This has been my second time going and the experience was great. The place is really clean and the mood right when you enter is very calming. You get a room appointed to you which has a shower and the float tank. It’s really nice to be able to turn off all the lights and float in complete darkness. You have the option of having “stars” light up on the ceiling if you don’t like complete darkness. It’s a really cool experience to feel weightless and just float. I would definitely recommend this place!

This was recommended to me via the r/askportland subreddit.It was an experience but my mind races too much for me to fully enjoy. I fell asleep towards the end and didnt drown (hell yeah), but realized Im not the ideal customer. Worth the experience to determine for yourself though.Will come back in the future if Im able to calm this mind of mine.

What an amazing experience! The float rooms are beautifully designed and well taken care of. The staff was very polite and helpful. I cant wait to go back for my second experience! The first one relieved so much of my chronic aches and pains as well as giving me some emotional and mental stress relief. I highly recommend giving this a try!

We did the sauna and plunge followed by a float session and it was amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place is clean and very relaxing. Highly recommend!!!!

My new favorite float tank sanctuary in Oregon!It was so spacious and I love that there are circular rooms. They put the perfect amount of salt in for a perfectly buoyant float. It was actually a perfect sensory deprivation experience unlike many other float places-- I wasnt disturbed by footsteps or external noises. Just a lovely experience that was so healing for the physical body & also for the mind. I left with new insights & clarity, a sweeter connection with the body, and it was an incredible and much needed vacation from the stimulation of living in the city. It was also very clean! In love with this place.

Been floating at Ensõ for a few years and recently tried their sauna and cold soaks. Charlie, Eden, et al create restful, restorative, and introspective experiences for their clients. Also, everything is very clean.

Incredible doesnt begin to describe what an experience this place is. Clean, refreshing, and soothing upon arrival. Staff are thorough with the walk through, and ease you into the room to prepare to float. Everything was spotless. There was a point I remember being conscious, and then I went blank until my session ended. I dont remember when I disconnected or for how long it was. You need to try this type of Therapy. Ive got 2 float credits and I mostly definitely will be back soon.

What an amazing experience, definitely recommend if you’ve been working hard and have as much anxiety as I do. The staff here are really respectful and friendly the rooms and tubs are clean. Flawless to be honest.

It was my first time trying flotation so I didnt really know what to expect. The overall experience was definitely unique and interesting. I feel like these are sort of thing that you need to try multiple time to get into it. Their space was very clean and modern. If you are a first-timer like me, I recommend going here because the staffs were very informative!

Have been going to Enso for over a year and absolutely love everything about the experience. The staff are welcoming and warm greetings every-time I walk in. The atmosphere is calming and serene. The important piece is the cleanliness. Every room is clean and very well taken care of (yes I’ve used every room at least once. #3 is my favorite). I brag about this place every opportunity I get.

We had an amazing experience here! The staff were able to get my partner and I in for floats at the same time short notice. The facility is gorgeous and calming. Every detail has been thought of, from the non-slip floors to the silicone ear plugs to the warm rooms. The staff is really great at explaining the float to first-timers. The tanks were spacious and had really neat features, like being able to turn star lights on the ceiling of the tank on or off. My partner was in an open tank, which seems like it would be a great experience for someone who doesnt want to be in an enclosed space. We both left feeling so refreshed and renewed. We chatted for a bit after with the guys who started the place, and they were super warm and friendly, and really committed to making sure everyone has an optimal experience. Would definitely recommend, and well be back the next time were in Portland!

What a great experience! This was my first float and I was so impressed with this place, very clean and relaxing, I was offered tea and water upon arrival and shortly after shown to my float room. The gentleman took his time to explain everything to me and made sure I knew where the controls for the lights and emergency were located. The tank was huge, very clean and had star lights in the ceiling that I was able to turn off from the inside of the tank for complete darkness. The room had a shower, robe, slippers and all the amenities you could ever need. The towels were soft and fluffy.Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after my 80 minute float, cant wait to come back!! 🧘‍♀️

This place is snazzy! I expected the experience to be a cut above, and it exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail is really on point. I did an 80 minute float, and followed it up with a fire and ice session (sauna and cold plunge). I highly recommend both, and will absolutely be back :)

This is an amazing experience! As a first time floater, I had no idea what to expect. The ambience of the entire facility is total Zen-Spa feel. The float rooms are spacious and cozy at the same time. The float area is large, well-lit (if you want lights on) and has shutter style doors. I could completely stand up in it. An awesome experience! I wanted to go back again the same day, but my schedule would not allow. I highly recommend! An oasis in the city. Cant wait to go back!

This is hands down the best place to float at. Ive been floating off an on for about two years now and this is the only place that has tanks that are large and able to stand up in which is AMAZING. Every other place Ive been to has the small pod tanks which are still nice, but believe me, the more space the better especially if you are a claustrophobic person like I am. Ive met the whole staff who are all very helpful and friendly. I currently am on a membership plan where I come in once a week, and its a special experience every time. Great place to go to clear the mind and I recommend it to all! First time floaters and experienced floaters, Enso is the spot to go!

If you want complete silence , plenty of room so u can breath without getting stuffy ( like you would in a pod) ,and you don’t constantly bump into walls this is the place to go.The staff are super chill and friendly. They make sure you’re comfortable and have what you need.The rooms are amazing, I’ve tried 2. I’ve trued all kinds of floating devices( pods, rooms, boxes) and these are the best. I’m not getting dropped on or bouncing next to a wall or feel confined at all, which is nice for taller or larger people. The rooms are roomy and have everything you need. They thought about it all👍🏻 Can’t wait to go back. The effects of that place last all week😴🤤

I loved my first time trying a float tank at enso! The facility has a gorgeous and serene atmosphere with calm music, art covering the walls, and hot tea while you wait. The float rooms have everything you could possibly need during and after the experience- robes, slippers, earplugs, lotion (you will definitely want to moisturize afterwards!). I am very claustrophobic and was hesitant at first, but the float tanks are large, open, and can be exited at any time. Thanks for a great experience!

This was my first time trying floatation therapy. I was nervous upon arrival, but the owner was very welcoming and attentive. He gave me the full studio tour, a little background on floatation therapy itself, and careful explained every step of the experience to me. I felt thoroughly attended to and welcomed into the space.The float tank itself is very spacious- much bigger than I expected it to be. I imagined a float pod, but Enso provides a full tank with high ceilings. The float was luxurious, and comfortable because of the option to toggle the lights. My tactic was to go as long as possible in pitch darkness, and when I needed a break, I would switch to the LED-tub or starry night skies up above. Having this option made the experience so much more comfortable for me. As a beginner, it gave me the little bit of control that I needed to test the waters of meditation at my own pace.I would highly recommend!

It was my first time trying float therapy.Very interesting and unique experience. The facility is well maintained and extremely clean.My float was for 90 min. 20-30 minutes into the float, my body felt more relaxed, my mind was calm. I am quite surprised how it helped my mind and body. Post float, I was very de-stressed, calm and felt more refreshing!Definitely going back !

Went in for my first float and will definitely be back. I have ongoing back and shoulder pain and the time spent in the tank was relaxing and eased the pressure & tension I regularly feel. The Enso staff was super friendly and helpful and explained exactly what I should do and expect without making it seem like a big deal. I couldnt have asked for a better experience as a first timer.

Clean facility, easy booking online, reasonable prices. I used to float very often in probably one of the first Samadhi tanks ever produced, haha, and this is definitely a few steps up. Tried keeping the star lights on once--I still love the full sensory deprivation experience, but its nice that people who may be leery of total darkness have other options.

Charlie runs a good business. Clean, well maintained, and friendly ownership. The atmosphere and experience is set from the moment you enter the building, and the wow factor sets in the moment you enter your room. The facilities are set up to induce relaxation and soothing from the jump, and this is a one of a kind experience.10/10 would recommend

Probably not the ordinary customer but I do long haul trucking and was in Portland with the weekend off. Have been wanting to do floation tank for the first time for a while so found enso and it ended up being a great experience. Trevor was great and the tank (and the whole experience) was super comfortable. Everything was clean and calming. Came back again for another session on Sunday and it went equally well. If youre looking for some personal r&r or first time float Id definitely recommend.

Floating involves relaxing for 90 minutes in your own personal Float Suite. This brand new facility is a great place to relax. This was my first float and the experience was fantastic. The personal float suites are very relaxing and spacious. The air and water inside the cabin are warmed to meet the temperature of your skin. I felt deeply relaxed throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend Enso Float in NW Portland.

This is one of the most relaxing, beautiful, and clean facilities I have ever been to. Charlie runs a tight business, and has clearly been meticulous about details. Because of this, every moment from the time scheduling online, to when you walk in, through when you leave makes you feel cared for. This was my first time floating and Charlie walked me through everything before leaving me to my session. Every question I would have had, he answered. And, the float tanks are nothing like what I always imagined - they are very large with different options for lighting. I highly recommend Enso Float!

This place is the utmost in professionalism and cleanliness. Its absolutely beautiful inside, from the lobby to the tanks themselves. When you first walk in, a really sweet dog named Bodie will greet you. He is super mellow and loves being petted. I paid and set up my first appointment online, and they made the whole process very easy. I walked in and they already had my appointment pulled up and a waiver ready. The gal at the front desk walked us through the process, since neither of us had ever floated before, and we had our choice between the two rooms I had booked. She was great and answered all of our questions.Each room is set up with its own shower station (you have to rinse off before getting in, like at a public pool), a float tank, and a little stand with towels, earplugs and ear rinse (in case you get salt water in your ears). There is also a bathrobe and sandals in case you have to get out of the tank for any reason during your session (ex. to go to the bathroom). They really seem to have thought of everything. There are 3 buttons in the tank itself: 1 for floor lights, 1 for ceiling lights, and 1 for emergencies (in which case a staff member will come knock on the door). They also supply a foam neck/head pillow to use in the tank, which is great. There are handles to get in and out so you dont slip.The experience itself was not really my thing. The water is very warm, pleasantly so, but after about 15 minutes of being in the tank, it got so steamy and warm in there that I was having some trouble breathing and was feeling claustrophobic (this is something that happens to me normally in showers/baths/pools, etc.) I was able to open the tank doors though, which helped. I also have severe motion sickness issues, and when you get in, you do actually move around a bit. I dont know why I expected that I would just remain stationary the whole time while floating, but that was not what happened. If you move even a tiny bit, the water movement will cause you to float in one direction or another. I dont think this would bother most people at all, but for anyone with severe motion sickness issues, you might want to think about this aspect beforehand. The third issue I had was in relation to moving around as well. Whenever I would look up at the ceiling or the sides of the tank while floating (every few minutes or so), I would find that my position in the tank was slightly different than before, and that was a very unsettling and somewhat anxiety-producing feeling for me.The experience itself is not really for me, but if you like this kind of thing and want to try it, this place would be amazing. They offer first-timer discounts and are very professional and clean.

This was my first float, so I was nervous at first. But theres no reason to be nervous. Its a relaxing environment, BEAUTIFUL space and very clean facility. They explained everything to me prior so I knew what to do and expect. Your whole body relaxes and the 90 minutes allows you to quiet your thoughts and mind. I will be returning for sure! I highly recommend you come here, you wont regret it.

I’ve used an array of different sensory dep tanks over the years, and Enso is without a doubt the top caliber. Always clean, spa-like feel that’s spacious and stocked with everything you could need. And on top of that, the owner (Charlie) is a perfect blend of professionalism and casual friendliness, so if there’s anything else you may need he’ll make sure you’re all set. Don’t skip out on this place, go ahead and do yourself a favor and jump into the membership - you won’t be disappointed.

Enso is the best float shop around, period. The float tanks are spacious compared to other shops. Most importantly, the water at Enso has consistently been the ideal temperature. This has not been the case at other pod float shops. Five stars!

Never did go back owner made me feel bad for leaving on the shower I didn’t realize I did was a honest mistake he yelled at meTreated me horribly even when I brought friends there spent a lot of money people make mistakes, it’s about how you handle it. They treated me like an employee that stole them. 🤦‍♂️😦

Im going to mention some things to paint a picture as to how unprofessional and bias I was treated. I tried booking a session with Charlie at enso float which I assumed would have been hassle free and mostly easy, especially considering I grew up with and was close friends with Charlie from middle school up tell we graduated together from BHS in 2003. He even took me on a family trip to Costa Rica, thats how close we were of friends. But, like most friends you had growing up you dont stay in touch and you grow up and thats normal, totally understandable. However, to be denied service and treated with utter disrespect for no reason at all is just down right unprofessional and wrong. I called and tried to book a session and Charlie acted as if I was stalking him or something absurd and said I was not welcome to float and hung up on me. Im 33 years old with a beautiful fiance and a amazing son. I would be lying if I said I wasnt offended or hurt by the way I was treated cause I was.If you are reading this and you are thinking to yourself He must have a reason to deny service, something must have happened between them, or they must have had a falling out. Wrong, wrong and wrong. There had been absolutely nothing to justify the verbal abuse and the disrespect I had received. He even said We were friends when we were kids, give it a break. Which makes no sense to say to someone who you havent seen or spoken to in 15 years. What ever happened to treating people fairly and with the same kindness and care you would like to be treated. Especially the people you grew up with.Charlie, I am absolutely baffled at how unprofessional you were to me as not only a new customer but a old friend. You treated me like I was sub-human and a pariah.
