I like going here, I usually have a pretty good experience, and they have several events so everyone has a chance to go in depending on what theyre into and how they identify, which is really inclusive in a constructive way without mashing everyone together into a chaotic mess, so thats very nicely done. You just have to pay attention to what day it is, thats not difficult to do.Asides from the occasional creep, Ive typically had a really good time with plenty of fun.I freaking love your eggs, theyre fantastic.

The previous location was great because it was a mens bathhouse, however with the move to the new location, it has unfortunately transformed into a queer space full of queer people. I went once on a recent Thursday night and the very small crowd present were all flamboyant, overweight, gender goblins. No real men. So sad. Friends who have all visited the new location have all claimed the same thing... No men, just queers. Not sure what the owners were thinking when they decided to invest so much work and money into a new space and then drive all the men away.

This place is so much fun! So many hot men to have fun with! Yummy 😋. Every time I go, I stay longer, I enjoy meeting more men, and it just keeps getting hotter 🔥Theres just so many great people at Hawks PDX! So many ways to play and have fun 😜❤️💋!! The old location had more room for play and a huge steam room. Im have been coming here since the old location but this new one just doesnt hit the same as the old one unfortunately but this place has always been nicer than Steam Portland the staff here are always so friendly and they always take great care of you. The old location just hit different.

As a female assigned at birth questioning transitioning to male I went to visit on their Tuesday bi night with a freind and I had such a great experience that I absolutely had to come back. I didnt think I would be welcomed as a bbw but man I was wrong. Everyone was so nice and friendly. The second time I went by myself Sunday and I was super nervous and shy but I was wrong again. The second visit was great as well. Oh and I even got laid! The s3x was good and amazing. I came a total of 3 times infront of a crowd of 8 individuals. I also got to preform oral too. The hot tube is super fun and the suana helps with my anxiety..I love the sexual atmosphere about the place. It was lovely. They have plus size towls to which is very nice too. And the attendees are very helpful and sweet. Honestly Im shocked that they are so welcoming towards female individuals. I think I may get a membership when I go next time since I love going every bi night. Its such a freaking rush and I get some type of high off going that I have to return lol. They also have lots of play spaces and free condoms all over the place which I love.I hope they never get rid of bi nights or close down. Now I do wish they sold real food like sandwiches and such as I do get hungry after a long night of fun. So minus one star other than that its a perfect place to play!

Ive been coming to the new location for a couple of months now, and I have to say its become a staple of my weekly routine. Its so great to come, kick back and relax after a long day, and partake of the many pleasures found inside. The staff and Michael are very friendly, incredibly nice, accommodating, and want nothing more than to make sure youre safe. Clientele is definitely a lot more varied than I had expected, but thats actually a plus for me. Coming on Sundays has become a regular part of my routine now, and its all thanks to the wonderfully lovely and welcoming atmosphere that everyone there has worked so hard to create. Hats off to you, you all have done such a wonderful job.

I have been in different bath-houses in the US, Canada and Europe, and this one is with no doubt the worst I’ve visited so far, this is not a bath-house, there is no sauna, no steam room, no dark areas, there is a hot tub in the patio and that’s it, on top of that, the entrance is very expensive for what they offer, $35; long story short, I went in, stayed for 10 minutes and left, the crowd is on the older side, hairy bear type, I left and went to the other one (Steams).

I started going when my main partner talked praises of the place after a date. Since then, the two of us try to go every Sunday bi night and have been able to create a wonderful queer and trans friendly community. Almost all the regulars are wonderful people who made it easy to feel welcomed. Highly recommend to those who have been curious to try it out.

So much fun! I love the queer vibes on bi nights, if y’all are looking for a good time I suggest going on Fridays or Sundays for a diverse and sexy crowd! The hot tub is a lovely way to relax and chat with new friends. A huge thank you to the staff for maintaining a clean friendly environment for all our queer adventures!

Fun and safe, alcohol-free environment. Queer owned and queer celebrating, the staff are super kind and make the whole place feel very clean and welcoming. Good music and chill vibes, consent highly prioritized and enforced, and great for just chilling if you dont want to be lewd. The secluded outdoor deck is easily my favorite place to hang out while here, and the hot tub is phenomenal when you can get a spot.

Hawks is always so welcoming and affirming when I visit. The new facility is much nicer than the previous one, though I do miss the steam rooms (hopefully coming soon!). Sometimes it’s nice to just come and chill out with other queer folk. Sometimes it’s nice to hook up with incredibly sexy people. If you were looking for a “men’s only” space, steam PDX is still open. Hawks is seeing a need in our diverse queer community, and is meeting that need. Thank you for being awesome Michael and the team. There are plenty of places that say they are “ welcoming to the trans community“, but Hawks walks that walk. Thanks for being amazing. PS one request: if you can, please provide some non-latex condoms. That’s the only thing that would make this place perfect for me. Big hearts to you all. 💖💖💖

I attended the international men’s party hosted by Hawks PDX last night. In summary it was depressing, disappointing, and even a bit scary. The new physical building is nice, but small and limited inside. Management’s choice of projected videos was appalling given the party’s main theme. Nonetheless, Hawks is clean and new, and the outside patio has a hot tub. The staff are friendly. But this post-pandemic location is also in a sketchier part of town, with numerous RVs ditched-out along side the road and can-collectors roaming about at all hours. There’s that questionable motel across the street, too. What’s really off, though, is the clientele, certainly not what it was in Hawk’s old location. Guests last night very much skewed older (65++) and infirm. It most definitely was not my tribe. If you too are visiting from Seattle, San Fransisco, Palm Springs or another city with major gay bathhouses, then Hawks PDX may not deliver the experience you’re used to or expecting.

The most friendly and progressive bathhouse I’ve been to bar none! Hawks is setting the standard for what a modern bathhouse looks like and I could not be more proud to have the wonderful staff, welcoming atmosphere, amazing community, and bold commitment to making the larger LGBTQ+ world better for all of us in my city. Hawks is exactly the kind of accepting sex positive space I’ve been looking for for years and now I can’t get enough. It’s like my favorite gay bar without the drunks. If your on the fence about visiting do yourself a favor and don’t miss out on one of the best queer spaces you’ll ever get a chance to enjoy. Some people aren’t happy about the facilities for one reason or another and yeah there are some rough edges that still need work but this place like so many of the people who will make it a home came into the world imperfect and had to struggle every step to be fabulous and the people who love it are doing the work to make it even better every day. Haters throw shade but the real community is building something better for tomorrow and I for one want to be a part of that.

This is the happiest place in Portland. I go weekly on their bi nights (Sun and Tue) and when I step in the door I feel like Im home and surrounded by people I love. If youre looking for a queer community where sex is celebrated and all bodies are worthy of love, here it is

- Update based on 09/17/23 experience: The club has hiked their rates and nothing has changed! $35 just to get in and get a locker!!!! For what? LOLSteam room still NOT open, people still smoke pot/cigarettes by the hot tub and sauna. They are also working on revising their hours in Nov to 6pm! Who is going to go that late!!!!! I know I wouldnt! I was excited when they open their new location but sadly it is not up to standard. Getting the a small room costs $45 and you can barley maneuver in it! It feels like you are stuck in a small metal box - I am an average build guy.From previous experience 6 months ago: I agree that they should separate the smoking area and move it away from the hot tub and sauna, it smells gross with all that pot, vapes, and cigarettes.Steam room is still not open and the second floor gets super hot when the weather gets hot - it is all metal containers.

First time experience here. Unfortunately, it was a busy night and busy time. The crew at the front was annoyed but very politely went through everything they needed to still. Didnt make us feel bad. It was an incredibly fun experience. The people were very respectful and all in all a very good crowd.Take a deep breath, respect boundaries, and have some fun.

This is my 5th time going in. Im not lying but all 4 first visits were the greatest. On my 5th visit. I had an opportunity to stay the longest time, but kept getting harrassed by attendant Sky. I did lay down for a bit, but sky kept accusing me of everything as I followed all directions. She went communist at the point. She kept pressure on me to buy a full room.do they get commissions?this is the reason for 2 stars because of her. Otherwise it is 5 stars

Hawks has a lot of potential. There seemed to be a fair number of people there during Puppy Pileup. The rooms are spacious for all sorts of activities. The newly opened sauna is very spacious for many people to accommodate. The staff were very nice and were even okay with bringing in a long board.

After what seemed like an eternity, Hawks finally spreads its wings in a beautiful new space. Great play spaces throughout, an outdoor hot tub, plenty of screens showing a variety of naughtiness to suit everyone. Rooms are well done and comfortable. The staff is always there with a smile or to help out. Parking didnt seem to be much of an issue and the space is very handicapable and friendly. Although at the time of this writing the hugely anticipated steam room is having the final touches put in place, and the soon to be food offering is limited to snacks while waiting for final green lighting. This is a well deserved triumph for all of the agony, frustration and delays we have patiently waited through. You made the wait so worthwhile,thank you. Truly a space for the entire community to be proud of. Looking forward to many happy returns.

Fun place, good vibes, visited for several night, loved every minute of it.

Moved way too far from downtown. So that whole crowd having a good time Downtown on the weekend is less likely to travel across town to SE Portland after the bar or club. The location in Buckman was just a better spot to get attendees. Who wants to be in SE Portland these days. So ya the space is bigger but the place was dead on a Saturday night. I found 1 hookup and Im not bad looking. Total bust. Its not open 24 hours anymore and the old location was next to a doughnut shop so after a long fun night you could hit up some fresh donuts at 6am on your way home... good times.

Its a good facility, but its very small. They are still getting their pricing model down, so check before you go how much youll need to bring. Its clean though and there are plenty of showers. The hot tub is outside though and part of the time I was there it was covered.

Finally, Hawks opened at the new location near the Gateway area. Please note, this bathhouse is not open 24 hours. Staff is very friendly and its owner is very approachable and well-apprieciated. Jacuzzi is new. The sauna is finally open and is three times bigger. Steam room is still in the works. Ask the owner for an update. Yes, Hawks PDX is better than Steam.

My favorite gay space! There’s such a wonderful queer community and such a safe space for trans people, and anyone that identifies as queer! Staff and owner are wonderful I feel so safe going.

Hawks reopened early September after several years away. The membership price is a bit much for a bathhouse ($15 for a week), but the locker and room prices are affordable & comparable to similar businesses.The new location is a two-story structure, which is seemingly larger than the previous address. The hot tub wasnt open yet on my first visit & under maintenance the second time. Dry sauna and more staff said is to come.There is no Wi-Fi here, so plan accordingly if you arent into Treasure Island Media, which is what plays on the community flat screen.The rooms have sliding wooden doors + in-room good sized lockers with mini-padlocks.If youve ever visited the other gay PDX bathhouse you will notice Hawks developed the rooms with inspiration from its competition. However, unlike said rival, Hawks offers outlets in the rooms and air-conditioning! Unfortunately, the doors tend to be difficult to lock and are quite noisy.Staff was very friendly and quick at checking me in.The patio is where one will find a smoking area next to a dark room, which is an empty metal semi trailer with a bench.The neighborhood is very sketch (shady motel across the street & homeless encampment nearby), so hide & lock up all your car valuables.Welcome back, Hawks!

Ive been coming to hawks for even before they moved. Never had any problems but on Friday night I was falsely accused of a wrong doing but the ones in charge took the queens false statement and I was promptly ask to leave. I was given a full refund. What is this world coming to we you havent done anything wrong and are so rudely told to leave .

I was surely disappointed. The place is so small and did not have a sexy feel at all. The many dead end Hall ways were not much fun and the deluxe room was no different than the basic room other than location. And the place is so small that location really makes no difference. I really feel that arriving so close to closing tone should include a reduced entry/room/locker fee. I really want to stop payment on my transactions it was such a disappointment.

This place reopened in September after years of delays, but its not finished. All thats open is a small hot tub. Nearly six months later, there is still no steam room or sauna.They said these would be open by the end of 2022 but theyre still not finished. Really, how long does it take to build a sauna?In September 2022 I paid for a three month membership but never used the club because it lacks basic amenities. I wasted my money.

Sooooo not worth it. The place is in the worst location ever with a scary motel across the street, homeless scattered around the areas, no parking lot, dark streets at night. I understand the whole shipping container thing, but the place isnt... well, I wont be mean. I do wish Hawks well since its post Covid-19 and a business such as this is tough to get going, but, Ill stay away. Too bad because I hear that their old place was so much better. I wish I could have visited it then.

This is a fabulous location. Lots of parking for everyone. The staff was incredible and pleasant. The space was very clean and tidy. I felt most comfortable wandering around by myself. The guests were friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone traveling through Portland.

Overall I quite like this facility. The entrance is well lit, in a well traveled area, and somewhat discreet for those who care. The staff, for the most park, are fun and polite- theres one guy I dont care for too much, but no harm, no foul. As for the clientele, I personally dont think theres too much difference between the patronage at Hawks and Steam. Sure, Hawks has more beefy, bear types, and Steam more muscular. But theres a lot of overlap, and Ive seen all types at both places. The facility is always clean. Yes, it can be a bit cliquey, but thats everywhere. The only reason I deducted stars is because, when I tend to go (8-10 ish pm), its always very slow, and I sometimes end up leaving within an hour. This obviously isnt the clubs fault, it just doesnt suit me personally. I also tend to get barked at by the aforementioned guy who works there when I have a question and hes not at the desk, which makes me feel a little less welcome. Maybe it was a bad day for him. Overall, a decent place.

Im gonna be honest,What with the unfinished nature, of the club, I think it was a little premature to host a Cumunion. Not enough amenities, made it feel cramped. Left after a little over an hour, kinda feeling underwhelmed. I bought a 3 month, and intend to use it. I can see the potential. And eagerly await the opening of the remaining amenities. -I give the CURRENT iteration of Hawks PDX 2.75 stars, with only room for growth.

Got here 1 hour before closing and as soon as I walked to the door they said they were closing an hour early. I’m staying in old town Portland and had to wait outside by myself for an Uber because this place decided to close early. The response to me showing up was: oh I’m sorry…and they’re turned around and locked the doors. Never again will i come here.

Super clean! The staff are polite, please tell but enforce the rules. Not a large bath, but pleanty of space for public use and inclusiveness abounds.

Wonderful place! Clean, great amenities. The staff is awesome and super friendly. They even invited my friend and I to join in their winter solstice celebration and eat dinner with them.

Had my first experience at Hawks PDX Late Sunday night. I have to admit, I had a blast. Met some pretty cool people and Scott the guy behind the counter was super helpful. With it being my first time there. he was sure I was comfortable before he sent me in. Please was clean, and the saunas were freaking AMAZING.

This is my most favorite place on Earth now! Ive gone for a couple of Sunday nights and I cant wait to go back next week!

I recently visited hawks for the first time and my experience was absolutely wonderful! The staff were helpful, kind and very respectful! I e of the friendliest places of not the friendliest places in PDX!

Always a good time. 1st time trying new location. Only sketchy aspect is homeless camp right outside door. That was cause for concern but it turned out to be no problem.

Normally I’ve had good experiences with staff here; however, tonight I was rudely and very disrespectfully and aggressively scolded about not being able to bring in outside food nor drinks. I had a water bottle with me and asked if it was okay to bring in water (clear bottle). And was harshly and condescendingly reprimanded for asking this clarifying question saying that I could have put drugs into it with the tone that i already had. I understand the policy and do believe in following such a policy; however, the manner and communicative interaction could have been handled with even one ounce of professionalism and respect. Also I’ve noticed on previous visits that people do have water bottles that they brought from home (containers for the gym). I am hoping this was not due to a racial bias.

This is likely the worst sauna Ive ever been too. Ive been to a lot of them in the US and Europe.The place is incredibly small. That is the first thing you should know. Theres a reason their website is so uninformative. Think about that....Dont bother getting a room. Its not a room at all but a closet. Thats not an exaggeration. They are literally the size of a very small closet. At first I wondered why they gave you two towels and one of them is bath sheet size. I thought to myself, thats awesome they give you two sizes so maybe some of the bigger guys dont have to ask for large towels. Cool? No, the other towel is for you to lay down on the rubber mattress in the room. There are no sheets or pillows, etc.It was just a bad experience all the way around. I wont be back thats for sure.I was so looking forward to it as everyone I met in Rip City said it was THE place. Perhaps its because its all they have. Makes me wish I had at least tried Steam to be able to compare.

Location 👎Give police back their authority to enforce the laws and punish those who steal and vandalize, then this would be a great place.Until then, if you have to park your vehicle, dont be surprised if you come back to broken window(s), or a stolen vehicle.

Spend two great nights this week-end lots of action . First opinion walking by the outside (pine & 92nd) nothing but a pile of trash was hoping the inside will look better. The inside was werry clean the yard could use some cleaning

I went here a couple years ago and i didnt even want to go here when i went. long story short, i had to go in because of the company i was with. going in, i expected advances from other people that i could just brush off and move on, but what it turned out to be was harassment and nonconsensual touching all night even after i said no multiple times, and i wasnt even exposed. i dont have experience with establishments like these, but it was essentially a nightmare. i just moved myself to the deck and minded my own business until it was time to go.be careful, yall

Fun place. Could use better space utilization. Maze needs darkness or conversion. Second and third dark room is recommended. 90 % or more of public space underutilized. Youve got the clients, just not the CHOICE of play space.

I have never been in such a small and boring sauna. I put in the trash $ 20, in addition they charge $ 1 if we pay by credit card. Scam !

I was there last night went on the patio to smoke,a guest came out onto the patio he asked me for a cigarette. I gave him one,we made small talk,then this guy asked me for a swallow of my soda, I couldnt believe his gall. The younger guys that come there can be a little on the snobby side, for no apparent reason.

They turned the steam room temp back up. Yaaay. Nice & humidified. Very relaxing. I only go there for therapeutic reasons, dont ya know : /
