St. Michel Day Spa

I made a last minute appointment for a 30 minute massage and lucked out and got Mona. All I can say is she has magic hands! That’s what I kept thinking during the 30 minutes of bliss that went by way too fast. I didn’t realize how tight my back and shoulders were. I’m already planning to return for a full body massage. Very clean, relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

My favorite day spa! I received the best facials every 3 to 4 weeks. Kara is so friendly professional and can answer any questions! The staff is also so friendly and very clean and nice atmosphere! love my skin after I get my facials. I am 65 years old so it is so important to keep my skin glowing!! Five stars!

WOW! And thats putting it mildly! I had a 1 hour massage, foot bath, and parrafin wax on my hands and feet---all done by Michel. She was absolutely outstanding and very professional. I also had my very first facial, the signature facial done by Crystal. When I say AMAZING, that really doesnt even cover it. It was phenomenal. Crystal definitely knows what she is doing. It was so relaxing. I will definitely be back for more pampering.

My skin burned so bad after a massage here. I don’t think she used oil. Her bare hands was harsh on my skin. The massage wasn’t structured, she was all over the place; it was choppy. You could hear people talking through the wall, not relaxing at all. She showed up late to the massage but definitely ended it on time. They offered me a $15 credit.

I recently went here to get a facial. I am always pleased but I added a mask this time. My skin feels amazing. The woman who did it, I’m so upset I don’t remember her name, was so nice. She is so knowledgeable and actually helped me diagnose something on my face I needed to go to a dermatologist for. I also think their prices are very affordable. Will be returning.

Let me start by saying that I’ve had very good experiences with St. Michel in the past; to the point of recommending them to many of family members and friends. However, this visit was not relaxing in the least. I did not get what I paid for at all, but quite the opposite. I feel like I wasted $120 as it seemed clear that the masseuse did not want to be there from our first interaction. So the entire time was uncomfortable. That initial interaction amplified all the little things for the entire time. Maybe this was a one time occurrence, or maybe she was having bad day, but I’ll likely try other places before going back and requesting a different masseuse.

This was my very first visit to St Michel; and I can say with certainty, I will be back! I absolutely love the total experience. Dee Irvin gave me a thorough, deep tissue massage and it has really helped with the tension I was experiencing! Very happy customer

So relaxing! Its unfortunately been awhile since Ive been able to get a massage so I decided to get one. I was able to book my appointment online, pick a masseuse, and make a request. St. Michel also sent both a text and email to confirm my appointment a few days before. My masseuse was Ms. Virginia and she asked questions to see which part if any that I needed her to focus on before the massage and I let her know. She was great, working on my knots and kinks with the perfect amount of pressure. One of my requests when I booked was that I didnt want a masseuse to talk to me unless necessary once the massage started(I personally like a quiet and relaxing massage), and she was perfect. When she spoke to me to ask me to roll over during the massage she had a very soft spoken and relaxing voice. I will definitely make plenty more appointments requesting her, Ive found my new masseuse!!

It had been a while since so had gone; my experience was absolutely fabulous. Facial and massage were fabulous.

I was having neck pain and decided to visit St Michel to get a massage. . The atmosphere when you first walk in is very relaxing with the soft lights and the aromatherapy smells. The girl at the front desk was very nice and efficient. Im not sure who my massage therapist was, but she was absolutely amazing. She was very patient with me and worked on the areas I asked her to. Even though the session was intense (she did some deep tissue work), it helped to loosen my neck and alleviate most of my pain. The pricing is also very reasonable. I was very happy with my experience!

This is my first time going to this spa & loved it so far! I was unhappy about my experience at a previous spa that I had attended for my very first professional experience, and I was able to voice my concerns to my masseuse Kayla. She was very patient & friendly while discussing what I wanted. The amount of pressure she applied was PERFECT. I had no complaints. I left there feeling relaxed, as well as, rejuvenated for the rest of my day. I would definitely recommend this spa & also my masseuse Kayla. My next appointment, I will go for other options just to explore.

Got a facial there for the first time. Was one of the best facials I’ve ever had! My face looked new the next day. I had lots of blemishes going in and it helped. Really took her time and I actually felt like the things she was doing was cleaning my skin. Also got my arms/hands and feet massaged, never had that during a facial but I sure wasn’t complaining! Overall awesome experience. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly! I’ll be going back.

The staff at St. Michel are exceptional and very helpful! They made my girlfriend & I feel very comfortable & answered all of our questions & concerns. We did a 60 minute couple massage & both felt incredible. They took the time to work out knots & troubled areas, always making sure that we were okay. Highly recommend the couples massage experience here & will continue to be a regular customer.

First visit today, so we got a package to try different services. We agreed that the massages were very good, focused on tight areas and tailored to individual preferences. Kara did both of our facials and she was outstanding. Will be back for sure. Short one star because appointment phone calls and checkin staff seemed pretty cool and impersonal. But the services were worth the money.

I had a great experience with the 30 massage. I get 2-4 massages per year and this one was one of the best ever. The therapist that did my massage. I highly recommend requesting her for any deep tissue type massages. I plan to return soon as I had a lot of pain in both shoulders for several days and I’ve been pain free since I left, even the next morning.

I have been going there for years. I’mnever disappointed with each visit. Everyone is friendly and professional. I usually get a massage twice a month depending on how bad I need one. I always feel relaxed and rejuvenated when I leave. I’ve had experience with each massage therapist there and they are all fantastic!

Husband and I loved our hour massage. Next time definitely getting an hour and half massage!Facial was amazing. We never had facials before so it was an experience. I enjoyed mine. Husband on the other hand had many blackheads and didnt enjoy that part. Will keep up with facials also!

Massage was good but couldnt even tell you the massage therapist name. She was not personable at all and even though it was an hour massage it felt rushed.

I had a good experience here. The staff was very nice. The facility was clean and I had a great massage. I took a star off because of their waiting area/reception area. It’s extremely small and cramped. When I was there, I had to wait in the small room with 5 other people, 6 including me. There’s chairs to sit, but you can’t sit because then people wouldn’t be able to walk by. I would recommend waiting in your car if they’re busy and having them call you back.

Everyone is very friendly and professional. Michelle worked very hard and getting the knots out of my neck and shoulders and at helping relieve the pain and tenderness in my lower back, SI joint region. Very relaxing atmosphere too.

I never have a bad experience at St.Michel’s! Maybe one or two massage therapists are not as good as the others, but there are so many therapists there, the odds for you to have a great massage are 99.9%! At St Michel’s they are seriously conscious about giving you the therapy that you want, not just some cookie-cutter session. Also, you are not ushered in/ushered out as though on an assembly line. Your time at St. Michel’s is personalized and personable. Their facility is spotless, cozy, and very relaxing, very soothing. You won’t want to leave! And for sure, you will want to come back! Massage therapy is a booming business now. St. Michel’s has been around for a very long time. Their service and fees reflect that. Their quality has stayed excellent and their fees are more than reasonable. I have had only one massage at another location. I have had at least a dozen at St. Michel’s. That’s should speak for itself! Go. Enjoy.

I received a facial and light chemical peel from Kara. She listened to all my concerns about my face and was extremely knowledgeable. This was my very first facial and peel so I was nervous but she took great care of me and made me feel comfortable right away. My face felt amazing when I left. I will definitely be seeing her again.

I visited St. Michel for the first time this week and had a great 60 minute massage. The location is convenient to my house and the scheduling was easy. The entire staff was polite and professional throughout the whole process. The massage itself was a full 60 minutes and very relaxing. I plan to go back soon.

I’ve had plenty of massages but this one was the best! On my Fitbit my sleep said excellent, I have never seen that before. I’m a driver and I’m in a car all day so by Friday my back and shoulder and hips were in extreme pain and I must say I have very little pain!

I wish I knew the name of the young lady who gave me my massage. She was so very kind, she was not a chatty person, let me enjoy the experience of getting a message and the full relaxing enjoyment of being able to go in for my first time not knowing what to do and making my day. For some crazy reason I thought that I no longer needed to get massages since I visit a chiropractor once a month. Wrong! Jessica gave me the best 1 hour deep tissue massage I’ve ever had, and now I can put my socks and boots on without hip pain! I’ve already scheduled my appointment for next month! O. M. G. What an amazing first AND second visit. Great staff, quick customer service, a very relaxing environment, and I feel amazing. I was in a serious wreck in February 2019 and my ankle received a lot of damage. Not to mention scar tissue, tight muscles from the impact, and built up lactic acid, my body was in poor muscle condition. After my first visit, some motion was restored to my ankle! In a recent orthopedic appointment, the surgeon remarked about the increased movement! I will be back for more!

I had a great message here yesterday. The masseuse listened to me and was genuinely trying to help with the issues I told her about.I didnt leave without scheduling my next appointment! Ive been using this spa for a few years. They are a great find in our tiny town.

I think I had the best massage of my life Friday with Virginia. She *LISTENED* to my issues and responded by addressing the pain Ive had in my neck. I could immediately feel relief... I could even breathe better. I will be back for sure !

I have been going to St.Michel DaySpa for a while, there have been two instances where I was not pleased. And one was definitely on 6/30, Sarah was my therapist, that smelled as if she had just finished eating corn chips. Upon arrival I go in and the owner is in the hallway discussing therapist with clients, no greeting no welcome in. I am finding these establishments are becoming more rude than ever. Then I had to ask my therapist at the end about the cupping method. Needless to say I have 37.00 left on my gift card that will go to waste. I have to find another better where my face will not be rubbed with corn chip or dorito hands. I another no lavender for relaxation or anything. I left feeling a if I had just received a normal back rub and not a relaxing massage.

We had very good massages and the staff is very friendly. I would visit this location again.

I can’t remember if her name is Veronica or Virginia. She gave me the ultimate best massage ever! In fact she released the stiffness in my hips so well, I will be going back to her in two weeks.

Jessica was wonderful, she has magic hands for sure. She had just the right pressure for me and I was not sore at all the next day! I would recommend her to all my family and friends for sure!

This place is amazing! I absolutely recommend everyone to get a massage just once in their life. Everyone working there is great and respectful. I dont feel uncomfortable being naked, and leave feeling so relaxed. I almost feel drunk lol!

I made appointment and on the day of my time to go in and i was working over and didnt know if i can make it on time . I called and they were really understanding. I did make it on time and i had Jesscia she was Great! I had some back pain in a spot and she was very careful. Very Professional. St. Michel is my go-to place for a therapeutic massage. Friendly staff, quick turnaround in scheduling; I never waited longer than 2 days from the time I scheduled. Michelle is the best message therapist and individualizes based on needs.

Jessie was very professional and gave a great signature facial. It was very relaxing and the table even had a warmer so it was nice and cozy. The waiting area is kind of small but overall great place!

Massages need to be the full 60 mins.if getting a 60 min. massage and first room on left needs blinds, etc. it’s super bright!Other than that I’ve been going there since Michelle opened and it’s been great!!

Took me back for my massage as soon as I arrived for my appointment. Very attentive and professional. My one-hour massage lasted the whole hour. It was very relaxing. I would recommend to anyone!

Both my husband and I totally enjoyed our couples massage. We live in Prairieville so the location is perfect for us and we were immediately taken in quickly after we arrived. It is soo relaxing and the staff took the extra attention of asking each of us if there were any areas of either concern that we wanted to pay closer attention to or what we hoped to get out of the massage and they obliged!! I know we will be back!!

Im not sure what I expected from this place. They have come to my place of work to do chair massages and its been pleasant...so I figured I would try this place out when Bumble Lane couldnt accommodate a 2 hour massage. There are no spa amenities...i sat in waiting room until they called me into the room--that looked like it was doubling as a storage closet. The massage table was a basic table (I am used to the heated, extra padded tables) and the massage was just ok. The price was reasonable though and people are friendly. I am not sure if I am just used to Bumble Lane or Aveda...and maybe its unfair to compare to them...but I would rather spend my money elsewhere and pay a few extra bucks for the full spa experience. Will probably not go back.

My husband bought me a ..gift certificate for California dream in package. I made appt. for 10:45. They asked me to be there for 10:30. I got there @ 10:40. I changed some things. I took off hand and feet waxing and the foot bath and added 1 candle candle waxing and hot stones to the massage. The facial was wonderful. It was wonderful. I was wonderfully relaxed when she was finished. The massage, on the otherhand, was not relaxing. It felt rushed and shortened. If it had anything to do with me beingate, I offered to come back to receive part of the package for another date. It all cost $185. I had been there before and got a massage and was very happy with it. Maybe the masseuse was having a bad day. The woman that gave the facial was Kara.Anny Mouton

We moved to Baton Rouge from Lafayette and now Prairieville and were searching for a massage center. We found St Michel Day on the internet. Virginia did my deep tissue and is outstanding. She mentioned she has 10 years of experience and it shows. We are trying out several different masseuse but have to say Virginia is the top at the moment.

Great service but a little shorter step stool to get up on table would be appreciated The one you have is ok but makes it difficult to climb up that high with bad knees & back. I feel like I’m going to tip it over & fall
