Absolutely wonderful experience. Your staff are fantastic. The space is peaceful and relaxing. Love the thoughtful touches of hot tea and water, etc. Audrey is an unbelievable therapist. I have followed her on her journey to finding the right place for her talent. I’m thrilled with the experience.

Weve been members now for about 3 months- great facility, great massages and facials. They really tailor your experience to your needs and wants in regards to lotions, music, heating, robe types, etc. My only complaint is that you really need to book in advance to get who you want, when you want and what you paid for (we are a Premium membership but the last visit we could not get an 80 minute slot that worked for us, so we had to settle for a 60 minute instead)- we are now making our appointments 3 months in advance and hoping we dont need to change it in the hopes that we are able to maintain our membership and continue to get what we are paying for. Side note: I could have taken a credit and paid for the 60 minute massages but Id just end up with an extra credit as itd be unlikely that I could go 2 times in one month.

I have been 7 yr member of Spavia as a gift from my husband. I have never had so much help in taking care of myself with monthly massages and facials. The staff has always impressed me each visit with their caring help, as well as sweet spirited accommodation of my needs. I always feel pampered, cared for and treated like I am important to each of them. This experience continues to be such a blessing to me!Thankful,Vicki Ingersoll

I had a great experience with the whole crew with Spavia Reno today! I had my first ever massage, a maternity massage with Priscilla, and felt completely comfortable with everyone the whole time! Thank you so much to the whole team at Spavia Reno for the amazing time on my birthday.

Audrey did my Maternity massage and was absolutely amazing!!!! Highly recommend her and this facility for any pregnant mommas as it is so peaceful and allows you time to relaxe and feel human again!

Went in for a deep tissue sports massage and it was a wonderful experience. Brad gave a great massage and worked out a lot of kinks in my shoulders and neck!

Stephanie is the best massage therapist I have had in the years I have been a member. Today, I tried cupping. I was in really bad pain and she spotted the areas that were tight, and I left the salon pain free. I plan on rescheduling with her.

My husband and I had a couples massage this morning with Morgan and Brad. The massages themselves were fantastic! The atmosphere of the entire spa was very clean and relaxing. Our whole experience from the time we walked in the door was wonderful. Everyone we interacted with was polite and helpful and if we lived locally, wed definitely be signing up for memberships. As it is, we will certainly be back on our next trip to Reno!

Today, 5/15, I had the pleasure of a massage from Elise. What a wonderful 80 minutes of massage and relaxation. She is always smiling and caring. Listens to your areas of concern. When I left I was totally relaxed. I think I dosed a couple of times during the treatment.

I had an essential massage from Elise today. I came into Spavia stressed and left so relaxed! Elise applied the correct amount of pressure that I like and transformed me into a relaxed state of mind! The warm towel under my neck, the neck and head massage was an extra bonus that I appreciated with my full body massage! Thank you!

I will not be using them again because they did not honor a $50 gift card as they said it expired. In many states, it is illegal for a business to have gift cards with an expiration date. Im not sure about Nevada. Regardless, I will not give such a place my money in the future and will tell my friends as well.

My aesthetician was phenomenal. Her skills were felt as she gave me a relaxing facial. I will see her again.

I couldn’t tell you the name of the therapist my girlfriend had during our couples massage, I don’t think he introduced himself. Long story short; I don’t know who hired this guy. He ripped her hair out when it got stuck in his chair, didn’t hardly massage her hands, feet, or arms. And instead spent the whole time contorting her body in weird positions and karate chopping her. We’re gonna have to get a new massage because he was so aggressive and rough that her body legitimately hurts. She also didn’t feel like he was making sure her body was covered at several points during this weird experience, which included pouring hot oil directly onto her body. My therapist on the other hand was great, used perfect pressure, and did a whole body massage. 2 stars because the other therapists we’ve had have been great.

My husband and I LOVE our monthly couples massages at Spavia. Great staff and pricing. Nick is the absolute best, gives the right amount of pressure and focuses on all of the right areas every single time. I leave their feeling amazing every single time. I also recently had Kara Lee when Nick wasn’t available and she was spot on! My husband has had others and has always been pleased as well.

My massage therapist of choice is Nick.He is so intuitive, good natured and polite. His technique is above par and his knowledge on muscles and where they connect, and how they effect each other impressive. As always my massage was amazing, leaving me feeling not only able to move better but rejuvenated. The only thing that would have made this better was if it was located in Spanish Springs… but it’s still worth the drive and every penny!

The therapists were amazing. The relaxation room was cozy. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful.I did a spa package which included lunch. The treatments were perfectly spaced apart. Such a great way to reward and take some time for yourself.

Absolutely coming back! Scheduled a last minute couples massage and was able to get in within the same week. The massage was amazing and gave us the nice reset that we desperately needed. The only regret we have is that we didn’t schedule more time. The welcoming environment made our experience easy for us first timers and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to unwind for an evening.

Nick is my choice when it comes to massages. He really is amazing at what he does. Front desk staff are always nice and friendly. I’ve been to a few Spavia’s throughout the US, the summit location is my favorite.

I bought this monthly subscription for my wife for Christmas and shes very happy with it!

Massage was great.Unfortunately my scheduled 80 minute massage turned into a 60 minute massage. We arrived about 8 minutes early to complete forms and then we were ushered into the changing room to change into robes. We were not advised to hurry/rush in any way as that the longer we took it would cut into our massage time.

I had a soothing recovery facial today with Rosa and it was wonderful. Very relaxing and my skin looks and feels great. I also appreciated the extra accommodations spavia did for me.. Im currently breastfeeding so I needed to pump while I was there and they made sure I had a room to comfortably pump in. It was a great first mom-getaway experience for me, being 10 weeks postpartum.I plan to return for my birthday.

I had a 80 minute deep tissue massage with Alice which was the best massage I had in a while . Alice was fully engaged and concentrating during the massage session and was not even bothered by my snores.I liked that she didn’t chat asking what I do etc and didn’t try to strike up small conversations, even though I see her for the very first time and let me enjoy the massage undistracted .

TL;DR:Appointment was booked incorrectly by staff member, massage was cut short by 10 mins, charged normal price, ignored email correspondence. Made me pay for their mistake.Great massage therapist, but customer service needs to be worked on, clearly..UPDATE:Dropped 2 stars, from 3 to 1, for customer service.The spa manager, Amanda, reached out to me by phone a few days after my review. I was at work so I asked her to call back after a few hours. She said she would but never did.I received an email the following day that she tried to call me but the phone number was “not working”. No voicemail so who knows..Amanda tried to pull the same trick that the front desk person tried when I came in, and give me a $20 off for my next visit. The $20 off everyone gets on their first time! I’m not sure if everyone’s massage is also cut by 10 minutes to accommodate this generosity. I emailed her back same day but never heard back. It’s been 2.5 weeks! Amanda’s follow up skills need a little dust up, because apparently she doesn’t call back when she says she would, and ignores clients emails.Great job! I was a business manager for over 7 years until recently, and I would NEVER ignore an email from my clients, as it is simply unprofessional.I was seriously considering making this my husband and my go-to place in Reno, but it doesn’t matter how good the massage is, this is not the service I want to receive.ORIGINAL REVIEW:My massage therapist was 5/5, the 2 stars I deducted are for whoever booked my husband and my appointments over the phone, weeks ago, and completely messed up our times, duration and type of massage.We arrived 15 mins early, as instructed, but because of this mishap and time wasted sorting out this mess, my massage started late and was cut short of the 60 mins. I normally get 90 min massages but settled for 80 because this is what was offered. The scheduling mishap made my massage 20 min shorter, and figuring this mess made my massage 5-10 mins shorter.The massage therapist, Felipe, was excellent, great hands, perfect pressure and powerful technique.I went into the massage already feeling not-so great knowing it’s 20 mins less than what I booked, but cutting it 5-10 min shorter was just unacceptable. I still tipped because I didn’t want to punish the therapist, who worked hard and did his part, but I still left feeling wronged and not happy about this.As a respectable, reputable business, figure it out.. It was not my fault and I definitely did not deserve to pay for your mistake.

Stephanie at Spavia is a consummate professional! She is very attended to the body and your reaction to massage. As far as the services go, Spavia has a great variety to use my membership credits on! Just wish I was home more to use them!

Been to spavia a handful of times and its always been wonderful. I always go for the deep tissue massage and the massage therapists are really good at rubbing out those knots. This last time I saw Jess and she did a great job on my shoulder that was paining me.

Felipe read my mind when it came to my sore muscles and the pressure I wanted. He went above and beyond my expectations even though this was my second massage with him.

I have been to Spavia twice now. I first got a massage and then a facial and both experiences were wonderful! The staff is so kind and helpful. I love that everything is so clean!

I would highly recommend Spavia. The staff is very friendly and the spa provides a quiet, clean atmosphere. I have been receiving facials from Tacy on a regular basis and each time she does a fantastic job. My skin used to be dry but now it looks and feels incredible.

Woman on the phone was very nice but after I gave her my card info to book my reservation she said she couldnt book me and my partner due to a complication of there being another coupke already booked. I dont doubt that but it definitely made me uncomfortable right after giving her sensitive information. In her defense I should have thought to book further in advance and not last minute.

Massage was awesome! So good and refreshing.Had a facial as well same day and it was only okay. The individual who performed the service had long and sharp nails which were good for extractions but pinched the skin on my arms a lot when she was doing the massage - it was really uncomfortable and kind of hurt. She also got some product in my eye when rubbing it on my face because she was doing it sort of vigorously. Overall the facial wasnt very pleasant.Would get a massage here again, would skip the facial.EDIT in response to owner: Im not sure if she was using her fingernails or the extraction tool on my face because my eyes were closed - I assumed she was using both, but perhaps it was just the tool. Hard to tell. However, regardless, I definitely felt her nails during the arm massage, they pinched a lot.

My husband and I love coming every month to the spa. They take such great care of us. Spavia is clean, quiet, and welcoming. Nick and Stephanie are the best at our 100 minute massages! Eases all of the wear and tear we put on our bodies for sure!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I treated myself for my birthday in February. I started with a facial. Megan was very calming. Then it was on to my Fijian scalp massage and full body massage. Daryl is the best! Highly recommendSecond visit...I signed up for a monthly membership. Absolutely love pampering myself at this place.

The receptionist service has always been warm, friendly and helpful when I have called, and upon my first visit there. I was delighted by my first experience there - the spa is nice, comfortable and clean, including the womens locker room ,waiting room and treatment room. My massage therapist was friendly, knowledgeable about various muscle groups, and provided a firm (like I like it), therapeutic and relaxing massage. My husband and I signed up for the monthly membership and I cant wait for my next massage. Also, I plan to try other treatments such as the facial.

I’ve been coming regularly to Spavia for a couple years now and find it a very comfortable place. I just saw Nick for a massage and had a really good experience. He’s also very knowledgeable about the muscles and how to prevent athletic injuries! I learned a lot. They also give sports massages here so excited to try that also! Thank you !

Ive had a membership for a year now and have enjoyed every facial until today. I had someone who was new and she was terrible. She missed part of the treatment (the hot stone massage) and her massages felt like someone just rubbing my arm and not a massage. I loved my regular I went to but she has since left. Ive tried a few others but havent found someone I like as much as her. Ill try a few more times and then cancelmy membership.

I had a facial done with Rebecca, and it was the best one I have ever had! Before you arive for your appointment you get in a comfy robe + slippers which was so relaxing. My skin was so soft and glowy after. They even have membership options which save you money!

Irina did a wonderful job. I only wish I had more time for her to do my whole body. I will reschedule with her. She was excellent for me. She listen to me and did what I needed.

I dont see myself going anywhere but here. There is not a single thing I can complain about. The experience was amazing as is. Consistent quality every visit. I saw Morgan today for a massage and Devynne for a facial (my wife makes me get them) and both were excellent! Devynne knew so much, recommended products that were needed + explained why. Fair prices.As for Morgan - I was in an accident a few years ago and deal with chronic pain in my back and she relieved so much of my pain!! I wanted to cry from relief. I also want to note how professional the front desk staff is. I was blown away by the cleanliness of the spa and overall experience.

I was able to start making appointments here easily online and continue booking monthly massages with no hassle - even with the 80 and 100 minutes of deep tissue. Amazing massages for a really great price point.

Wow! Where do I start?I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Spavia. I have been to lots of spas, clinics and the like over the years, however, this one is truly special!From the moment I walked in, the front desk employee was so charming and helpful. I felt very comfortable in this space. I was eager to sign up for a massage membership after the massage too, which I can guarantee you is worth the $.As for the massage itself - O M G. It was great! Nick was wonderful. He was attentive to my problem areas and was mindful about pressure. He made sure that the room, table, and so forth were a comfortable temperature for me. It was evident that hee pays close attention to his clients and works to optimize their experiences.When receiving the massage, I also got to choose my own lotion scent and music! These are nice details to have included in your service, it makes it feel more personalized. I loved the lotions so much I had to buy some! (Treat yo self.) The guava, coconut & orange blossom scents are all SO gorgeous! Im a huge fan of tropical scents - so these were a perfect fit for me.On my way out, I was absolutely SHOCKED when the owner came out to personally greet me, ask how my service was, exc. The fact that she took those few minutes to really show how much she cared about her guests made me feel like a real PERSON, rather than a dollar sign (something that I think we all feel way too often at other businesses). That small but significant gesture meant so much to me, and honestly made my day. I have so much respect for the owner, Merirae, the staff, and this business!!Overall, I truly enjoyed my experience at Spavia. I am so looking forward to going there again. :)

Today I had the seasonal special facial, I can see such a difference with my skin. Winters are tough in Northern Nevada, so I really count on facial treatments to regulate my skin. Gina is always great!

Spavia is my favorite day spa. I have not had a bad experience in 6 years. Glad I became a member.

Loved my experience; the quality for the price cant be beat. A much better deal than getting a treatment at one of the casinos. I also really liked the range of options youre provided with when making your appointment; you can choose what type of music you listen to and even whether or not you want conversation with your esthetician, among other things. It never feels crowded or loud, and the treatment rooms are spacious and sound proof. I already booked another appointment!

Great experience first class in my book!!!!

I received the standard facial and the whole experience felt like I could’ve did the facial myself. She focused more on my décolleté and arms than my face. I felt like I paid for a massage and not a facial. it was too basic and not at all what I expected and I’ve had basic facials and they were great. I was really disappointed, the initial cleanse wasn’t even great. It wasn’t worth my time or money.

Had a wonderful body massage wrap and facial with Tacy. Both were new treatments for me... The body wrap uses towels to wipe off the sugar scrub... Did not know whether I would like it (another type of wrap is to shower it off) but I found this to be so much more relaxing... Nothing to disturb the wrap and facial in between the two. My skin feels so silky and Tacy is wonderful... Liked it so much have scheduled my next appt with Tacy. The staff is always very helpful and friendly they make me feel like I have known them forever. Thank you SpaviaP. S. Now if the waiting area could be transformed into a salt room that would be fantastic.

This place seems to be only after money and not excel in customer service. For this being a Spa the front desk doesn’t do anything but misinform about their membership/credit system leaving you stressed out. Had an appointment a month away and a verbal agreement I could use my credit towards the service. But once I was leaving trying to charge me for the appointment. Claiming you can’t use your credits. I can’t believe I ever gave this place my time and money. I hope they work on there communication for the sake of the other clients.

Love going to Spavia for massages. Their facility is very clean, the front desk staff is great, and all of the massage therapists are amazing. I don’t have a preference for who I see for an appointment because I know everyone who works there will do a wonderful job. Highly recommend!

I LOVE finding time for myself and getting treatments at Spavia. I especially love my facials with Tammy Smith! She is kind, gentle and caring and she truly creates an amazing and relaxing experience every time Im there. The spa is always clean and the environment is very relaxing.

Terrible customer service!! When Spavia has to cancel an appt under 24 hours, then its sorry deal with it. Which, initially I was ok with and understood. BUT when it came to me not being able to make it with less than the 24 hour notice, AND it being my first offense, they did not show the same curtesy. The gal helping me said it was her managers discretion as it was my first offense. BUT the manager chose to charge me AFTER i had understood when THEY canceled on me on short notice. Im using my credits left but will NOT be returning after that. Ive been referring friends to other spas for this reason. Word of mouth is the best marketing and I will continue to express my experience with Spavia.

I am very happy with my membership. I have yet to find a massage therapist that couldnt melt my knots. I love how they respect Im not a talker and just want to be quiet and relax. Their app makes scheduling a breeze. Groupon got me in the door; their customer service and quality of services provided keeps me coming back

I liked the privacy option, that i could select music or silence, and talk or no talk. Christina gave me a wonderful and relaxing treatment session.

If I could give zero stars Id give it negative stars. Malleli up and LEAVES in the beginning of appointments. Was contacted by Anna to confirm the appointment who also says Malleli hasnt missed an appointment. They offered no reason or explanation for cancellation. No one calls or makes arrangements after we drive over an hour to get here. They NEVER honor the full time of 80 minutes (more like 65 because they think you need 15 minutes to change out of a robe and hop on the bed). They never have availability and even if they do they dont tell you they cancel your appointment until youre in the lobby waiting. This happened more than 4 times now so we waste our time, gas, and money. The associates are clueless and the manager, Jan, never returns calls or fixes the situation. Staff (Merirae, who is oblivious of the situation) is upset and tries to blame customer for leaving poor reviews for their unprofessionalism and wont acknowledge their fault. Unprofessional establishment and staff should be fired.

You need to see Kaila at Spavia! I have seen her twice for a 60 minute massage and she has a wonderful touch, she listens to your needs and focus areas and can even find muscular issues you didnt know you had. She can do a wide range of pressures and incorporate techniques seamlessly. Highly recommend!!!

I was really excited to get this massage it had literally been a year since my last one. We showed up super early to fill out info out then were taken in the back after 5:30 when the massage was already supposed to be started. Then the girl didn’t get me until 5:37 and my massage began maybe a few minutes later cause she forgot something. Once it was over and I was dressed I looked at my phone and it was 6:29! Not only did it start 15 minutes late I was rushed out of there. The timer on my massage should have started when she started and it should have been 60 minutes. (What I paid for) such a bummer. I have been in Reno for 18 years and have not experienced this before so will go elsewhere next time.

Horrible customer service!I showed up for a confirmed appointment and the front desk staff informed me that my appointment was canceled. When I showed them the email confirmation I had they told me they remembered someone with my name called and canceled. Obviously I didnt but rather than say there was some sort of clerical error and attempt to right it by rescheduling my appointment they just insisted I must have called and canceled. It was really an easy situation to correct but they didnt even try. They were rude and argumentative about it.

This place was neat. I dont do the whole spa thing often but my husband and I definitely enjoyed our deep clean facials here! Making reservations was super easy. Once we got there we were filling out our initial forms and one of the questions allowed you to choose how much chatting happens during service, which if youre introverted and dread small talk like i do this is a brilliant option to have on the form! I wish more businesses had this option! Only recommendation id have is be prepared to wash your hair if you have anywhere to go after your appointment! My hair line was pretty oily after the facial ( im sure this is common, but being my frist facial i didnt know what to expect).

It was my first time in Spavia and it was amazing. I got Renew Spa Package for my birthday from my husband. Definitely, I will try it again.

Terrible service. Had 2 massages and facials planned and was told after we made the 30 min drive that their system was down (got no call ahead from them) and they had no idea what was happening with anybodys appointments. We started filling out paperwork when they told us our massage therapist called out and if we wanted to still get our facials then we would each have to wait an hour while the other got their facial. Very disappointed, wed taken the day off work for this and were met with poor service.

I went for a massage and it was by far the best experience Ive had. She hit all my sore spots. I left feeling better than I had in a long time. She also gave me suggestions for things I could do at home to relieve my back pain. I was in Reno for a getaway but I will be visiting the Spavia in my area.
