Massage Envy

If youre someone who regularly gets facials or massages, it would definitely be worth it to get a membership. The products and services are great, the rooms are always clean and neat, and the staff is always friendly. The only downside is you cant always re-book with people you like because if theyre good at their job, a lot of people want to book with them so sometimes you have to book way in advance to be able to see who you want. Also, be prepared to have them recommend products and add-ons, which are pricey. Those who have a hard time saying no might find these suggestions stressful.

Wonderful therapists, and fantastic owner. Salina Palmerton is a great owner/operator with a passion for her community! Love her business, so you should go get a massage there. Worth every penny!

I received the worst massage ever here! I was having some muscle aches/pain when I got here for the massage but... When I left, the pain was so much worse!! 😞 I could barely walk out and could have just cried. I will NEVER go to this plane again!!

I absolutely loved it!! I ended up getting a membership. Only downside is my masseuse was so good that he is booked a month out.

The message therapist looked like he didnt want to be there and barely even gave me a massage.

I had a appt in Jan called to see what happened, receptionists told me I didint have a appointment! No sorry or nothing I will say the receptionists got me in the next day, but it wasnt with the same therapist so that was annoying. I wonder who keeps canceling these appointments? Not a way to treat customers I dont like feeling like a #

After having the account in frozen status for 1 year, because its practically impossible to cancel under their contract; they began charging me when I hadnt been to the business in 2 years. I moved out of Rio Rancho hence the freeze. This was their recommendation as I had at least 60 visits built up. But when I found out through my credit card statement that they were charging me, I froze my card against any transactions from massage envy in Rio Rancho. I dont recommend the business, and I encourage you to find other options for massage therapy. Thank you. UPDATE: someone has replied below and asked me to reach out through the online portal, Im not even a member, just goes to show you where customers or potential and past customers lie with this business. No request to discuss or any interest to communicate directly. Dont call or contact me Im done with your specific location.

I had a massage with Regina and she was amazing! She worked with me personally to make sure I got the most out of my massage. It was wonderful, I ended up getting a membership. Everyone I encountered from entrance to exit were incredibly kind and accommodating. Cant wait to go back soon!!

A member for over five years now. Monthly regular massage sessions have kept my back and shoulders pain free! Appointments are easy to book. A friendly appointment reminder from staff the day before each appointment. The facility is clean and welcoming. The staff is very professional and always prepared.

I have been a massage envy member for over a year and a half. I joined when I lived in NM, had a horrible experience, to the point of needing cortisone shots in my shoulder from the damage of a massage at the cottonwood location. Then moved to AZ. I was going to cancel the member ship but had an AMAZING masseuse there. I just now moved back from AZ to NM and come to this location, to give it a try. Jason was my masseuse. I have now cancelled my membership as of today. This was the worse massage I have had. I am literally in more pain than I was when I walked in. I said less pressure and got more. I asked to focus on my lower back... which barely got touched. My feet got more attention than my lower back. Horrible. Horrible horrible. I will find somewhere else in this town. Obviously this city’s massage envy can not provide massage talent. I do NOT recommend this location OR the one at cottonwood.

Massage Envy Rio Rancho is the best. from the front desk to the therapist. All the therapist really listen to my needs and help with my problem areas but my favorite are the 90 minute facials. I use to get really bad break outs and ever since I started getting monthly facial my face has cleared up.Highly Recommend!

I had a serious problem, with a muscle impinging on a nerve, that was agonizing. I went three times and got the same message therapist. Tamar was very considerate of my other medical issues, very effective at relaxing the offending muscles, and helped me understand how to handle it at home. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I hope the branch near my home is as good!

The customer service culture of the staff and the office policies at this specific location could be improved to be more customer focused in my opinion.

I decided I would get my first massage at Massage Envy Rio Rancho and I must say that it was the best experience I have ever had. Every one there was so kind and professional. I felt so comfortable with my therapist! She was AMAZING! and the Sugar Foot Scrub is a MUST HAVE!

After calling twice and using their online system, I have yet to hear back from this business to schedule an appointment. I was also hung up on by one of their receptionists and never called back. I wont attempt to schedule here again. I even tried different locations with the same poor luck. How can you retain clients or get new ones if you do not return calls or scheduling requests?

I started going to Massage Envy in Rio Rancho as a birthday present to myself, and I have no regrets. The facility is clean, and the employees are friendly and professional. I cant recommend highly enough. Just go, you wont be disappointed.

I had multiple appointments booked for over 2 months and I come to my appointment just for them to tell me they canceled it but nobody was able call me. The woman at the front told me she can’t do anything and my appointment was canceled no apology no offering to fit me in or book be with another therapist that day, and she can just reschedule me in about 1 month. They have no customer service or respect for their customers. I don’t recommend going here.

My massage experience here was absolutely amazing! The whole environment was very comforting and soothing, the staff did an excellent job at making sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The facility is beautiful and I left feeling better and more relaxed than I ever have. Definitely a must go.

Horrible service. They are great at taking your money. I came in today for a 2pm after scheduling 2 days ago. Im having muscle tension in neck and upper back. I waits 20 min past my appointment and then asked what was the hold up. 10 minutes later they told me they booked me with sombody who was off for the day and could Re-schedule next week. Again they are excellent at taking the money.

I’ve had a membership for a few years now, great therapists! I wish there were more locations so I could get in more often. Definitely worth the cost!

Confirmed my appointment thirty minutes before-hand. Had me fill out all of my paperwork and then cancelled my appointment on me 10 minutes after it was supposed to start for a 90 minute massage. The last four times Ive tried to schedule theyve been full. No reason for me to go back to this location.

UPDATE: June 3rd 2017 - The manager Selena called me personally and apologized for the mediocre massage I had received. She made it right by inviting me back in to get a nice relaxing 90 minute massage by one of her best MTs. She offered a Deep muscle therapy (NOT a deep tissue massage, but a relaxing massage using very warm towels along with working out some of my trouble spots, followed by using a warming agent, finishing with using Biofreeze. This was at no additional cost. It definitely made up for the first visit. Thank you Selena. I look forward to my next appointment. :)---------------------------------------------------------------------The therapist was very nice but I was looking for a nice relaxing massage that would make me feel better by the end of the session. Unfortunately, it didnt. First of all my appointment didnt start on time, not sure why, the therapist kept apologizing for it. Secondly, the therapist had an issue with her hand and had to wear a glove which made the massage less enjoyable. She did, however, tell me prior to my session, that the gloves ME have are too small and that they break during the massage. She said she would have to change them periodically throughout the massage session and told me I didnt have to go thru with it. But I already had the appointment, I was already there, and I came that day wanting and really needing a massage because of being in pain, so I agreed to proceed. It would have been nice to have known this issue PRIOR to making the appointment so I could have made a better choice then. Thirdly, I feel like the therapist was under stress (most likely due to the uncomfortable blister on her hand and having to give massages). She voiced that she was not happy about having to be at work due to this situation, which I could definitely tell. I could definitely sense her stress which did not make the massage a pleasurable experience because of it. I felt she was just trying to rush thru the massage and when she would ask how does it feel? and if I would like more or less pressure, it didnt feel any better. Lastly, I did not think the therapist was rude, she was nice. But I came in for a relaxing massage, not a rushed, hurried, mediocre massage. I feel like my $60 was wasted for the month. :(

The therapists are passionate about their clients. They listen and understand their concerns and truly care about helping them. The entire staff provides quality, excellent service and are super friendly.Best spa in town!

Worst experiences. I will never try to go back again. I scheduled online the first time but never got a call to verify the appt. so I called over there the day of when I scheduled just to make sure they got me in. They told me I never scheduled and that I just made an appointment to make the appointment. Okay whatever my mistake Ill wait to schedule until Im free again. Scheduled again online recently and they called me back. I asked her if there was anything special I needed to do since I was preganant yes I had to be with a certain masseuse so I couldnt schedule for the morning, I had to schedule for 3 pm Saturday. Okay I say, SHE SCHEDULES ME HERSELF! FOR SATURDAY AT 3pm! Saturday rolls around and I get there early went to check in she says I dont have an appr. scheduled at any of the locations at any given time of any given day! Freaking sucks tht they wasted my time again. I do not recommend this place. They just give you the roll around. Im sure you can find better service for a lot less money.

Omar is the BEST masseuse ever! He helped me immensely with my multiple sclerosis spasms and helping with range of motion.

If you ask me once if I want to buy it and I say no, it couldnt be made any more clear. Ask for Alyssa at the front desk and Annie as your therapist, then youll love it. If you enjoy not being listened to....just ask for Dianna.

If you are looking to be locked into a year long monthly massage contract this is a good place. If you are giving one massage as a gift, or just want a massage once in a while, stay away. Their number one priority is to lock you into a year long contract and they are willing to say anything to make that happen, even to the point of questionable and unethical tactics.

Everyone is very friendly. Robin and Claire are the absolute best therapists, theyre very gentle and professional, always asking about the pressure to make sure its a comfortable experience.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facial I selected was very soothing and relaxing. Kristianna was very gentle and explained what she was doing, every step was explained. Came out feeling rejuvenated.

I made an appointment for my wife birthday they canceled it I had to wait for a month for another appointment I they canceled it again, I got there they told me that the person that supposed to take care of me and my wife left.

Devona was rude! I never been there before and had questions about services. I guess he felt she needed to be rude about answering them. Ill never go back to that location!!

Do NOT get a membership here bad idea the front desk people are always nice but do not give correct or true info for billing and the only way to get out of it is with a doctor note or if you move more than 25 miles away and they double charge you for services you haven’t even gotten
