Had a really great start to my experience, great facial from the absolute best Sara R. Then I had scheduled a massage. Of course, I got out of my facial appointment a couple minutes before and sat and waited .... and waited .... and waited until 3:20, (my appointment was suppose to start at 3:00 for my massage) when I finally asked the manager, is my person here ( I dont want to describe, because it isnt their fault, but I am again unpleased by this managers, unprofessionalism. This is the 2nd time in 5 months that I have had a run in with this manager, Abbie. I get it, its hard to find good help. So, her response to my question, was let me call them and find out where they are. Keep in mind, I was sitting in the lobby where Abbie was with the other employees. So they knew I was waiting. Abbie comes back from the office area, after texting the employee, and states she heard from the employee and the ETA is 45 minutes. Abbie, then asked, did you request this person. My reply, Yes, I did. So I also asked, how are you going to comp me for this (again) mishap. Evidently, it isnt important enough for Abbie to manage her employees and make sure the customers are satisfied. Abbie promptly says, I can offer you an appointment with someone else. I said, nope I made an appointment for this specific person and I dont want an appointment with someone else. Abbies response to me was, I tried to offer you an alternative with having a massage with someone else. You declined. Abbie states at this point, I will have to think about it and I will give you a call back later today and leaves the lobby area in the middle of our conversation and goes into her office. We were in the middle of a conversation and she walks out. Needless to say, she didnt come back out and I didnt get a call back from her. It is clear that the success of a location, begins with the management present. This is the worst experience that I have ever had due to management. Their policy, if you dont cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged for the full service. What is the policy if you are there and your person, doesnt show up? The alternative isnt to go with someone else that is available, note to Abbie. That happened to customer service, to rectify your poor management skills to the client?

The owner REALLY needs to fix/update the HSA issue that considers my account “suspended” every month. For about 2 years now I have had to tell the person who answers the phone that I am NOT suspended that they have to “look in the other drawer” or something like that. This is extremely frustrating bc it wont allow me to use the app either…I’m editing this review and just lowered original rating to a one star. The owner’s response to a link does nothing! I noticed he/she puts it on most responses. Also, I’ve cancelled my membership or at least I’m in the process bc the manager isn’t in the office AGAIN today and no one can do that but her. I left her a message last week, 7 days ago and she still hasn’t responded which is the final straw for me and why I’m cancelling. called her last week to discuss a couple of issues but apparently she doesn’t care or she would have returned my calls. NO ONE is that busy! My husband is part owner of a business way bigger than ME and he returns all calls same day. POORLY RUN!

My wife bought me a $150 massage for Valentine’s Day as a surprise. The receptionist put the incorrect date in when she set the appointment.Massage envy sent me a text that states to confirm the appt which I did, unknowing what was going on. I confirmed it for the wrong date (my fault but I didn’t really know what was going on). Then forgot to ask my wife about it.They charged us for the $150 with no refund. We also had $30 left on the gift card which was to be used as a tip but Massage Envy wouldn’t refund that. So my wife is sad that she spent $180 on a teachers salary for a ruined surprise.It’s a shame to see such poor customer service and disregard for people they claim to want to help.

Called this morning on a Sunday to cancel my massage appointment at 12pm because I woke up congested and coughing. The receptionist was very sweet and understanding but had to call me back to tell me his manager told him I needed a doctors note. It’s a Sunday so I’d need to go to urgent care just to get a doctors note… last thing I want to do is drive to urgent care when I just want to lay in bed. So the fee isn’t waived and I’m charged the cancellation fee. No compassion at all.

I had a full body massage with Jennifer K. and she was excellent. She listened to my areas of concern and made sure to target those with the perfect light-medium pressure. I liked her techniques more than others Ive tried, especially her arm/shoulder movements. I would definitely schedule with her again.

If I could give Zero stars I would very unprofessional I scheduled a massage just to come and wait for 30 mins then 10 more minutes to tell me they couldn’t find my massage therapist and I needed to reschedule! They gave me a coupon for inconvenience just TO TELL ME I COULD’NT USE IT AT THAT LOCATION WHEN I CAN BACK‼️ This place is a joke PLEASE don’t go here🙏🏽

#selfcare. This was an Awesome experience for me. Kudos to Laura who was my caretaker. You dont realize how much stress you carry from family, children, work, and lifes ups and downs. This was very emotional for me and I think because I took the time to say....you need this. I would recommend everyone female or male try this at least once. Laura ....thank you!!! Got a membership last month, I was told if i signed up I could enjoy the membership benefits but if I had to cancel i could pay the full price and cancel my membership any time. Called today to cancel my membership since I did not great experience for my first massage. Apparently I had signed a 12 month contract which was not conveyed appropriately and now I am forced to go and relax my mind and body in a place which has a poor massage and customer service as you can see the details were not conveyed appropriately while signing up. I signed up after being told I could cancel my membership anytime. My only way out of this is to get a doctor certificate stating I cannot get a massage or pay monthly for the membership for 12 months without taking any session. Unbelievable!! Please make sure to read the hidden clauses presented to you in the ipad, just 10 min before your session as the most important clause is not conveyed to you verbally.

Booked a stretch session here. Staff called and canceled morning of because the individual I booked does not work with males. Offered no alternative. Booked a second session with a different therapist. Arrived only to to told they too do not work with males.Asked to speak with management through several forums and management has refused to speak with me.Stay away from this place.

I worked here years ago. One of the employees at the front desk was steeling the therapists tips. The manager a relative of the owner did nothing about it and fired a random person. They will do anything to sell a membership including selling one to a gentleman with alzhimers who couldnt remember the name of his daughter who was with him. This place is sad and gross.

I have been coming to this location for about 8 months now. And it has been nothing but short of amazing! Everyone from the front desk to the massage therapist are GREAT! Every time I come in I am greeted by Deirdre by my first name that itself is excellent service to make me feel special every time I come in. But I do want to say that Larissa was the latest massage therapist and she was Excellent and very good at making it an WOW experience for me. She was very professional and friendly and just someone to take care of my self-care. But this is an amazing location with amazing staff!! Highly recommended

We have had nothing but trouble since I booked a massage package for my husband in June. Abby, the assistant manager is TERRIBLE. I have never dealt with somebody so unprofessional. She hung up on me on more than one occasion and was not willing to help us cancel the membership. The massage therapist canceled three times in one month and my husband was unable to use his membership package and we were not able to get a refund. Do not go here! Waste of $

I always go to the Myrtle Beach location for facials, but while in Raleigh I needed a massage which I scheduled. After making the appointment I got a text asking if I wanted to add a facial. I thought that sounds great.BIG mistake!! Worst facial ever!! Not only a bad facial but she ended 10 minutes early AFTER starting late. I shouldnt have been charged for that service!! I read the reviews about bad facials...well believe them all at this location!!!My massage was awesome. Leah worked out every knot I had. I will go back to her.

I have had a membership for years and had a great massage therapist at a different location that was amazing, but she left about a year ago. Since then I have tried several others that were ok, but just not amazing. Today I found my new massage therapist and her name is Leah! She was amazing!!! She does Stretch and Deep Tissue Massage, which are the two things my body needs. Cant wait for my next appointment!

Get the membership they said, cancel anytime they said... I should have read the fine print. Its cancel anytime after the initial 12 months. The contract says typically when is should say something concrete like definitely or absolutely. Learn from me, pay attention to the wording.

Last year I was having back problems from a rollerblading accident and I signed up for their membership since I had the time to get the problem looked at, upon signing up they gave me a pass for a free 60min massage from between jun2021-june2022. I thought it was weird since I already signed up for a membership which ensured perks like that. So I asked the front desk attendant if I could give it to my gf as a gift for her to redeem and they said yes it was fine. I gave it as a give for her birthday last year. She goes in to redeem it yesterday and she showed the pass to the front desk attendant who took it and said nothing along the lines that she wouldn’t be able to accept it and allows my girlfriend in the back for her massage and then hours later they charge her for the massage and say they can’t accept the pass because it wasn’t hers to use. Which I understand policy but why accept the pass then charge her after the service has been done, that’s borderline entrapment which is odd to be happening from a reputable company. I’m upset because I feel gaslighted and envy that my gf was charged for a service I was told would be free.

Came in for an appointment only to have my appointment cancelled. I understand emergencies happen, but why have me wait and come in if the esthetician had an emergency. Felt like this could have been communicated prior to me coming in rather than me driving to this location and having wasted time. Will try another location from now on.

So sad about my experience at this spa. I first booked a massage and a facial back to back and the staff double booked my room for my facial. I had to wait 15-20 minutes while the staff visibly fought in front of me or in the room beside me about who was wrong about the location.My massage was great. However, the rest of my experience has completely ruined my perception of this spa.Once I finally got into my facial, it went fine. I left and went home. Within a few days my skin (which I’ve never had any issues with before more than 3 or 4 pimples when I was in highschool) starts breaking out in painful dry itchy cystic acne. Then my eye started to swell and crust and I got a stye. I have only had one stye before in middle school. My whole face was in pain for days and has been on and off dry and painful since. My skin is still in pain, I have NEVER experienced anything like this. I question if the tools she used were even cleaned before usage.I messaged the spa and they never apologized, didn’t offer any refund (even as a member of their monthly plan) or even try to resolve the problem. Instead they said it was normal. It has been 3-4 weeks since my facial and I’m still experiencing side effects. Stay away from this place. The head of esthetics emailed me and offered me a gentle facial, however, I do not trust this place touch my face.I responded to him on Friday and he still hasn’t responded today, Wednesday evening. I’m mostly upset with how they have responded to this situation than my skin problem, but my skin is a constant reminder.I regularly go to the Cameron village location and have never had any issue, I will stick to that location from now on.

I decided to give them a 2nd chance. About a year & 1/2 ago I called to make an appointment & they were so unorganized they didnt know what way was up.Fast forward to now, I called to set an appointment & was told I have to give a card to secure my time. A garbage policy since last time I tried they couldnt even schedule me. I live 500ft away from them, they lost another customer & word of mouth travels fast(being I was referred to them from a neighbor & decided to give them another chance)

The customer service is less than desirable and they charge you for everything. You pay a monthly fee and anytime you make a reasonable request ( cancelling a massage) with them they want to charge you for it. I have been a member for over a year and will be ending my membership today!!!! Not to mention they send you a letter 2 weeks before they decide to increase your membership that is on automatic draft!!! Not impressed at all.

Booked a prenatal massage to surprise my wife, who has been having some back pain with her pregnancy. They said they had to confirm the therapist was certified to do prenatal, and called me the next day to say she was able to do it. As we are literally on our way to the appointment, fifteen minutes before were due to arrive, we get a call saying the therapist isnt prenatal certified and is unable to do it. How do you take a day to confirm something and yet still be wrong? Great impression on a first time customer. We will never go here.

Management at this location needs to be replaced. Always problems with billing. Not considerate about immune compromised people not being able to go due to Covid. They think Cove it’s over and so there’s nothing to worry about anymore but they are wrong and not everyone applies to their thoughts. They charge bank accounts all weekends so when you call they say oh you have to wait till management comes in on Monday and two days later still no call back for management. Management

I cant speak for all Massage Envy locations but I was not pleased with the customer service provided by this location. The manager Rebecca specifically. It seems as if the main concept of the business is not to provide exceptional service as the #1 priority to its members but to make as much money as they can. This location is not willing to accommodate a member unless they are charging some ridiculous fee.I had an afternoon appointment and there was an earlier appointment available. In order for me to take that earlier appointment on the same day 4 hours earlier with another therapist, I had to be charged an additional fee that was half of what I originally paid. I was told by the manager that for me to take the earlier appointment wouldnt be fair to the therapist that I had a later appointment with.This is business, are you kidding me. If its about being fair then youre telling me paying an additional fee makes it fair, no, paying an additional fee allows the business to make more money without providing the service off an appointment that they could not fill.Massage Envy is not the only place that provide this type of service. Ill take my business and money to a service provider that value members and understand the importance of accommodating its members without a fee. This was not a cancelation it was moving an appointment to an earlier slot that was available. Even the Drs offices dont charge for you to take an earlier appointment that is available.

Went in for a couples massage in April of 2016 for my husband birthday. I had the worst experience, had a man (he was in training). I made my complaint to the manager , she stated they would put it in the system for me to come in and have it redone, she said you can come in at any time it will never expire. Really, I went to make my appointment for my redo massage and of course they said they are under new management and they have know record of it. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN.I will not be returning to this location ever.

Go see Camille at the North Hills location. Hands down the best neck and shoulder massage I have ever had!!!. She is very sweet and has a very kind Spirit. She is eager to please and easily adjust the pressure to your comfort level. The location itself is a bit cramped. North Hills is entirely too congested with all the businesses trying to move into that very small space. If this location would find a different spot I would give it more stars. But in any case Camille - as I described above she is worth the inconvenience.

UPDATE - I received the reply from review and I have contacted the location twice and left message for the managers but i have not received a call back. I will contact them one more time and then escalate to the corporate office. *** My massage therapist had a cold!!! My daughter sent me there as a birthday present. 1st, my daughter paid for aromatherapy but they were out of oils but still charged for it. 2nd, this was my first time ever and I believe it had the potential to be relaxing if my massage therapists didnt have a cold. He was sniffing, clearing his throat, coughing mucus. He even sneezed and did not clean hands after. I had to listen to him drink his water. This was horrible and I was unable to relax. You should not perform a massage in such close proximity if you have a cold. Dont know if I will return.

Already kind of turned off from this location. I made an appt weeks ago from a gift card my husband gave me, was told that I have to put a credit card on file that will be charged if I cancel with less than 24 hours notice. Literally on my way there, 20 minutes before Im supposed to be there, and they call and say sorry she cant do it today and thats it. :/ You didnt know this any sooner? What will I get for my time that was wasted with such short notice? Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth, still on the fence if I want to reschedule or not.

Wife took my spot. Had her first relaxing massage vs deep tissue. Massage was as expected. She felt like she expected after the massage. Once she isnt quite so post-partam she will go back to deep tissue. We have both been going to this location for over a year and have therapists we really enjoy.

I went in to get message from Britney, but when she was going to message me, she asked if I knew I had a tick on me? I told her know I didn’t know, then she offered to get it off. She left the room and about 5 minutes later she came back and refused to give me a message. I told her I would take the tick off, but she still refused to give me a message. It was a Mother’s Day present that didn’t happened. So if you have her make sure you have no ticks, because if you do you won’t be getting a message!!!! 😡

Therapist was sold as a Medium to deep. She in fact was very light. Ruff hands so it made my skin very irritated. Her technique was ok for light, but not what I was told I would get.When I got into the room she asked any areas in particular I said yes. She then performed her usual massage with no extra focus on the areas bothering me.Informed front desk. I was told the Chiropractor would provide a better massage experience based on what I wanted. No offer of making it right.

Front desk was helpful in scheduling my appointment while explaining the different styles and abilities available. Instead of paperwork check in they use iPads. They used more of the hour session for actual work, not to much waiting time. I was given stretches and techniques to keep everything from tightening up. Overall great session, with the price of add-ons not being to expensive when paired with introductory rate.

They were late bringing me back for my 1.5 hr massage then during my massage my masseuse kept yawning and finally fell asleep! Wow NEVER again! Worst ever. Then told me a story about how her and another masseuse were doing a couples massage and the other masseuse fell asleep Id guess to see if I noticed she fell asleep during mine. Well yes I noticed I woke you up! Unprofessional and never ever again

I love getting facials at ME north hills. Sarah is my girl I went to her for a little over a year before covid hit. She listens to me and what my skin needs and I never have harsh break outs after a visit with her. Its sooooo relaxing sometimes I doze off. If you really want to treat yourself get a back facial and a facial back to back and you wont regret it. I plan to resume with her after things calm down a little.

I feel like Ive been man-handled by an over caffinated Lobster. The massage was a barrage of fast hands and strokes with no rhyme or reason to the service at all. Her hands were so sharp and stabby it was quite painful even after asking for a lighter pressue. She completely disregarded my requests and acted like I was the largest inconvenience of her entire life. I gave one star for the front desk girl as she was lovely and very kind. Dont go here unless getting pulverized is your idea of relaxation.

Massage was terrible. She hardly massaged at all and it was very light. She was friendly but massage was lacking and rushed. she did not even rub my face or head at all and only spent about a minute on each arm and leg. Tried to change to another time the same day and was going to be charged a fifty percent fee. waste of time and money. I left in tears. Dont go here.

It has been a chore and a half to try and cancel my membership. Theyll say its cancelled and another location will also say its cancelled, but I was still getting charged. The way they have their system set up is so archaic and screwy it doesnt surprise me that this is basically a monthly occurrence.
