My review might change, but after waiting in line for nearly 30 minutes, only to be rejected because of athlete pants with strings, no belt. They could better with dress code posters. Ive seen guys in.

They play the same music every weekend y’all need a new dj and playlist. Playing music from over a decade ago that weren’t even classics ALL NIGHT is exhausting. Bro with the cowboy hat is the culprit

I would give minus stars if there was an option. Really bad service. Especially the bouncers & management, they are inhumane & utterly disrespectful. After my bad experience, I checked other reviews on Google and all of those say bad things about the bouncers. Wouldn’t ever go back there.

Went there on my 23rd birthday with my twin sister. Stayed in the club for a couple hours, had a good time. I decided to leave to smoke and when I came back the bouncer claimed my ID was fake. I told him that he was wrong and that it was my 23rd birthday. He kept insisting that I’d need to show him my actual ID. I repeated that he had my real ID. He told me he was confiscating my ID and if I didn’t leave he would have to call security. I told him if he was going to keep it then I will be calling the authorities. He laughed and called security saying that I was wrong. My sister found me and called for the manager. The manager realized that my ID was real but plainly said that I was no longer allowed back. He said he knew they were wrong, admitted, but wouldn’t “undermine” his staff for a mistake on their part. I do not recommend going based on the management and security realizing they’re mistakes but insisting they were correct and not doing anything to correct their behavior.

Great Music, but Bad Bouncers & Dance Floor.I go to NoVi almost every Friday.Why do I go?Well; the main DJ is amazing and plays all the good music. And if you get there early (between 9pm and 10pm) its pretty nice. But NoVi (at the Eldorado) leaves a lot to be desired, and fixed.The dance floor isnt polished (not easy to spin on, which can easily injure your knees) and its often covered in spilled alcohol which causes it to be sticky.Then theres the combination of the Main vs. 2nd Bar, and the bouncers.They focus everyone to buy from the Main Bar which sits at that dance floor instead of ushering the patrons to the Second Bar which sits to the left.This means as everyone converges on the Main Bar the group gets bigger and bigger, meaning they encroach on the dance floor until it completely disappears, and those who have bought alcohol spill it everywhere.Additionally; the non-existent bouncer (or inexperienced bouncers) are sitting in the corners instead of keeping the stand-arounds and looky-lous off the dance floor.Ultimately; If they were to make the bar on the left side the Main Bar, get the bouncers to keep the Stand-Arounds at the edge of the dancing area, and polish the dance floor, it would be a 5 Star, Perfect place to make your second dance home.

They dont let Rowdy clientele in. It was techno the night I went. The club is crowded and racially diverse. Drinks are expensive, but you dont have a cover charge for the club, you gotta pay the dj somehow. The music was nice and loud like I like it.. The floor vibrates with the music like it should. I found a new favorite place. They also have two cute go go dancers that go all night..

Unfortunately, Novi is one of those places that loves letting people in based on their skin color. Mr. Alex at the entry checking my ID made sure that I am annoyed because he wouldn’t give my REAL ID back. And he says it’s your attitude I can’t let you in. Never going back, and congratulations on losing out on a bunch of customers.

I had fun the 2 times, once countrynite the other a banger dj. Both were good not too packed just why do they make club bathrooms so small in huge event spaces.

Several weeks ago I wrote a fantastic review of this place. Unfortunately my review needs to be updated. I used to go to novi every Friday night. The dancing was awesome, the crowd was lively, the music was superb, the drinks were more than affordable. It was a fantastic place to hang out. During the month of April I was out of town every weekend so I wasnt able to show up for about a month. With my traveling finally in the past and a more relaxed schedule, I was able to head to Novi last night, May 17th. In one word? Wow. I was informed that the DJ that was working is now the new starting DJ on Friday nights and this place just isnt the same. At 9:45pm when the place is always packed, it was dead. The music? Not the best at all. Dancing? Almost non-existent. With the little bit of line dance songs the DJ plays, he blends the songs together so you have no idea if one song is ending or another is starting. Absolutely terrible for line dancing. If youre just looking for drinks, those are still affordable with the red cup special so they still have that going for them. As I left at 10pm due to the less than stellar music and lack of dancing, there was a tad bit of a line outside with mostly people probably waiting for the next DJ to start and turn it into a nightclub atmosphere rather than a country bar. This used to be a place where you could line dance, couples dance, enjoy cheap drinks, and enjoy a lively country atmosphere before it turns into a nightclub later in the evening. Not sure what sparked the change for the start of the evening but it definitely has a noticeable effect with the drop in turnout. Wont be back.

Supposed to be a country bar, maybe the owners should visit a real country bar. Very few country songs until 10 pm. Music sucks, nothing to really dance to, been here before and the music was much better. Waitresses were really good.

Line dancing at Novi is a blast! The bouncers were good-natured yet still conscientious, which was very reassuring. The DJ was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable; and he even maintains a website where he keeps track of all of the local line dances, complete with step sheets and videos. I used it myself to learn/review some dances, and found it to be a vital resource- I can tell that the DJ not only knows what hes doing, he also cares a lot for his job and his community. If you want to come prepared, look up DVious Entertainment. My only regret is not being able to stay the whole night because the snow delayed our arrival. I cant wait to go back!

Great music. Was my sons 25th birthday. We celebrate every yr there since his 21st birthday. Had a blast with family and friends. About 30 of us. Cant wait till next yr

The bartender I had, He was awesome! However, Novi needs more seating to make me want to come back. High heels hurt, sometimes women need a break. Its why I rarely go out anymore. If one is unable to relax and enjoy.... why bother?

It is a decently popular bar for Reno located at the heart of the city in the El Dorado. However they have a dress code of no hoods for guys which is incredibly annoying if it is cold out and you wear sweatshirts/jackets to stay warm. The liquor they serve tends to be rather weak. Ive been probably a dozen times and dont remember ever getting a strong drink here.

I second Liyas review! DJ Dustin Valcalda keeps the atmosphere at NoVi lively and energetic with his masterful reading of the crowd and balanced musical selection. Between line dance and freestyle partner dancing, everyone has a chance to hit the floor and work up a sweat to classic and contemporary country. Definitely worth a visit if youre in the area during one of his sets!

After searching around the area for a place to dance, NoVi was awesome. The D.J. played an amazing variety of dance music. Drinks are pricy and the dance floor was VERY packed, but fun and lively!

I really love going to Novis on the weekends. If you are a fan of Country music Novi is definitely the place to be on Friday and Saturday nights. The DJ. Dustin really knows how to get the crowd moving with his awesome Country mix. I really enjoy the atmosphere and line dancing. If you dont want to dance thats okay. The Bartenders there are also great. I recommend Novis to anyone whos had a rough week and wants to have a great weekend.

Night club inside The El Dorado Casino. DJ dance music, lots of energy catering to the younger crowds. I saw 2 bars as well as free lemon water for the patrons. Limited seating is available. Have fun.

Friday night line dancing lesson. Ladies only from 7 to 9 and men can join at 9 and it goes to midnight. Good drink deals start at 9 until midnight as well.

Broke my foot here and am not even upset becasue I got 5 drinks for $12. Great bottomless special. Nice first or second bar of the night.

Novi (on weekend nights) is a popular dance club from 11 to 3 am. Lots of fun, good club music, and reasonable drink prices (for a club).

I do not go there but 2or 3 times a year so I had a good time. To many young people. Lol. Infact I am always asking who I woke up with how old they are again.

This lounge is a joke. Shots are also a joke. Thankfully we only bought two shot of henny because the shot were small like the little cups from dollar store. Not worth the time! Never going there again
