Massage therapist Liza is the best. She knows exactly what to do each time. Always customizing the massage to ensure the best experience. I have been seeing her consistently for a year and can’t see myself getting a massage anywhere else. The Woodhouse atmosphere is also very nice and relaxing. From the check in to check out process it’s always pleasant, unless the manager sticks her nose out from behind the wall trying to butt in where she’s not needed, sometimes coming off as belittling to the staff and clients. Thankfully I haven’t seen her the last few visits. Oh, and I can’t forget to shout out the amazing pineapple prosecco, mimosas and hot tea.

The Woodhouse Spa in Rochester Hills is really nice. The finishes are so pretty. It has a beautiful relaxing lounge area and is very clean. It’s the best place for a massage that I’ve ever been locally. Amanda who did my massage was really nice and did a great job. I loved it!

Not my first time at the spa, but my first time for this service. My husband purchased the signature calming retreat for my birthday, 110 minutes of pure Bliss. I cannot recommend it more. Kim T was fabulous and the entire staff made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. What a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back sooner rather than later

Always an incredible experience. I don’t have one therapist that I’ve stuck with, but today I had Shay and the 80 min. deep tissue massage (YES it’s worth it to do the 80 minute one). She was warm and inviting and made me feel comfortable from the moment I met her. The pressure was perfect and she made sure to ask how it was throughout the massage. I’m absolutely glowing from the inside out 🤍 Can’t wait to come back!I also want to mention another therapist, Judy. I had her last time for the same service. She was fantastic from start to finish. She also taught me more about what could be causing my aches and pain in my back. After the massage, I went to the locker room to change and got the worst news you could imagine. My father had passed away suddenly while I was in the session. I obviously was a wreck, trying to get changed while sobbing on the phone with my mom. Judy and the staff were angels. I’ll never forget the kindness that was shown to me that day.

I LOVE Woodhouse Spa! I travel often and I’ve been to quite a few different locations. For the last 3 months I’ve visited the Rochester Hills location and seen Kim for my facials. She is EVERYTHING! Her bedside manner, her vibe, her spirit. She’s informing and just all around GREAT! Highly recommend her and that location!!

The spa has a calm and welcoming atmosphere, which makes it easy to relax.The HydroFacial left my skin feeling clean and refreshed. The esthetician was professional, explaining each step and ensuring I was comfortable.The massage was by far the most relaxing experience Ive ever had. My therapist, Dana, focused on the areas I mentioned and even found some deep tension that I was unaware was even there. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Woodhouse Spa, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. I just had the most wonderful treatment from Hayley Medlen at the Spa. She was absolutely amazing and I feel so rejuvenated. I got the meditative soak, which is not something I’d normally try. The seaweed body scrub was amazing, the soak was divine and her massage was 10/10. I will be back for another one in no time!!

I absolutely love the Woodhouse Spa and have been coming since they opened many years ago. No other place compares! I usually go for a massage with Hayley who is my absolute favorite. ❤️ She is such a sweetheart and does an amazing job! Today, I also had a pedicure with Mistie who worked a miracle on my feet. 😂

As someone who has frequently visited this Spa for its relaxing atmosphere and quality services, I feel compelled to share a recent experience that was far from what I’ve come to expect. For the first time I’ve tried facial, paid half the amount in advance. However upon arrival, I was asked to pick an option. Didn’t tell me that there is a huge price surge. They made me pay 100$ extra without prior information. I believe that a clear communication policy regarding pricing changes, especially for regular customers who have made advance payments, would greatly enhance the customer experience and maintain the trust we place in the services. When I approached the manager named India for assistance, I was met with a response that was not only unhelpful but surprisingly hostile. The manager raised her voice at me in front of other customers and staff, which was both embarrassing and completely unprofessional. I was left feeling shocked and disappointed. The confrontation was distressing and not at all what I would expect from a place that prides itself on providing a relaxing and welcoming environment. I understand that misunderstandings and mistakes can happen, but I expect them to be handled with professionalism and respect, especially by management. As a result of these practices, I ended up paying significantly more than what was initially quoted, with no clear explanation for the additional charges. This not only felt deceptive but also left me feeling exploited. India had ruined my many happy experiences with this place.

I had my first experience at Woodhouse today with Jacob and it was fantastic. I have a very physical lifestyle and Jacob is an amazing MT and did a great job. The overall experience was truly wonderful. They were friendly and helpful and have delicious mimosas. Yes, they are on the pricey side but they are about the experience and I personally feel like it was worth it.

I recently visited this spa for a massage that was a birthday gift from my fiancé. The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and handled every interaction with great care, particularly when assisting with a minor issue involving a broken locker.The facilitys ambiance was welcoming and exactly what one would expect for a relaxing day. However, the massage itself did not meet my expectations. As a healthy, young individual who exercises regularly and has no chronic pain—a fact I emphasized—I was looking forward to a simple, relaxing session. Despite this, the masseuse fixated on diagnosing nonexistent pain points and was overly eager to recommend external services. This included paid stretching videos from an online practitioner and a chiropractor in Florida, which seemed unrelated and felt more like a sales partnership than relevant to my needs.While the professionalism of the staff and the overall environment of the spa were commendable, the massage experience felt more like a sales pitch than a therapeutic treatment. This approach overshadowed the purpose of my visit and unfortunately left me feeling less rejuvenated than I had hoped.

I have been to Woodhouse Spa in Rochester Hills 3 times now & I am always satisfied, relaxed & leaving happy! Liza is amazing for massages & I love seeing Sydney for hydrafacials. Totally would recommend to anyone in need of a relaxing spa day!

Sydney did my Illuminate facial at Woodhouse Day Spa. She was very knowledgable about all products she was using on my skin and also gave me recommendations for my skin type/skin care routine. Sydney had a very gentle touch and approach when doing my facial. Very professional, warming, and welcoming. I definitely recommend Sydney for your facials!

I really loved my experience at The Woodhouse Day Spa. It was my first time there and everyone was so kind and welcoming. I got a seasonal facial from Kim and it was one of the best facials Ive ever had. I will be back and I would recommend Kim she was so sweet, made sure I was comfortable had my skin glowing!

The massage I had wasnt worth the money paid. The masseuse wasnt friendly and the massage wasnt soothing at all. The table face cradle was hot and uncomfortable. I couldnt breathe but no help to find a comfortable position. Not a good experience and I wont be back.

Had my first visit today after receiving a gift card and what a wonderful establishment! I had a collagen based facial with Kim and it was such a fantastic experience. Kim was kind, gentle, and incredibly knowledgeable. She even offered some great suggestions for products to add to my daily skincare regimen. My skin feels hydrated and renewed. From the kind front desk service, to the cleanly and welcoming women’s room, the lovely waiting room filled with essential oil aroma and mood lighting, and the soft robes, everything about this spa was luxurious and relaxing. I cannot wait for my next visit! I recommend this spa, and my facialist, Kim, without reservation. A must visit in the Rochester area.

Sydney did a wonderful job on my skin. The facial was so relaxing. She helped me pick out my products for my face. It has been a few weeks and I can already see the difference in my skin. If you want to go have a relaxing facial with somebody that knows what they’re doing, Sydney is the person to make an appointment with.

Once again, I had a wonderful experience at Woodhouse Day spa in the villages of Rochester. From the moment you walk in the door to the completion of time in the relaxation room, everybody is professional and kind and caring. Snd the treatments are outstanding! I will definitely come back

I was told an assistant manager would be contacting me regarding my experience, after giving them 6 days to contact me, I am leaving this review.I was very much looking forward to my facial/ mothers day gift and day spa experience. This was the most disappointing spa experience I have had. I have been to other Woodhouse Day Spas and this one leaves a lot to be desired.Not only was my facial terrible (subjective), but I was given a condescending response by both the esthetician and front desk regarding my add on (eye treatment including gua sha). They both said the eye treatment doesnt include gua sha, even though I stated online it does which is why it was added on. After I showed the front desk, she said thats misleading and refunded me the eye treatment (which I never even received). I was looking forward to a nice warm shower with the eucalyptus steam after my treatment, but there was no eucalyptus spray and the water wasnt warm so I left without even taking one.Upon checkout, I also had to prove a deposit was paid to decrease my total to the proper amount. The lady at the front desk was unable to apply that deposit to my total, despite every booking made online requiring a deposit and standard protocol. She applied a discount instead. This is not a discount, its a deposit.I will never come back to this location, the treatment and experience was very lack luster. I will continue to go to other locations for a third of the cost for a facial, where customer service is also much better.

Hailey was amazing! I went in for my Bridal massage and she made my day. She is truly wonderful at relieving tension and helped fix my posture! Highly recommend!!

I booked the “Couples Retreat” on 05/01/2024. Absolutely AMAZING! Our appt was for 2pm and we arrived at 1:40pm. Immediately, we were greeted with smiles and were shown where to change and wait until our appt started. The robes, slippers, and amentities provided in the dressing room are top notch! After changing into our robes we waited in the waiting area where they had two mimosas waiting for us! They were delicious! After a few minutes of enjoying the complimentary mimosas our masseuse came and got us. The massage’s were incredible! I work in law enforcement and my husband works in the fire department, needless to say we needed work done lol. Dara’s skills worked through every knot I had while continuously making me feel completely relaxed. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of my husbands masseuse, however he told me his neck pain was completely gone when he got up. Needless to say both ladies were absolutely amazing. After the massages we were able to sit back in the waiting area where we were given cold water and hot tea to just “relax”. There was no pressure to hurry and leave when we were done and were encourage to enjoy our time. If you’re looking for a spa to just relax and be pampered, this is definitely a place you need to book. We will 100% be back!!

I had the honor of visiting Woodhouse Spa yesterday for the first time. I was greeted by a welcoming staff and enjoyed ever minute. The changing rooms were clean and safe. Personal Lockers allowed me to lock away my phone and the outside world. Comfy robe and slippers, yes please! The quiet room with the low lighting, fireplace and comfy seating allowed me to relax and gave the illusion I was in a house, not a shopping village. I highly recommend the 180 minute massage. Olga did a wonderful job at releasing all of my sore and stressed muscles. Im pretty sure my masseuse was named Olga, but by the end of my massage I was barely able to remember my own name. I almost cried when my time at the spa was over. My family will never need to wonder what I want as a present, because the answer will forever be to return to the Woodhouse Spa!

Had the most wonderful time Emily. The professionalism was 2nd to none. It was my first time here and she made me feel like Ive known her for years. You could really tell she enjoys what shes doing. Great hands, Great personality, will repeat.

I indulged in a 50 minute deep tissue massage with Hayley this afternoon. It was by far the best massage I have had in a long time! After consulting, Hayley asked about areas that needed attention and we decided to focus on my upper body. She paid close attention to problem areas and communicated when deeper pressure was needed to ensure I was doing ok. My only regret was that it was not an 80 minute massage! I highly recommend Hayley!

LOVE The Woodhouse Spa! Best place ever for a relaxing spa day. They have a variety of different services which allows customers to find something that works for them. I recently got my first hydra-facial and it was absolutely amazing. The products that were used during the hydra facial were high end quality and felt very clean. I was left glowing FOR DAYS after my hydra facial. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE!!! My skin felt super clean and I felt relaxed during the entire process. I don’t think my face has ever looked better. Sydney did an amazing job and explained the steps of the facial while it was happening which I appreciated as someone who was getting their first hydra facial. The staff at Woodhouse spa is very welcoming and helpful as well. The spa overall has a very relaxing atmosphere and is a place I would recommend going to!! 10000000/10 stars!!!!

Bekah was sooooo good. I came in with high expectations as i came with my friends from out of town. We were greeted right away with robes and sandals to change into. She then asked if i had any target areas to address today and i can tell you every one of them was addressed. She gave advice in how to stay destressed and was overall 10/10

I had a great experience with Haley! She is extremely kind and professional. I have had a few maternity massages with Haley throughout my pregnancy and she has been wonderful each time. I would highly recommend scheduling with her. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and of the details of the experience have been thought through.

I absolutely love Woodhouse Spa. While it may be on the pricier side, you get wonderful service. Every guest gets a personal locker to leave their belongings. Plush robes and slippers are provided. Showers and dressing rooms are available.The lounge area has a variety of seating - and you are able to enjoy water, tea, or a mimosa while you wait for your service to begin.The Body Balance Massage is one of my favorites. It is absolutely relaxing. If you want to try something a little different, the black sand rejuvenation lets you experience the Vichy shower. If you go in for a pedicure - sit back and enjoy the massage chair.The work staff does a great job of letting you unwind and my favorite part is that they never hound you at checkout. Unlike other spa chains who always push you to book or become a member - they let you leave relaxed.The Rochester location also allows you to walk out of the spa and enjoy some shopping or meals without needing to get back into your car! Great location, great service, highly recommend!

I followed my wonderful esthetician, Sydney, to Woodhouse. I highly recommend Sydney for any facial service... She is knowledgeable, skillful and personable!While Woodhouse does cost a bit more than where I used to go for facials, it seemed well worth the additional cost - the atmosphere was tranquil, relaxing and truly a spa atmosphere (robes, sandals, mimosas, tea and snacks all provided). The products used in my facial were also higher quality than where I used to go. This spa was very clean, all staff I encountered were friendly & accommodating. Location was great with easy parking too! I will be back next month to see Sydney!

On November 20 I purchased a 300.00 gift card for a Christmas present. After 20 days I shot the spa an email to get an update.No response..sent another ..no responseCalled and left message…called again and spoke with someone who said she would get manager to check and call me back…no response…sent another email…waited over the weekend and called Monday Dec 11…left message…no response…called 2 hours later and receptionist took my info…at this point 7 attempts …I just wanted to credit my account and move on…she promises she will or the manager would call me back…3.5 hours later I called again and asked for the owners name. She put me on hold and then returned with we credited your account….( I can only hope at This point) 8 attempts , never once did someone return my emails or calls..simply wanting an update or tracking number.The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced….im still in shock….

Best place for a day spa. They offer a variety of services. You are greeted from the time you walk in with warm welcomes. Nice, plush robes to wear. A quiet room to relax before and between services. My last visit I had a facial from Kim. She was very gentle yet thorough. She understood about my rosacea and offered some tips. I left feeling refreshed and vigorous. I highly recommend this location.

Well it was my 3rd time here. All I can say is don’t book with Madison - she doesn’t like to show up for her appointments. I had an appointment at noon - nobody even noticed I hadn’t been taken back so I went to the desk at 12:20 to double check my appointment time. Someone was able to get in me in for an express hydro facial - they covered the cost of it which is totally appreciated . But even that was so rushed . Mind you it’s a 25 min service so I get it . But like come on get your staff together and make sure they show up . This is an expensive place and you expect top quality service. Today was just bad all around . Again don’t book with Madison she probably will decide not to show up .

My experience at this SPA was everything!!!! My first time going to a real spa and I will def be back!! My appt was at 3pm and I was on the table by 3:05! The place is gorgeous...loved the ambiance and the lady that did my massage Christina was great!! She was gentle and very thorough! The customer service was on point..very friendly employees and the unlimited mimosas was the icing on the cake! Only thing I would recommend is to add to the booking website that you can come up to 30min prior to the scheduled appt time to enjoy the Quiet room!

I came here (for my second time) on my birthday recently for a 2 hour tranquil stone massage with Liza and she was absolutely amazing! Ive had issues in my shoulder for a while and this is the first time its felt normal in months. Cant wait to come back!

I really enjoyed my last experience at Woodhouse. Liza was my massage therapist. She is new at Woodhouse but one of the best I ever had! She did an amazing job on my deep tissue massage. I had Maddie for my facial and she did a wonderful job. My skin felt clean and moisturized after my hydra facial. I was very happy with both of those services!

Had such an amazing experience today at the spa! Judi gave me an incredible deep tissue massage, she was lovely. I’d also like to note that there was a huge online booking mishap at the beginning of the week, and I just wanted to thank Mandy and Maya again for showing me such grace!! Awesome customer service. I had a lovely experience at Woodhouse spa . I had my massage with Dara who did an amazing job on my back and was very funny. The staff is all very friendly and as I sit by the fireplace in my cozy, plush robe, sipping a mimosa I can say with certainty Ill be coming back here and gifting a spa day (or two) to my wonderful mother in law.

The entire staff is wonderful and very helpful and friendly. The facility is beautiful and clean. We felt pampered and they even left us a little gift. We had a wonderful body balance massage today. Courtney and Jacob were professional and had great technique. Thank you for a wonderful massage experience!

Everyone in the salon is very professional and it is such a treat to go and relax and have a wonderful massage.

To the woman working the front desk on Sunday 11/5 with red in her hair and Halloween themed nails: When you pointed to my midsection and said “Is that a baby bump?”, even though I laughed it off, it really hurt me. I’ve struggled with my body image and have had a very hard time ‘bouncing back’ after my first pregnancy two years ago. Lady at the front desk, you really embarrassed me. Not a good start to what was supposed to be a relaxing spa experience. A word of advice: Don’t comment about a person’s body, ever.The masseuse was nice.

Amazing! Staff was wonderful, facility was clean and the treatment was wonderful. From check in to check out it was an amazing experience. I had a seasonal bath treatment with Hailey. The locker room was clean and easy to access. The quiet room was wonderful. There was water and snacks, they also offered hot tea and mimosas. Very relaxing environment! I will be returning! The only issue I had there was parking. The spots out front say 1 hour limit and I had an 80 min treatment so I had to park in the back and it’s a little bit of a walk. Nothing that took away from the experience though.

Response to owner: A complimentary massage was not offered- I was offered $25 dollars- please get your story straight. Complimentary is a completely different thing than come back at later in the day and well take $25 dollars off.I booked a massage for my birthday with a gift card I had received from a friend at Woodhouse spa. I arrived and sat in the quiet room for a solid hour and watched 5 people go ahead of me. I went to the front desk and asked if they had forgotten about me. The front desk lady took my waiver clipboard and told me to go back to the quiet room. The receptionist that checked me in then came back and told me that she had forgotten to check me in and proceeded to call me by the wrong name several times. She offered me a time later in the day- which I already had another appointment at that time. Upon leaving (clearly upset) I requested a refund and was rudely declined and told that We dont give refunds. I told her that I would not be back based on my experience and she told me that I can regift the card. This place is an upscale Spa in Rochester and quite pricey...You would think the customer service would be up to par with the quality of the facility. Wasted an hour of my Birthday sitting in Woodhouses Quiet room in a bathrobe- humiliation 1, massage 0.

I treated my Mom to a spa day, I was blown away by the customer service of the entire staff. I work in the salon industry and always consider customer service as one of the most important parts of the service and experience. Every little detail was amazing and made my mom feel special and pampered. We loved our time in the quiet room, enjoying mimosas and tea. Our services, both massages and facials were exceptional. The staff was professional, informative and did fantastic jobs! I look forward to going back soon

I’ve gone to Woodhouse before and have had many massages. This last one I had I’ve had severe pain in my neck and shoulders for a week and have to see my doctor. I called the place to let them know because I don’t want it to happen to anyone else. They didn’t even ask me my name or apologize or find out who my masseuse was. They said hope you feel better we will take it under consideration. Not happy at all.

This was my 3rd experience at Woodhouse the 1st was great! I had a lavender and seaweed sugar glow, with Annie. Today was amazing! I had a massage with Blake I am so glad I was encouraged to come back for a message by India it was a perfect. Go on and treat yourself! Looking forward to my next appointment next month.

Woodhouse spa in Rochester is hands down my favorite day spa to go to. I’ve been 3 times, the first being my bachelorette party in Feb 2020. They were so lovely and accommodating to all of us and our times so we could be together and done at the same time. I’ve since returned twice, with this past Sunday bringing a friend for a much needed moms day out. I had Alex for a massage and Danielle for a facial. Both were so sweet, knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. I will be back, they’ve made a regular out of me.

Do yourself a favor and book a massage with Michael. I’ve been getting massages for 20 years and he is without a doubt the best therapist who has ever treated me. Thank you for a great relaxing and therapeutic morning!The spa itself is also great. I’ve had facials there too and other massages. At the front desk there’s always a warm welcome, the lockers/bathrooms are impeccable and the robe and slippers are great to get in that relaxing mood.

Paige was absolutely fantastic! She massaged very well and was very nice throughout the whole process. She also was thorough when I asked her various questions about massages. I would recommend her to anyone looking to get a good massage - she varies the intensity depending on the need. The staff is also incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone in the Michigan area!

My daughter and nieces surprised me on my birthday with a gift card for a spa day at the Rochester Hills Woodhouse Spa. Upon arrival I was offered herbal tea, water or a Mimosa and directed to a dressing room to remove my clothes and adorn a comfy terry cloth robe. I then relaxed in the “quiet room “ until Michael came to take me for my relaxed neck and back massage. OMG, there followed 50 minutes of heaven. Mike was an excellent massage therapist — I loved every minute. I then proceeded to another room for an awesome facial by Madison. This was an awesome experience and I look forward to returning. This spa totally pampers you. Beautiful place.

My evening at Woodhouse was absolutely amazing! This was a birthday gift to myself and my first time ever going to a spa. I enjoyed my visit from start to finish. I had a deep tissue massage with Blake and a organic discovery facial with Hannah they both were very professional super cool and made my evening comfortable. I’ve been to the Woodhouse Day Spa / Rochester Hills numerous times for facials with Jessica. She is amazing. She was knowledgeable about my skin type, offered great recommendations and made the entire experience ultra-relaxing. I left refreshed and well informed as to how to best care for my skin.

I was so pleased with my visit this past week! This was my first time getting a facial, and it was amazing. The esthetician I had was Jessica, and she took absolute pride in her work. She took the time to explain what routine I should be taking at home to get the best results for my skin. Although I was snoring a little during the service (Jessica should take that as a compliment) I enjoyed every second of it! I will definitely be back!!

I moved to MI a few months and have been on the hunt for a new spa. After I was ready to give up, I found this absolute gem. The employees are amazing! Highly skilled, professional, friendly and go out of their way to accommodate guests. As other reviews said, they pamper you but also do a good job. I highly recommend Kim for facials. I am not sure if she does massage as well but she is a pro with facials. They also sell some quality products. I love this place and am hooked!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! From the beautiful, friendly faces greeting you at the counter to the magical healing hands of my masseuse Kim, my visit offered me all of the luxury and reprieve I so desperately needed. Kim was highly knowledgeable and prescriptive in knowing exactly what my skin needed. Even a day later, I’m still aglow! Can’t wait till my next visit.

I cannot share enough about how amazing this spa is. I started coming earlier in the year and I am continuously blown away by the professionalism and calm atmosphere of this Spa. From having assigned lockers and taking note of my size for robes and slippers, to the beautiful quiet room, to the amazing spa services, Woodhouse is hands down the best spa in town.I love love love the VICHY shower (try it, its amazing) and hot stone massages. Try the Lazy Days Ritual for a nice long soak in a giant, beautiful tub. As far as providers, everyone is great but let me give you a phenomenal recommendation-- Try to book with Haley! (Personally) My first choice is always Haley. I havent gone to anyone else since I found her! Haley is super nice, personable, professional and knowledgable. I look forward to my monthly services with her. She knows what shes doing and will consistently check with you to make sure shes meeting your needs for the service. Amazing experience! This was my first time ever getting a facial and Kim worked with me. She explained each step of the process and gave me recommendations on skin care products and future treatments that would best compliment my skin and my specific concerns and needs. This was mine and my husband’s first massage. We chose an 80 minute duet. It was absolutely pure bliss! The staff was so friendly and even though I was nervous they made everything feel so calm/natural and explained things so clearly. The changing area and shower was well stocked, and the waiting areas were so comfortable and warm. We will definitely be back!

This was my first visit to Woodhouse. I was desperate for some relief of neck and shoulder tension. I called at the last minute and they were able to fit me. I could not have been more thankful! Natasha was my massage therapist and did an EXCELLENT job. She listened to my needs and preferences which I truly appreciated. One of the best massages I have ever received. The Woodhouse was clean, tranquil and relaxing. They take good safety precautions by taking a contactless temperature, hand sanitizing and staggering their client flow. My first time at Woodhouse Day Spa and my first massage ever was an amazing experience. The location itself was very clean and the business was following al CDC guidelines (social distancing, masks required). I had a 50 minute deep tissue massage with Hayley and enjoyed every minute. Hayley was extremely nice and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I enjoyed my experience so much I wish I had schedule the longer massage. I will definitely be going back to Woodhouse Day Spa and requesting Hayley to be my massage therapist!

I’ve been to this establishment twice, pre-COVID and recently. I’m not a spa connoisseur, I do get treated maybe 2-3 times a year, and regularly get massages. I think the staff was a lot nicer on my second trip compared to pre-covid. Packages and a la cart services are about average price but personally, I think they did a great job and made it worth the price - Im almost always usually disappointed with massages and facials but this one was very satisfactory. Everyone was very professional and pleasant. I especially liked my mani-pedi with Tasha!Atmosphere is very relaxing and private. I love the signature experience they provide with the aromatic oil before and after the services. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to get pampered or want to send a wife/husband for pampering. Also went here with a girlfriend for a couples package.

I had the calming retreat, 110 mins, 7 services. AMAZING!! Blake is fantastic. Truly relaxing. My favorite part was the hot stones on my neck. He worked out all the tension. I highly recommend.

Had a deep tissue massage here today. A lot of neck and upper shoulder pain due to too much time on a computer for work. Visha gave a great deep tissue massage, recommended Emily Lark for exercises to follow up with and a recommended compress for my sprained ankle. Great massage and advice. Very professional and relaxing environment including quiet room before and after massage, nice changing room, plush robes, lockers with your own combination lock. If I lived closer I would definitely visit more often! Worth the drive from the west side of metro Detroit!!

Ive never met a greater staff in any establishment in Rochester. Nothing but great things to say about how friendly and helpful their staff is. I did my promposal here and all members of the staff helped me set up candles and signs and make it a big surprise for her. There is a reason why they are always booked. This place is fantastic.

Approximately 3 weeks ago i made an appointment with my massage therapist Tessa whos great. Came in Sunday for my massage and they said your appointment is with a different therapist. How can an organization make a change without consent of the client. I specifically booked with tessa. They apologized for the mix up. I was so frustrated. The manager offered a complimentary massage but I was too upset to even think about going back to relax. This was not the first time they had scheduled issues and based on other reviews scheduling seems to be a challenge for them. I finally found a good massage person but sad to say I will not go back nor will I recommend this place.

First time here and I am a forever customer! I got the signature Woodhouse Escape, and I’m at a loss for words. From the dry brush, to the hot stone massage, to the aromatherapy... I’ve never felt more relaxed! The staff was very friendly and professional, the facility is clean and stylish, and you can’t forget about the complimentary drink! Five stars all around 👏🏻

My fiancé and I went here for a couples massage and it was an amazing experience! We felt very relaxed before, during, and after the massage. It’s a bit pricy, but worth it, especially for a special occasion, or just to treat yourself!

Their receptionist India is extremely rude! She accused me of not cancelling an appointment and hung up on me when I rescheduled. Ive had several facials here but will NOT return as long as she is employed there. Plenty of other spas in the area who employ professional and pleasant receptionists.In response to the owner: if you record your calls, then it will be very clear as to how India was rude and unprofessional. I did have seven wonderful experiences and she erased them all in just one day. That is why this never should have happened. My not returning wont hurt your business, but keeping India as your receptionist most certainly will.

I brought 3 friends with me to the woodhouse for girls day massages. From the beginning we knew this was going to be a high end experience. The spa is beautiful and smelled lovely. To start they gave us robes and slippers and had us go to the locker room to change. The locker room was cramped and kind of awkward. There were only 2 bathrooms and a very small area to change. After that they took us to a quiet room to wait for our massage therapists. The ambiance was nice and relaxing and they offered us drinks. The massages were okay, and a bit pricy as expected. We had a nice time and besides the awkward dressing room area, would definitely recommend.

Excellent spa. If you like deep tissue massage, Veesa is your woman! I’ve never had a masseuse target the treatment to the individual muscle as she went. Truly amazing. No cookie cutter left and right side. The spa itself was luxurious and relaxing. I will be back!

I had a wonderful experience at the wood house day spa! I did the lazy day renewal ritual with Tiffanie and she was AMAZING! It was the best massage I had ever had and she was so sweet and kind! The spa itself is clean, peaceful and all of the employees are so friendly and helpful!

The service with Annie was very nice but the front desk service was not an enjoyable one. After coming out of a relaxing 2 hr. Woodhouse Escape package , I left feeling frustrated at the incompetence of the two young ladies at the desk. Then, today I received a call today telling me that I left a scrub brush there that I guess was part of my package. I was asked if I’d like to come and get it it or if they should they just put it back.Thumbs down on the front desk service.

The people that are giving one stars are over exaggerating. They had one small scheduling mix up. But the fact is this place is extremely clean and comfy. We had a wonderful massage with bottomless mimosas. I will say the pedicure is not worth the price but I will be back for my birthday. :)

I absolutely love The Woodhouse day spa!! My husband is currently deployed and every once in a while I take time out for myself and my facial with Kim was what I needed. I had the illuminating facial which made my skin glow. Kim took time to explain all the steps and she then focused on creating a very calm environment. I already to my husband and Mom that I would like gift cards for all holidays and my birthday!!

The wife and I just moved back to area and have been looking for a new go to place. This is it! Amazing experience and ambiance. Terrific staff that love what they do. Loved my deep tissue massage with Teresa and wife did Facial with Jessica. I tried the CBD oil add on and it was exhilarating. Will be back defiantly a 5 star A+ rating!

It’s definitely an experience and gorgeous inside, which is why I gave it 2 instead of 1. I’m sure it’s wonderful for things like massages and facials.I went in for a pedicure on Thursday and by Friday night both of my big toes nail polishes were chipped. It’s now Sunday and my left big toe has no polish left. I haven’t picked at it or anything it’s just falling off when removing socks.To me it’s not worth spending $60 on a spa pedicure to have them chip the next day. There’s a lot of places in Rochester that do more for less and have polish stay.Again, it’s probably great for massages and facials but if you’re looking for nails, you’re better off somewhere else.Update 10/25 - they called me after my review and gave me a free redo because they’ve never heard of the polish chipping so soon but once again, it’s 24 hours later and my big toes are chipped again. Could be that the polish is old, could be that my nails don’t take to this brand, frankly I don’t know.

I have been going to this spa since it opened and always love it! I decided to have host a bachelorette party here. There were some communication issues in the beginning with covid an switching to a new system but all the kinks got worked out! My girls had a great time, services were top notch, and I loved the complimentary drinks and relaxing room. Whenever I want to treat someone to the spa, I always take them here! They have a high level of service and the are customer service oriented. I cannot rave enough about this place!

I recently went to the wood house for a massage and wax. The massage was amazing and staff was friendly. However the wax was horrible my eyebrows looked terrible and somehow the aesthetician got the wax stuck in my hair when doing my Brazilian it had to be cut out. I was not charged for the wax but the experience was less then ideal.

Like many of us, I am a victim of facial acne from wearing masks when I go out and about. But combined with period hormones and waffle fries, my face didnt stand a chance. I needed professional heeeelp.I poked around the internet and found The Woodhouse Day Spa.Ive never had a facial before, but WOW...my skin feels amazing! Like velvet. I know its bad to touch your face, but dang. Im pretty sure my skin has not felt this smooth since before puberty hit me.I came in and got the 50 minute Hydro facial. Kimberly was my skin aesthetician or as I like to dub skin wizard. Being new to the process, she offered to explain every step to let me know what she was doing to my face and what the process was accomplishing. If youve never experienced it, its kind of like a dog or a cat intensely licking your face.The experience was entirely relaxing and I cannot wait to go back. But youll definitely want to plan out an appointment in advance because they book up fast. Their price point is on the high end, but I think youll find exceptional skin wizards, smelly good stuff, and VELVETY SKIN! --dances-- I cant wait to see how my skin looks in a few weeks.

This was my first spa experience since the pandemic. It was exactly what I needed. Woodhouse Spa is prepared and is executing safety procedures. I had a Hot Stone Swedish massage today... I feel like a new person. This took all the pre-Holiday stress away! Annie was excellent and I cannot wait to come back. I also appreciated the extensive safety measures.

I had a fairly good experience during my service. When I was trying to leave is when I ran into a problem. When I walked out, there were two girls behind the counter. One of the girls was on the phone trying to book an appointment. The other girl was just clicking away on the computer. When I walked up, the girl on the computer said that the other girl would be able to help once she got off the phone. So I stood there for awhile and wandered around their retail just waiting patiently. The girl on the phone set the phone down and disappeared for a few minutes and then came back to the phone. I still stood waiting to check out. After I had been waiting to check out for 5 minutes the girl ended her phone call as another guest was coming out to pay. Instead of taking care of me (the person that had been standing in front of you waiting for you to end your phone call for the last 5 minutes) she took the lady waking out then. The other girl sitting on the computer this entire time had nothing to say and just kept her nose in the computer. She should have said actually this guest has been waiting to check out but instead she ignored the situation and did nothing. I spoke up and said am I all set then? Ive been waiting to check out? She fumbled over her words and called someone from the back to come ring me up and check me out. If someone was 10 feet away, why werent they called out 10 minutes ago? No apology for the wait. No apology for taking the other guest ahead of me even though I had been waiting. It turned a good experience to a bad one pretty quick. Train your front desk staff as they are the face of your business. They are the first ones to greet your guests and the last ones to make an impression on your guests, good or bad.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. I just had my second visit here with Tiffanie for my massage and I have to say it is by far the best experience I have ever had. I suffer with extreme back pain and have gone to many spas, but Tiffanie is by far the best massage therapist I have ever seen.The whole ambiance is relaxing and the whole experience from beginning to the end is amazing.

Took several phone calls and they still messed up my appointments. The manager didn’t apologize or care. Terrible customer service/ amateur hour.UPDATE - this is a response from the owner - yet while we were AT the spa, the manager refused to take accountability for the mixup, offer to make it right, or do anything at all (including offer an apology):Melissa, were so sorry that we missed the mark with your appointment. It was completely our fault for having scheduled you for the wrong day. We always strive to provide the best possible customer service and realize we fell short. We would have loved to have you come in for a complimentary future service but do completely understand your frustration and choice to to go elsewhere.Too little too late and yes I am still fuming from this experience.

I got one massage here that was fine. Since I wasnt thrilled with my first time going, I wanted to return a gift card I received. They said it would be refunded to the person that gifted it to me, which I said was fine please do so, but then continued to say they cant do refunds on gift cards. Clearly they are able to give refunds, they just didnt want to even though the service was subpar.In response to the reply from Woodhouse: you never bothered to ask why I wanted to return the card and were rude and stand-offish when I asked to return, you left no room for conversation and were visiblely angry at me for asking to return it. If you truly wanted to remedy the situation, you would.

Rada was fantastic. She knew what muscles to focus on and what stretches to do to loosen my shoulders, along with having a fanatastic flow throughout the massage. The front desk makes you feel very welcoming right when you walk into the spa.

Update: Owner/Manager called in regards to this review. She is extremely rude and unprofessional. Raised her voice and kept trying to get me off the phone. Almost all places where you have a bad experience, they want to help change that by offering another client experience or refund of service. She stated that is “not in their policy and if I wasn’t going to have a good time coming back for a service, why would she even offer such a thing to me”. Absolutely rude and obscured. Why would you offer? Customer service. Even if there was no service there is a whole section of the spa that is retail. I was completely in shock by the way she was speaking to me. She was absolutely not going to make anything better. As the call went on with her she got more of an attitude and even more rude. Began arguing with me about this instead of offering a solution.A week and a half after this my neck is still in pain from the weird and rough “service”.Really wish it wasn’t 1 star. The atmosphere here is absolutely amazing but the services are not. It was my third time here for a massage. This was a Christmas gift of a $150 gift card.The front desk didn’t seem to know what was going on as far as taking myself and two other women back to the changing area which was very cramped. I cannot remember the masseuses name. She had no idea what kind of massage I was getting. I said I was getting a deep tissue and she responded with “is that what you want?” (Asked me nothing else, I didn’t get a pre-massage sheet to fill out either so she would’ve had no idea where to work more on or where not to massage.)When I made my reservation for such. I figured she would know what she was walking into. I am not sure what kind of massage I got but it was the furthest thing from relaxing. She shook my head multiple times, vigorously. Not pleasant.The rooms have sliding doors to other rooms where I could hear the full conversation/every word said next door to my room.. Nothing was relaxing about this experience. The massage was not relaxing or rejuvenating. I left feeling weird and my body was just absolutely uncomfortable. I’ve had deep tissue massages before which were amazing and left me feeling like I was on a cloud the rest of the day. This one left me feeling mine I just went thru a tsunami and banged my head against every object possible. I did leave with a headache.I’m really really disappointed with the whole thing. This was done on Saturday and I’m still bummed out about the ordeal. In all, I feel bad that this was a wasted gift from my parents and would not be back. I am hoping management sees this and trains up their staff.- bummed out and sore

My Daughter really enjoyed our gift card. We celebrated her 13th birthday. Had the best Facials and Pedicures. We will be going back. Excellent service. ✨✨💅🏼

Great place! I love going here to see Jen for the Gentlemans Pedicure. She always does a great job. The staff is very polite and accommodating. Truly a great spa experience, everytime!

From start with the mani and pedi(with Jennifer and Age) to end with the wonderful facial from Corrine--it was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. This was my first (now of many) times and I will definitely be coming back. I give this way over a 5 stars and totally recommend everyone to try them out. Thank you all!!

ChRiStMaS StReSs??? Ho Ho Nooo more! What a great way to let it all go. I was greeted with a friendly smile and immediately lead to the Mens changing room where my locker was waiting (with my name on it!) and probably the most comfortable robe Ive ever worn. I signed up for a deep tissue massage. Wow! I forgot all about those gifts I still needed to get. Ciera did a great job of letting me know what to expect and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole massage. Couldnt be happier and will definitely be back. Thank you Woodgouse Spa!

Rada gave a great massage last week. I was pretty sore and stressed out and Rada was able to not only relax my body and muscles but my stress level as well. Rada gave great detail tailored towards my massage session. The Day spa itself is very clean and relaxing. I will be sure to repeat with Rada in the future and recommend to my family and friends.

I had their signature Mintyki facial with Kim this week. It is an amazing mix of a facial and a massage. Professional and clean and Covid protocol in place. Kim is amazing...this spa is top notch and I cannot recommend it enough.

Very nice place, professional masseuse and quality massage…just wish it went a little longer. My “hour” massage was truly more like 45 minutes. That’s the only down side.

Bought gift certificate, for my mother-in-law’s Christmas gift. When she made an appointment they told her it wasn’t valid. I was told to call India(the manager I guess) to straighten it out. She never took my calls or returned my multiple messages that I left.Very unprofessional!

Not happy. Had a 545 eye brow wax appointment and they couldnt take me cuz I was a few mins late. I even asked the lady who took my appointment if I could make it in time from 59 and Rochester Rd and she said yes. I was late cuz of rush hour traffic. Waited till I was all the way in the building to tell me now. Im bummed.
