Unfortunately I didnt get to have food there, but I will go back to try it. The cocktails are really nice, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. If the weather is nice you should definitely try sitting in their backyard!I would say the prices and the selection of fine wine and booze is probably not a good fit for the neighborhood.

Very nice Persian bar, great cocktails, delicious food, and a very nice red Wednesday event. But there was a big problem in the service though, they had only one bartender and they couldnt get to everyone on time! And it really felt like they were very good at avoiding the costumers they didnt want to serve. I tried to order a second drink, but it took so long that I decided that I dont want the drink anymore but even when I wanted to cancel my drink they were avoiding me. My friend and I had to wait for like 10 minutes for a glass of water and they avoided paying attention. They also charged me extra for drinks I didnt have! But I really liked that drink, hence the two stars!Also other than the special Ash they had for the event they didnt really have a food variety.

Here’s another neighborhood place that just doesn’t live up to its potential. Went here for a drink after getting some food on Saturday night around 9-10pm.Fwiw the sazerac I ordered was good , the bartender made a quality drink …but the bar was empty, there was a dj playing music that was basically top 40 way too loud to a crowd of nobody , and all of the beer taps stopped working . Luckily this place had like 5 people tops in it so it didn’t cause a fiasco but I could see the bartenders were pissed it was empty and they didn’t seem to know how to fix the taplines. I will say the backyard area is very nice and big , I was surprised how large and comfortable it was back there .I could see this place being successful on summer weekends if they had better music and functional beer taps

Dada is very new I believe not even a month old. Though its a little out of the way in Ridgewood its still important to check it out. I believe this appeal is to an older crowd 30s and above not really the place youll be slamming shots or beers. But a really eloquent place to get a little boozey while snacking on charcuterie. It feels like a jazzy bar decorated with post modern art which was strange considering its name but I guess Dada art could anticipate this bar aesthetic. Anyway I would recommend for a date or place to start or end an evening out.

Cute bar! Went there for a jazz show and ordered drinks and dessert. Love the outdoor backyard and also dog friendly. However service was slow, only one bartender and you could tell he was overwhelmed.

I’m giving 5 stars because this bar is in my neighborhood and I want them to do well. HOWEVER ( and I hope the owners read this ) the owners need to be a bit more strategic when staffing the place for a beautiful Saturday night . Having 2 brand new bartenders working their first nights TOGETHER without someone more experienced to shadow may not be the best idea ( the bar tenders were very overwhelmed and there was barely 10 people there). They also had no idea how to turn the backyard lights on at the request of several patrons ( ans the weather was PERFECT for sitting outside . Also, why is the kitchen closed at 11pm?! The food items on the menu are a perfect compliment for late night drinks it should be open !! Over all, the drinks are very delicious, the food was delicious and the staff was super friendly . Ambience was also very relaxing. Of course I’ll be back , this review was not meant to be damaging in any way, just informative so hopefully DaDa stands the test of time in a very competitive bar / restaurant neighborhood . Jazz brunch. Great vibe. Great band great food. Not a huge menu but all the food is well thought out.

Dada is now open for very chill weekend brunch! They have coffee and pastry service and a menu of brunch dishes including burrata and trout toast. Lots of seating.

We visited with our 4 month old for their new Brunch menu. Good food, friendly staff and cant wait to go back.

Owners are so awesome and welcoming! An inclusive place for community and literature. Delicious food mixed with a really nice wine and cocktail selection. Friendly bar staff. Youre supporting good people by going here.

Top tier offerings, tho prices seem a little high. But the backyard vibe is immaculate. Staff seem v chill.

Cant recommend Dada highly enough! You can tell that this cozy/intimate space was created with attention to every detail. The food and drinks are amazing and the thoughtfully selected live performances perfectly complement the already beautiful vibe. Definitely check it out!!
