I had an absolutely amazing experience with Marisa and Alma at the Lazy Bee Spa. My first day at the Clarendon, I got a Swedish massage with hot stones with Alma, and it was fantastic. I never used hot stones before, and Alma massaged with the stones vs just placing them. It was so relaxing that I came back the next day for a facial with Marisa! This was my first facial and definitely wont be the last. Marisa is a true genius when it comes to facial care. She used a beautiful marine-based treatment from France that left my skin glowing. She also gave me a neck, arm, and feet massage that was such a pleasant surprise treat to have with a facial.I cant sing this amazing spa teams praises enough. If you are staying at the Clarendon or in the Phoenix downtown area, an experience at The Lazy Bee is a must. The prices were very reasonable for the amazing services I received, and you also get a nice discount if you are staying at the hotel.

Really wonderful experience. My partner and I got massage one after the other—he got a sports massage and I got the Swedish with cupping. Alma was amazingly good for both types! I don’t always love massages just this felt so relaxing and she addressed some trouble spots my partner or I had. She was kind and really great at communicating with us. Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!

Me and my family received excellent service from Marisa. We all got the full body experience and she customized each session to our skin types. So relaxing and not a bad price for what all you receive. Best gift for my birthday today and everyone within the spa and hotel were very nice.

I booked with Marissa for a 90 minute “Full Body Treatment” and WOW! It is the best of both worlds. It’s a combination of facial and massage and is the incredible start to finish. My skin looks so hydrated and glowy and I left feeling so clean and relaxed. I highly recommend this service and will definitely be back for this again with Marissa! Amazing!

Alma is an absolute genius! Almas knowledge and skills are phenomenal, and I feel totally transformed after just one hour. Alma is so personable and professional that she makes you feel completely at ease. Alma is clearly very passionate about her work and she takes great care to mindfully diagnose and address any problem areas, offering very helpful (and interesting) guidance and advice throughout. Alma has world class expertise and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Suffice to say; I wouldn’t consider going for massage anywhere else.

Marissa was amazing! I got the Body Treatment Experience- 90min of a back facial, a face facial, foot and hand massage with back shoulder neck massage- incredible! We got 15% off for staying the night at the hotel- I would absolutely recommend this service and get it again myself!

You must book a visit here! One of the the best spas Ive been to anywhere (and I travel a lot)! I got a massage and a facial and I feel like my two hours lasted twice as long. I was so relaxed after and my skin looked amazing. If you are deciding between here and somewhere else, you should pick here.

We had the most amazing girls day at The Lazy Bee spa! Marissa helped organize some facials and massages for a small group of us and it was an incredible experience! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing time. An additional perk is you can use the Clarendon pool after your services!

My sister and I came here for a relaxing massage. The spa was clean and our massage therapist were very nice. But while my sister had an amazing experience with Angela, I did not with my therapist. I felt like my therapist spent more time grabbing stuff away from the table than massaging my body, she maybe spent 30 minutes hands on. I felt tense because there was no natural flow. I am not one to leave a poor review but this experience was disappointing.

Amazing place to get your first facial with Twee!!Twee was outstanding, I didn’t only get luxurious treatment for my face, but she also did the best massage I have had in years!! She was so knowledgeable and knew so much about trigger points, she found my soar places without me saying a word about them and it gave me incredible relief. SO great! Twee & Angela did me and my partner’s couple massage and it was amazing. They were both so accommodating and gave us an amazing experience. I’m never going to another spa every again! Anna (the manager) also was so fantastic and took every single one of my 30 phone calls prior to our appointment to make sure everything was perfect. LOVED IT!

My husband and i went here for an hour deep tissue and it was amazing. This was definitely one of our best massages. The area will throw you off when you get to the place but the massage was awesome. They give you this honey candy after which was also amazing. Will definitely be coming back soon !

This was my second amazing experience at Lazy Bee Spa. The first time was before my wedding. I went for a bikini wax and a massage with Twee. This time I went for a therapeutic massage and hot stone therapy on a treat yourself day off from work. I chose Twee due to the fantastic reviews and was not disappointed. She listened to me and asked me about different levels of pressure. She also took care to address my sciatica problem, which was significantly relieved/reduced. I am not hesitant at all on recommending Twees services and will definitely be back again! Hopefully I wont be so long in between visits next time! Thank you Twee. We went for an hour deep tissue couple massage, and it was amazing!! Angela & Tonja both know what we need. Yes, it is located in a 420 friendly area, but dont let that throw you off. It is by far the best massage I have ever gotten.

My co-worker and I were traveling to Phoenix and were looking for a place to treat ourselves before our meetings began. Thank God we found the Lazy Bee Spa! Anna and her team were warm and friendly and wonderfully pampered us! I had a facial with Anna and my skin is still glowing days afterward. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating. The customer care and service was top notch. I highly recommend this spa and this experience.

The spa itself is beautifully kept and clean. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing. I had a facial with Anna and it was sublime! Incredibly intuitive, knowledgeable and kind. She picked products that were perfect for me and my concerns and created an experience that was soothing for the soul. Her facial massage was insanely good, I never wanted my treatment to end :)

I had such fantastic experiences at Lazy Bee Spa! The environment and experience truly set the tone for two relaxing days to reset. Upon walking into the spa, I felt more at peace. The music was very subtle & calming and the essential oils were just the perfect level of scent. I was made to feel very “at home” upon arrival. I was greeted with high quality water, as I admired the beautiful woodwork in the spa. Anna worked her magic with a facial that was quite pampering. She really seemed to connect deeply with the experience and took her time. I liked how comforting Anna was as this was my first ever facial. I went very deep into a relaxation state within this. I left feeling quite zen and as if my face had more glow and my jaw felt more relaxed than it had been in a very long time. Afterwards, my facial musculature & skin felt hydrated and smiling felt easy. This was a picture perfect first experience with a facial. I definitely plan on continuing to get facials with Anna. I booked a massage with Twee as well. This was one of the best massages I have ever had. It was unlike many of the prior massages I have had in my life, in that this massage completely exceeded any expectations. I too found myself in a very relaxed state while Twee worked her magic. I left the massage feeling as if a lot of tension had been released. My body actually felt stronger and more fluid with movement following the massage. Will absolutely be booking again with Twee. Oh. My. God. I’ve had some incredible massages and my deep tissue massage with Alma was easily in the top 3. I’m a very large and dense man so deep tissue is the only way I’ve been able to enjoy a massage. It’s difficult finding a therapist who is able to go deep enough for an entire session. Alma was incredible. So good. So so good. She was able to get the per fee by depth my muscles needed and was able to do so consistently for the entire session. I’m so happy with my experience, I’ve had a lot of massages that just weren’t deep enough. Thank you Alma for being an absolute homie. I live just down the street and I WILL be back. If y’all aren’t sure— pick this place. It’s small, local, very professional, and the therapists know their profession.

Me not throwing a tantrum at the end of my 90 min facial because I didnt want it to end 😭. Anna was amazing! She was so friendly, funny and made me feel so comfortable for my first facial ever. She walked me through every thing and made sure I was so comfortable. She took her time and didnt make me feel rushed at all. Its inside a hotel behind a yummy smelling restaurant. I absolutely love and recommend this cute little place.

I will start by saying that I get frequent messages, and love trying new places I got a Swedish massage for 90 minutes my appointment was at 5:20. I got to the room by 5:30 after waiting in the bar of the hotel, where I was told to wait to be taken to the spa. The bar smelt awful, and definitely did not set the atmosphere for what you’d want for a massage.I was brought back to the “spa”( a few very tiny rooms and a restroom) after waiting in the bar for 10 minutes. My massage therapist asked my problem areas and began the massage. She was very kind. I added cupping to the appointment due to a lot of pain in my shoulders.I ended the massage early because I was so uncomfortable with the beginning atmosphere and the way I felt upon entering the hotel.I am very upset set, with spending my money here. And felt like I wasted it. I was not able to relax at any moment during the serviceI recommend going somewhere else if you are looking for a relaxing spa and the feeling of being safe.I tried it base on the reviews and don’t believe they were wrote truthfully. Very sad.Update:I called and left several messages about what had happened. To at least get some money refunded. No one every called back…I would highly suggest going somewhere els.

I recently had an appointment with Tonja and let me tell you, it was amazing. She was so nice and attentative. She used just the right amount of pressure to work the knots out in my back and make me snore, LOL. I will definitely be coming back again to work with Tonja. One of the best massages Ive had in AWHILE

I received a massage from Alma and a facial from Anna today and both of them were extremely professional and provided very quality service. I had prenatal massages w Twee who was amazing! I has her massages all throughout my pregnancy with no issue despite being a high risk. I’m due for an induction in a few days and I just had my last prenatal massage today, which I was still able to lay on my stomach w the special bed/pillow she uses. I absolutely love her massages, their comfy, soothing & relaxing. Twee makes you feel like all your stressors diminish once you’re getting a massage. By far the best I’ve had and I’ve tried many. I can’t wait to go again after my baby.

My dad and I had such an amazing experience here. He got a massage with Twee and I got a facial + brow wax with Anna - we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Anna was friendly, knowledgable, and professional, and I didn’t want my treatment to end. She was very meticulous with my brows. My dad also enjoyed his massage with Twee.

Went here for Mother’s Day & I’m soooo glad I did! My therapist was Tonja and she was so sweet, friendly, and gave off the most relaxing/positive vibes! She was on time & I never once felt rushed. I asked for a deep tissue and received THE BEST massage I’ve ever had in my life! No one has ever given me a massage with pressure as firm as I wanted EXCEPT for Tonja….it was so good I could barely get up to make the drive home LOL! The room was very clean and pleasant smelling with a very mellow atmosphere. The spa is located in a really cute little hotel and I definitely plan on coming back. Thank you Tonja for starting my Mother’s Day off just right!

Stayed at the hotel for 5 days! Booked with Alma twice!!Best experience ever! Not only was she good with her hands but her level of understanding regarding the knots in the body was pretty impressive. My last day visiting the hotel I fell off of a atv and hurt my back. Luckily Alma was able to squeeze me in and help my lower back feel a lot better. The rooms were set up just right! Clean and peaceful tunes all around! See you guys when I visit again!!

This was my first time in Phoenix and my first day here I booked a massage with Twee. It was the BEST way to start my vacation in the most relaxing way. She was amazing! She made the massage personal to my meet my particular needs and addressed areas that needed more attention. Going to book another massage with her before I leave!

I was in search of close by spa to downtown Phoenix, didn’t realize this gem of a place was so close. It had such a nice vibe inside. I hadn’t had a massage in over a year so I was so ready, Tonja had the perfect touch. She was so delightful. I only booked 60 minutes, already planning for next time for 90 minutes and to enjoy the Hotel amenities.

Had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Tonja and it was AMAZING. Best massage I’ve ever had. She found exactly the right pressure.Also, you get access to the pool facilities at the Clarendon for the day when you get a massage. Can’t really beat that combo.I’ll 100% be back—cannot recommend her enough.

Alma gave me a full body massage. The massage was better than I could have ever expected. The cream she used left me moisturized and so soft. She relieved knots from my neck and rubbed my hands so good. The place is clean and very pretty. I don’t regret choosing this place at all.

I have been a client of Anna’s for 3+ years, primarily for waxing, and I would recommend her or the Lazy Bee Spa to anyone needing spa services or waxing. She has the best energy, is super professional, and she always consults you and coaches you (as needed) along the way. I came to Anna after one of my eyebrows was butchered and I needed help as they grew back in. Anna helped me create the perfect, natural-looking full shape and restored my love for my own brows. Tonja was amazing!! I got a therapeutic massage. She was very attentive to my needs and made recommendations once the session was over, apparently I have a misalignment in my back and honestly I would’ve never thought. Very professional, great atmosphere, and amazing customer service. 10/10

I received a 90 minute massage from Twee. It was the best massage I have ever received. That means a lot coming from me since I’m a daughter of a massage therapist and I am one as well. I have had a lot of massages over the yrs and I wasn’t very happy with the touch and intuitive skills of the therapists. Twee intuitively knew where I had tension in my body and went right to those spots to help me release the tension. I would highly recommend her at this amazing spa. Twee is also an esthetician so if you need waxing, micro needling or a facial she is your lady! She has been doing my brows for the last three years and she waxes them in a way that I don’t have to get them waxed every three weeks. I can go as long as two and a half months!! To top my experience off Twee and the ladies at this spa treat you like you are an old friend that they haven’t seen in a while. You get pampered and loved on the entire time you are there!

Alma was amazing! Highly recommend! Super cute and very relaxing. For someone who is ticklish she had me falling asleep! The spa is just off of the bar/restaurant area, for convenience A+ you can stop before or after for a drink and a meal.

Excellent massage! My lower back and neck was aching from traveling and sitting, that bothered meet. I had a 60 min deep tissue massage, and it was amazing! I could have continued another hour.My daughter had a signature facial and her skin was clean and glowing afterwards.

Before our wedding we had couples massages and facials and they were to. die. for.The spa is beautiful and clean and the ambiance is so relaxing!I also see Anna regularly for various waxings and she is always so professional, taking extra time to chat with me and make sure her work is on point! The wax services are definitely NOT your cookie cutter, McWax jobs you get at those huge companies.

Alma and Tonja was amazing. From the moment we stepped inside the facility they greeted us with professionalism, kindness & welcoming personalities. During our couples massage they showed their expertise with the muscles/body and even shared solutions to help elevate tension at home. The massage was amazing, relaxing & therapeutic. Lazy Bee is such a great little hidden gem. I love how they have worked on making this spa an amazing space for locals and visitors of the hotel. I don’t trust my brows with anyone but Anna! She is amazing! Her facials are amazing too, so relaxing!

When entering it can be a bit confusing but just check in with the front desk and they will tell you where to wait. Tonja is absolutely amazing! Tonja is such a kind and caring person. I had limited motion in my neck due to stress and a surgery I had 10+ years ago. I stopped mentioning it when getting a massage since it hasn’t really ever improved. After Tonja worked on me, I have a way better range of motion. I was beyond surprised when I went to get dressed and my neck was able to rotate further than before without major stiffness. Not to mention, it was extremely relaxing. FYI- Locals get to use the pool and jacuzzi on the day they have a service. I can’t say thank you enough! 🙌🏻

Do yourself a favor and go get a massage from Twee! Nobody does a better deep tissue massage than Twee and I’ve had massages from many 5-star resorts all over the world. She found every pressure point and knot on my body, even ones I was completely unaware of! I felt ten years younger and completely relaxed when she was done! Her massages a magical and I recommend everyone get one from her. The spa was very cute and clean and everyone was very friendly and professional. I will be back often.

Twee is a gifted massage therapist. I booked her for a 90 minute prenatal massage and it was so good, I immediately booked her for another one the next morning. She found all my trouble areas without me even having to tell her. Highly recommend!

I have been to the lazy bee spa multiple times for my facials. It has been something I’ve wanted to start investing in, but had no idea where to go in central Phoenix. The Clarendon being one of my favorite local spots, it felt natural even though it’s a hotel. Anna gave me an experience of a lifetime and I’ve never looked back. The space was unpretentious, inviting and calm. She walked me through what she was doing and why and basically massaged my whole body during a facial! Who knew! It was incredible. I have been going regularly for the past year and my skin and never felt or looked better. Do yourself a favor and give this hidden gem a try - and tell your friends!

The wife and I just did a couples 90 minute massage. It was truly a wonderful experience for both of us. Cant remember the ladies names but it was the best massage Ive ever had and the wife said it was the same for her. Very relaxing and the champagne touch was very nice.

The staff is so wonderful there, the vibe is so chill (I know sounds cliche - but thats the feel!) and we look forward to our next visit. Have been there twice and look forward to my return! Ive only had the facial there, and will continue to have again and again! I was a coiled MESS when I went here a couple weeks after I moved into a new home & had a neck injury prior to the move in. Alma left me feeling like a perfect noodle! The flute music that was playing had my spiritual body elevated & my mind put to ease. She was quite understanding of my body’s needs, especially my hands (I use them quite intensely for my line of work). One highlight that still sticks with me is once I turned over on my back, she lifted my head to place a warmed bean bag under my neck & over my eyes. That reeeeaaalllyyy plunged me into relaxation. Needless to say, I felt still floating in space.

My first facial was with Anna she made me very comfortable and I left glowing like never before. My second time was for a massage with Twee she hit all the right spots.

My husband and I got a massage this afternoon, it was amazing!!!! They knew exactly what spots to get that were super sore!!! Made us feel comfortable and they were also professional!!! We are definitely going back for another!!!!

If I could give Anna at the Lazy Bee TEN stars I would. I left feeling glowy and the most relaxed I’d ever been since before giving birth. She was so personable, professional, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way, especially since human interaction has been questionable during the coronavirus lockdown. She, like, massaged away layers of anxiety and stress and lack of sleep, until a new woman emerged like a Phoenix rising from the crusty ashes of new parenthood. For a facial, it truly was a magical experience.

This Spa was very comforting and has a beautiful atmosphere. Tonja was a very sweet lady I would highly recommend going to her! I got a massage and I walked out of there feeling amazing! Thank you for the great experience Tonja!!
