your schedule is quite flexible.

Marie is a knowledgeable therapist! Her deep tissue massage is phenomenal. She is caring, kind and attentive. I always feel better after my sessions with her.

Bad experience! After waiting 15 minutes for my scheduled appointment to begin I was informed that my therapist was not available. I was told that my next session would be comped due to the inconvenience. My session was then rescheduled for the following day with a different therapist. The next morning I received a call to advise me that my rescheduled session needed to be once again rescheduled as my therapist was once again unavailable. I have been to many massage envy locations in the past and have never experienced this. I informed the person on the phone to just forget it and he quickly obliged without even simple apology or a meager have a good day. After reading other reviews for this location, it appears that this practice of canceling appointments is quite common at this location.

At this Massage Envy in Ahwatukee, the therapist who continues to be the ultimate best for me is Josema! He is truly gifted as a massage therapist and human being. Hes been an angelic miracle in my life thanks to his healing massages. His deep tissue techniques are the epitome of perfection. I’ve had massages at top notch spas (Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe, Hotel Del Coronado, and a Maui resort) and Josema’s skills/massages, without question, top them all! He’s extremely professional and kind as well. I’m so grateful to have found him 7-8 years ago.

Fantastic! Kayla was very attentive and I enjoyed every minute of my massage. Husband bought me a gift card for a 1 hour massage with a gift certificate for free enhanced therapy. Peppermint and Rosemary is the way to go! The only regret I have is not trying a facial or sugar foot scrub also. If I wasnt moving across country in a few days, I would definitely participate in their membership program. I guess I will be looking for another massage envy by my new place!

Best massage envy. Very down to earth staff. Friendly and helpful. I LOVE my therapist. They have some of the best therapist located here my favorite by far is Nicole I dont know what I would do without her. Well I do and that would be cry. She is absolutely amazing. Nicole is really good with people that need therapy for sports related injuries ,deep tissue and chronic issues .She really knows how to get in there and get to the root of the problem .She is very conscious of you at all times. She remembers everything , takes great notes in the chart.She is always Pleasant and has a smile. If you need a therapist that can do it all shes the one. but I would say her biggest specialty is for anybody that needs somebody thats not afraid to get in there and do pressure point .and it may be a little painful cuz shes got to get those knots and that junk out of there, but she gets it out of there and you feel so much better afterwards . if thats what youre looking for she is the best person for you. But the girl can also rub you down with no pain and make you feel so relaxed you would literally fall asleep and start to snore. I invite you all to come and visit her but you have to still leave me a slot somewhere in your there during the week for me to visit.

Janelle is amazing. She checked in often with me on the pressure, which was perfect every time. She made suggestions to ensure I had one of the best massages at ME with some aromatherapy.

David was good however, he asked what my trouble spots were and he barely touched that area! So the massage for me was just ok.. He was also sick with probably a cold. He shouldve worn a mask or not been at work. Made me think the entire time that I was going to get sick.

I go to this location once / Twice a month. Never a bad experience. The staff is great.I do a 90 min. massage with Sandra and book a week in advance to make sure I get her.Yo may want to take advantage of the membership as it offer great value with no contracts.Bob

Great experience here! Prices are reasonable. Masseuses are attentive and professional. Front desk staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Billing was a little murky but we got it all sorted out with pretty minimal effort. Forcing myself to schedule time was the hardest part.

I called the Chandler store and asked to speak with a manager and was put on hold as I was explaining my situation. I then called the Ahwatukee store and spoke with a manager and she said that she could not make any changes to my account because it was not my home store but I can schedule an appointment there…go figure and they work on the same system. Mind you I have 6 credits still available and I am an essential worker on both my jobs and can’t use the credits by September. So, I was trying to let my cousin use some and was told that they could not do it that way. I have just wasted $360.00 which equals 6 credits of my hard earned money to Massage Envy and credits I will loose because I have to work and support myself. Thanks for nothing and I hope you enjoy the extra money on your checks. While you were closed I was still working during the COVID trying to save lives. SO WITH THAT BEING SAID keep the money. Long lost customer!

I have been a member of this clinic since 2004. After numerous billing issues with this particular clinic (not charging on the proper day for instance), they canceled my membership with no warning (no phone calls and then lied and said I blocked the clinic number #BUTWHY). Mias response was, well, you didnt expect to get the grandfathered rate forever, did you? Well yes, yes I did. I would not recommend this clinic to ANYONE - go to any of the other clinics and sign up, this one is dishonest and the owners do not care enough to return phone calls to make things right.

Well, in a word, EXCELLENT! I had done my research and in doing so had found good and bad reviews on line. Mostly good, and the price was right, so I went for it. In booking my massage and facial, the receptionist was very interested in what I was looking for. Since I didnt really know, she scheduled me with Jenny and Heather. Both were very kind, and made me feel very comfortable. I went in feeling knots and pain in my body, and left feeling like a million bucks. I did sign up for a membership, in which they explained would be for the duration of one year, but who cares? Im worth it, and the massages roll over if you dont use them. It was a no brainer. I also purchased about $300 in facial products, which I am ok with obviously, because I was looking to reduce some hormonal acne. I am excited to go back bi weekly and love this place to tears. I totally recommend this location to anyone who wants regular cheap low cost massages and facials too.

Inadequate, unprofessional, and misleading service from front desk rep named dixy, dark brown hair, brown eyes.Today I called to report my tardiness. Representative stated I could show up and theyd be able to reschedule and accommodate me. She failed to disclose if more than 10 minutes late Id be charged for a service I did not receive. I made the drive through crazy stop and go Phoenix traffic.I show up and She refused to offer resolution, and refused to escalate my ask to her leader. She was arguing that she assumed Id arrive no more than 10 min. Late.I drove through immense traffic and requested PTO from work just for this appointment today.I was disappointed in the lack of service and support this Representative had. I remained calm and asked for a resolution. She instead took another phone call while I was awaiting for her response on resolution. There were two other front desk clerks on their cell phones while the phones were ringing. As a result, I walked out & I will not be booking my services with this organization.Aveeda was able to see me thankfully without hesitation and professional service was provided at Aveeda! They earned my business today!

I decided a couples massage would be nice for my gfs birthday. Everything was great until the end when we tried to pay. The staff was very friendly and the therapists did a good job....it was very relaxing. However, when I tried to pay, the gal at the counter wanted us to purchase memberships. Im not one to make on the spot financial commitments, so I told her my gf and I would talk about it later. Instead of listening to what I said she became persistent and it turned into a high pressure sales pitch. Before long our relaxing experience turned into a stressful one, and I had to get borderline rude just to pay the bill! It ruined the entire experience and I can honestly say I will not revisit Massage Envy because of the last 10 minutes of being there.

The 90 min. massage is my new favorite!!I have seen Craig and Sandra for my appointments: they are both excellent Massage Therapists, so polite and professional. Looking forward to my next visit!

Drew gives an incredible massage. He is very professional with advanced training and skills. He is also very personable and makes me feel comfortably at ease.

I will never visit this location or another massage envy again. I scheduled a massage with my debit card to be held on file, no other card was provided. My wife goes in for a facial and they charge my credit card that was NEVER provided to them. When I call to get to the bottom of it, I’m told the card was provided and it was the only way it could have been charged. That’s a lie, I know for a fact that my credit card information was not provided. I have messages from the date of service where I advised my wife to have them charge the card on file (my debit card) and delete it. She never provided my credit card information for them to charge that card. They’re fraud and I will take my complaint as high as I can go. I will be reaching out to my credit card company as well. Horrible first time experience and will never do it again.

I have had a great experience here. My massage therapist did a thorough check on me and was able to locate the pressure points and the pinched nerves . .i feel so much better now . i was in a lot of pain but thank god for massage hot tubs and an ice cold beer im good as new.

Made a couple of attempts to book a 90 minute session: the first one, the therapist could barely apply ANY pressure so rather than spend that much time and money for an ineffective session, I asked to reschedule - no one was available same day, of course. So I made the 2nd appointment, which they cancelled day of, with no offer of a same day/ similar time slot replacement. Not to mention, woke me up at 8am on Sunday to do so. The only reason Im going to Massage Envy is because I have a gift card. Wont be using it at this location and wont be back to Massage Envy after using the gift card...

I have been a member of this organization for years and have always had the best service even when I was in California I had consistent place to go for massage. This particular clinic is is made awesome by the services of Kayla

I’ve been to Massage Envy twice & each time I have had a great experience. My massage therapist Lea is very good. I walk out of there feeling amazing.

I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant, and was given a gift card for massage. After getting my massage I tried to use my gift card at the Mesa location and told there wasn’t a balance. I thought that would’ve been impossible because it was my first time coming to Massage Envy. It had turned out the Ahwatukee location, where my gift card was purchased, used it on the purchaser without the purchaser knowing. The Mesa location said it is in their policy to not use gift cards without having the physical gift card present to prevent this type of situation from happening. I talked to the gift card purchaser and they had said that they had a credit on their account when they got their massage last time, but it was really just the gift card they had bought me. The purchaser felt horrible that this had happened and said they wouldn’t have ever done this knowingly. I called to see if I could get this issue resolved, and not only did they not resolve this issue they did not even apologize, take accountability, and the manager Destiney even laughed that I would even ask for any assistance and said that the purchaser must not have liked me and decided to take the gift card back. I really just wanted an apology, and a reimbursement would’ve been a nice addition but I just wanted some accountability to be held their staff or policy, but instead they put it on me and the gift card purchaser. As a first impression I was not impressed and even pretty disappointed in their costumer service. The Mesa location staff even said that it must have been something on the Ahwatukee locations staff that caused this issue to happen. I was given this gift card to ease the aches and pains this pregnancy has given me, and this massage was supposed to be a very positive experience and unfortunately the staff at the Ahwatukee location ruined it for me. It really makes me sad because the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had at any massage place, but I don’t think I will be returning to Massage Envy because of their messy transaction policies, and lack of customer service.

I came here for my very first massage and it was well worth it. This place is very clean and tranquil. I never felt so relaxed before. They are very friendly and made me feel right at home.

This was the worst experience I have had in customer service. I tried to get a refund for a gift card I purchased the day before and I was told there is no such thing as a gift card refund. I was repeatedly told that their policy is written and clearly stated. As I was talking with the manager, I mentioned that it was not stated on any counter, product, flyer anywhere in the office or mentioned to me prior to purchase. The counter clerk said it was written on the back of the card, which I reminded her was never explicitly mentioned when I bought it. In fact the clerk just placed it in its holder and handed it to me, yesterday, and did not mention any of the policy prior to charging me for the amount. All I received in snarky advice was; Well its on the card, soooo. This blatant disregard of even trying to work with me has made me clearly lose faith in the Massage Envys of improving a customers health and stress level. I would not recommend this location based on their lack of professionalism, willingness to work with a customer when they have pointed out the areas of improvement and overall experience.

Parking is almost impossible then I go to the relaxation room where there are 2 small children - were the kids bad? No but the baby was squealing and mom and gma kept talking to the kids. Who bring their kids to a massage place then into the relaxation room. Didnt cancel my membership after the last review - but now.....I think its time to look for a new location or servicer.Used to go regularly on the other side of the valley but moved - have gone to this location once so far and therapist was great - called today for an appt and the person that answered the phone was obviously in a hurry - didnt ask what type of therapist I wanted and rushed me off the phone - not sure Ill keep my membership after this appt.

Willie is amazing and intuitive in how she finds the right spots, applies the right pressure and waits just the right amount of time before moving to the next spot. I felt so much better when I walked out!

They have a few good masseuses and a few poor ones. It can be hit or miss so if you find one you like stick to them. They will cancel short notice sometimes too which can stink considering you are looking forward to it. You will not be compensated when this happens either though, if roles are reversed you will be charged. Maybe I just had bad luck but after two years I had enough bad luck for my taste

My massage didnt start until after 1220 (scheduled at 1200) is that a common practice? It was also very cold in the room and no warmed sheets/blankets.Felt rushed.

Any business which cannot get it together enough to find a system which accommodates clients, nonetheless NEW clients, doesnt get my money. (It was actually almost 11 minutes BTW, without even a sorry, do you mind holding longer? Just a click every few minutes, apparently from the guy who initially stuck me in autohold HELL, putting me on hold AGAIN.) UNBELIEVABLY poor customer service.
