Farotage Nation Lounge

If going on Friday is $20 and no one shows up till about 11:30pm and they close at 2:30am. Only 1 floor till Saturday then 2 floors. No drink specials. No food. It was ok would not come back. Spent about 160 between 3 people getting in and 6 drinks. The music was on point but over priced.

I flew in with family that wanted an African vibe, in hindsight it was better for me to have had a house party. A weekend meant to be fun ended up traumatized with loss of property. From reading other reviews it looks like they try to figure out who gives a bad review instead of addressing issues they just retaliate. Needless to say, that will be absolutely the last time I ever step a foot in this club. Ive always brought family and friends here and have always stepped in to help people that security treats unfairly and with excessive force. You can visit this place but hope to God you dont offend their egos. Youve never seen a rough day until youve gotta experience their guards and the management team. Save your money go where youll be valued as a customer. Like this is America men, leave the unnecessary power trips out of your business. Itll eventually bite you.

Security is bias and racial Ive been there multiple times no issue I had one drink and got put out I didnt cause no issue I was there for 20 minutes Im a regular I asked to see the owner security denied I would not recommend this place ever again I got no refund nothing I will be suing I asked multiple times what did I do and they never answered jus pushed me out so yea I was abused and humiliated and damaged I didnt feel safe

Went here last night for my birthday and it was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 music was bomb drinks were bomb vibe was on point and a nice crowd!!! Will definitely be back here but next time I’ll have on flat shoes 🤪 shoutout to the ladies behind the bar!!

My wife and I decided to go to Farotage Nation Lounge Saturday while we were visiting NC. I easily reserved a VIP Section (highly recommend) with Andre ahead of time. We got there early to pregame. When we arrived we were greeted by Andre, and the fun began. Andre and the bartenders had the best customer service. Everything was perfect. The club was clean, dope lighting/effects, the drinks/bottles were great, the DJ was on point. We were on the Reggae side most of the night but the DJ played all types of music. We danced all night. The vibes were great all around everyone was nice and having a great time. Then they brought out some great food to help soak up the alcohol before the end of the night. That just topped everything off perfectly. I cant say enough how great everything and everyone was. We will definitely be back. I definitely recommend this lounge!

I’ve been going to this place for years. However last night…. I made the mistake of not get my change back in cash from the woman working the front door register. Whoever it is that was working the front door register on 6/24-25/2023 at 1:45 am - should no longer serve this community of people coming in late. She is not an honest person. I was given my wrist band and charged $30 for entering at 1:45am the club was about to close. I gave her $40 - she did not give me me $10 in change back. If I go back I will never use cash again! It wasn’t even worth the money.

I was visiting with my family from NY. Great music, everyone was very friendly. We were celebrating my daughter inlaw birthday. We plan on going back again Thanksgiving weekend w family.

Medium sized (two dance rooms, two sets of bathrooms), fun club, reminds me of clubs in Queens, NY because of the interior design and the music they play (R&B + Afrobeat).They have performances, open mics, and other events and the owner, Andre, is very kind.

My husband and I visited last night for the first time and we had a blast. We have visited the Caribbean many times and always enjoy the party scene. This place is so unique to Raleigh. You sometimes find reggae in clubs here but not often do you get to hear dance hall played! The atmosphere was great! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Our bartender was so sweet and she made me an awesome rum punch! We will for sure be back again!!

3rd this year at Farotage, the Carribean side is just very off compared to last year. Today, they played reggae for 3 hours. It shouldn’t be about what the DJ likes but what the crowds like. We go to farotage for a reason, if we want to hear regular music we could go downtown and that’s it.Again, you guys need to reevaluate your playlist because it is getting worse every time I go back there and it’s not worth the entrance fee!!!

Great spot. 2 clubs in one location. Dj was great with the selections. Lots of African, Jamaican, American and Caribbean music. Went on a Saturday and crowds was about 60% Men and 40% women. They charge $20 each. I wish they would do a ladies night (FREE). Overall its a great spot and everyone is welcomed!😊

I took my hubby out this past weekend for his birthday. We live in VA so this was our first visit & I can honestly say that we truly enjoyed ourselves! Its a rare opportunity to go out & be among strangers & no one is being rude. It was all love as well as a great atmosphere! The owner was also very cordial & security was on point & friendly as well. Hope to visit again soon!

I attended a Caribbean event and really enjoyed myself, the place is nicely setup and had friendly service.

One of the best clubs I’ve ever been to. A night filled with fun, amazing music, and great people. When I tell you I had the time of my life at this place. The energy can’t be matched. It’s a place you have to experience for yourself, my few words won’t do it justice.

Great place but please get rid of the short, brown-skinned girl with the facial piercings at the reggae bar… Good God, she’s rude and mean. I’m not the only person that noticed. No wonder everyone prefers the Afro Pop side. This girl is scaring away your customers… Seriously, she’s awful.

Went to the R&B event, and it was okay. My problem is I got 3 shots of ciroc, and I was charged 3 different prices. $15, $10 & $12. Dont know whats going on, but prices should be the same.

The crowd was slightly dead on the Afro-beat side. The reggae side had great music and a decent feel. The bartenders had great customer service skills and were really upbeat and nice. It was however OVERPRICED and the experience was not worth $15 per person as it was just an okay spot.

The three stars are for the dj. The music was it. However, the building is too open for all these yungins to just be staring in one another’s face. You would think good music, alcohol, and friends equal unapologetic dancing. It wasn’t like that, seems like everyone was scared. Nonetheless, my patron margarita was strong and the food truck outside was bomb.com. I would go back again on a 25+ night or something.

The atmosphere was cool for both sides I was there with friends I had a drink, well I actually couldnt get into the music, love reggae music with more nice beats to them( never can go wrong with Bob Marley). Im more in the old school kinda reggae,the welcome greeters were real nice people had them laughing which made my night, I would go visit again.

Had a great time. Staff was friendly, drinks weren’t expensive, music was good and the atmosphere was good. Definitely recommend.

A very nice place to listen to island music!

My cousin and I both Trini women came for a visit and was looking for some culture. I was impress that they actually played up to date Caribbean music ( most damn south Caribbean clubs always play out of date music lol) they could’ve played a lil more Soca music though. VIP could’ve given a better choice of bottles for $400 but over all we had a great time. Dance whole night away.

The ambience is unmatched in Raleigh, the bars, the two rooms, the music, the employees , the whole experience, grown sexy and no standing on the wall vibe and ever changing upgrades. The epitome of nightlife!

The security guard was being rude toward us and aggressive. Do not give the place one star an honest feedback you will no longer be allowed to enter Farotage Nation Lounge by the owners, if they found out you did.

Jamaican music & African music on other side. Woman I was waiting to meet came extremely late. Then when she came with her girlfriends, she didnt think Id notice her. Luckily I had a backup plan with another lady friend who called you check up on me.

Great Staff, Great music, great patrons! I cant remember the Bartenders but, she was absolutely Stunning!! Come through and check it out.

THIS CLUB IS GARBAGE CHARGE 20.00 TO ENTER 11.00 FOR DRINK.TAKE MY ADVICE TO MANY FREE CLUBS IN DOWNTOWN RALEIGH TO GO AT BARTENDERS MAKE WATER DRINKS LOL.. GO DOTOWN YOU WILL HAVE BETTER TIME THAT CLUB IS STRAIGHT GARBAGE
