From my first phone conversation with Evie, I could tell she was kind, welcoming, and extremely enthusiastic about dance. Evie is a fantastic instructor who has built a strong and supportive community at her studio.Despite only having attended five lessons so far, I can already see progress in my basics and feel a boost in my confidence. The other students are incredibly nice and always willing to help each other out. Went to their salsa classes for the very first time. Wow! Me and my best friend were so humbled. But everyone at this studio was so great. Kind and patient and willing to t teach two women who have never taken a dance class ever! We had a lot to learn. To begin, don’t take heels! We were tired, sweaty and nervous. We had a great time and I would come here again. In fact we will. Try this place out. It’s a challenge but everyone helps you out and is very gracious towards you.

This is the first dance class I have ever taken but needless to say, I doubt Ill need to find another one.Evie is very charismatic, making the learning experience smooth and easy, even for beginners.A good portion of students are very friendly and are willing to help each other out/give guidance regardless of level of experience.

A couple of months ago I went to the Evies Dance Studio just to distract myself from some stress. As an Asian Bengali woman, I never tried salsa before. But when I went there the friendly nature of Evie and her teaching techniques made me want to go there again. From now on every Saturday I go to Evies salsa dance class. If you’re looking for somewhere to learn social dancing for Salsa, look no further. Evie is simply an exceptional teacher.I’d taken classes at another studio for about a month (a few sessions each week), and what I learned there, you could probably learn in just 2 lessons with Evie.It can be fast paced for beginners who are completely new to this style of dance, but it forces you to learn fast and Evie does a great job of breaking down the steps. She also has a great sense of humor which keeps the classes light and fun. The more experienced students here are extremely kind, patient and helpful as well, which helps the learning process.I’m 5 lessons in and these classes are honestly something I look forward to coming to every Friday as an end of the work week treat and I can see myself gradually improving thanks to Evie’s teaching style. I can’t recommend this studio enough. Thank you, Evie!Note:Salsa classes are MWF 6:30-8:30pm and Sat 10-12pm.

I’ve tried to learn Salsa for years and this is the only place that has helped me advance past super basic steps and finally dance! Other places had a snobby culture and/or were way overpriced. Evie’s dance studio has a very supportive, welcoming, and kind community of members, and literally the BEST prices per class/package you will find. I could go on and on about how great this place is, but you really just have to give yourself a chance and come take a class here. I guarantee you will love it!

First, I want to start by saying that my dad tried teaching me to dance Salsa, and he gave up on me because I wasnt getting my turns. I had the same issue with a friend who tried teaching me. Coming here has been the best decision I could have made when it comes to learning dance. Evie has so many tips for remembering the different turn variations. I have been coming here 3 weeks and learned and improved so much already. I went to 2 salsa socials recently and did pretty well with different dance partners. As for the instructor; Evie is just overall amazing. Aside from her sense of humor, she is very patient, and corrects you with love. The environment there is very pleasant as well and you meet a lot of people who are also learning. I 100% recommend this studio.

I absolutely enjoy Evie Dance Studio! I have learned so much in only 4 classes of salsa and 1 cumbia class. Everyone is so nice. I had some family party experience but that was the extent of my latin dance skills. Everyone took me under their wing and I have been able to keep up with the class. All the instructors are amazing. I feel very lucky to found such a great dance studio.

Evie was great and patient with us as we needed a little extra help with our turns. It is a very nice dance studio, and best of all, the dance teachers teach you little by little. The first thing you learn are the basic steps and then you advance according to your learning capacity. I recommend it to everyone.
