I like this shop a lot and I like some of the people who work there. The attendants are nice, caring, and willing to help you with anything you need. I came here one day on a Thursday, but the person who usually works that day was not there. Instead someone else was covering them, and I did not get their name, but he was a guy who came from another store. For example, if I asked a question about one of the THC products, he would get frustrated with me because I am not very knowledgeable on THC or cannabis. I understand that people have their own things going on, however to be blatantly disrespectful to a customer is unnecessary. In essence, I like this shop, but I’d say some need to work on their customer service skills.

Always a great experience when I shop here. The employees are kind and knowledgeable about the products and have great insight on what pieces fit what you’re looking for. My glassware has always been high quality and durable when I shop there. Prices are reasonable and you don’t feel like you’re paying outrageous markups. It’s my go to in the city for glassware and pipes.

Went here a while ago in search for a rig or nectar collecter. The girls customer service skills were terrible. I felt as if she didn’t explain anything (not that I need explaining) and was very cold. She seemed to be interested in different things other than the customers but when you did talk to her you have to be so careful about what you say. Also the prices are insane. If you want some really good glass for a decent price I would recommend J&S glass in squirrel hill. I bought three pieces there and they are awesome. I only bought a nectar collecter from here and well you can’t say much about them but I would never buy a piece from here again. I mean most things here are literally over $400.

My absolute favorite shop around Pittsburgh. Dont let the stores small size fool you, they have an outstanding selection of pieces to select from, as well as more expensive vapes such as the mighty and volcano. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful as well. I plan on returning here everytime I want something new!

I was in the store to buy a grinder for my fiance and the guy working was very informational and knowledgeable about everything from the CBD gummies and oils to basically anything I pointed out or asked about. Store is very clean. I just hated the parking because it is located in Oakland which true Pittsburgh people know Oakland is the worse to find a spot. But I found one and I only had to walk like 1 1/2 blocks and it was a nice day! But I definitely recommend this place!

Decent selection, but they definitely carry some cheap pieces that they sell as better quality than they are. I bought a quartz banger for my large water pipe and used it for one day before it took LITERALLY a two inch drop onto laminate and shattered. I took it back hoping they could replace it, at least at a discounted price. Turns out, as soon as it leaves the store its not our problem.Being from Philadelphia, i know how glass shops should be run if they want to build lasting customer relationships. As a newer business, theyre doing a good job of making sure some of us never shop there again.

Awesome place. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Got a vape there and the girl showed me how to set it up. Overall have had great experiences every stop! So glad I found this place!

Super small shop, maybe enough standing room for 5 people max. Has a lot of variety in types of items, but not a large selection for any specific category like bongs, pipes, etc. Glass is about on par for in-person shop prices but you can find way better glass for cheaper online.

Just visited this shop right before closing and the worker was more than happy to serve me. He helped me pick a tank and batteries all the while giving me alot of information about my vape that didnt come in the manual. This is where I will be purchasing my oils and accessories from now on. I didnt catch his name, but thank you so much for today! My vaporesso gen mod is working perfectly and the flavors its producing are outstanding. Kudos to you and the buisness!

This is a very small shop, with a very large selection! They only have quality glass, much of which is quite unique. Many water pipes ranging from about $70 to over $400. They also have dab rigs.Only downside I can think of, is that their dab pens are overpriced. They were selling the YoCan Evolve Plus XL for over $60 when it can be found for approximately $35 online. Unless youre buying glass, I would recommend price-checking their products. Regardless, this is a fantastic head shop!

Got a great deal on a water bong with an ice chamber for $40. Its worth $120. Good quality glass made by some scientists. Definitely will be returning!

I have always gone to the glass store in Squirrel Hill but a friend recommended this place, so I went there today for my first time and it was also my last. Not only were their prices extremely high but the young woman behind the counter needs to be more aware of her customer service skills. But I am enjoying my new pipe.

Super cool intimate space with a lot to offer! Highly recommend this spot for any glass lover, super friendly staff as well as an awesome dog hanging out; I will definitely be back in the future. Hands down exceeded my expectations entirely.

Enjoyed our visit very much. We showed up as the store opened on a Sat morning and had the place to ourselves.Talked to the owner whos quite the conversationalist. Though a bit misguided about his favorite sport teams, he managed to overcome those shortcomings and became an instant favorite person. We came down from Cleveland for a weekend, a thing I never thought Id do. He was the first person we met in Pittsburgh and it was such a warm welcome to a city I came to like more than I ever imagined I could.

Store doesnt sell half the items they advertise. Decent prices on everything else.

My go to for specific information about high grade devices. They usually have top tier devices in stock, like Storz and Bickell, Puffco, and glycerin chilled water pipes. Accessories for those brands can be found here also.

Came out from philly and the cute guy with the glasses was a huge help and sold me a pipe for a good price. They also sell good quality brands of CBD and a nice range of glass at reasonable prices for a college town. Definitely the best of the headshops in this area. Thanks again!

Every time I stop in, I have a pleasant experience. If you need it, they’ve probably got it. For every $100 you spend, you get $10 off. They carry items for every budget and use. . . And they’re open until 10 pm for the late night run.

I dont write alot of reviews but felt the need to do it for this shop. So I have never owned a vaoe before and went in the shop to purchase some kratom and a vape. After getting my usual kratom which this shop has an excellent variety of I started to talk to the female about vapes. I told her this would be the very first one I have ever owned. She set me up with a perfect starter vape. She didnt try to up sell me or make me buy some really expensive vape that I didnt need as a beginner. Then she helped me pick out some juice that was even on sale. I do wish she would have had me get the higher nicotine juice though. Anyways she then showed me all the parts of the vape and how to assemble it. But this is what set the store apart. When I got home to use the vape I noticed that it was leaking juice. Not knowing if something was defective I took it back to the shop the next day. Kenny was working. He took the vape apart and showed me a very common mistake when assembling that vape and how easily it was corrected. The girl did a good job the night before but Kenny went into much much more detail. He made sure that not onky was the problem fixed but that I would know how to fix the problem if it ever happened again. He asked me what made me want to vape. How much I smoked and was the one that told me I should have got higher nicotine juice because it would last longer. He then even showed me the next step up vape he would reccomend if it turns out that I decide I want to continue vaping so I can quit smoking.

I take kratom daily, and travel 285 days of the year. Have been super happy with not only the price of the product, but their quality! Cant be beat! If Im in the steel city,Head of Glass is my spot.

Prices are up there BUT not on everything and some nice deals plus store credit potential if youre a regular or make a big purchase. Nice lady very welcoming for the most part.

My experience was great. I was staying at childrens hospital and needed supplies. I was in and out bc i was in a hurry. The guy knew what I needed and he was very nice. Will return again for sure!

I dont go to a headshop often but when I do its Head Of The Glass. Its pretty impressive what all Ive purchased here over the years considering how small the shop is.

I usually buy kratom online. I have been using the plant for pain and mellows my ptsd symptoms out from my military service. I was injured overseas and this has helped tremendously. The brand I use, like I said I have only found online or out in Texas. Then I moved to Pittsburgh and walked into head of the glass.... BAM! There it was OPMS brand. Im siked. The staff there is awesome. Always super helpful. Also if you save your reciepts and spend over 100 you get 10$ off. I highly recommended this place.

Head of the Glass in Oakland is a great place with a lot of very informative employees. I bought the Suorin Air because of one of the employees suggestions. I wanted to stop smoking and I talked to the employee and he suggested the Suorin Air to help ween me off of cigs. It has helped tremendously. I have not had a cig in over a month and I could not be happier. The website is very informative also. Head of the Glass in Oakland is definitely my #1 smoke shop.

They have more variety of types of glass pieces than Ive seen in the Southside. And though they have less of each type, the ones they have are unique and interesting.
